Hi, I am user of Tata harrier. I purchased this vehicle on 19.03.23 and since last one year from 7th day of purchase I am facing numerous issues related to functioning of vehicle which is neither fixed completely normal expected from a brand and product having cost around 25 lac on name of safety where safety is at stake in problem which is faced.
1. Camera system not working intermittently.
2. DRL lamps not working intermittently.
3. Main console on which speedometer, fuel meter etc not working intermittently.
4. Infotainment system not working intermittently.
5. Fuel pipe damage at around 27000 km in running vehicle and diesel drained.
Claimed loss: Around 20 days and. Mental tension.
Desired outcome: I want to replace the issue since by reported issue it's seems a defective unit launched in market without any kind of validation.

I have give a compalint about my car tata altroz reg. No. Gj23ce0716 on 21/12/2023 about my left tell light on 21/12/2023 at anand progresive car to mr. Meghraj but still today no any proper reply not given still today. I m going 4 to 5 times at show room and call more than 12 times about my parts no any responsible person at your show room. There no any claim and other service given by your show room. When I ned claim assitance service not given by your office when already cashless tieup with go digit insurance co. Ltd and I make claim process at dutt auto anand and I have complete my car within 3 days and pay half cost then your show room and fast service by other show room. I have complain regarding unsolved the claim of Tyre which is not resolved since 6 to 8 month passed,and also inspection is done from company technician but duga motors porvorim goa is not taking responsibility to solve the issue and also my GPS tracker is not working since last one month but still no response from team inspirte of regularly reminding via email and also contacted on cell phone to sales officer of the same dealer. I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the repair service provided by Tata Motors Zambia for our company's truck. Six to five months ago, we gave our truck for repair to Tata Motors Zambia and they changed the DDU spare part of the truck. However, after only three months, we had to pay another invoice of approximately $1000 for the same part, which they claimed was very expensive to replace.
Recently, we have faced the same problem again, and Tata Motors Zambia has charged us 12000kwacha to replace the part. We feel that this is unacceptable, as the part should have lasted much longer than three months, let alone one month. We suspect that something is wrong with the quality of the part or the repair service, and we would like to inquire about the matter to bring out the facts.

I am writing to express my severe disappointment regarding the inadequate and unsatisfactory service I received from one of your Jaguar Land Rover service centers located in the United States, 15875 S Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
On February 21st, 2022, I dropped off my 2001 Land Rover Discovery at one of your service center, Jaguar Land Rover Fort Myer, for a full inspection of the vehicle, engine light, new wipers, replacements of the rear bumper (which I purchased separately), oil change, radio and speaker inspection (attached you will find the invoice on the repairs for a total of $3,091.99) with the guarantee that everything was done and the vehicle was in perfect running order. This amount was already more than the vehicle was worth and more than I could afford but since it holds a big sentimental memory of my late husband I went ahead and paid.
On February 24th, 2020 upon receiving the car, I noticed that your team failed to rectify many of the car problems I had earlier reported. The engine light was still coming on, there was no wiper fluid, the radio was still not working and the full vehicle inspection was not done. The following statements will reflect such. Therefore the vehicle remained at the location. On April 11th, 2022 I received a message advising me that an email was sent for the additional services that needed to be performed in order for the vehicle to work properly and the guaranteed promise that the vehicle would be showcase room ready including a full detail cleaning service (attached you will find the invoice in the amount of $11,698.85) which shows that my vehicle was never previously inspected and services were not performed that I was told were already taken care of. I was also informed that the parts needed were going to take long to receive so they couldn’t provide me with a completion date. Now I had to ask my family to loan me the money. On June 14th, 2022, I arrived to pay and pick up my vehicle and as I drove off and started looking inside and the feel of the way it was driving was as if nothing was done. It was actually worse. I was in total shock. The inside of the car was completely filthy from the upper handles to get in and out, the dash, the rear view mirror area to the door panels. The engine was making a terrible sound that was not happening prior and the alignment was completely off making the whole car shake and there was an additional tear in the center storage console and driver’s side speaker was broken off. When can you come in to pick it up so we can go over everything to make sure your issues were addressed? The vehicle is running great at this time and there are no fault lights on the dash. Tom told me the radio is loose in the dash since the clips on the radio are broken. We also had the entire vehicle detailed and cleaned. Since Tom is on vacation, what other items were we to look at, so I can make sure it's all completed correctly

On July 19th, 2022, once again I go to pick up my vehicle which at this point I have lost all faith in your company and my anxiety from the stress is beyond healthy for me. Upon driving the vehicle and exiting the service department the engine light still came on, additional broken parts such as broken steering wheel, new bumper now broken and radio & speaker not repaired and the exterior and interior still very dirty and not detailed to the “showroom” level as promised. I called Tom right from outside of and he asked me to turn around and bring it back in.

