Credit bureau report, transunion
Hello,
I am writing you to discuss my credit report.
I had done a credit counselling debt solution plan with credit Canada. I have completed my payments (thankfully) and I am working very hard to rebuild my credit. I am 30, I am a hard working nurse, I am in recovery and on a new path in life. I had borrowed beyond my means in the past. I have worked hard to rebuild.
HOWEVER, national money mart shows up my transition credit report despite having paid off the debt in full months ago. The other credit agencies / credit card that were involved in the plan have KINDLY removed from credit reports.
I ask you to please give me the chance to buy my first house and start a family with my boyfriend.
Please remove the report on transunion/ equifax to be UPDATED AND REFLECTIVE of my current status.
Paid in full, moving toward and working hard to build credit and start my life.
Please let me know if there is anything on my end you need to move forward :)

Payday loan
On August 29, 2021 I applied for my first (and only) "payday loan" from Money Mart. I uploaded all the required documents and waited for a decision. After 2 days my application was still "being reviewed". I emailed the company for an update, no reply. I waited another day and emailed the company again, still no reply or even an acknowledgement my email was received. At this point my application was still in "being reviewed" On the 4th day and with still no decision I sent a final email requesting an update and again no one responded or acknowledgd receipt of my emails, so I withdrew my application.
Based on this experience it's clear to me (and should be to anyone who reads this) that Money Mart has very little, if any, respect for their customers. Money Mart simply just doesn't care.
My only concerned now is that Money Mart has my valuable personal and banking information in their database. Trust me, If I had known Money Mart treated customers with such disregard I would have never trusted them with my information.
Based on my recent experience with Money Mart I would recommend against anyone doing business with this company.
I have been using money mart for 40 years. Went to south Surrey location today. I’m on disability so the lady working there said I needed proof that I’m on disability. So I went home got the proof. Then she tells me we don’t give loans to people on disability. I have received loans over 50 times. Treated like a loser.
Customer service
So I had called and asked a very simple question about a direct deposit that will be going into my account and the lady I talked to completely ignored my question then tries giving me my account balance. I said no you didn't understand what I was saying I was asking how much can be direct deposited onto my card. She then got very rude and said I didn't answer that because it's common sense! l. Like really. That's was by far the worst experience I've had with any customer support ever. And I've had some bad ones. Completely uncalled for and the reason I called to ask is cause I seen something about direct load and 7500. My incoming deposit is over 12 thousand. So was it really common sense? And even if it was common sense I didn't need the rude attitude and lack of respect. I also have a head injury so I don't always understand written thing I read. But so not happy with that call she might as well of called me a goof peice of shi? t.

Unresolved problem re#5187760
my ref# is 5187760. I paid the balance of my loan in full on February 12th for $779.09, this year and my payment reference# is 115301.
My last communication was July 2nd, with Alan from you Collection Dept. and he told me that I should received an email of the status of my complaint in a week or 2 and so far, nothing. Aug 8th, I called the Branch (Lonsdale, North Vancouver, BC) where I loan the money and they have a new Manager now and he told me that I still owe them, and I have to call 1-800-361-1407 to ask for the status of my account because he said that there is nothing that he can do on his end and this people can fix the problem. So, I called that number explain my reason of calling (again) and as expected I am being transferred to another phone number (this is what happens whenever I called for my complaint) he said that this other number is the Recovery Team and that they are the one who is looking after my case blah, blah, so still nothing. So, this person told me to call 1-877-233-9519 this time. I have to call2-3 phone numbers each time I have to ask for the status of my account and it is so frustrating. Nobody knows anything and nobody can do anything at their end! So, this 3rd person I talked to today, Marysol (from Collection she said). Same thing, after telling her my whole story (AGAIN) with my baby crying on the background, because my voice was already a little bit loud. She told me to file another complaint, I can't remember how many phone calls I did already before June 8th because the Branch kept calling me for the balance and I told them so many times that it was paid, and I gave them the payment reference number as well. So, Marysol told me to call (1-855-627-8801) to file another complaint and she also gave me this email address because you are the one who can solve this problem. I know and you know that all my calls were recorded, and you also keep notes on my account so you should know how many times I called and askedfor you to fix this problem. If this is not fixed this month, I will have to ask for some LEGAL ADVICE because this is not FUNNY anymore. It is already affecting me mentally and emotionally. I am also trying to rebuild my credit here and this is not helping. This should have been fixed long time ago. Different people from your Head Office, Collection Dept, Installment Dept and so on they all told me that they will investigate and get this fix and it is 6 months already after I paid the balance fully and still not a single answer from any of those people I talked to. All I get were collection calls from the Branch and then I will have to make multiple calls again just to get this fixed. I hope and I pray that this will be the last time I am doing this, this is too much for me. I am really frustrated, and I am in need to reborrow and yet this is what I will find out. I've been a good paying customer for so many years and this is the first time I experienced this 6 month unresolved problem. I hope to hear from you soon and hopefully with an answer of what happened. I demand to get this fixed this month; this has been so long already. Nobody is taking this seriously.
I am so disappointed on this kind of service, and I can't wait to get this thing resolved.

