Bunch of crooks
I was doing one of their game offers and all the points had credited up to that point until the big one came, the final offer.. An offer I even did a few in game purchases to make sure I made in time because that games levels were insane.. All of a sudden nothing credited.. I kept trying to file a complaint a query anything for help.. And got told two business days despite it being way more ten two work days..
When I finally submitted it I got an auto robot reply back in 3 seconds despite going through the points ledger like I was told to do, saying if it did not appear it was because I did not do it via my points or it didn't track this that and six other things.. And there is nothing they can do and even reading this was a courtesy... And then a second email said due to the fact I was helped in the past (I never was not in all the 20 something years...) that the ticket was being closed.
At the same time I was trying to redeem my active points and all of a sudden the 100 dollar gift card I was trying to get as the game points from the other levels had just kicked in appeared... I was logged out, my account deactivated and its just more robo replies.
I am not giving people my id in a world where hacking and identity theft are so rampant. They had no issues with redeeming my points in december and now theres suddenly an 'issue' because I dared try to fight for 20,400 points (which is over a 100 dollar gift card value) for a game I spent a month playing to get there?
It used to be an amazing site.. Now its just a bunch of crooks who are out tog et you to do their offers, deals and what not since they likely get some crazy kick backs from the people they have advertising there...
Do yourself a favour.
Avoid.
A Rewarding Experience with MyPoints
MyPoints has been a delightful platform for me to earn rewards and gift cards. The process is straightforward, and I appreciate the variety of ways to accumulate points. While some challenges have been noted by others, my overall experience has been positive. The ability to redeem points efficiently and receive rewards promptly has made my interactions with MyPoints truly rewarding. I look forward to continuing my journey with this platform.

Great way to ear a little extra something
I've been happy with mypoints. It's easy to earn points (by watching videos, making purchases, printing coupons, filling out surveys, fulfilling "goals" etc.) that you can redeem for gift cards or paypal redemption. It usually takes 30 days from the date of activity for your points to be "redeemable," so it's not something that happens overnight but you can accumulate a good bit of points quickly. On the few occasions that I've had an issue (mostly missing points) it is usually taken care of quickly and in my favor. Sometimes it's frustrating when you spend 10+ minutes on a survey and then it says that you didn't qualify to earn points, but for what it is, it's a pretty good program.
Best Site of it's Kind
I've been a member of MyPoints since 2007. It has improved greatly over the years. I'm very happy with the whole set up. It has saved me quite a bit of money in many ways. I always get the points from shopping or anything else I do on the site. I never have an issue in using any gift cards whether it's a physical gift card or an e-card. I either use the e-card and purchase online or print the e-card out and take it to the store in which it can be used. I love the Daily 5 and the Monthly Goals where you can earn bonus points. Yes, sometimes it gets tedious not being able to qualify for surveys, but I'm not one to give up easily so I keep trying. I also get 5 points for trying a certain number of them so it's all good to me.
Great site for giving opinions and earning gift cards
I found My points survey site when looking for ways to earn extra income. It is very easy to find surveys for the amount of time i have and it tells me upfront how much each one is worth. They also have trial products sometimes or even going to a store and you get paid for doing simple tasks playing games or voicing your opinion. Its the best site i have ever found especially helpful during these covid times. I would recommend Mypoints to anyone looking to make easy extra cash or gifts cards for bills holidays or special occasions. You can also get cash back on certain items. I have cashed out for almost $90 in amazon or paypal to my bank in as little as 2 months. If You want to make more just do more surveys do what works for you.
Love It, Recommend It
Let me start by saying I mostly use MyPoints for the bonus emails, daily 5, and the deals/shopping. In regards to those things, I love MyPoints.
As for the things I don't really do, surveys and videos, I feel like there could probably be improved. I've had video playlists break halfway through, resulting in no points for me. Disqualification points are nice on surveys, but it's not very fun to get 5-10 minutes in and then find out you didn't qualify.
