AVOID IT BY ALL MEANS
Recommendation: everyone
Scamming set up website.
Avoid my deal Au at all cost.
Product is different from the photos and there's no return. They don't have access to the seller's. The seller can send a different product and you cant return it or get a refund.
For over 2 months I have been trying to return a Rug I paid 700, the colour sent is different from what i saw and ordered online and the Customer service keep promising me that the seller will get back to me and nothing has happened.
Claimed loss: 700 dollars
Desired outcome: Refund and product returned
Recommendation: AVOID THEM AT ALL COST

Scammers
The worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Advertises products with a 12 month warranty, then refuses to take responsibility. Insists customers "fix" faulty products - even when it arrives with a clear manufacturing fault. Refuses to accept returns or issue refunds, but just strings along customers for months and months.
Absolutely disgusting and they should not be allowed to operate in Australia.
I have reported them to the ACCC and Fair Trading and recommend everyone do the same.
Recommendation: Avoid at all costs
Terrible Customer Service and Lack of Responsibility from MyDeal AU for Lost Parcel and Delayed Refund
I must express my complete dissatisfaction with MyDeal AU. I had a terrible experience with the website when I purchased a used iPhone 7S demo model from CellArt, one of their sellers. Unfortunately, the iPhone got lost in the mail and, while I had to buy a new phone elsewhere to replace my broken one, I also had to cancel the order with MyDeal. The customer service representative I spoke with was pleasant and understanding, and we cancelled the order as it had not arrived within the allocated timeframe. However, despite the cancellation, the phone suddenly appeared in the tracking system and was headed back to me. MyDeal advised me to reject the package and informed me that I would receive a refund within three days.
Unfortunately, more than two weeks have elapsed since I rejected the order, and I have yet to receive my refund. MyDeal has informed me that the seller will only issue a refund when they receive the parcel back, and as they have not yet, I am still waiting. This is a significant issue that has arisen from MyDeal's poor communication with AustPost.
I have called and emailed MyDeal repeatedly, but I cannot get any resolution. Every time I speak to a representative, they tell me the same thing: I cannot receive my refund until the seller receives the delivery. It's challenging to believe that the item got lost once again, especially as I used the ExpressPost service. This is the worst experience I have ever had with an online retailer, and I am frustrated that I cannot seem to get anybody to assist me. I will not give up on my refund and intend to escalate the matter to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
In summary, I strongly advise others against purchasing from MyDeal AU. The lack of communication and failure to take responsibility for their seller's shortcomings has made for a terrible experience. It is unacceptable for customers to be left without a resolution.
Mixed Feelings: Review of MyDeal AU and Bokashi Compost Bins Purchase and Return Process
My wife recently purchased a pair of Bokashi Compost Bins from MyDeal AU, and we were surprised when we received another 7 boxes delivered by courier a few days later. We have been in touch with Annelise, one of the suppliers, who informed us that they had received numerous orders on different dates, but we have no knowledge of these additional purchases. We are unable to use 16 Compost Bins, so we would like to return the unopened seven boxes to MyDeal AU. We are hoping for a prompt resolution on this matter and would appreciate it if we could be advised on how to initiate the return process.
The situation was further complicated by a mix-up in customer service addresses, which led to an extended conversation with Mr. Mohamed at My Sale and Ozsale. This was quite frustrating, particularly considering the maze-like quality of the MyDeal AU website, which can make it challenging even to find contact details. After three months of searching, we finally discovered that MyDeal AU is publicly listed on the ASX, which provided us with a way to reach out to the appropriate parties. Although we did not end up buying shares, we were relieved to have gained clarity on how to connect with MyDeal AU.
Overall, we have mixed feelings about our experience with MyDeal AU. While the initial purchase was straightforward, the abundance of mistaken orders and difficulty in returning items has made us hesitant to shop there again. We hope that the return process can be quickly resolved and that MyDeal AU will continue to make improvements to their website and customer service procedures.
