I noticed an amount of R560 added to my account. When I queried it, I was informed that you had a systems error last year April 2020 that you corrected now... I then sent the email below numerous times with no response, to [protected]@mrpg.com & [protected]@mrpricegroup.com. I am a regular customer and have this account for a long time. I am not very happy...

Please confirm this, as I dont think this is fair and ethical.
I am actually very disappointed that you put this on my account without informing me. I would never had known, if I did not check my account as I wanted to settle my account month end.

Bad customer service
Shocking what kind of customer service one receives from your contact centre. I called this morning to check if an item was available and at which store. I kept being transferred from pillar to post. Ended up driving to umlazi mnyandu mall where I was told it's available only to arrive there and they don't have the item. I then drove back home and called your contact centre again spoke to a very rude agent called Sindiswa who point blank refused me to speak to a manager after she was unable to assist me. She then put me on hold for over 7 mins which is total call avoidance. I still have not received any assistance up until now

To whom it may concern,
I am quite appalled by your recent online service and cannot begin to understand why your agent would request proof of payment for a situation where I do not have one, which is my problem.
I went online on the 29/06/2021 to purchase some items using my Mr P money account.
When checking out, I received an error stating my order cannot be processed;however, my credit was taken.
I have tried to contact you via WhatsApp and phone on the day;however, with no success.
I finally reached you on the 30/06/2021, spoke to a lady name Zama from your customer services who did not help at all as she advised that she's emailing me to attach proof of payment, so please tell me for the life of me where I should get this when you sent an SMS with no order number, my statement shows nothing, the 'my orders' tab shows nothing, so would you like me to log into your systems to see this when my profile shows nothing?
Can't your staff troubleshoot? I feel like they've been trained to say the same thing over and over and one gets no joy but irritation!
Please revert or I will escalate this further as I see a lot of people having the same complaints and no response from you!
P. S tell Zama I still have not received this irrelevant form!

Complaint about stores not answering
Good day i have a complaint about mr price store N1 City Mall. When one call the store they don't answer the phone. Today 26th June 2021 I've gone in to the store and spoke to one of the people working there and told him about it and I've stood infront of him in the shop calling again and one don't even hear the phone ring he the went up to his supervisor soma lady by the name of Kelly and told her the customer is in the shop and phoning and her response was "oh i see the phone is ringing". This is very very unprofessional and unacceptable. Mr. Price Tygervalley mall also don't answer their phone it ring ones then it shows line busy so that mean their phone is off the hook.

Payment not received
My daughter made an order online on 28th May 2021, the money was deducted but the order was not processed and did not appear on the app. She never received anything.
She have sent a few enquiries about her order since the 28th of May 2021 and have communicated with more than one consultant. None of them really assisted her or gave feedback, but send her messages saying they will provide feedback in either 24 or 48 hours. She have sent her proof of payment to each of the consultants. She was told they can't trace her payment, which is weird cos she have a prove of payment with MrPrice's account details and the date and time of payment. Now she has to spend money on data and airtime to contact them and send them documents she has already sent a few times. she just want her money back please.

The manager () at Sam Ntuli, Katlehong. Came to my mother and I were speaking and had his make down his nose only closing his mouth. Before he spoke we asked him to close his nose because we're in level 2. Then he throw a tantrum saying we have never worked an entire day with masks on. We must listen to him cause his management not the other way round.

Online order
I bought clothes online using the Mr Price app, I paid with ozow instant eft payment. The payment went through my account but I didd't get a confirmation email for my order which contains order number. I couldn't trace the order online because the app frozen. I phoned the customer care, used Whatsap chat which is very useless, misguiding and I called online agents regarding the issue. All they concerned about is that I need to send them pop that has a reference. I explained to them several times that I don't have pop that they want and I can a bank statement that indicates the payment was made. I also asked them to check with the finance department if the funds reflects in the bank. They rejected the suggestion claiming that they receiving many payments per day. They were so lazy to check it for me, I have never experienced such a very very bad customer service in my life.