Otherwise, I love that I don't feel pressured to do surveys or watch videos all day like with some rewards services. I can get rewarded at my own pace, and I love being able to get double the rewards for going through MyPoints on deals and shopping.
My mom and sisters both do MyPoints, and I have recommended it to several friends.
Best way to earn online
There is no doubt that MyPoints is the best way to earn online. They have online surveys, to earn points. You also can earn points just by shopping your favorite stores online. Points can also be obtained just by visiting a website or doing an awesome online deal you will love that if it wasn't for My points chances are you probably wouldn't have even heard of that deal u done which u love so much. My favorites are printing and using coupons for points and also playing games to earn points.
After earning all those points in so many fun and easy ways they can be redeemed for gift cards to just about any retailer or charity u would like to donate to. The gift cards u redeem your points for are received in 2 or 3 days not 5 or 6 weeks like the other online survey sites. So now I ask u can u think of any easier or funner way to earn online. If so why are u reading this and not earning online. I thought so. Thank u
What is the buzz about MyPoints?
Having used MyPoints weekly, using coupons, taking surveys, daily polls, and all the numerous other ways, I earned enough points to redeem for gift cards. It can be quite a grind to get there, but I was able to, after well over a year, redeem points for multiple Amazon gift cards and with that, I purchased a flat-pack beehive that I assembled and put in flow-hive frames. My secret for success is to keep track of surveys - the dead links, the ones gleaning information, and making sure to take screen shots for entering support tickets; these get resolved in a few days typically. I also use the coupons quite a bit. Lastly, when making any purchases online, I make sure to click through the site first for deals and whatnot before making the purchase. Familiarize yourself, understand the contract and license agreement as with any, and pay close attention as you would to the surveys you can take. Best of luck, I know I will continue.
Class-Action Crooks! They Don't Live Up To Their Promises
My understanding of this relationship was that I would help them by taking surveys and such and in turn they promised a small reward. I signed up and took hours and hours of surveys. I thought about redeeming my points for a reward but I thought I would wait until I reached the next tier for a better reward. When I finally reached that tier I redeemed the points I had earned. I received an email saying the reward was being processed. I was excited. The time I spent on this was finally paying off.
I waited a few weeks and never received another email about the reward. I recently noticed that I hadnt received any emails from them. So, I tried to log into my account. The site now tells me that my account has been deactivated. I searched for MyPoints Scam online and found this site. It looks like this is a recurring issue with them. It appears that they don't live up to their end of the bargain.
I had initially marked only "one" star on this review. However, after thinking about this I have changed it to five stars, and here's my reasoning...
I honest feel pretty mad... like I've been robbed of my knowledge and experiences that they took from me via these surveys. However, some companies out there have partnered with MyPoints and are paying for the information the members have given. MyPoints is obviously in the wrong here, but they dont seem to see what theyre doing to themselves. Theyre creating their own class action lawsuit against themselves.