Poor quality products and unhelpful customer service: MyDeal AU Review
As a customer of MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au), I recently purchased a Scandinavian Retro chair and was disappointed with what I discovered regarding its quality. The chair arrived disassembled, requiring me to install the legs myself. This was no issue, as it appeared sturdy enough, with two screws needed to be screwed in each corner of the chair. However, after only a few uses, the chair collapsed when my daughter, who is fourteen years old, was seated on it. She was hurt in the process, leading to a further investigation of the chair's quality. To my surprise, I found that the frame that the legs were attached to was made of thin plywood and staples. When I lifted the fabric, I saw that one side of the frame was attached with only one staple, which ultimately led to the chair collapsing. Naturally, I wanted a refund or a replacement, but the customer service representative was unhelpful. Stephanie from My Deal told me that the supplier believed my daughter must have been rocking or using force on the chair, which was not the case at all. It is frustrating when a supplier blames a customer for a product's poor construction.
Along with the chair, I also bought a high-density rug, and it is now losing its tufts, creating bald patches. I have to vacuum up almost 10% of the rug every week to prevent further balding. This is not what I expected from a rug advertised as high-density. Lastly, I purchased a dog bed, and it arrived with bent frames that were for a medium-size bed instead of the large-size bed I had ordered. My Deal sent me a replacement, but the bed's frames are flimsy and bend too easily, leading to an unlevel and unstable bed. To make it worse, my furry friends are not interested in sitting on it.
Overall, I am disappointed with the quality of the products I purchased from MyDeal AU. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for quality products with reliable customer service.
Review of MyDeal's Sony WF-1000XM4 Earbuds: Important Info on China Model and Return Policy
MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au) is an online retailer that sells a variety of products, including the Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds. However, it's important to note that the earbuds sold on their site are China models that are region locked to China. This means that there are no Google Assistant or Alexa available, and the voice prompts are in Chinese. To switch the language, you'll need to download the Sony Headphone app and change the settings to English. Nonetheless, even with the app, the Tencent voice assistant will still be available instead of Google Assistant or Alexa.
It's crucial for consumers to know that other retailers worldwide are selling the international model, and MyDeal must specify this information on their product page. This information can be deceiving to consumers who expect the earbuds to work with Google Assistant or Alexa, yet they won't.
Aside from the region locking issue, some users have reported severe battery drain to either one of the earbuds when they're turned off. To clarify, the drain occurs even when the earbuds are inside the charging case. This is a Sony's faulty product issue and does not reflect MyDeal's service.
If you're not satisfied with the purchased China model of Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds, MyDeal's return policy guarantees consumers will get a full refund. However, it's crucial to note that consumers must pay a $15 return fee deducted from the refund, which is not stated on their website or in the return policy.
To summarize, if you're looking to purchase the Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds, it's essential to know that the MyDeal's version is a China model. Although the return policy is guaranteed, the product details and additional hidden return fees must be transparent to consumers to avoid any misunderstandings.
False Advertising, Disappointing Performance: MyDeal AU Review
I recently purchased a 65" 4k TV from MyDeal AU, specifically the Soniq brand. While I usually delve into the specifications of a product before purchasing, I didn't have the time on this occasion and instead opted to rely on the product reviews. Interestingly, most of the reviews were 5-star ratings, which swayed me to hit the "purchase" button.
After a wait of 14 days, I finally received the TV. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with its performance. Firstly, it only had a 30hz refresh rate in 4k mode. This makes it practically useless for gaming consoles, as the bare minimum these days is 60hz. Furthermore, it was advertised to have an HDR feature but it was only a brightness adjustment and not an actual supported feature. In addition to this, the audio quality was absolutely terrible and there were visible LED lines on the bottom of the screen. To my dismay, black/grey text also had lines within it.
I eventually went back to the sale post to check the specifications, only to find out that there was no information available. I presume this was because they knew the product wouldn't sell easily that way. In contrast, much more expensive TV's, priced over $1500, had detailed specifications listed.
