It is a racket. You will pay your money for nothing
I now have a 200.00 payment that I am paying. Plus’s the Swepco. Payment. Because my solar does not work like they say it was suppose too. Cannot get a hold of the company’s ( Apollo solar). And mosaic refuses to talk to me. And on top of that they are raising my interest rates this month. ( and yes I have paid every month. To them and my electric company.
Recommendation: Run away from them. Avoid unless you want to be in debt for nothing forever! P
They have no ideal iff the solar is finished or even started. They just want their money!
Lies lies lies
I was told by the representative that I would be as fully off grid as possible, that I would only have a connection fee from the power company, that I would have power going to the entire house in the instance of a power outage. None of this was true, my Water Heater & AC aren’t even connected to the solar power, my electric bill continues to go up & just a week ago we had a power outage, we had solar power for a few hours from the battery then had to wait for the power company to get back up, with no hot water or ac. No one explains the Tesla app to you either, you have to figure that out on your own. This has been, by far, the worse decisions of my life & I’ve been married twice. Now they are telling me it is going to cost more to get what I initially signed up for, acting like they never stated I would be as fully off grid as possible.
Recommendation: Do not do it
Predatory Collection Agency
They are a lending institution in name only. I have sent 2 checks to them well in advance of the due date. Both check appear to have been held for 30 days. Got late notices with penalties. They couldn’t find the checks even after my bank said they should have.
Paid via EFT through Mosaic (including penalties). Informed them I would be putting a stop payment on the checks. They noted my file and said they would not cash the checks. They cashed the checks (they were returned “stop payment”. Mosaic then charged me a fee for both checks.
Since they were not receiving the checks, when I did the original EFT, I set up auto pay through their system for the due date. Next month I get a letter (we’ll past the grace period and another penalty) they my loan had not been paid. Called and was told that they didn’t try to process the payment until the day after the due date and their system would not allow them to do it.
When ever I try to call and talk to someone they do not care about trying to solve the issue. They only want their money and right now and don’t care that they take too long to process a check or screw up on their end. This appears like a money making venture on their part.
Billy Parish spews a lot of platitudes about how he wants to help people and how he is such a great guy. He certainly “talks the talk” but he doesn’t seem to know what is going on in the trenches of his company and does not walk the walk.
Not enough time and energy to go into Ion Solar who Billy does business with and their deceptive business practices. I guess if Billy can make money that is his only concern.
Sad.
Recommendation: Do not use this company or any company associated with it
Where to begin we are in the process of seeking our home and our solar loan has been the biggest stressor of all
Where to begin we are in the process of seeking our home and our solar loan has been the biggest stressor of all. We originally signed on with mosaic as our solar loan provider- they later sold to DCU (who apparently doesnt handle solar loans- how did that happen). Regardless, we are now trying to transfer this large loan to the new Potential buyers who are willing to take it over in FULL and are being told we cant transfer it. This was never! Told to us when we moved over to DCU (seems like something that should be communicated huh?!) we have to sell our home for job purposes and relocation and have a great buyer who may walk bc of this. I am at a loss. Please someone help me with this.

Very professional, consumer friendly and no hidden agenda. I would recommend Solarmosaic with confidence too family and friends alike.
They are just interested in collecting. I have a Solar project that was started on 04/15/2022 and as of today 01/10/2023 is still not operational or generating any savings as had been promised. When I called I was basically told that I had to continue paying regardless of the system working or not because that was in the contract. I had made payments from 07/22 to 10/22 but got reported to Credit reporting agencies and dropped my credit score by 98 points. No empathy or care. Avoid them at all costs!
Just completed the bathroom remodel. Mosaic was fast, friendly and professional. I am happy so far. Now comes the money part. I hope it goes as well. Plan to pay off in two payments.
Mosaic makes it easy, we will see how they handle s*** customer service from the *** company.
Sales rep came to my home and told me about the solar panel program
Sales rep came to my home and told me about the solar panel program. At that time, I advised him that I could only pay a $100 per month. They install the solar panels and everything was fine for couple of months. Then all of a sudden, I received a bill for $150. When I reached out and asked why my bill went up they said that this is the current rates with no explanation . Now I'm receiving calls and letters stating that I'm a month behind. I gave them 2 checks a couple days apart and they decided to catch both of them within the same month. They sent my account to a collection Agency, even though I pay my bill everyone. I called numerous times and ask them to correct my account and they refuse and hang up. Do not do business with these crooks, Liars, unprofessional. They are the worst!

Ease of application and approval process, interest rate and terms available. Follow-up and follow through.
Mosaic made the finance a breeze and set my payments for automatic pay.Thank you
Great customer service, made a dream come true. helped in making my home more valuable and cost effective.
They did a good job on my bathroom love it
Looking to install solar panels on my home checking out options with Freedom Forever a solar company that recommended Mosaic
Looking to install solar panels on my home checking out options with Freedom Forever a solar company that recommended Mosaic. I am not sure of the connection between the two companies but one must exist. I allowed Freedom Forever to do a "hard check" on my credit, this was done by MOSAIC. I was accepted and immediately sent paper work to sign for the loan. Here is the problem; I only had one phone call with Freedom Forever, I have no idea if i want to use them and have no idea what the solar panel plan will look like, they have never been to the property to determine anything about the project. Yet, the loan which needs to be signed to continue with Freedom Forever needs to be signed to continue. The loan is non reversible after 3 days. I do not see how Freedom Forever would visit the property and draw up plans and have me approve it in 3 days. That is all the time you have, 3 days, to reverse the loan and stop from proceeding. There is something very wrong with this arrangement.