My points wants to keep my points
As soon as I can tie up loose ends with this site I am done with it. Now instead of just having one insert a password to take surveys click on ad email redeem for gift cards or even shop, it wants members to verify accounts with a cell number or government issue ID. Well major issue, I know it's hard to believe in 2023 and beyond but some people do exist that do not have and have no need of cell phones AND ARE NOT AMISH! Well then My Points says fine ...send us a copy of your government issued ID. YES YES My Points in this age of rampant ID theft and website hackery my copy of my government issued ID sent to you is as safe as the data breached from Equifax, from Verification io from LinkedIn, from Facebook, from Yahoo, from My Space, from Twitter, from Experian and from dozens more AND none of them had a copy of my government issued ID What makes My Points or any third party "security" system they may use, think they are immune from hackers? And given the slacking nature My Points has fallen into in
the last several years, the third party " security" they have contracted with is likely to be lacking in quality and indeed it is. Persona, the security company contracted by My Points earns only a B rating on Up Guard and falls short in a number of security protocols. Although, no one is "forced" to use My Points, I do think it might be against the law to require an individual to provide a cell phone number or govi issued ID to use their "product" Wasn't that a whole entire issue during a recent election with an entire party insisting that no one should have to show ID even to VOTE! And I have to show ID to take a survey? Shop?Add a product to a grocery list? Redeem the points I legitimately earned? Are you kidding? Ridiculous! Insane! and should be illegal if it's not already. Maybe someone should clue in certain members of Congress and clue them in to My Points obvious cooperation with survey companies scamming survey takers out of points by asking them dozens and dozens of questions and keeping them on the hook for even over an hour only to suddenly "disqualify" them or develop site error issues or claiming that the survey taker had been dishonest or fraudulent when that isn't true at all. Complaints about this to My Points invariably results in useless rhetoric in which they claim not to know anything about it, give standard "it's the survey company's discretion when and for what reason to disqualify a survey taker" or even the dreaded "if you want to remain eligible to take surveys you must provide honest and accurate answers." They KNOW it's a load of hooey and that the survey companies regularly do this to gleen as many answers as possible without having to pay a cent. And of course they get a taste of that.My Points KNOWS it can use a DIFFERENT form of two factor authentication. It can use email and password and security questions and sending a code to an email account and call a LANDLINE phone with an AUDIO code, a d I'm sure there are others I'm not even aware of that DO NOT require a cell phone number nor a copy of a PERSONAL PRIVATE government issued ID !
Recommendation: Join at your own risk
MyPoints Review: A Great Survey Site That Cares About Its Members!
I've been a member of MyPoints for a long time now, and I gotta say, it's one of the best survey sites out there. It's super fun, they give you a lot of points, and there are so many ways to make money. I've cashed out so many times, it's crazy!
But, I did have a little problem the other day. I finished this really long survey that paid a lot of points, and when I got to the end, it said "thank you for completing this survey." But then, I didn't get my points! I only got the 5 points for being disqualified, which made me really mad. I mean, I qualified for the survey, I took the whole thing, and I even got the thank you message! It felt like they just didn't want to pay me.
I know it's not MyPoints' fault, they don't get paid if I don't get paid. But, because it was such a high-paying survey and I did everything right, I had to reach out to the Support Team. At first, they sent me an automated response like every other site does, saying they're not in control of the surveys not paying and they don't get paid either. But I sent them another message saying how unfair it was and how unhappy I was.
Then, they sent me a really nice email saying they awarded me my points and that they were sorry for the inconvenience. I was blown away! What other site is this generous? They gave me the full amount of points and I didn't have to wait long at all. This is one of the reasons why I highly recommend MyPoints. They really care about their members, and that's rare in the survey world. I'm registered with over 13 other sites, and none of them are as good as MyPoints.
So, if you're looking for a great survey site that actually cares about its members, you can't go wrong with MyPoints. I hope they read this and know that I'm really happy with them!
MyPoints Review: Earn Cash and Free Stuff with Surveys and More
I've been using MyPoints for a long time, like a really long time, and I've racked up over 200,000 points. That's a lot of points, let me tell you. And right now, I've turned all those points into over $1,000 in Amazon credit. That means I can buy pretty much anything I want on Amazon, and believe me, I do!
One of the things I really like about MyPoints is the surveys. They cover a lot of different topics, which is cool. I'm really into politics and policy, so I like taking those surveys the most. But some of the surveys are just ridiculous. Like, "Will you change your wireless carrier in the next 12 months?" Why would I do that? My carrier works just fine. And "Have you seen TV commercials that are better than TV shows?" Come on now, who actually thinks that? The commercials are always about something gross, like farting or something. And the TV shows they ask about are just terrible. "Real Housewives of Atlanta," "Love After Lock-Up," and "Dancing With the Stars"? No thanks.
I also get annoyed when I get kicked out of surveys for no reason. I mean, I'm just a regular person, you know? I put my pants on one leg at a time, just like everyone else. It's frustrating when you're halfway through a survey and then you get booted out. And they don't even tell you why! What's up with that?