I bought online on 21 May 2021 ( R649.98) and still haven’t received my order nor does it reflect on my order history. I called later that week and was told to send proof of payment. I sent my bank statement which should also serve as proof of payment because it clearly shows there that the money was taken. A few days ago I received an email saying that I need to send proof of payment from my bank because your finance team wants proof of payment and not a bank statement. This is truly disturbing because when I purchased everything was smooth but now that the money is gone I need to hustle for my goods to be delivered. Your books should show you where the money is, especially because I sent my bank statement. Now I need to go to the bank to get the proof of payment since I didn’t request for it when I paid (which is exactly why I bought online, to avoid driving out and standing in cues - it should be convenient for me).

I tried to close my account numerous times with a cashier but it keeps on accumulating interest last month it was on R17 now it's R117. Can u please close the account for me as I am no longer working.

On Monday 17 May I received a call from Mr Price Money Group contact centre agent. As I had recently opened an account. The agent was offering me a funeral plan and I said I was not interested. She kept on insisting, repeating herself on and on and I keep telling her that I under lstand but I'm not interested. Till she got frustrated and just hung up on me. What kind of customer device is that? Am I forced to take a funeral plan even though I don't want it?. I did not like the way she spoke to me. Forced me out in a sneaky way
I was a employee of mrp and was forced to resign after I caught 2 cashiers stealing from the company, after reporting the frauds mrp told me I was negligent and that they would have a hearing and I would be dismissed and if im dismissed it will appear on my employment record, I also didn't receive a payslip or statement for my salary or pension fund
Desired outcome: I would like to know if it was legal what they did to me because now i can't get my UIF monies also where is my payslips and pension statement
Account status not updated as closed
I paid up my Mr Price account more than 6 years ago, yet my credit report shows that the account is active. I have sent numerous call backs on the Mr Price website, emails, calls and even logged a complaint on Hello Peter, but they have not responded to one of them.
My request is simple - I require a letter confirming that the account I had with Mr Price has been closed - I cannot update my credit profile without such a letter.

I am trying to help my mother of 87 years to sort out her account with Miladys, and must say it is a useless bunch to try and get a person to assist. The call centre are pathetic, there H/Office even worse.
My mother have an account with Miladys for many years and now that she decided to close the account she has endless problems and I started to get involved.
To try and sort out her balance on the account is a total nightmare as I am under the impression that the staff is incompetent etc.
I followed the following procedure:
1. Send mails - all unanswered;
2. Visited the local store _ They contacted their H/office and I requested e-mail statements - received and requested within 5 minutes after received - no answer.
3. Send two mails to complaints department - only electronic mail saying they have enormous inflow of mails and will answer when they get the time. Needless to say in 1 month they still not received time. the second was deleted without reading.
4. They harassing my mother telephonically basically everyday.
5. I requested to speak to a Snr manager and/or director hopefully I can found someone competent, but no ons phones back.
6. phoned yesterday the H/office and requested that Mr Donovan Baney (Mrp CEO) PA kindly return my call and still no respons.
7. Phoned 5 minutes ago and had a argument with the switchboard lady and she said Mr D. Baney is not the CEO or Managing Director and transfered me to a useless call centre. needless to say I lost it!
Is there any help available?

Stolen clothes
Yesterday I went to mr price in Diepkloof Square to do an exchange for my sons clothes. I followed the exchange policy but the moment I was about to proceed to the tills they noticed that my clothes were missing. I really didn't like the service that I got
Rude manager
Mr Price Sports Mall of Africa has the most rude manager. Her name is Beauty. That woman never knows anything regarding client's accounts. She won't even bother to explain how things work or atleast call the accounts department for you to get clarity, instead she will just rudely say I dont know and move on with her life like you are not even there.
On the 26th April 2021, Mr Price accounts department advised me that my settlement amount was R4300 but when I went to the store on the 27th to settle, the amount went up by R200, I asked why, the poor teller didn't know and advised me he will call her manager for assistance.
The manager Beauty, walked like we are forcing her to come help us, and when she got to us, she didn't even greet, she just stood there, the teller explained to her, and she just rudely said "yooh I dont know" and left us there. I asked the teller why his manager is like that, the poor teller apologized for the manager's attitude.
This is not the first time I get such a bad service from Mr Price mall of Africa manager Beauty, in 2019, I was paying my account but the outstanding amount wasn't going down, I went to the store to ask, she gave me the same attitude.
How are the tellers expected to have a good customer service when their manager doesn't know what a good customer service is?
Does she treat all customers like this?
Is she taking her personal problems to work?
I deserve an apology from that lady, or my family and I will never buy at Mr Price.
The manager of Mr Price blood mall should go to training and her cashier must do the same.
I went there when I was trousers with reduced prices when I have to pay thy told me the promotion is no longer raning.