Extremely quick and easy, with very reasonable rates. I highly recommend using Mosiac.
Easy to use and inexpensive overall financing. Seems like a good company to deal with
I am in the mortgage business, and I have been in the mortgage business for nearly 31 years
I am in the mortgage business, and I have been in the mortgage business for nearly 31 years. I have never seen anything like this happen before. I have a very qualified buyer with an above 700 credit score and easily qualifies to buy the home. The only thing stopping my buyer from making the purchase is Mosaic Loans and assuming the sellers solar loan from Mosaic. This is unbelievable. Mosaic pulls one credit bureau and bases their decision off of that credit score. Again, the borrower qualifies to buy the home, but Mosaic is not allowing my borrower to assume the outstanding balance of the existing solar loan. This is putting a stop to my buyers ability of achieving their hopes of home ownership. This sounds like the start of a class action suit. I help nearly 200 families a year finance their homes, and i will make sure every customer I help moving forward hears this story. I will do my best to make sure my customers avoid Mosaic. Mosaic Loans sounds like a very poorly run company with very poor management.
so far, no problems-all good! very easy to work with
I am very satisfied with the whole process from start to finnish and ai cannot thank you enough. Super happy about the end result. Thank you.
It went well, we have no complaints at this point.
Very professional and process was very easy. Thank you for serving our need. Would recommend to anyone interested.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...They financed our solar panels. I won't even begin to discuss the problems with te panels due to this review being about the financing. We received our first bill from this company 3 months after agreeing to have solar panels installed. We started making payments right away (as soon as we ot the first bill) even though our panels were not completely installed. 11 months later we are selling our house and call to get a payoff amount and find out we were being charged $5.90 interest per day starting on the VERY FIRST DAY that they paid the solar company. Even though we did not receive a bill for 3 months. Since the panels were not installed we did not question if we needed to start making payments, as we were originally told we would not have to make payments until panels were up and running. Anyway to make a long story short after paying $2300 total over te last several months, the payoff for this loan is still MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL LOAN AMOUNT. It seems like if you make the monthly payments and no more, you will never get them paid off...BUYER BEWARE

Horrible experience, total **** artists that only care about the next dollar they can extract out of you
Horrible experience, total *** artists that only care about the next dollar they can extract out of you. They were referred to when when I bought Tesla solar panels last year by Tesla. - I increased my payment by triple to pay off the loan faster and my interest payment went up! I called them on this (I am a CFO by the way) and asked them to explain the numbers. After the customer support guy couldn't explain it (and yes, I CFOed him), he said a manager would call back and never did. Total ***, math is math and you can't talk your way out of it. - They did not disclose that they put a UCC lien hold on my mortgage, I only found out after I started a process to Refi a few weeks ago. - I just paid off the loan and noticed that for my next payment my interest was going up from 4.99 to 5.24? Hmm, that's not the way a fixed 'mortgage' works nor was this disclosed. Luckily this won't impact me since I paid it off, but added to the other items above, this just reeks of a horrible company with horrible practices. - Finally, with all these bad reviews and complaints, Complaintsboard.com how do you rate them A+?

On January 20, 2022, Philippe, a Consultant for Solar Mosaic, influenced my solar decision.
On January 20, 2022, Philippe, a Consultant for Solar Mosaic (website is www.freedom.com), convinced me to sign up to have a solar system installed at our house. We met several times at our house due to concerns about potential savings on electric bills. I expressed to him my concern that the federal tax credit he mentioned might not benefit our tax situation, as we do not owe much in income tax. As a CPA who prepares tax returns, I am aware that such credits may not apply to us. He presented various scenarios on how the solar system could be advantageous, such as year-end rebates and lower monthly electricity costs, and repeatedly modified the contract. Ultimately, the solar panels have not been installed, and I believe the homeowners association has not approved the installation. Despite this, on May 4, 2022, Equifax reported that the agreement had been finalized. I am seeking to have this matter removed from my credit report and would appreciate any assistance.
Went to a bathroom remolding company in Hot Springs AR
Went to a bathroom remolding company in Hot Springs AR. They told us about a loan from Mosaic that offered a 12 month no interest/no payment option. With the interest starting on the 13th month of the loan. We were getting a loan in the neighborhood of $10,000.00 with the plan of putting $2,000.00 down once the shower remodel was complete. We were also intending to make payments for the first 12 months, with the intention of bring the remaining portion of the loan down to $5,000.00. Thinking that we would then be charged interest on $5,000.00 and not $10,000.00. Had a call from them to finish the loan application by phone. We not only asked about the loan repayment at the show room, but also when the sales/installer came to our home. Upon speaking to Mosaic today, we were told that interest would be charged on the full amount of the loan. How on God's green earth is it legal to charge interest on money already paid. We cancelled the loan application, and made the bathroom remodeling company aware of the highly questionable loan practices. They assured us that this offer from Mosaic was presented to them a week and a half ago and their understanding was interest would only be charged on the balance of the loan.

Mosaic finance company
Mosaic finance company. I had to replace my air conditioner. The air conditioner business used Mosaic to finance. I was sent papers documents that the first payment would be on Oct 1,2022. No interest. I received a payment on July 11,2022 saying a payment was due on July 16,2022z. The statement was dated July 1,2022. The air conditioner was installed on June 30,2022. I called Mosaic. They hung up on me the first time. I called the second time. I had also called the air conditioner business and they said the papers stayed Oct 1,2022 for the first payment. I told this to Mosaic and the person told me that they had the right to change the date. I told her that is not what the papers said. I also told her that they sent this *** with not enough time to even mail it in. She said that the *** May come even on the due date but there was a few weeks grace *** to pay the ***. I told her to change it back to Oct 1,2022. She told me no. There is also interest charged unless I used direct draft from my bank. I am not going to do that and I was not informed of that before. I am being penalized because I am not slowing them to draft it directly out of my account. I am very upset over this. This company did not do what the paper work said.