Despite my dissatisfaction, I left a 2-star product review that was not posted on the website. I then received a request from their mailing system asking for a product review, where I added another review through that direct link. Unfortunately, even this review was not posted. It turns out that MyDeal AU only displays reviews with 3 stars and above. Any negative reviews are moderated out, which is a poor show of their commitment to transparency.
As a result, I am extremely disappointed with MyDeal AU and their clear money-orientated service. I will never shop with them again and would strongly advise others to approach their purchases with caution.
Negative Experience with MyDeal AU: Unreliable Product and Frustrating Customer Service
Our experience with MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au) has been nothing short of frustrating. Our washing machine, which was purchased just 8 months ago, broke down 3 weeks ago, and since then, we have been trying to get it fixed. The company's service process is incredibly time-consuming and inefficient, requiring us to email tons of information just to get a service tech to come out. Even when the tech arrived, he was only there for 5-10 minutes before stating that the washer was fine, despite our video evidence to the contrary.
After much back and forth, we finally received the necessary parts a week later, but we had to wait another 4-5 days for them to come back and install them. Even then, the technician only ran a partial cycle and left, claiming that the washer was fixed. However, we discovered that the problem still persisted immediately after he left. We contacted him right away, but he said it was too late since he had already closed out the service order.
All in all, it has been over 3-4 weeks, and our brand new washer is still inoperable. We took a chance on a brand that we hadn't heard of before and regret it greatly. Not only is the product itself incredibly unreliable, but the customer service is nearly impossible to get a hold of, time-consuming, and ultimately unhelpful. We would not recommend using MyDeal AU for any future purchases.
MyDeal AU's Customer Service: Unreliable and Untrustworthy
I recently attempted to make a purchase worth $200 on MyDeal AU's website while making use of a $10 voucher that they had sent to me. However, to my dismay, the voucher did not work. Understandably, I wanted to rectify this and contacted their customer service line immediately. However, I was disappointed to find that their lines were constantly busy and I was hung up twice, which was very frustrating. Later, I was finally able to speak to a woman who unfortunately disconnected the phone call by accident. After trying to get through several times again, I finally spoke to the same woman who was visibly unsure of how to go about my situation. Despite it only being 2pm, they were unable to cancel the $200 that was about to leave my bank account, which I found to be a major inconvenience. The representative assured me that someone would call me back, but this never happened. Ultimately, the money left my account.
The next day, I was surprised to receive an email from them asking me to cancel the order, and it would take five whole days to get my money back. I felt like I had been duped into their system, and they were going to have my money for a whole week. I tried calling them for several hours in the morning but was put on hold for almost 20 minutes each time only to end up with the same message saying they were hanging up, which was very discouraging.
From my experience, I found their customer service to be entirely unsatisfactory. They showed no empathy for their customers nor did they seem to care about helping them out, which is a significant issue. All they cared about was taking people's money as quickly as possible. If this is how they treat their customers, I can only imagine how agonizing it must be for someone who has bought something from them and then encountered problems with the product. Honestly, I don't think they are interested in assisting their customers, and all they care about is swindling people out of their money. Based on this experience, I would advise anyone against using this company under any circumstances as they seem very unreliable and untrustworthy.
MyDeal AU Review: A Scam Website That Sells Counterfeits and Offers No Refunds
I recently had a terrible experience with MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au) and I would highly advise shoppers against using this website. It pains me to say that, because I have generally had positive experiences when shopping online, but this particular vendor should be avoided at all costs. My complaint stems from purchasing what was advertised as a brand new "Genuine" Apple Lightning Charger, which upon arrival was clearly a fake version. The serial number didn't match the box, all of the Apple security seals were removed, the box was sliced open and the cord was even missing from inside the box. After reporting this to the seller, they refused to offer a refund, even though they admitted they had tampered with the box. So, I reached out to MyDeal, thinking they would help given that I had followed their escalation process. But sadly, they were no help at all.