I went into money Mart in Moose Jaw and that employee there she was very rude and had I had a check that I was trying to cash she never called the people who issued the check she never called the bank the check was issued from she never checked on anything like that she just denied me so I called you guys and after I called you guys I talked to a man who was very helpful well I thought he was anyway and said that he dealt with it that I could go into any Money Mart and cash the check will be no problem so I drove an hour away to Regina to cash the check and when I got there the guy told me that I have to get it certified and I was not told to get it certified the problem with getting it certified is that the check is a b c Credit Union check and I am not able to get it certified as I live in Saskatchewan and I can't drive two provinces over to get it certified I don't know why you can't call to verify the funds things aren't making sense to me I was told that I could cash it no matter what I'd be guaranteed to get it cashed and then now you guys are saying you have to put a 5-day hold on it and you're going to keep some of the funds because I owe money okay I'll give you $100 but you can't keep all my money that's not right I will pay you off but I've been trying to get this check cash 3 days now and it's been nothing but problems with you guys I feel as if you guys own me for the waste of time that headache and the rudeness that I've gotten I've been nothing but patient but now what patience have ran out please get back to me as soon as possible I would really like to have this check cashed thank you oh yeah also the lady in Moose Jaw that was working to cash my check she also made me sign that check which means now that it's signed Only Money Mart can cash the check for me so now I'm screwed to be able to cash it anywhere else so she made a big mistake she made it so then I'm pretty much screwed and I've been waiting for this money for over a month to know honey badger Bitcoin because they sent me a check for money that they had to stop payment for in the machine because it didn't know who I was sending it to anyways please get back to me my phone number is [protected] or else [protected]

Poor customer service
Springfield Road- Kelowna Money Mart..I'm not someone whom complains but the customer service I received Saturday morn was really bad!? The lady working did not greet me, never a smile, spoke in monotone which was difficult to understand what she said so had to ask to repeat numerous times, need I go on?...honestly if was a first time customer I would never go back there.

I have been trying to get my installment loan refinanced, but each time, I do try, it rejects me. How many times, can you log into your bank acct and also if you try to email them, they do not answer you. I do make the payments on time and why give you a offer.
Installment loan
I took out an installment loan out 4 years ago. I have been paying this faithfully for the four years. They don't tell you the truth about renewing installment loans without giving you money. What they do is renew the old one. And make you pay and pay until your frustrated with the outcome. It isn't fair. To me l have paid enough to money mart. I have gone back 4 years to my bank account and have paid out quite a bit.

I received an email from a collection agency with a lawyers name attached stating that I owed over 1000 dollars to money mart.
I have never even heard of this company until I got the email.
I have never had any dealings of any kind with them and I believe they are simply trying to scam people.
I have never had any reason to go to any type of sleazy pay day loan type "business" for money.
Installment loan
I already have a installment loan with money mart and now I have been been invited to refinance it. I keep loading my personal info and I should not have too. They already have it. I am on odsp and then they tell me, you are declined. I am getting tired of doing the same thing over and over again.
Trying to push back or defer loan payments for 1 month
During the COVID-19, my company has shut its doors and I won't be getting paid for a while. I called Money Mart to ask for a deferral and the lady told me this:
1. Currently Money Mart does not have any policy during this pandemic outbreak,
2. to skip or defer a loan payment, I must go into the store and talk to the store clerk to arrange to skip a payment.
Can you believe such a big company as Money Mart that has maybe hundreds of people a day going into their stores touching the door handles, the counter, coughing and sneezing on the glass window... cringe.
I am so very upset with their policies during this time of need.

I took loan from money mart and slowly paying off but now I am
Not able to pay due to off work and health reason, money mart charging me double amount and sending me to a collections, I try to get settlement maybe sum lump payment they didn't accepting the offer I give it to them.. with an interest and everything I paid so far 14k$ and still they are telling me 9k$ owing, matter effect my loan was only 8k$

I have worked with Cash Money and know the procedures. Its unfortunately this company will always be second and coming to third because of customer service. Wanted to cash a cheque and took 1 hr for verification. When they will straight up like and take hours also take extra from your cheque suspecting people wont look. I came to Money Mart thinking this company was better but I'll take my cheques anywhere else. Having people wait while cashiers have fun all day is not ideal.