I was out of town for medical reasons and was unable to pick it up.
August 22nd, 2020, I sent Tom Swaney a message explaining that I was still not cleared to drive therefore I am unable to pick up my vehicle.
September 6th, 2022 I sent Tom Swaney a message asking if it is possible to bring the vehicle to me due to my medical condition which was a result of all the stress your company has put me under. Vehicle pending delivery.
On September 7th, 2020, vehicle was brought to me by Andre Rosa & Dominic Sorentino. Unfortunately, I once again am baffled by the lack of performance.
Message to Tom Swaney:
Hello Tom, my vehicle was just dropped off. I paid a total of $14,790.84 and should not experience unsatisfactory service such as this. Below you will find the pictures reflecting my points.
1. Additional tear on front passenger side seat
2. Front passenger side seat has a part falling of it (it even has a napkin tucked to the right corner) I did and will not touch it. I do not know where it needs to go.
3. *Interior and exterior has areas that need to be addressed.
-Service is inadequate to what was paid for. Your words to me ("show room ready") plus what I paid doesn't seem to apply.
I will await to hear back so we could arrange the return of my vehicle.

Vehicle is being returned on September 13th, 2020 and was advised that Mr. McKenzie is on vacation and only he will approve this issues that even though they were caused at their location.

I wonder if this is standard practice for your company and if this is the usual feedback that you receive from your customers. I find what happened to be unacceptable at all scales and I am requesting a full refund in the amount of $14,790.84 with legitimate reason from a customer that has owned and serviced your manufactured vehicle since 2002. I feel this is a very reasonable request and it doesn’t even include all my pain and suffering plus additional cost I incurred.
Enclosed with this letter are copies of the documents for your reference. I hope that I will be able to find a satisfactory solution as well as a response.

Tata nexon accidental repair at mohan motors rishikesh (tata authorized service station)
Dear Concerned,
I met with an accident on 28th Jan 2022, Same day my Tata Nexon was sent to Mohan Motors, an authorized Tata Service Station in Rishikesh. It was a case of an accidental insurance claim, the concerned person at Mohan Motors, Mr. Mohit Assured me of Repairs through Cashless Claim. He committed that Car will be repaired by 15th of Feb 2022, However the work was still pending and Mohan Motors cited that they are having delay in receiving spare parts from factory. After two-three day they informed me that my car is ready but it is not starting up due to injector problem, the car was with them for over 15 days but now they were telling me that car is having injector issue and this will not be covered under insurance and you will have to pay upfront 33,000 for injector repairs, I argued that you complete the work and then I will pay, but they simply denied and said we cannot get injectors repaired until you pay upfrom. After lot of argument I paid 25000 upfront for injector repairs and they again committed me that they complete the work by 28th of March. I enquired again and asked for the update, then they told me that it will take another week and gave me a new date of 8th of March for completion of repair. During this time I told them that since I am getting injectors repaired on my expense then you should meanwhile submit repair bill with the insurance company for clearance of cashless claim. They said they have already started the process and I need not to worry.
when I inquired about the car repaiit on 8th of March they again told me that injectors havent arrived yet and gave me a new date of 16th March. When I called on 16th March they told me that everything is shut because of Holi so it will take another 3-4 Days. I inquired again about the repair bu they told me that it will take another. meanwhile I kept on asking them to get the insurance claim work done which they assured me has been processed.
I was getting frustrated due to this carelessness and lack of commitment when I told them that they are mentally harassing the customer and keeping him in dark they told me that I can go to consumer court if I want, but we have done nothing wrong. On 25th March I personally went to the workshop and asked them to update me correctly so they told me that i get the clear picture, on this they told me that injectors are ij Ghaziabad depo. On 26th march march they told me that injectors will be received by 27th, On 28th march they told me that the Injectors have been received by their vendor rotto diesel in Dehradun, But on 29th again they tell me that they havent yet received the injectors. When I confronted them they told me you can do whatever you wish to.
Moreover when i asked them about indurance claim they told me that insurance company is done closing for this year, and file will be processed after 01st April only, when i contacted
the surveyer he told me they sent him the bill on 25th March only despite my repeated reminders since 08th of March.
Now i have have no idea whats been going on , my car is there for over two months now. and they are saying it will take another 7-10 days. during this whole tenure they didnt provided me with replacement vehicle as well. I have been mentally harrased by unprofessional behaviour and repeated false commitments by Mohan Motors, Please Help to get my car back. These people are saying new things everyday and are telling me no file a complaint if I wish to.