I even have photo evidence that the charger was counterfeit, but MyDeal refused to assist me and continually tried to get me to pay out of my own pocket to return the item. They have lied about not receiving the necessary information from me, even though it was confirmed that they had. They take days to respond to queries, suggest that buyers deal with the seller directly even after an escalation has been made and even hung up on me when I called them for assistance. As a result, I feel that MyDeal is just as bad as the sellers they allow on their platform, some of whom sell counterfeit items.
Their website claims to have a "Refund Guarantee" and "Quick Refunds," but they are absolutely untrue; they are simply part of their scam. In reality, their customer service staff are beyond unhelpful, and are unable to provide the kind of service that shoppers deserve. I am truly disgusted by this company, and I think it's important for other people to be aware that this website should not be trusted. If you are thinking about buying from MyDeal, you should reconsider since there is a strong likelihood that you will lose your money. In my opinion, this website is nothing more than a scam, and I highly advise against using them.
I have the same experience but so sad no one can stop they sell their [censored]s.
Nightmare Experience with MyDeal AU: Avoid at All Costs
I recently had the misfortune of ordering a big ticket item from MyDeal AU, and what a nightmare it turned out to be. They shipped me a completely different item than what I had ordered, and getting it returned and receiving a refund was an uphill battle that took me weeks of endless email exchanges. It was quite apparent that they were at fault for the mix-up from the start, yet they still charged me for inspection and restocking fees. I regret not taking the matter up with consumer affairs sooner.
Upon doing a little research, I found that many other customers had similarly terrible experiences with MyDeal AU. It seems that their MO is to lure you into a purchase, and then make it incredibly difficult to return or exchange items. They will bombard you with empty apologies and flattery, while completely ignoring any attempts you make to assert your rights under consumer law. Getting your money back from them is an absolute nightmare, and they will try every trick in the book to delay the process and wear you down.
In fact, they even have loopholes in place to avoid paying out refunds, such as claiming that they cannot reimburse you if the goods are lost or damaged in transit. It is truly a stressful and frustrating experience to deal with MyDeal AU, and prepare for an epic struggle if you do find yourself in such a situation.
I would strongly advise anyone who is considering making a purchase from MyDeal AU to think twice. Their management is shameless, and they seem to lack any sort of ethical standards when it comes to customer service. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
MyDeal AU Review: A Frustrating and Unpleasant Experience with Lux Living
MyDeal AU is an online platform that presents itself as a seller, but in reality, they act like eBay and provide a platform for retailers. However, if you're looking for a hassle-free experience, we would suggest steering clear of this platform. While the website promises to send courier details and tracking numbers as soon as you make a purchase, the reality is far from it.
Recently, I had a horrible experience purchasing bunk beds for my grandkids from Lux Living via MyDeal AU. Despite spending a considerable amount of money, I had no idea when the delivery would be made, which caused a great deal of stress and frustration. The retailer claimed that the package was on its way, but after receiving an invalid tracking number, I decided to cancel the order.
It took 31 days after the initial "goods dispatched" notification to receive a full refund through PayPal. Thankfully, PayPal's dispute center helped to speed up the process and froze funds while the case was examined. However, the seller, LuxLiving, did not take the news of the cancellation well and hounded me with calls and emails about the delivery even after the case was closed.
In hindsight, I should have read some reviews before making a purchase on MyDeal AU. The lack of transparency, communication, and support from the platform and the seller made for a frustrating and unpleasant experience. If you're looking for a reliable and professional experience, we would suggest looking elsewhere.

MyDeal AU Review: Frustrating Experience with Poor Customer Service and Tracking Errors
As an avid online shopper, I wanted to share my experience with MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au). While I was excited to make a purchase, it quickly turned into a frustrating experience. After waiting for two months, I was accused of receiving a package that I had not received. The issue stemmed from two of my purchases having the same tracking number. Three different customer service representatives accused me of receiving the package, which I had not received.