Anyway, I'm not really into the whole robo-advisor thing. I mean, I'm not rich or anything, and I don't want to get scammed out of my money. Plus, those things can get hacked or do something stupid. I like to keep my investments simple and conservative. My great-uncle was a con man, and he always said that you have to play on people's emotions to get what you want. That was back in the 1920s, but it's still true today. They call it "getting them under the ether" now.
Overall, I really like MyPoints. It's a good way to earn some extra cash or get some free stuff. The surveys can be annoying sometimes, but they're usually pretty interesting. And the Amazon credit is definitely a nice perk.
MyPoints Review: Frustrating Experience with Earning Points for Shopping
I've been a loyal customer of MyPoints for over 20 years now, but lately, I've been having some serious issues with them. I've been trying to get the points that I earned for shopping through their portal, but they just won't give them to me. It's frustrating because I've stopped taking their surveys a long time ago because they never work, but I still use their portal to shop and earn points. However, 75% of the time, I don't get the points that I earned, even though I went through their portal.
To make matters worse, I have to keep screenshots of everything - the offer, the purchase, and the receipt. Then, I have to wait 60 days before I can even try to get my points. I sent them three purchases that were not credited, and I got replies a week later to re-fill out the information on the site. I did it again, and I got replies two weeks later to re-fill out the information. The site wasn't working at the time, so they didn't get the information I had sent. I did it yet again, and yesterday I got replies to "prove my identity" with their legal identity portal. Seriously, to get a few points from them, I had to prove I'm who I am legally. I uploaded SCANNED documents that I have used repeatedly, but the site couldn't read them. I tried again and again, but it just wouldn't work. Eventually, they told me that my identity couldn't be proven. All of this just for a few points? You need 5,000 points to get a $5 gift card.
I'm really disappointed with MyPoints. I used to love using their portal to shop and earn points, but now it's just a total joke. Their customer service portal is determined not to give anything to its customers, and it's just not worth the time and effort anymore. I would advise anyone thinking of using MyPoints to think twice. Your time is valuable, and this site is just not worth it. I'm going to post this review everywhere so that others can avoid the same frustration that I've experienced.
Mypoints.com Review: A Total Scam - False Promises and No Rewards
I recently tried out Mypoints.com and spent a couple of days filling out surveys and providing my personal information. I was excited to finally redeem my points for a $10 gift card, specifically the Visa prepaid card with cash on it. However, my account was suddenly suspended for no apparent reason. I reached out to their customer service team and after a few emails, they reactivated my account for login. But to my disappointment, I did not receive the Visa card I had requested. Instead, I received an email asking me to submit my photo identification card. I was confused as to why they needed my ID via email, but I complied with their request.
To make matters worse, they also asked me to verify my account with a mobile phone number. And then they claimed that my home address was invalid for the gift card. I was frustrated and felt like I was being scammed. It was a total rip-off. They advertise physical gift cards, but in reality, they only offer E-cards (online).
On their website, they list a Visa Reward Card with cash on it as an option for redemption, but it turns out that they don't actually have any in stock. They emailed me to say that they were out of stock and couldn't send me the card. They also claimed that my address was invalid, even though I receive mail there regularly.
I strongly advise against using Mypoints.com. They make promises that they can't keep and don't deliver on their rewards. It's a total scam. Here's an example of the email messages I received from them:
"Your purchase has been refunded. The item you purchased on 08/06/2019, Visa $10 Reward Card has been refunded. 1,500 Points have been returned to your account. This item has been refunded for one of the following reasons: It is currently out of stock, We are unable to ship due to an unrecognizable address, It was returned by carrier due to an undeliverable address, Your account may need to undergo Mobile Verification."
Save yourself the trouble and avoid Mypoints.com at all costs.