Something is very wrong with this company; I was gathering quotes for a solar panel project on my home, one of the companies quoting gave me a bad vibe; i was certain they were unscrupulous. We went with another company; two months later we received a loan statement from Mosaic. Who's Mosaic? They're not our solar panel lender; turns out the company we didn't hire somehow opened a loan on our behalf, without our knowledge nor a single underwriting call from Mosaic and they're now wanting us to start paying on a loan that never existed. it took three weeks, 9-phone calls, four emails and a complaint with the FTC to get them to send us a letter acknowledging the loan was not our responsibility and we had no obligation to pay. A lot of time wasted but finally it's done... not so fast. Last week we get a letter from a collection agency claiming Mosaic has forwarded our file for collection. Now we have the letter, so we're not concerned... but what lender opens a loan, communicates so poorly and still - four months later - still can't get their act together. I've filed another complaint with the FTC but, from what I'm told, Mosaic has a lot of issues going on.. so mine will just be added to the pile of ripped off and frustrated consumers.

We signed with Mosaic back in January this year
We signed with Mosaic back in January this year. During our 10 minute Welcome Call we listened to a gentleman who disclosed to us the Terms and Services of our loan and contract. We then signed the page (singular) presented to us by our solar contractor that had me sign that we agreed to the terms of the loan. At no point were we presented with a contract and at no point until today (12/14/22) was I instructed as to how to obtain a copy of the contract. During that 10 minute conversation with Mosaic, we were told that our loan payments would start at either the completion of the installation or after 90 days from the date we signed, whichever came first. At no point were we informed that interest would start accruing from the date funds were dispersed to our contractor. So as of 1/27/22 $9.*** / day started to accrue, and as of some date in February when the remainder of the funds were distributed we started to accrue $10.*** / day started to accrue. We were asked for our first payment in April even though Solar wasnt finished until June. To date, we have paid almost $2000 in interest only with a monthly payment of about $250 all-the-while we accrue $10.*** / day of interest. Id also like to add that the first customer representative confirmed today, after reviewing the recorded 10 minute welcome call, that we were not disclosed anything regarding accruing interest for months prior to making our first payment. The third representative we spoke to today (58 minute phone call in total between 3 representatives) said that we were shown our contract despite himself not being there nor any Mosaic representative being there. He only shows a page that I signed agreeing to the terms (spelled out during our welcome call) of the contract. Again, a contract that was never presented to us. So as of now, we still owe the entire principal balance, over $400 of interest still owed, all while we continue to accrue.

If anybody is considering a home loan financing company, please run away from Mosaic as quickly as possible and use any other company
If anybody is considering a home loan financing company, please run away from Mosaic as quickly as possible and use any other company. Their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. I have multiple examples of their incompetence but only enough room on this review to explain one situation, more reviews will follow to explain their absolute disregard for their customers. Their agents will lie directly to you and give you false info. When my no required payment promotional period for the first year of my loan was coming to an end, I had paid $6,000 in payments during the first year bringing the loan balance down to from $21,700 to $15,700. The required monthly payments were to begin on 10/20/2022, that is when the 10 year loan at ***% APR would begin. The monthly payments would be just over $300/month but that payment was based on the full balance of the loan not my new balance. All I wanted to know was what my new monthly balance was going to be when the promotional period ended. Every agent I spoke to throughout my 48 min phone call lied and continued telling me that my monthly payment for the full ten year loan period would be over $300. I continued to explain to them that it must be a lower number because that monthly payment was based on the full loan balance of $21,700, not the new balance of $15,700. One agent said that I paid $6000 to keep the monthly payment at $300, which makes no sense at all. Every other agent that I was bounced around to told me that my monthly payment would be $300, I continued explaining how that cannot be correct. After nearly an hour I talked to someone with half a brain and he stated that the monthly payment would be lower but I wont know the new dollar amount until the promotional period ends, which was two weeks from the call date. Very simple and sensible answer, thats all I needed to know. I felt like I was talking to a bunch of robots that could not use an ounce of critical thinking to realize wrong they were.

WARNING! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MOSAIC FINANCE
WARNING! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MOSAIC FINANCE. My Contractor NRGGreen Remodeling gave me a bid of $35,269 to install 18 solar panels on my roof. My Contractor told me that I would be approved by Mosaic for 18 months of no payments, no interest & no down payment. However, I "balked" at the interest rate of ***%. My credit score is 815.. I signed the Loan documents on 8/30 knowing that at the end of the 18 months [protected]) I would write a check for $35,269 payable to Mosaic. During the 18 months, I received monthly *** for around $1,025.00 from Mosaic. On 03/28 I wrote check #***, $35,269 payable to Mosaic & mailed it to the *** Box in ***, ***. After 2 weeks I noticed that the check had not cleared. I went to my *** & found out that the check was still outstanding. I immediately put a STOP payment on the check on 04/15 & issued an *** Transfer to Mosaic. I never heard from Mosaic acknowledging this payment . However, in May when I received a *** for $13,789.35. I called on 05/25 & spoke with an *** at Mosaic who informed me that the $13,789.35 is for INTEREST earned back to 08/30. For the last 2 months NO ONE from Mosaic has returned ANY of my telephone calls or e-mails. I have requested Arbitration 3 weeks ago & have yet to hear from anyone from Mosaic acknowledging my request for Arbitration. On page 2 of the signed ***% loan document, there is a note that if payment is NOT received by the due date, interest will now accrue back to the original contract date of 08/30. This was NEVER divulged to me by the Contractor. By not paying the interest due there is also a 5% penalty as well. Besides not returning my telephone calls & answering my request for Arbitration, Mosaic has now sent my *** to Collection. I mailed my check in a timely manner. I have no control over the U.S. Mail. To be penalized for the *** to not deliver my check is truly unfair. The entire solar funding turns out to be a "bait & switch" operation & totally unethical. Maybe, just maybe someone from Mosaic will contact me to resolved this dispute. There should be a - 0 - Star rating for Mosaic based on what I have experienced.