To make matters worse, I was asked to contact Aramex to inquire about my missing package. In doing so, I inadvertently informed Aramex that I had received the package. Unfortunately, this was used against me by MyDeal AU, who then accused me of receiving a package that I had never received. This was all due to the identical tracking number of two unrelated orders.
As it stands, I have only received one of the two packages that I ordered. Despite my attempts to rectify the situation, MyDeal AU has been unresponsive and has not apologized for the poor experience. In fact, their responses feel computerized and automated, leaving me feeling frustrated and unheard.
Overall, I do not recommend MyDeal AU. The company's lack of communication and poor handling of the situation has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. While I appreciate their attempts to rectify the situation, the lack of sincerity and genuine concern for my customer satisfaction has left me feeling dissatisfied.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with MyDeal AU: 0 out of 10 Rating
Hello there! I'm here to share my experience with MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au). While I have previously had great customer satisfaction with this company, I am currently experiencing an issue with a pool cleaner that I purchased from them. This particular pool cleaner keeps getting stuck on the steps of my pool, despite my pool technician's attempts to adjust the weights. This product is clearly not fit for purpose in my pool, so I reached out to MyDeal to see if I could return it and receive a store credit in order to purchase a better, more expensive robot pool cleaner.
Initially, MyDeal's response was that I could return the product, but I would have to pay for return postage and a stocking fee. I did not feel that this was appropriate, given that the product was not performing as it should be. So, in good faith, I made a video of the pool cleaner getting stuck on the steps and explained the situation to MyDeal's customer service team. Unfortunately, I have consistently been stonewalled by the customer service team, who seem to only read my previous emails and ignore the information that I have provided.
To say that I am frustrated and disappointed by this experience would be an understatement. I had previously trusted MyDeal to provide quality products and excellent customer service, but this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. Overall, I would rate this experience as a 0 out of 10.
MyDeal AU Review: Poor Service and Unreasonable Delays Causing Frustration and Inconvenience
MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au) has caused me and my elderly mother so much frustration and inconvenience. I placed an order for masks on the 13th of March and here we are, 6 weeks later, with no signs of the items arriving. My mother is at a high risk of contracting COVID-19 as she has emphysema, hence the need for the masks. I've been in contact with the company through endless emails, and they've only just informed me that the items are still on their way. According to the tracking information, the masks were handed over to the airline on the 23rd of March, but they're still insisting that the items are on their way.
As a result of their poor service, we've had to purchase masks from elsewhere, but because MyDeal claims that the masks are still on their way, they won't issue a refund. It's clear that this company takes advantage of their customers' vulnerabilities and inability to fulfill orders in a reasonable time frame. They expect the customer to bear the brunt of the issue, which is completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, I wasn't even aware that the masks were coming from China when I placed the order. It's only after I found out that I realized that a two-week delivery period would have been reasonable. However, we're now 6 weeks in, and there's still no sign of the purchase.
MyDeal AU has clearly caused a great deal of frustration and inconvenience to my mother and me. I've requested a refund numerous times, but they continue to claim that the items are on their way. It's simply unacceptable to treat customers this way.

MyDeal AU Review: Hit-and-Miss Efficiency, Caution Advised
MyDeal AU, a popular online retail store, seems to be hit-and-miss when it comes to efficiency. The reviewer shared their experience with purchasing two items from the website. While the first purchase went smoothly and left them satisfied, their second purchase turned into a nightmare. The reviewer had to chase down the item and submit a case with PayPal to receive it, as they received no response from MyDeal or the seller despite multiple attempts to communicate.
Fortunately, the reviewer's decision to pay through PayPal allowed them to open a case and receive communication from the seller. However, it ended there, as the seller claimed to have dispatched the item but provided an invalid tracking number. This went on for another week until the reviewer decided to escalate the issue through PayPal. Only then did their order arrive, via Express Post, just two days later. Ironically, the reviewer found it hard to believe that an Express Post item could take a month to arrive and questioned whether the timing of their order's arrival was too coincidental with the escalation through PayPal.