Disappointed with Mypoints: New Website Changes and Poor Customer Service
When I first found Mypoints, I was super excited. I could go on their website and buy stuff from other websites and earn points. I've been a member for a long time and it's been pretty good. But now, things have changed. Mypoints updated their website and it looks different now. They got rid of some of the old stuff that I liked. For example, there used to be a history of every website I visited, but not anymore. Now, there's only a history of sites I visited when I bought something. But if I didn't get my points from a purchase, I can't go back to my history to dispute it because it doesn't show up. Since the website update, I've made at least 3 purchases that would have given me a lot of points. But I haven't gotten any points for those purchases yet. Mypoints keeps telling me to go to my account statement and look at my activity and shopping, but I already know that. I don't have time to go back and dispute my purchases every time I don't get my points. It's a waste of my time to go back and find the date of my purchase from a month ago. I found a blog from someone who used to work for Mypoints and they said that Mypoints laid off a bunch of people recently. Because of that, the staff and work environment is not good. That might explain why I'm having problems. I'm really disappointed with the new website changes and Mypoints. I'll probably stop using them soon. I hope I can find another website like Mypoints used to be.
MyPoints Review: Don't Waste Your Time - Points Not Credited & Unreasonable Rules
I've been a member of MyPoints for a whopping 13 years now. Back in the day, this site was the bee's knees! But let me tell you, things have gone downhill since late 2016. That's when I first noticed that my points weren't being applied to my account for purchases I made through the site. I mean, what gives?
So, I did what any normal person would do and submitted over 16 separate inquiries to customer service. And you know what they had to say? "We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. Please understand that we do not receive any sort of compensation for providing manual credit for offers not tracked by our system. Nor are we able to retroactively receive credit even if proof is provided. We provide this credit as a courtesy in good faith."
Well, that's just great. Thanks for nothing, MyPoints. But wait, there's more! They then went on to list a bunch of rules that I apparently needed to follow in order to get my points. Rules that I had never heard of before. Rules like refraining from using any third party software that may block tracking cookies, completing offers without delay, making sure my information matched on both the offer and my account, not having any other tabs or windows open during my transaction, and not using any additional coupon codes from other sites.
I mean, come on! How was I supposed to know all of this? They change the rules every time I submit an inquiry. And to top it all off, they won't even credit my account through submitted tickets anymore. If I encounter further crediting issues with my account, they won't even help me out. What a bunch of baloney!
So, let me save you all some trouble. Don't waste your time with MyPoints. I'm out of approximately 12,500 points and have shown proof of purchases, but they still won't credit my account. It's just not worth it anymore. Instead, try out sites like e-miles, Rebates, and travel sites. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
MyPoints Review: Deactivated Account Without Explanation
I was a big fan of MyPoints and used it for a variety of activities like surveys, searches, and online purchases. I was pretty active on the site and thought I was earning more points than the average user. But then, out of nowhere, they deactivated my account! I was shocked and confused. When I reached out to them, they told me that I had violated their terms and conditions, but they didn't give me any further explanation. I was really frustrated because I knew I hadn't done anything wrong. I had about 2,000 points saved up when they shut down my account.
I asked them to explain what I had done wrong, but they just kept repeating that I had violated their terms and conditions. I did some digging and found a clause in their terms and conditions that said they could terminate or suspend accounts without warning or notice. This was really disappointing to me because it meant that they could close my account for any reason, even if I hadn't done anything wrong.
I don't think it's fair that they can just shut down accounts without giving any explanation. If you're someone who likes to earn points through MyPoints, I would recommend redeeming your points and closing your account. It's not worth the risk of having your account deactivated without warning.
If you're looking for other sites to earn points through online purchases, I would recommend checking out couponcabin.com. They have great customer service and are really reliable. And if you're interested in taking surveys, e-rewards.com is a good option. Even if you don't qualify for a survey, you can still earn small points. Overall, I think there are better options out there than MyPoints.
MyPoints Review: Rollercoaster Ride of Rewards & Frustration
I've been a member of MyPoints for over a decade now, and I have to say, it's been a rollercoaster ride. When I first joined, it was amazing! I could earn points quickly and easily, and the rewards were worth the effort. But over time, things started to change. It became harder and harder to earn points, and the time it took to do so was just too much. They added so many new regulations that it was almost impossible to keep up with them all.