Loan fraud mosaic home improvement
Dear Patrick Moore and Billy Parish, I am writing to demand to CANCEL the loans you provided to Viridi Construction, Inc. for a home improvement project that has not been completed as promised at my residence. The loans were obtained under loan numbers (326374, 327144, 326764), dated 04/15/2022, in the amount of $36,000.00. On 02/24/2022, I entered into...

I have told this company a few times that I have not had my Solar running but yet they continue to charge me for Solar that has not been working. They have made it impossible for me to contact them.
I would like this rectified because I don’t think I should be paying for something that isn’t even on and I have proof and everything showing that it is not on
Desired outcome: I would like a reimbursement because they should not be charging me for anything that has not been turned on or completed
Loan
We have a loan just at a year with mosaic. I have never been late or missed a payment. Every bill that has come in says I am up to date and paid in full for that month with no additional money due and never a late fee. I spoke with the company today to get some additional info on paying the tax rebate. I was then informed that I was behind on paying my interest. Almost $500 worth of interest not paid. Mind you I have never missed a payment and account has ALWAYS been current. I was then told that they are charging more interest per month on my account then my actual minimum payment amount? So basically my account is in the negative every single month but I have never missed a payment. They also said that my account would continue to be in the negative if I don’t make extra payments. I have already on every single payment paid more then my minimum payment and once or twice a double payment. On that double payment (none again went to principle and all went to interest and somehow my account was still not current) they then continued to charge me interest on the days I had already paid. So basically you pay interest on the interest payment. I then went and looked at my payments and sure enough most of them paid nothing (absolutely 0) on the principle. This account would never have gotten current for 1 because however they do their math says I owe more a month in interest then my actual payment and 2 I was never told I had any negative amount owed. I have never seen a loan this horrible in my life. We are having to look into options of getting away from this company with our loan because with their math we will never physically be able to get out of the negative interest.

I first contacted Mosaic on January 21, 2022 to inform them the contractor (Proper contracting aka american family professional remodeling) that Mosaic distributed our loans to has disappeared. I have continued to call numerous times only to be sent in circles. *** began this project in February and we were informed this would take about 3 months. Not only is the project not finished they have further ruined many parts of our home such as carpeting, our HVAC systems, dry wall etc. The last time any person worked on our house was in the beginning of October, we have seen no evidence of any work done on our behalf with the city or any other entities. We have been contacted by 2 subcontractors who were not paid, one who is threatening a mechanics lien on our house. From the middle of December on we tried to contact the company many times and all of our numbers were blocked. Their physical address is also cleared out and we were told that employees were told not to contact us, the subcontractor (and many other customers). We contacted the city and discovered their license was terminated in June. We had one call at the end of January from the owner after Mosaic contacted him, but he offer no plan for a way forward and has since not returned my calls. Attached are pictures of the state my home has been left in, much of this damage is new. Additionally there are many reviews online from summer 2021. Here is the url to the reviews: https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.ProperContractingLLC.101080152.html Mosaic refuses to contact me with any information on my complaint . Between my husband and I, $75,000 has been given to Proper with $10,000 left. I would like the $10,000 to be taken off our loan as well has get documentation that the $75,000 was given to proper contracting to keep the subcontractor from outing a lien on our house. I would also like it to be known that Mosaic is working with unlicensed contractor.

I canceled with a solar company using Mosaic, and I have sent written notice and called multiple times to Mosaic and the solar company, but I was just charged my first payment with Mosaic. I dont have anything installed from Mosaic or CSA, and I have had my solar system installed with another solar company, and went with Goodleap for my financing. Mosaic stated I cannot cancel anymore, but that is ridiculous because I had my system installed from a completely different company. I was already charged my first payment with Mosaic, so I would like to get it refunded, and my loan canceled completely with them.
I decided to go with a solar company to have solar panels and system installed, which Mosaic partners with to provide loans. It has been well over 90 days, along with multiple times I've told Mosaic that my system isn't working. Now I'm stuck paying for a loan and electric bill. Mosaic has failed to properly vet their partners and now the Solar company is out of business. Throughout the process Mosaic would reach out to me and I would tell them the system isn't installed or working. However they continued to blow it off. Nowhere do I see a insurance plan through Mosaic for this issue and they have only responded with a sorry for the inconveniences and closed my case. They are still making me pay, and know the company has gone out of business. I worked with Mosaic because I trusted that they would do their due diligence and vet their partners, which they failed to do and continued to give out loans for a company that is out of business. Mosaic should be held responsible as well. No working system, and continue to take my payments.
I have been trying to contact Mosaic for weeks to correct an erroneously recorded UCC form. There is no way to talk to a legal department...but everyone I have held for...up to an hour...says that is who I need to talk to. This is about to cause a delay in an escrow closing and money to all parties. Please help me reach the legal *** to get this corrected. Call me please
I would like to file an official complaint on Mosaic, a loan company who stands as an underwriter for a solar company (M.C. Solar). I was referred to Mosaic through M.C. solar who has made multiple false promises which they cannot deliver on. Once realizing I would not be receiving the goods and services originally promised by M.C. Solar, I immediately reached out to Mosaic. I spoke to a company representative last week to cancel my loan, receiving a cancelation number for confirmation. However, I then received a subsequent e-mail informing me that since Mosaic has already paid out 60% of the loan to the solar company, they will need the money returned to them in order to fully cancel my loan. Without this return of payment from the solar company, I am being told I will need to begin payments on the original $70,000 loan. Although no goods or services have been received and the loan paperwork states that payments will begin upon completion of installation from the solar company, which has not and will not begin. Unfortunately, I fear that my age has been a factor in being targeted for this loan as I am a senior citizen. I am concerned that these inconsistent responses I have been receiving will lead to issues with the cancellation of my loan, which is imperative as the $70,000 worth of services which had originally been agreed to are not being delivered or installed and no longer of interest given the circumstances. This cancellation being contingent on return of payment from the solar company, which is outside of my control, and the fact that Mosaic is a direct underwriter of the company they cant get ahold of is extremely troublesome and unacceptable.I am filing similar grievances with the solar company and wish to see both companies held responsible for their shameful actions.