The reviewer felt that MyDeal AU lacked customer service and honesty, urging other buyers to be cautious when shopping on the website. Their experience has left them reluctant to shop on the website again, demonstrating the importance of a positive customer experience. In summary, MyDeal AU is recommended with caution, as while some may have had an excellent experience with the website, there is a risk of encountering issues like those faced by the reviewer.
MyDeal AU Fails to Provide Satisfactory Service: A Disappointed Customer's Review
When it comes to online shopping, customer service is key. Unfortunately, MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au) failed to provide satisfactory service to a disappointed customer. In this instance, the individual had purchased four chairs from MyDeal, only to find that they were unable to assemble them due to missing screws, bolts, and an Allan key.
Naturally, this frustrated customer reached out to MyDeal for assistance. However, instead of taking responsibility for the issue as the seller, they insisted that the customer contact the supplier. After eight emails without a response, the customer was left with four unusable chairs and no one to turn to for help.
Despite the customer offering to use their own time and money to buy the necessary hardware, MyDeal failed to respond to any of their attempts at communication. This has undoubtedly left a sour taste in the customer's mouth, as they feel frustrated and disheartened by MyDeal's lack of accountability and support.
As consumers, we put our trust in online shopping platforms to deliver quality products with reliable support. Unfortunately, it seems that MyDeal has failed in this regard. It is understandable that the customer would not recommend using MyDeal to others, and this situation highlights the importance of checking out a company's reputation prior to making a purchase.
Unfortunate Experience with MyDeal AU: Lack of Customer Service and Accountability
I recently had an unfortunate experience with MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au) that I feel compelled to share with others. I initially found the product I was looking for on their website, added it to my cart, and proceeded to check out. Unfortunately, I received a confirmation email that stated I had accidentally ordered the wrong model.
Immediately, I reached out to MyDeal's customer service team on May 13th to cancel my order. I was advised that the product was already on its way, despite my requesting a cancellation. I was further instructed to wait until it was delivered, then contact the seller, Kappel, for return instructions.
Upon reaching out to Kappel, I was informed that they had no record of MyDeal requesting a cancellation or refund on my behalf. I found this very concerning as it seemed to indicate a miscommunication or error on MyDeal's end. After contacting MyDeal again, I was told that I would have to bear the cost of returning the item, even though it was their error that led to the situation. I informed them that I would have to take legal action if they did not process a full refund and cover the cost of return.
Overall, my experience with MyDeal AU left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. It appears that other customers have faced similar difficulties and I would recommend that shoppers look elsewhere for their needs. The lack of clear communication, customer service, and accountability were all major concerns for me, and I would caution others to proceed with caution if shopping with MyDeal.
Warning: Dishonest Product Advertising and Poor Customer Service from MyDeal AU
I recently had an experience with MyDeal AU that unfortunately didn't meet my expectations. We were in the market for a Kasa outdoor storage bench and decided to purchase from MyDeal after carefully examining all the dimensions and photos on the website. However, when the product arrived, we quickly noticed that the depth was a full 150mm less than what was advertised. Additionally, the hinges shown in the photos weren't there at all and the way all the parts were connected was so different that it made the storage compartment only about half of what it was shown to be.
Naturally, we wrote to MyDeal immediately to request a return and packed the product in its original packing. However, we were directed to communicate with the manufacturer over email to resolve the issue. This has led to several days of back and forth emails, with every single email asking the same question: What is the issue with the product? It's been a frustrating experience, to say the least, and we are getting fed up with the lack of a quick resolution.
We've decided that if the product is not picked up and refunded, we will approach the consumer court. I want to share my experience with others so that they can be very wary when ordering from this website. After writing reviews about our experience, the company did contact us, but they haven't taken any steps to resolve the issue. Twenty days have passed since our initial contact, and we are now registering a case with fair trading.
In conclusion, I would advise anyone considering using MyDeal AU to proceed with caution. While they may have a wide range of products and competitive prices, their customer service and product quality have left me feeling dissatisfied.
