To whom this may concern,
I have went to the store and requested to cancel this account 2 months ago.
To my surprise I have noticed that I am still receiving a bill and being charged for a credit protection plan.
I have noticed on the bill they are showing a balance of R308.
I have paid up my account in July.
Why is this account not closed and applicable refunds paid back.
Pls can someone look into this query and get back to me.

I am so disappointed with the service I got yesterday at mr price sport springs mall. The service was so terrible to an extent that we were constantly reminded that the staff wants to leave the store, their contract ends before 18:00pm then at exactly 18:00 they should be leaving. The cashiers were even doing their cash ups at the front tills and my concern was our safety as customers. If I heard correctly there was a cashier named Zandile, she was being sent to the door to check if there were in coming customers so that they can close the store. I had a problem with the size on the hangers because it was not correctly placed, and I had to change the size, the cashier was so furious that I went back to change the size. My daughter was screamed at by the staff member that was doing back shopping because she mistakenly dropped an item. When I showed concern about the treatment the ladies at the tills were even back chatting that at 18:00 pm the should be at the door leaving. The last item I took I fitted it by the isles close to fitting room because they kept on screaming about time. Am so worried about the stores cashing up policy, customer services and the inductions done before your staff is hired. My major disappointment is where was Agnes as the store manager? mrp mr price 360 insurance plan - more than a month and not paid, no feedback
In Aug 2019, I submitted a claim for the payment when your in hospital for more than 3 days with all the supporting documents, it took a week for MR Price insurance to acknowledge the claim and then I was told it will take approximately a month for the claim to be reviewed and paid and if they need anything they will let me know, it has now been a month and 1 week and I have not heard a thing, nor has a payment for my claim been made. I see now from all the complaints that this is nothing new and this is how customers are treated, very disappointing.

I love to shop at mrp.
I buy all my clothing from them, but the last few months their clothing was not up to date tights with holes in them skirts that are not stiched properly.
Everyone is always in a rush and we dont have the time to go to the fitting room each time to fit the clothing and make sure that its 1000% okay we trust that it is good quality, but its not this is the 3de or 4th time that this happened and im tired of buying clothing and fixing it.
Im so disappointed in the quality of the clothing.

The Mr. Price store in Eshowe always have some kind of issue with their system. Today again did my shopping just to get to the till and then they are off line. Spent an hour trying to get clothes fitted and choosing items. Just to be told if i dont have cash they cannot help me as they are off line. Please come later. Seriously!
This is not the first time. Surely they must inform customers that they are off line so that you dont event bother continuing with your shopping at the store.
Allot of times there is a loooonggg Queue but only two pay points. The store is usually very busy but you only have two pay points.
Seriously this shop has to up their game.

On Sunday 8th Sept, while searching for a men's item. I noticed staff members don't make themselves approachable, avoiding even eye contact but having hearty convo's loud & carelessly with colleagues. Nonetheless, i walked towards one specific lady, smiled & greeted & even said excuse me to ask her a question. She deliberately ignored me, proceeded to walk on & showed annoyance at me needing assistance. I approached someone else & he was kind enough to escort me to where i wanted to be. Pity i didn't get his name.. i needed something there specifically, but, in future, I won't purchase from Mr P. Ill take my money elsewhere where the customer service is way better! I been emailing to the MRP help services and a Thobani Ngwenya keeps responding to say my email has been forwarded and i will get a response or a call to my query.
It is very disappointing that i been so long with MRP but i do not get assistance yet they are so quick to sms that payment is due before the time.
I receive monthly statements from my other accounts but not with Mr Price and would like to receive one to keep record and also for purposes of proof of address as well.

Good day please note that I have placed an order online from the mrp website for door to door delivery which cost me R60, I never received my parcel! I am furious as I contacted your customer service department hoping to get some help and there might have been a misunderstanding I have emails from your staff saying to me they delivered my parcel to someone who was not authorized to and they did not call me to authorize it! This is concerning giving the fact that I paid for this with my Mrp money account, I said to the lady either the courier picks up my parcel from the person he gave it to and brings it to me or refund me for my order! This is pathetic service from your staff, please resolve asap.

On 30 August 2019 i bought clothes online then on the 3rd September 2019 i received my order which i wasnt happy with the quality of the material then decided to return them on the 4 September 2019 at Kathu village mall Mr price clothes where i was told they dont know how to refund online purchases with eft plus us customers who purchase online we give them problems they don't understand why we can't purchase in store and i should return the clothes in a postal address written on the slip. I had to pay R100 to ship the iteams back to your Mr price return address in kzn so now am waiting for my refund. I can't believe the treatment i got from u guys cause i always purchase stuff online with other stores and refund is never an issue so for that i will never purchase or set my foot on any of the Mr price stories. You have lost a loyal customer.