I bought a 2nd hand 8 ton truck in augusts 2021. It is the 22nd february 2022 and no truck to do my work with
During august 2021 I approached motolink vryburg and asked the salesperson a to look for a late model 8 ton tata truck for me to buy.
I mentioned to salesperson a about truck assured (tata). His response was he knows the company because motolink has been dealing with truck assured for a long time.
After a few days a recommended that I pay a visit to tata germiston to have a look at a truck. My wife and I drove 421km to tata germiston to have a look at the truck. On our arrival we saw the vehicle and according to tata germiston as soon as we gave motolink the go ahead they would start repairing the truck. This was during august 2021.
At the end of august 2021, the admin lady from motolink, called me and informed me that the financing had been approved and that the contract could be signed. The contract was signed on the 31st of august 2021. Motolink got paid by wesbank on the 3rd of september 2021.
During this visit to motolink I also asked a when I could expect my truck.
According to a of motolink, the truck would be delivered the 3rd week in september 2021. That did not happen.
After several phone calls and visits to motolink, the truck was delivered on 27 october 2021.
Upon receipt of the truck, there were some errors, among others:
- tires, (a arranged for the tires to be replaced the same day)
- gearbox
- trailer control valve
- break server
- door rubbers
- play on steering
A recommended that I drive the truck and see what else is wrong
During november 2021, the truck had a breakdown and the motolink mechanics had to come and help me. I asked the manager of motolink, about the other unsolved faults. When will they be fixed? He told me they passed the faults to tata germiston and tata germiston must give an order so that the faults are rectified as the truck is under warranty.
I called tata germiston and asked why they were so slow with the repair of the faulty mechanical issues on which the receptionist j (tel - [protected]) informed me that the purchase price had not yet been paid in full by motolink to tata. Note it was already in november 2021. Motolink received the money on the 3rd of september 2021.
In december I went back to drop off the truck at motolink in vryburg again with a list of the same faults and asked them to repair it.
On the 4th of january 2022 I returned to motolink where I found that no work had been done on the truck yet. I asked the manager m if we could cancel the entire purchase transaction because they promised me something and didn't deliver on their promises. I must pay for a vehicle that I cannot use because of empty promises. He instantly instructed the salesperson a to cancel the purchase and they will confirm with me.
On wednesday, 5 jan 2022, I received a phone call from m informing me that I should cancel the purchase from my side. They have no problem with that.
Then suddenly, due to the tracking in the truck, I was informed of the movement of the truck and realized this truck is on its way to germiston. Arthur confirms my suspicion via phone and assures me the truck is back to tata germiston for repairs and will be back in 6 days.
On thursday the 10th of february 2022 m phoned me and informed me to inspect the truck in germiston on monday to see if i’m satisfied with the repairs because they are done with the repairs.
Luckily on monday the 14th of february 2022 I got hold of someone (phone – [protected]) from tata and he informed me that only the gearbox has been taken out of the truck and nothing else has been done.
Up till date and time, the vehicle has still not been repaired.
The past 6 months have been an unpleasant experience. I do not see any point in continuing with this purchase.
Five instalments have already been debited from my bank for something I do not have use for. This puts me in a bad financial position as I do not earn any income with the truck but do have to pay the instalments.
Desired outcome: I want this sale to be reveres (Cancelled). Pay me back my Deposito and the 6 months instalments

I am the owner of tata's TiagoXZ (MH 10DG 7981). I was purchased my car on 21st of January 2020 from Tata's Showroom belongs to sangli that is JV Motors Sangli, Maharashtra. From the date of purchasing I have facing some problems in my car, & I have told about queries to the agent at the time of 1st servicing but they can't help me well enough.
I hope you will satisfy me about this.
Problems are my car is as, 1) always vibrating the car when it gets speed. 2) After the car travel near about 40km her AC automatically shut down. Or not working properly.3) Dash Board noise is also very irritating..