July 31, 2022: I am filing this complaint against a certain Energy Company, whose District Manager's contact details are withheld. They installed my roof, solar panels, and batteries. During the purchase, I was assured of a refund for any monthly payments if the project wasn't completed by the time the solar setup was operational. The project remains incomplete. I've paid monthly for the roof, solar panels, and batteries and received refunds for previous months except July. When I requested July's refund, I was asked to fill out a tax form, which I declined based on my CPA's advice, stating no tax forms should be needed for a refund. The Energy Company has not reimbursed me for July, failing to honor our agreement. I seek the promised refund for July, as it's not income but a reimbursement, and I am not their employee.

Unethical company. Mosaics does not train their employees about the loan process or their application so that the employees gives out misinformation. Before signing the loan, I asked the employee that they will not disburse the loan until the windows have been installed. The employee say yes that is correct so we signed the loan. The minute that the loan is signed, 30% or so was disbursed immediately which I did not find out until 6 or more months later when the window company did not even do anything to start the window process.2nd issue. I knew that I had 18 months to pay off the loan without incurring the interest loan. I sent the pymt. Then called to see if the pymt was received but was told no. I was told that I did not need to worry because the promo period was not over until 12/1 so I had a month left. When I go to pay off the loan I find out that the promo was over and I'm charged all the interest that I was trying to avoid. I called the company to say that I was misinform by their employee but they keep telling me that I was given 18 months but since I did not pay it off then they will charge. Had to force the employee to file a complaint but not even sure that the company will honor the complaint since the employee keeps telling me that is it my fault for not paying the loan off. I want a refund of my interest payment since I was misinform so that I waited to see where my check that was sent in went to. The check was not applied to my account for 12 business day. Even if it took 1 week to get the check it should have been applied before the promo period ended.
Mosaic Solar had ACDC Solar installed Solar panels on my house The charge me almost *** to install the panels a little over a year ago I'm paying twice the amount on my electric bill and loan as I did before I got Solar panels My Solar does not work Mosaic Solar and ac dc Solar refuses to correct the matter I have a twenty five year warranty on the panels and they don't work Mosaic blames ac dc Solar, and ac dc blames mosaic Solar I've asked both companies to come and take the Solar panels off the house and cancel my loan . Mosaic Solar has refused communication and so has the installer I'm stuck with a solar system that doesn't work I want mosaic to correct the matter and cancel my loan
this is my bankruptcy attornies number *** I have given them this info several times and they keep harrassing me. I have several calls from them. I have asked them to stop calling me and they refuse. Its gotten into a yelling match now.
Oct 27, 2022MOSAIC SURE PAY PPD ID: *** ACH debit-$125.40. - that is screen shot from my bank account history. That payment was retrieved from my bank account.I contacted Mosaic/Connexus to explain, that they are not suppose to take money from my account until I gat PTO(permission to operate) on my solar system. System is installed on my roof August 1st, but since system is not registered with electricity provider my bill is not reduced by energy generated. basically I have solar system sitting on my roof, generating energy that I am not consuming.I tried to contact Mosaic, but they told me - case is closed. I think it is fraudulent retrieval of money , because system is not usable by me. If solar company installed system, they are responsible for payments, until I become a user of the system.
Case # Loan Assumption for Solar Lease October 14th, 2022 To whom it may concern: Urgent complaint submission
Case # Loan Assumption for Solar Lease October 14th, 2022 To whom it may concern: I am urgently submitting this complaint to ensure that my buyer's purchase is not affected by the lack of trained staff at Mosaic. My buyer, a disabled Veteran, is in escrow to buy a home with his wife, which has solar panels financed by Mosaic Solar. He completed the lease assumption application and was quickly approved. Mosaic informed us that they sent the necessary documents on October 3rd to San Bernardino County for recording. However, neither my buyer nor the escrow received a copy of the new contract. For 10 days, we sought assistance from Mosaic but received little to no communication. This raised concerns about potential issues Mosaic was not disclosing. On October 10th, we discovered our file was inexplicably canceled. Mosaic's leadership avoided our calls for most of the day. The loan assumption department told us to reapply as they couldn't access the original approval. Despite explaining the potential damage to the mortgage process, Mosaic remained indifferent. Supervisors continued to ignore us until I reached a supervisor who, though impatient and unsympathetic, promised to call back today at 1pm. The call never came. We're worried that another hard inquiry by Mosaic will affect my buyer's mortgage process, possibly lowering his credit score and increasing his interest rate, resulting in unaffordable loan payments. Mosaic needs an IT leader capable of retrieving the file. We need your assistance.

Mosaic was providing financing for a solar installation. The installation never occurred (I have filed a separate complaint about that company). Mosaic is insisting that I continue to pay the loan even though the work has not even been started, *** has gone out of business. They threatened my credit rating and "reminded" me that they hold a lien on my house if I do not continue to pay them. This is extortion and criminal! I am attaching the finance contract below. They began taking auto payments out of my account this past October. Another payment is due on Nov. 8. I cannot keep paying for something that I did not receive.
I sold the house this mosaic loan was took out on. We went through the entire process to transfer the mosaic loan to the new home buyers. Mosaic claims they transferred this loan to the new buyers. It has been over 6 weeks and this loan still shows up on my credit report. I filed a inaccuracy report with equifax and transunion and they both contacted mosaic and say the loan is still active, despite mosaic emailing me saying the loan was transferred to the new owners of my house. I've asked 3 times now since Septemebr 23rd 2022 for proof of the transfer so I can provide to equifax and transunion and I have not received a single reply from Mosaic. I am trying to apply for a mortgage and they also require proof this loan is transferred and no longer in my name. Mosaic's lack of follow through and customer service is prohibiting me from moving on with my life by financially holding me hostage with a loan that was supposes to be transferred. There has been zero response from the company.