One of the few ways I could earn points was through surveys, but even that changed. I never seem to qualify for them anymore, and when I do, I spend over 40 minutes answering the same inane questions over and over again, only to suddenly not qualify. It's frustrating, to say the least. And even when I do get points for it, it's hardly worth the time spent. The Ipsos interactive surveys are the worst, and I refuse to do them anymore because you don't even get the five points for trying.
Recently, it seems that Swagbucks and MyPoints have merged, but there was no notice to the members that I know of. Since they revamped the website, offers that don't expire for 7 days come up as expired, and I get nothing for clicking on them. I can't watch videos because of my crappy internet service, so I don't get those points either. The website often won't open an offer because the browser will say the site or the connection is insecure, which is never a good thing.
When I've needed to contact customer service, I was lucky enough to get good service once. But after that, it was mostly canned responses or promises to do something and not following through on the issue. So, I recently cashed in my points and am going to delete my account and look for a better program. MyPoints has become a huge waste of time. It takes four times longer to try and accumulate points, and if your points aren't credited, too bad, because they won't do anything about it.
Overall, I don't recommend MyPoints unless you like being ignored, having your time wasted, waiting 18-24 months to accumulate enough points for a gift card with more than ten bucks on it, and going to a website that has become dysfunctional. It's just not worth it anymore.
MyPoints Review: Great Rewards, But Customer Service Needs Improvement
I've been using MyPoints for a while now and I have to say, I like it. However, there have been a few times where I didn't receive the bonus points promised to me when I bought gift cards. It's frustrating because I feel like I'm jumping through hoops just to get those extra points. I wish they had a phone number for customer service because sometimes it's easier to talk to someone directly.
Recently, I received an email for bonus points with any $50 gift card purchase. I was excited to take advantage of the offer, but when I didn't receive my bonus 100 points, I reached out to MyGiftCardsPlus who advised me to contact MyPoints directly. I submitted a ticket and received a confirmation email that they received my request. An agent got back to me shortly after and asked for a screenshot of my confirmation email that included all the original delivery information. I had to click on the drop-down arrow next to the delivery email address to capture everything they needed. It was a bit confusing, but I managed to figure it out.
I have two accounts with MyPoints, and I wanted to consolidate them into one. I reached out to customer service, and they were able to help me merge my accounts. I was happy with the outcome, but I still wish they had a phone number for customer service.
Overall, I think MyPoints is a great way to earn rewards for things you're already doing online. It's easy to use, and there are plenty of ways to earn points. However, the customer service experience could be improved. It would be nice to have a phone number to call, and the process for getting bonus points could be simplified. Despite these issues, I will continue to use MyPoints because I think the rewards are worth it.
MyPoints Complaints 130
Scam
I've been a member for 13 years. The site used to be great until late 2016. That's when I noticed my points were not applying to my account for purchases I made through the site. I've submitted over 16 separate inquiries and this is what they had to say: "We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. Please understand that we do not receive any sort of compensation for providing manual credit for offers not tracked by our system. Nor are we able to retroactively receive credit even if proof is provided. We provide this credit as a courtesy in good faith.
If you wish to continue using your account, please ensure that you are completing the following:
-Refrain from using any third party software that may block your tracking cookies.
-Offer is completed without delay as the merchants will track you as being from our site for only a short time (usually it tracks as long as you do not close the browser window or navigate away from that merchant's web site.)
-The same information on your Special Offers as your account (ex. Name, Email, and Mailing Address). Please click the offer link before you complete the offer.
-Make sure you do not have have other tabs or windows open at the time of your transaction.
-Refrain from using any additional coupon codes as coupon codes from other sites may disrupt our tracking or be rejected by the merchant
We apologize, but we will no longer be able to credit your account through submitted tickets. If you encounter further crediting issues with your account, we would be unable to assist you with credit."
They change the rules every time I submit an inquiry. Never once, nor anywhere on the site, does it state that you have to make a purchase quickly after clicking through the site. I am out of approximately 12,500 points and have shown proof of purchases. Just use sites like e-miles, Rebates and travel sites. MyPoints is no longer worth it.