I recently opened a Mr Price Home account online. I had to fax 3 months payslips and on the cover page I mentioned that I want a 6 month account (interest free).
When I went to collect my card in store at Mr Price Home Moffet on Main, Port Elizabeth, I found that I have a 12 month account. I asked if I could change to a 6 month account and I was informed that they would have to phone, but their call centers weren't open on Sundays (even though their stores are).
So I had to physically return to one of their stores and the closest store was Mr Price Home, Penford, Uitenhage. They told me to complete a form that was then faxed to change my account from 12 to 6 months and apparently they would let me know once the change was implemented. After 2 weeks I returned to check and my account was still 12 months... They phoned to see what the problem was and I was informed that my account can't be changed from 12 to 6 months. So why the hell didn't anybody tell me this? I was instructed to cancel and then reopen my account as a 6 month account.
I haven't even bought anything yet and I am already extremely dissatisfied with the pathetic service! I sent 2 queries online that have never been answered. Mr Price has extremely poor customer service/satisfaction.

When I first noticed that the incoming server mailbox seemed to have disappeared after the update, I believed I had the problem fixed. Things worked smoothly again when I re-added it with the password.
Then, a few days ago, the above-mentioned Pass command problems failed. In all this, the outgoing mail has never been influenced, it operates well.
As it stands now, let's say 15 percent of the moment, I can effectively transmit my password and receive my mail. What I think is better than nothing

I have purchased a jean on Sunday, 25th August 2019. It is part of the promotion for R250.00 for 2 Jeans, there was a problem with the size so I have decided to go and exchange it for a bigger size on Wednesday, 28 August 2019. As I was afraid it would happen the specific pair I wanted does not have a bigger size so I decided to take another one that is also on the promotion bench, but when I got back to the cashier they told me the pants was not part of the promotion. As I see it and I did show the lady as well that there is more then on e of the same pants on that promotion shelf. I am very disappointing about the service it is not neat and the cloths is not even at the right places as a person supporting Mr. Price. When you walk into a place and see a promotion you get back to the cashier and you hear that it is not on you would be angry as well. So please correct your staff to sort out the store.

I purchase a couch on the 19 Aug at this branch-ask for delivery and was told takes up to 7 days but being Monday will definitely be in the week. 7 working days later nothing delivered, on calling the branch I was told they took my contact details down short of a digit-rep does not even check for confirmation on details. nothing would have been done if i did not call. No email sent(they have that info). Now I'm being told that it might be delivered tomorrow.
the consultant that took the call even stated that the service is bad there. How does your own employees know of how bad your service is.
This is the second time I bought a couch from you and it will be the last time i ever buy anything again from this brand
change room
On the 24th of August 2019 around 15:15 my daughter went to Mr Price Gateway - A lady customer who's a stranger asked to go to change room with my daughter and my daughter offered that the lady can take her spot and go in first .
The lady didn't wanna take the offer .
The Mr Price assistant at the change room also insisted that my daughter must go to the change room with the strange lady not known to my daughter .
Is this common practice at Mr price that customers not known to each other can share a change room and an employee from Mr Price also supports such practice ? I feel it's such invasion of rights and one's privacy .
I'd appreciate if management can look into this as we need our children to feel free and not to be intimidated and to be exposed to suspicious behaviors.

I am not sure what else to add to the complaint except that someone phoned me regarding my Mr Price account, I asked if there was a problem with my account, they said no and tried to sell me something, I said no, then they put the phone down.

mrp sim card
I received a phone call on Tuesday 30 July 2019 from MR Price saying that because I'm a loyal paying customer, they want to give me a free sim card. No costs involved. It is not a contract. On my resent statement my installment is higher. They charged me with a subscription fee of R129 and R100.
My account number is [protected]. Kindly remove the charges for the sim card. I do not have any use for this sim card. I have a cell phone contract.

Opened my MR Price account in February 2019 where they offered me a FREE simcard to which I politely declined. The sales assistant insisted I take it as it had money on it and it was free. I took it and never used it.
6 months later after never having received a monthly statement, I asked the sales assistant at MRP Home to please print it out for me. To my surprise it was alot higher than it should have been!
I called Mr Price Head Office and they put me through to "Cameron", who after I explained my dilemma, said "We cannot refund you but I will stop the R100 coming off of your account"...
The R100 is STILL being added to my account every month and the interest is adding up!
Customer service just lie to get me off the phone.
I have had enough, I want to close my account with Mr Price and NEVER deal with them again!

Sunday the 4th August I experienced shocking service at your Diep River MRP Home shop. Advertising of Soft Touch Comforter for R139 for the single - 3/4 set. However when at the till they wanted to charge R199. When I told them and said I will show them they said they know what I am talking about but was not willing to go with me to look. Eventually the person Sihle Ndlanzi reluctantly went with me, they could not tell me what was the advertised item even though all the same product range was (all sizes) were exactly the same she tried to say the items were different. There was clearly no difference yet prices varied from one item to another of the same size. The stores solution was to remove the advertising board instead of sorting out the pricing. I truly feel management needs to go to that shop and audit pricing and look at staff attitude. I doubt I will ever go back to that store. I hope you take this seriously as I am not a person that normally would send in a complaint but you have a serious problem with that store and it will affect your brand name if not dealt with.

Absolutely awful! Mr Price Home Store! On a regular basis-No cashier as usual, half the lights not working, eventually cashier with terrible attitude, goods not priced- none on the shelf were priced, staff shouting across store to each other, items crumpled together and wrinkled, shop closed on Saturday- doors open but blocked with trolleys! No signage or explanation! Fed up!