Buyer Beware: MyDeal AU sells replica Clarisonic brush heads with questionable quality & poor customer service
After a frustrating experience with a Clarisonic brush head purchase from MyDeal AU, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. At first, I was disappointed to find out that the brush head was a replica, but I figured I'd give it a try anyway. However, upon attempting to use it, I quickly realized that it did not fit properly into my Clarisonic device, nor did it oscillate as it should have.
I immediately reached out to customer service for a refund, but I did not receive a response for over a month. During this time, I also attempted to post a review warning others of my negative experience, but unfortunately, my review was not approved and posted. This was particularly frustrating as it could mislead other unsuspecting customers into purchasing the product.
However, after multiple attempts at contacting customer service, I received a response. Apparently, there was an additional step I needed to take to get the brush head to work properly, but this information was not included in the instructions. Finally, after taking this extra step, the brush head started rotating and working as it should have from the beginning.
Overall, while the product may work now, the poor customer service experience and questionable quality of the product leave me hesitant to purchase from MyDeal AU in the future. If they were more transparent about the product and responded more promptly to customer inquiries, I would be more willing to give them another chance. Until then, I would not recommend purchasing from this site.
Warning: MyDeal AU's Poor Customer Service and Third-Party Seller Risks
I recently had a disappointing experience with MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au). While purchasing a puzzle from them, I believed that I was buying it directly from them. It was only later that I found that the item I bought came from a third-party seller. Initially, this wasn't an issue, but when the puzzle arrived, I was disappointed to find it damaged due to poor packaging.
As per MyDeal's process, I put in a request for a replacement or refund. However, it has been four weeks now, and I haven't had any response to my issue despite numerous attempts to follow up. I was also surprised to find that the store selling the puzzle (Get Puzzled) had a lot of complaints from previous customers, which raised red flags for me. So, I alerted My Deal about my concerns, but unfortunately, didn't hear back.
My Deal's poor customer service and lack of responsiveness have left me frustrated and unhappy with this transaction. I feel compelled to warn others about this website and the potential risks involved. If you are considering buying from MyDeal AU, please do your research first. There is so much public information about companies, businesses and websites available online, and taking a few minutes to check this can save you from potential hassles and disappointments.
In conclusion, I advise you to be cautious while buying from MyDeal AU and be informed to protect yourself and your rights.
MyDeal AU Review: Horrible Customer Service & Product Mixup
As a frustrated customer, I have to say that MyDeal AU (mydeal.com.au) has provided one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. It has been over a month since I have been waiting for them to pick up the wrong product that they have sent me. Despite my repeated requests for a refund, they are still trying to offer me to purchase the product. As a matter of fact, they failed me twice by not informing me when they were sending any paperwork for the pickup.
Moreover, their communication is poor as they rarely answer the phone or return calls. Currently, I have even gone four consecutive days without getting any response for my email queries. I bought 40kg dumbbells, but they sent me 24kg ones instead. When I reported the matter, they initially assured me that they'd restock them soon. However, I am still astounded to see that they are still selling the same product on their website even when they have no more in stock!
As far as I am concerned, MyDeal AU may be selling products that they don't even have in their inventory. They may ship you different items than those ordered and offer you a partial refund to dispose of their items in their stock. It is utterly ridiculous, and their alleged business practices should be scrutinized.
To make matters worse, the delivery of the product took over two weeks from their warehouse in Melbourne to Sydney. I found this delay long and unreasonable, especially when I ordered a similar product from the US, which took just four days to arrive at my doorstep.
In conclusion, I do not understand how a company with such poor customer service can still be in business. They cannot organise themselves, and my saga demonstrates how they couldn't organise a pissup in a brewery. I would never recommend MyDeal AU to anyone, and I consider that working with them is complete frustration.
Order an item, they take payment. My address is in the system and then 2 days later get sent email saying can't deliver to your address will refund in a few days. In largest place outside of Perth so not remote. Can get back on the site and it would allow me to order again. No warning of not been able to deliver to my city