Stay away from MyPoints.com
I was an active user for many activities such as surveys, searches, online purchases, etc., and I believe I was earning more points than average users. All of sudden they deactivated my account. When I contacted, they told me they took that action because I violated their T&C with no further explanation. I did not. I was just a very active user. I had about 2,000 points when my account was deactivated by them.
I asked them what violations I made, but they did not explain any and just repeatedly mentioned I violated their T&C. I know why they cannot explain, because I did not perform any unauthorized activities but just was getting many points by legitimate activities.
I reviewed their T&C and found the following clause.
"If we determine in our sole discretion that you have violated these Terms, the Company may in its sole discretion issue you a warning regarding the violation prior to terminating or suspending any or all Accounts you have created (or which are associated with you) using our Services."
And the above clause is followed by
"However, you acknowledge and agree that the Company need not provide you with any warning or notice before terminating or suspending your Account(s) and/or your access to the Prodege Sites and Features and our Services for any reason, at its sole and absolute discretion."
This means they can close your account any time without giving you any reason.
Don't waste your time. If you earn lots of points, they will deactivate your account without any notice nor prior notice.
If you have an account with them, I strongly recommend that you redeem the points and close your account, then stay away from them forever.
If you like to earn points with your online purchases, try recommend couponcabin.com. They have good customer service unlike mypoints.com. If you like to earn points by taking surveys, try e-rewards.com. You can still earn small points even when you are not qualified with a survey.
Love to Give a 0 to MyPoints 9 Year Anniversary Heres a 10th of a Penny. now click our ad
MyPoints is one of those sites that started off great years ago, then lost its way and is useless for a member. I became a member of MyPoints via my sister (yes 9 years ago) and when MyPoints first started it was great. Points for purchases, reading emails, surveys, etc.
However, as the years went by The Bad and Ugly came
Points for purchases are not added or such a hassle with faxing/emailing I never bought anything through them again.
Points for purchases are BETTER at OTHER websites.
Emails dropped from 10 to 5 points (less than a penny). Use to be a couple everyday, now only a few a week.
Surveys offered are better attempted/taken at another website.
Rewards went up to almost double
Various Gift Cards Available minimum is $10 and need about [protected] points depending on which is selected.
MyPoints recently added unlimited videos via pc/tablet, limited to 10 via mobile device. However, they are having a hard time crediting and keeping up with that.
MyPoints started Swappable an app to buy a "discounted" gift card and receive points for doing so. EPIC FAIL buy a $50 card get $1 "cash back" and then pay $1 shipping and handling lol where is the "discount"? I can get a real discount at Monster, Cardpool or Gyft
Customer Service? There isn't any.
The Good:
Redeeming for an EGift Card is super quick (like instant)
Bottom Line: I am not bashing MyPoints, just keeping it real, NOT WORTH IT
Here are 2 screenshots of emails I received from MyPoints (2014 and 2015), Last year, in their defense after posted about "less than a penny for 8 years" I received some points which equated to about $5.
9 years and finally done. I've only stayed because of my GSN account. MyPoints gets a kickback and I get points while playing at GSN. I hope to transfer my account. If not, I will have to give that up too.
Update 11/27: I cannot switch my GSN. I have to make ANOTHER [protected]@GSN, yes its "against their rules" However, if I no long have any ties to a company that company should not reap a forever benefit, especially MyPoints:)
Other Reviews: There is NO ONE who will speak to you via telephone. Terrible English comprehension in email (or they just play stupid? Idk smh)
I predict MyPoints will be a ghost on the web in about 2 years ( I will be back to update:)
Update 2/13/16: MyPoints video watching has been reduced to 10 per day from their "unlimited viewing". This site is on life support and I still cannot wait until they fully shut down.
Is MyPoints Legit?