This business has deceptive and corrupt business practices
This business has deceptive and corrupt business practices.I financed a solar system for my house. Autopay was set up prior to loan completion to take advantage of a lower interest rate. Only after a late fee was charged was i notified auto pay wasn't set up. I called to make a payment and set up autopay, but autopay was not able to be turned on for several days after payment was made. This seems purposeful to cause people confusion as well as keep interest rates higher for as long as possible to collect more money from users. If i forget (two adults with full time careers and 2 kids...easy to forget to do this). In January 2022, I realized again autopay hadn't been toggled on when i got a late fee. I called in again to pay and turn on auto pay. The agent claims they can not turn it on, even with my verbal permission. I also, again, explained that there is no reason i shouldn't be able to toggle that on at any time, but the website does not even show the options, again forcing me to remember to go back in several days later to toggle on. Understanding i could manage my time differently, my solar power loan should not require this level of maintenance. I asked for a supervisor call back in January and did not receive one. I am currently on hold (february 26,2022), for 25 minutes, for a supervisor. I have a feeling i won't get one on the line any time soon so i have resorted to this method to get this companies leadership attention.I will also admit that i was escalated, explained to the rep i spoke to that i understood what he was telling me needed to happen, and if he wasn't able to help me, that i wanted to talk to a supervisor. He was not the reason for my frustration, but i wanted it on record that i was not going to accept being ignored on this topic by Mosaic leadership. The industry i work in also has autopay-at any time a customer making a payment can turn on auto pay. This stinks of a purposeful business practice.Regards

this company placed a lien on 2 of my properties. One which has the solar assets atop the roof. The other is vacant land and they are refusing to resolve.
This company is fraudulent. They worked together with *** Dream Remodeling in *** Oaks to scam my mother who suffers from Alzheimer's out of all of her savings of over $100,000. This company took out a loan that was signed by *** granddaughter for $55,000. If not paid back in 5 years the amount would jump to $95,000 and a lean would be put on my mother home. *** Dream Remodeling ruined my mothers home didn't pull any permits and scammed her out of her savings. We currently have an elderly fiduciary abuse case opened through Los Angeles county about the financial scam. We called this loan company on 10/10/2022 and I was told her case is closed. They blocked my email. Their address is a PO Box. This company along with *** Dream Remodeling scams the elderly out of their money. We have filed a complaint with the *** of Contractors as the contractor ruined my mothers foundation and needs to be reworked. I asked this loan company for documentation of her case being closed and I was blocked. When my mother spoke to their "customer service" , which is fake, they asked her for her social security number over the phone. The nerve of this company! They need to be stopped. The contractors extorted money from my mother as well.
I signed loan agreement *** on 9/22/22 for a home improvement project. We were told our payment would begin 90 days after the project was complete. The contract agreement stated our payment was estimated to start 12/17/2022 although that's not 90 days after the completion of the project but I digress. The project wad completed on 10/10/2022. After letting the company know the project was complete I received an email stating my payment was due on 10/25/2022 which is 15 days after the project was completed. The only reason we went with this company was because they promised a 90 day deferment of payment after the project was complete. I have attached the agreement for your reference. Please see page 9. I have also attached a screenshot of the email.
Mosaic hired CLEAN TECH, solar panel installers to install panels on my roof July 5, which should have been completed and operable 60 days
Mosaic hired CLEAN TECH, solar panel installers to install panels on my roof July 5, which should have been completed and operable 60 days of installation. Mosaic paid the installers in full, before verifying that the work was completed and panels were operable. The installers, while making promised to complete the job, decided to vanished, and the last text I received from them was January 10, 2022, as they were refusing to answer the phones, or return calls. I contacted Mosaic January 18, 2022, to informed them of this ordeal, which they had apparently known about. Four days later, I received an email from Mosaic requesting whether my panels were operable, to which I responded NO. However, Mosaic did not respond to my response. I called them on February 14 2022, and was provided with a cancellation #, and was told that the installers were not responding to their emails, but that they would reach out to them with a formal letter, and if they did not hear from them, that the contract would be canceled and I would received my full reimbursement on March 15, 2022, and that I would be notified of the cancellation in 7 - 10 business days. I never heard back from Mosaic. So on March 15, 2022, I called to inquire about the cancellation only to be told that they had changed their minds, but never bothered to notify me. Nevertheless, they stated on more than one occasions, because they were not the installers, they basically, could not guarantee the outcome and that they could not offer me any time frame as to when they could obtain a company to complete the job, even though they expected me to continue making payments for useless panels, in addition to having to pay my utility company. As of June 2022, I was not able to continue paying Mosaic. Only then Mosaic attempted to have two other companies work on my roof, whom did not prove to be trustworthy. Besides, Mosaic seems to be operating from different states. Please see uploaded docs.

