I bought a 2020 Grand Caravan from Moncton Motors LP (Moncton Chrysler Dodge Ram Jeep) dealer on March 22. The ad on their website said it had a "1-year *** subscription". But the *** satellite radio service that came with the van stopped after 3 months (on June 22). When I talked to the dealer about it, they said there's no 1-year subscription, only 3 months. (see attached summary)

Leak/gas fumes detected shortly after end of extended 7 year warranty on 2014 ***. First repair effort by dealer charged over $600 but included a note that a further part replacement could be required. They did not call me to decide during that repair. Problem recurred a couple of months later after the very next fuel fill up. This time dealer advised that the part mentioned in the first repair needed replacement. I think it should have been replaced the first time around. They presented bills higher than advised over the phone on both occasions. They usually add on "shop supplies" or something extra at the end. The only effort towards goodwill was an offer for an oil change for these repairs that totaled almost $2000.

In July , I bought a *** from Moncton Chrysler Jeep Dodge, thinking it was in good condition since it was inspected by them. On March 9th, I took my van for an oil change, tire rotation, and filter change, which already cost me $214. I got a call at work saying that my back brakes and rotors needed to be replaced because the pads were worn down to 1mm and were scraping the rotors, which got ruined. The cost for this repair was $497.43 plus tax. They also mentioned that the pads needed to be at least 3cm to pass inspection. I use my van to commute to work and take my kids to the arena. I don't understand how my brakes could have worn out so quickly in less than a year, to the point of ruining the rotors. They also said that my front calipers needed to be cleaned and lubricated for an extra $79.95 plus tax and shop fees. I think they knowingly sold me a vehicle with faulty brakes, considering they have their own shop and should have inspected the vehicle before selling it to me without warning me about the necessary repairs. (Note: I also had to change the transmission pan gasket, which would have cost me over $300, but luckily it was covered by the warranty. I have a copy of the quote if needed.)

I bought a new 2020 Ram 2500 truck from Moncton Chrysler. They said they would do anything to make the sale, like giving me winter tires and a choice of prize from their showroom. I didn't test drive the truck because I already knew what I wanted. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. I told the sales guy, Christian, what I wanted and asked him to email me the pricing. He sent me the pricing, but when it came to employee pricing, it was a different story. They were charging me for everything, including fuel and cleaning, which they said they hide from customers. After some negotiation, we agreed to remove some charges and keep others. When I got my truck, it was dirty. They only cleaned the outside and didn't even put the caps on the holes in the back for the fifth wheel. We ordered a tonneau cover, but they wanted to charge us $130.00 to install it. The DEF fluid was only half full, and they only gave us one bottle, so we had to buy another one. The salesperson didn't explain anything about the truck, just handed me the keys. They also didn't give me the gifts they offer to all buyers and made up an excuse for why I didn't qualify. Lastly, they let me leave the lot without an MVI, which I didn't think was allowed. Now let's talk about the finance part of the deal. The person, ***, was nice, but she messed up the paperwork. She gave me two invoices, one with a higher price for financing. She said they do this so the bank will approve the financing. She wouldn't give me a copy of the other invoice, which was supposed to be the real one. The invoice also showed an extra $2885 that she couldn't explain. I think they tried to sneak in extra money to cover things I said I wouldn't pay for. My payment went from $425 biweekly to $467 biweekly just by adding insurance and the gold plan, and she can't explain why. It still hasn't been fixed. Two weeks after the deal, they took the payment for the trade-in vehicle from my bank account. They didn't pay off my loan for the traded-in vehicle! When I called to ask about it, *** was off, so I spoke to the rudest person, ***, in financing. He said he would figure out what happened and get back to me, but he never did. I called them multiple times, but they wouldn't answer. I left messages for ***, the owner of Moncton Chrysler, but he hasn't called me back. I also talked to , and Moncton hasn't contacted them for a buyout or made the payment on the 22nd or the 29th of January. As of now, the loan is still in my name. The way Moncton Chrysler has handled this deal is disgusting. They won't even return my calls, and they owe me money for an extra payment I made for a vehicle I don't even own anymore. I will never go back to this dealership after this terrible experience. They haven't even tried to fix the situation.