Under the instruction from my client mr. sandhya kumra, residing at 94-a aggar nagar, ludhiana-141012, I have to address you as under:
My client instructed me to issue a legal notice to you, which I hereby do, calling upon you that my client has purchased a nexon xm pb10hc 0557 (product code: 54380225aijr), hsn-8703, 31.99 from dada motors pvt ltd., ludhiana, having crn no: cr01-19-[protected], along with the invoice copy no: idmlgt1920000149 and order no: so-dada-[protected].
My said client mentioned that there was wrong provisional registration certificate sent by dealer on number selection and it is almost more than a month from the date of purchase, 23rd may, 2019 and the date of receiving the original certificate was on 23rd june, 2019 but due to the fault of dealer there was again mistake done in the pin code of the certificate of incorporation knowingly due to which my client has to face a lot of difficulties and harassment, because my client could not use the purchased car even after three (3) months of provisional registration expiry, owing to no valid registration certificate, apprehending challan and unclaimed insurance in case of accident, having certificate of registration no: pb10hc0557.
That, in spite of paying for car purchase including registration, insurance to the said dealer and rs 12, 499/- monthly emis to canara bank, the car remained stagnant till date and my client has to travel on other transportation means, which resulted into increased travel expenses and time resulting in business loss amounting to rs.50, 000/- (fifty thousand)
My said client also mentioned that after lot of disagreement, the dealer somehow applied the endorsement through form 33, but after that there is no such communication from the dealer side.
It is notified that my client was being harassed from the day he made purchase of her car from dada motors pvt ltd. hence, you are requested hereby to complete the registration process at the earliest and provide my client with the original registration certificate and moreover you have to pay my client monthly compensation @ 1.5% for rs.900, 000/-nine lakhs of car sale value amount from 23rd june, 2019 to imminent date the original rc is provided, as it was your company's duty and obligation to provide rc and other documents in due time, but for your ignorance my client has to face the difficulties, within 10 days, failing which my client shall be constrained to file a suit against your company, under the relevant provisions of the consumer protection act, 1986.

my client at the time of purchasing the vehicle. Hence it may refund

Further it is to inform that your authorized showroom i.e
Tirumala Automotives Ongole Prakasam District A.P have made so many
miracles with the customers on manipulating/mesmerizing the records
duly cheating the customers and the details are as follows:-
1. Date of purchased the vehicle by our client 28.02.2018
in your authorized showroom (copy of invoice attached)
2. Date of insured the vehicle by your authorized 13.04.2018
showroom (copy attached)
3. Date of TR raised by your authorized showroom 18.07.2018
(copy attached)
4. Date of Registration of vehicle by your authorized 19.07.2018
showroom (copy attached)
Thereafter the following lapses committed by your authorized
showroom i.e Tirumala Automotives Ongole Prakasam District A.P
In this connection, it is to inform that the said vehicle
delivered to my client on 28.02.2018 without raising the TR up to
18.07.2018 and also not insured the vehicle up to 13.04.2018 by your
showroom authorities is becomes violation of Rule 86&87 of the A.P
Motor Vehicle Rules -1989. As per RTA rules the vehicle should be
insured before delivery to the customer with reference to TR. But your
authorized showroom authorities were insured the said vehicle without
raising the TR is becomes violation of Motor Vehicle Rules and it
leads to take appropriate action against the showroom authorities.
Further it is to inform that, unfortunately the said vehicle
faced an accident on 28.06.2018 with the jurisdiction of Chinaganjam
Police station of Andhra Pradesh and case was also registered at
Chinaganjam Police station on 28.06.2018 vide FIR No.74/2018 (Copy
attached for ready reference).
In turn, the said vehicle tow to your authorized showroom
i.e Tirumala Automotives Ongole Prakasam District A.P. Now the said
accident vehicle available with your authorized showroom (even today
also without starting the repair work). Due to not raising the TR up
to 18.07.2018, the insurance raised by your showroom authorities is
not valid. So, your authorized showroom is held responsible on not
allowing the claim by the insurance authorities. In view of the
above lapses, your authorized showroom should replace the new vehicle
to our client immediately.
On hiding the facts noticed above, your authorized showroom
raising the TR on 18.07.2018 and registered the vehicle through online
on 19.07.2018 (on showing the photographs which taken on 28.02.2018)
is leads to take criminal action against your authorized showroom as
per RTA Rules/Business Rules.
Therefore i request you to take immediate steps against your
authorized showroom i.e Tirumala Automotives Ongole Prakasam District
A.P on cheating the Government (RTA Department) with regards to
registering the accident vehicle as new vehicle on
18.07.2018/19.07.2018 respectively and to refund the excess amount
collected from my client and to replace the new vehicle to our client
immediately. Otherwise i will approach the Court of Law for
justification.

from day one endless problems with clutch/gears and nobody seems to be able to fix, ,
the last straw was Tuesday 2 April 2019 the vehicle had a sudden breakdown, apparently clutch issue, Thursday 4 April received the vehicle lunch time.
Friday 5th April used vehicle.
Monday 8th April first thing in the morning same thing happened, sudden breakdown.