Closing my account
On 13th March 2021 I went into Mr Price Woodmead and completed the form to close my account. The store faxed the form to Head Office. I also emailed the form to the only available email address: [protected]@mrpg.com.
I followed up on the 24th March 2021 with another email requesting them to close my account. I did receive a response to say there was an outstanding amount of R225.33 and they couldn't close the account until this was settled.
I paid the amount of R225.33 to close the account on the 26th March 2021.
I tried phoning to confirm the account was closed on the 19th April only to be told again that the only way to contact them is to email.
On the 20th April I received another statement showing the amount closing my account and billing me for April. I responded but still no answer to close the account.

My daughter has been struggling to open an account since February 2021.03.30
Everytime she goes to the Newtown branch they advise that all documents has not been received after handing in documents on a weekly as per request on enquiry.
Monday at lunch a staffmember told us that they need the most recent statement with her salary, so after work we handed in the latest and it was scanned and sent same time and when he made a call to the customer service help desk he was told all documents has not been received. We left
the Manager herself made a call on Friday and was advised my daughter will receive a sms on Saturday, we went to the store again yesterday and was told the account is still pending awaiting documents. That peezed me off completely.
How difficult is it to open an account, and why do we have to begg? Does MR PRICE or the store not need the revenue to keep there doors open? Because in my space we are hungry for business and would never let our clients run around or beg asif YOU DON'T NEED MY 2 cents, IF MY DAUGHTER DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR THE ACCOUNT THEN INFORM HER AND GIVE REASONS! Most disgusting service after I close my account a few years ago for bad service, and reopened it years later. THERE ARE SO MANY MATRICULANTS LOOKING FOR JOBS AND YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE STAFF HAS AN ATTITUDE WHEN THEY SPEAK TO THE CLIENT, WE ARE NOT BORROWING MONEY OR ANYTHING FROM THEM PERSONALLY SO WHY GIVE ATTITUDE AND THEY ARE JUST EMPLOYED TO DO A JOB ?
Instore staff should show more empathy instead of pulling up shoulder and say well that's what our client Service says, maybe they don't have targets to work on and couldn't care how many customers they chase away with their attitude and how many people that very person go tell about the bad service! And the speaking to one another in their language asif the customer doesn't exist in ALL your stores is a pain.
Cancellation of policy
Good day .I'm Sheila ndaba from palm springs vereeniging, I opened my account last year November. And then on December on my first installment I paid my account including the policy and then same day I cancelled my policy due to misunderstanding with the agent who called me regarding payment issues. So I cancelled the policy in the store I signed the papers to my suprise since December last month the policy wasn't cancelled cause January they said I must pay 289 which was not my installment I paid it, February again they said I must pay 285 then I decided to pay only my installment cause according to my Knowledge when u cancel the policy automatically I can't continue to pay it. The beginning of the month I received a massage that I owe R408 which I don't know it is for what cause I never skip my installment is 157 a month so for Dec tojan I paid 300 and 285 it's only Feb where I paid 157. So I decided to call Mr Price then they referred me to financial services then I cancelled my policy but still they called and told me I owe R 408 which is already affecting my score as we speak I'm very upset. And. It happy with the service of Mr Price palm springs branch. Last week I decided to go at the store to ask them what happened about my form cause clearly they didn't fax from December till to date. When I asked the cashier said they don't have anyone dealing or trained to work with the cancellation that side I have to go to another branch which I did today the manager of evaton Mr Price was also suprised when she called them they said their fax doesn't work. So they took my email and they said they are going to send me email and then I will email it to the customer service. I returned a fitted sheet which was written queen size on the outside but inside was actually double size. I was told to go to Mr price home where I bought the product, but the one that I went to today was closer to where I live. The "manager "said they cannot help me, I asked since when do I need to go to the same shop where I bought the item cause as far as I know you can return the goods at any mr price.