in 2015 we purchased solar panels under my husband's name thru Mosaic
in 2015 we purchased solar panels under my husband's name thru Mosaic. On May 25, 2022 my husband passed unexpectedly at work. I notified Mosaic of his passing but informed them that I wished to continue making payments. After sending the death certificate and giving my phone/contact info, I also asked if the account would be ok, for now, since he had just passed. I was told that all would be fine as long as I continued to make my payments, which I had been doing. We have never missed a payment with Mosaic, as we were on an automatic debit payment arrangement, but, once my husband passed, I called twice, made payments and after inquiring was again reassured that as long as I was making my payments, I would be ok, but that eventually I would need to transfer the acct into my name, which I stated I would do. On July 25th I called to make July's payment and was told that my account was sent to collections. I was told that a call was made to my husband's phone #-which, of course, was not useful. I had given them my name and number when I initially called them after my husband's passing but I never received any calls or messages, and until I called to make July's payment, I assumed all was fine.I reached out several times to Mosaic but their associates could offer no info other than giving me the collections number that my account had been sent to. I reached out to them and was given the number of a "***" @ ***. I called, left a message then "***" ext 2022 returned my call. Once I explained the situation, she said she would reach out to Mosaic, and get back to me. That was last week and I never did hear back from her. I called and left her another message yesterday. At the advice of a VA benefits advisor, I am notifying you of what has transpired. I am able to assume the loan and make the monthly payments as outlined in our original contract. Again, I have never missed a payment and was reassured that for now, I was fine.

The loan agreement between EHS, Mosaic and me is the result of loan fraud
The loan agreement between EHS, Mosaic and me is the result of loan fraud. The incident is documented in the Complaintsboard.com with a specific Complaint ID; reported to the FTC, local law enforcement, the Adjutant Generals of SC and FL, and notified to Mosaic after discovering that the loan was paid to the contractor claiming the system was installed and operational. I signed the loan agreement on 04/08/22 under the false pretense that the loan wouldn't be activated until after the system was installed and operational. On 04/20/22, Mosaic emailed me stating my loan was approved. I contacted them and was told the documents were processing. I checked back several times, but the loan status remained pending. On 06/21/22, I received an email from Mosaic inquiring about the installation status of my system. I responded that the system wasn't operational or connected to the grid and made a follow-up call to inform them. On 07/05/22, I received a Complaint Acknowledgment from Mosaic stating they're not positioned to solve installation-related problems. On 07/09/22, they issued loan closing documents to me despite being notified of the fraud and demanded the first payment on 07/25/22. Instead of postponing the collection process during the investigation, Mosaic made threats and harassed me. They're reporting to the credit bureau that I am 30, 60, and 90 days behind on payments, despite knowing the loan is fraudulent. The lender decided to issue the loan closing contract after realizing they paid the contractor in full, despite being informed the system wasn't operational, in an attempt to force me to pay for their mishandling of the loan process. They're now using third parties to harass me under false pretenses.

June I applied for a loan for solar
June I applied for a loan for solar. July I decide to cancel (I continued with the solar installation but did a cashout refinance on my mortgage to pay for it upfront). The solar company said they cancelled with Mosaic. 9/20 Mosaic sends me loan closing docs and say my first payment is due soon. At that point, the solar system hadn't even been turned on due to permit issues so even if I had continued with the loan it wasn't supposed to start until the system was turned on. I respond to their email saying the loan was supposed to be cancelled and they say they need confirmation from the solar company so I have the solar company call them and confirm that same day. I followed up with Mosaic several days in a row after that and didn't hear anything back from them so I call their customer service on 9/23 and they said the cancellation would be processed. 9/24 they send an email saying the installer has confirmed and the loan is now in the process of being cancelled and can take up to *** business days. 10/8 is 10 business days later. 10/6 they deducted the first payment from my bank account (solar system still hasn't even been turned on by the way). I give them a few more days and then 10/14 I follow up via email. 10/15 I get an Experian alert saying the new loan account has been reported and now my credit score has decreased significantly. Several emails go unresponded, I call customer service 10/19 and explain everything, the person I talk to said they can see that everything should have been cancelled but was not so they escalated the issue and he told me to call back on 10/25 to confirm that everything has been cancelled. Now it's 10/22 and they just sent me an email saying they received my cancellation request but the solar installer needs to confirm. I have an email from them from almost a month ago saying the installer has confirmed. So I just sent them a screenshot of the email they sent me but I don't believe I'm going to get a resolution.

We were debt free and recently retired (December 1,2021)
We were debt free and recently retired (December 1,2021). Our properties county Appraisal is in the 6 figure range. We called to get a quote for solor panels, the rep. was very helpful, she sent me a *** map picture of my house and ask about trees and such. The next week We spoke withThomas from Design 1 Solor on April,28,2022. He explained how much we could save and that all the permits from our *** had already been obtained. He ask to run a credit check, we agreed, everything checked out and it was a go. Our loan was to be *** , our monthly payment was to be *** per month, this would be after the *** discount and *** government tax rebate. Which would make our loan only *** for 275 payment. If we do not pay the *** our payment could go up to *** a month, we didnt agree. In May we went to purchase property using our house for collateral, this is when we were told Mosaic had a lean on our home. We had never heard of them. Mosaic sold our account to *** in *** We did not agree to use our house for collateral and it was never mentioned. We immediately contacted Mosaic and spoke to *** who referred us to Connexus who said there was no way to cancel the loan because *** was sent to the manufacturer of the panels( they could not give me the name of the manufacturer). We contacted Design 1 asking to cancel Brain told us the panels were already ordered and they couldnt cancel. This is May,15,22. On March 24 Solar Titan sales rep came to our home
On March 24 Solar Titan sales rep came to our home. With his high presser sales tactics and must by now, to day or price will go up we agreed to have Solar Titan install solar panels on our home. They contacted Mosaic and got us approved for the loan to install said panels. After the sales rep left we did research on both Solar Titan and Mosaic. we quickly realized nether Mosaic or Solar Titan had a very good reputation and felt it would be best to cancel the deal. Me being 66 and disabled my husband 64 early retirement do to *** problems. We felt it was best for fear of a scam. We contacted Mosaic and informed them less than 24 hour after sales rep left. That was on the March 25 to cancel the contract. I was told the money had already been sent to Solar Titan but they would contact Solar Titan. I said I would also contact Solar Titan. Mosaic gave me a case # ***. I called Solar Titan and informed them of the cancellation. They said I must email my cancellation notice to them. I did email them 3 times on the same day to make sure they had a received it. Never heard from Mosaic or Solar Titan and felt it was all done. Then 3 months later we get a *** from Mosaic wanting our first payment. I called them and Talked to ***. He said yes he seen that we canceled the contract but Mosaic had contacted Solar Titan and was told it had not be canceled. I have a copy of the email I sent to Solar Titan who has never contacted us in any way or been back to our home. *** said they would open a case on this and get back with us in 24/48 hrs. I was give a new case #***. But never heard from any one from Mosaic or Solar Titan. Today 7/17 we received another *** for the solar panels that we canceled. We are not going to pay this it is a scam to get money from older people. I will file a complaint also with Solar Titan. Perhaps its time to contact Attorney General as well as any one else that will hear us. Mosaic should not of realest the money to Solar Titan