Timing belt broke on 58 000 Km, end November 2018. Vehicle was towed into the Tata service center in Secunda. This is a warranty repair. Vehicle was returned after three weeks in the workshop and it broke down again on the same day - again timing belt. The vehicle was towed back to the service center. It is now 2 months after the initial failure and there is no progress on the repair. The engine has been completely dismantled and all I hear is that Tata is having one meeting after the other to decide the way forward. Repair hasn't even started yet. Tata doesn't provide any feedback, unless you phone and nag. The answer is always the same - we are in a meeting to decide. Up to date I have no idea when I can expect my vehicle back, or even if it will ever be repaired.

Herewith I would like to state my case against Tata.
My Husband and I bought our 1st Tata indica ini when he was just 19 years old. Then we traded the car in for a new Tata bolt 2016 1.2 turbo as we were advised by the sales lady at the Silverton branch that it is a much better buy and also they were giving us a good price as the other companies did not even want to offer us more that R40000 for the tata. Which was outragous. Seeing as Tata self was prepared to offer us more than other companies we took there offer.
We now had the new tata bolt for 2 years and guess what? The Tata broke down. Balls of black smoke everywhere. And now what do we do?
Let me tell you...
We took the Tata to a engineer. He informed us that we will need to buy a top gasket set as it needs to be replaced as well as a new turbo pipe.
We have phoned Tata Centurion a few times. The first time they could not even find the VIN number on their system. Today we phoned again and was informed by the consultant that they can help us with the turbo pipe but not with the top gasket kit. Now please tell me how the hell do we have to fix our car without the top gasket set?
They informed my husband that they wont be able to order it for us and we wont be able to get it anywhere else. They wont be selling Tata parts anymore?
Now please also tell me how this works. We still owe around R130 000-00 on the Tata. Why should we pay an amount of almost R3 000-00 per month for a car we cant drive because Tata is going out of business? How is this fair?
What are you going to do about this?
Are you going to pay our monthly installment?
Are you going to give us a new car - NOT A TATA?
We cant pay for something that cant drive because of the supplier and manufacturer... I request urgent feedback on this matter. TODAY STILL...

On the 26th of April 2018 our Tata Xenon was delivered to be checked for possible problem why it battled to start. Ab the service bookin clerk at Germiston contacted my husband to confirm that it is not the glow plugs but sludge in the diesel tank and that the cost will be around R3500 to fix. My husband confirmed that they can proceed. On the 30th of April 2018 Ab phoned to tell us that the cost to repair has now jumped to R7500. This is to take the tank out, send to somebody to get cleaned and refit. We were told that we can collect the Tata at 12H00 on 4th May 2018. At 11H45 on the 4thof May 2018 Ab phoned my husband to say that there is a new problem and the tank is leaking due to a hair line fracture and will be repaired at no extra cost. Now where did this suddenly come from? And the Tata has now been with them for a week! We are not happy about this and the service provided is bad. This is not the first encounter we had to endure with Ab. Every time the Tata goes in there is some issues and costing us a fortune in getting sorted. The fact that we cannot take the Tata to anybody else hinder us from getting better service anywhere else. We need to know what can be done about this to avoid the same problems in the future please.

Dashboard recently started cracking just like all others from this era. Cracking follows peeling then melting. The melting creates dangerous window glare. Toyota is aware of this. It is caused by a Toyota engineering defect. They did a small enhanced warranty. They need to do a FULL RECALL! ! Spoke with Toyota customer care, horrible ! Toyota position, we don't have to help you.. were not obligated too, therefore we aren't. Unreal, what's it going to take for a recall ? A body count? People crashing because they can't see because of window glare caused by a meltdown dashboard. Big FAIL Toyota!

It's a bad new year 2018 for me. as per the telephonic conversation with you; I would like to bring to your attention that my car tata indica vista kl-03 w 5453 model 2013 has been taken for repairing in focus tata motors kozhencherry, pathanamthitta (dist) kerala. for the last 1 week it has been in workshop to find out what is the problem in not starting the car. still 1 week they couldn't find out what the problem is with the car.
Still now they couldn't find out what the problem is and have taken all parts outside of car to find out where is the mistake. what is the use now after taking all parts outside and checking. don't you have good service people to check out? when the car brought itself and after 1 week every 6 months I am taking my car to there for each servicing & repairing for one or other problems. you can check out the history with focus motors.
Please do take necessary action from your side otherwise I will be taking action from my side to the consumer court and media for no fault of mine.