On July 31, I was coerced into signing a loan from Mosaic for solar energy installation at home
On July 31 this year, I was coerced into signing a loan from Mosaic for the installation of solar energy at my house. The total project cost, including principal and interest, was quoted as $46,750. I was unaware that my property was collateral for the loan, and the loan disclosures were not provided to me at the time of signing. I only accessed the disclosures online post-signature, which did not match the sales pitch. Consequently, I opted to cancel the loan. Mosaic agreed to cancel, contingent on the installer's confirmation of project cancellation. Mosaic gave the installer a 10-day window to confirm, failing which they would annul the loan. After informing the installer of Mosaic's expectation, the 10-day period lapsed without any response from the installer, and the loan was deemed canceled. On October 13, Mosaic unexpectedly emailed me to start loan repayments for the supposedly canceled loan. They falsely claimed to the installer that I wanted to proceed with the project, which is untrue and reflects their dishonest business practices. I had multiple reassurances from Mosaic over phone calls since August that the loan was being canceled and no funds were released to the installer. Even after receiving a statement for monthly payments on October 14, Mosaic reassured me of the loan's cancellation by October 16. However, on October 18, Mosaic sent a misleading statement to the installer, falsely stating my desire to continue the project. This is unfounded and unverifiable. Mosaic's last email to me was an attempt to deflect the issue by suggesting the opening of a new case, instead of resolving the current one.

Signed installation agreement for solar panels on 05/16
Signed installation agreement for solar panels on 05/16. On the day i signed the install paperwork, I asked specifically and was told by BOTH the solar contractor AND mosaic that there would be NO LIEN against my home. I never signed any contract from mosaic. fast forward 7 months *** i find out that there IS a lien against my home. when i called mosiac to demanf they drop the lien they illegally set against my home, they gave me some *** curcular language: "i can see how that would upset you. In the loan contract it says that we dont put a lien against the home, its just a ucc1 form against the solar installation." My mortgage servicer told me there IS a lien against my home. mosaic rep REFUSED to escalate my case. I want the lien removed, period, end of discussion. I did not agree to it, and I asked specifically because a lien against my home would have been an instant deal breaker! They are interfering with my ability to refinance my home, and when i called they wanted me to PAY them $250 to remove the lien and then REFILE it afterward, which would make the ILLEGAL lien legal. I refuse. Remove the lien or I WILL pursue legal action. I signed NO contract with mosaic, and frankly the whole process is very sketchy. I did my due diligence and was lied to, and did not sign nor was given any copies of anything from the lender. Rep tried to send me "a copy of the loan agreement". except its not a legal document specific to my file, its generic block text they copied and pasted and emailed to me. I'll happily sign a contract saying that they have a secured interest in the solar installation only, But ANY lien against my home is unacceptable, as the solar install is less than 25% the value of my home, but somehow has an equivalent stake? This is the definition of predatory lending practices, and I WILL NOT HESITATE TO ***. I would rather cancel the contract and have the solar removed, and my 7 months of payments refunded than allow a lien on my home. FIX THIS!

Mosaic Loan agreement for Sunpower solar renovations, issues with completion and payment.
Mosaic Loan agreement for a $93,569.99 loan signed on 9/29 for Sunpower solar renovations. The job was abandoned in December . Solar representatives from B&F construction, hired by Solar Star as the contractor, pulled a permit and worked until early December , then quit, accusing Solar Star of being under investigation by NSCB for fraud. Solar Star representatives visited my home, promising completion, but abandoned the job on 12/9 after installing panels. Less than 50% of the work was completed. No one responded to calls until mid-January due to COVID-19 and holidays. Mosaic loan stated Sunpower needed to request a loan adjustment. Sunpower requested on 3/26 that Mosaic adjust the loan to $36,564 for payment to Sunpower/Solar Star for solar panel work only, excluding B&F construction work. On 3/30, I requested an additional $34,134 to pay off B&F construction ($13,480) and myself ($20,654) for expenses due to the abandonment, including a retainer wall and concrete to finish the project. The total loan amount requested was $70,698, which was not fulfilled. Since then, I have been requesting a loan adjustment without a reply or a resolution. On May 7, they began taking autopayments from my bank for the unadjusted loan. I contacted Mosaic, and a representative said the loan would be put on hold until a resolution was found, but autopayments continued monthly. On 8/28, I received a call from a Mosaic loan representative, stating autopayments were stopped on 8/7, but they hung up when asked for a reason. A Concord letter with a notice of late payment was received on 10/26. My credit score dropped from 780 to 680 due to delinquent payment reports. The loan has still not been adjusted. Mosaic needs to adjust the loan and repair my credit scores.