MyPoints earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%
Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

We looked up MyPoints and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While MyPoints has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 1% of 130 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- Mypoints.com has been known to have PTC (Paid To Click) job offerings, which can be high-risk and potentially fraudulent. These job offerings typically require individuals to click on ads or perform other tasks in exchange for low pay. However, many PTC job offerings are scams that are designed to collect personal information or steal money from unsuspecting victims.
- MyPoints protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
Gift cards
I am not getting anywhere with your scam outfit; I have been trying to tell you that I can't get my code so I can redeem my points, you keep giving me this [censored] about someone through Tremendous that is supposed to handle this, and I keep trying to use this system but it will not take my information so this can be certified.
So, I guess my question is can someone get off of your [censored] so I can get this redemption taken care of? Please, give me a number so I can call you to make this less frustrating to handle.
Claimed loss: Points 4318
Desired outcome: To get the gift card that I want and need.
Your system really sucks..
Using the digital mastercard debit card is a nightmare! There is no way to make contact with MYPOINTS that I have found! If anyone have a phone number for them, will you share it with me...
I've been a my points customer for several months and everything has been working great. I ran into the same code problem that you did but here is the solution! You have to have your PayPal account attached to your MyPoints account in order to receive that code. If you don't have a withdrawal account attached to your MyPoints account, you won't receive that code. I withdraw weekly without any problems as long as my PayPal account is attached. Go to your MyPoints account settings and make sure you have your PayPal account attached. Then go back and withdraw your points. After that it says it will send you a code, enter the code. Then go back to the same withdrawal screen to type in your password again and then it will work. My points is not a scam and it works great, I've been very pleased with it since I started. It's one of the better survey companies out there.
My account has been messed up for weeks!!!
I have always been a daily user of My Points for many years with no problems at all. Close to a month ago I went into my account and after doing my daily point items, I decided to cash in some of my points for a $50. Walmart gift card. I went to the gift card screen, chose the amount I wanted and logged in as required. The sceen popped up showing I wa...

All of a sudden I get on my e-mails and it tells me I need a verification code but it will not send any and I gave it two phone numbers. Tried to contact CS but that was a sham wanted $1 and then $55 monthly for something I don't want or need. I just want to be able to do my survey's and shopping with my points. I havent been on my e-mails for a few days but as you know there is a few holidays coming up and we are all busy. So today I decided to get on emails and its like they unsubscribed me.

Account compromised, points stolen, worst customer service
I found within about 4 hours that someone had hacked into THEIR system and compromised MY credentials. The hacker changed my associated email tied to my account to his own, redeemed my points for an Apple Gift card and then changed my account email back to my original email. I logged an incident through their feedback system, since you cannot call anyone...

I have been using MyPoints for a long time now. You had an offer around about a month ago, that stated if my account signed up for So Fi, I would receive points. A little over a month not 1 damn point for signing up for So Fi. MyPoints, used to give points for reading emails, but you guys hardly ever do that anymore. I stayed, regardless. However if you're not going to honor an offer points. Well, we will be done here, and you guys are no better than Inboxdollars. My account is [protected]@yahoo.com. If I get no response, then so be it. I'll take my grievances to social media. Richard Pittman.

They are banning me for dishonesty
I have been taking surveys for years with no problems and just this past year or so they suddenly have a problem with me being dishonesty which I think it is their dishonesty because I am not dishonest, they don't know me at all! I truthfully think they are cutting costs so they are "firing" their older honest reliable survey takers which makes them big time losers! Because they will be left with lying teenagers who will lie about their age, who live with mommy & daddy who provide for all their needs. Good luck mypoints! I would not recommend you to anyone over 20 yrs old and word will get around for how you treat human beings.
Good riddance to you!
Desired outcome: I would like an apology
Account deactivated
I have been a My Points Contributor for more than 20 years and have redeemed many rewards and participated in many games, promotions and so on.
A few months back I was informed that my account was deactivated ... no explanation, and, to make matters worse, no response to at least 3 emails to customer service, in addition one just sent today.
I also have points to redeem which I cannot access.
banned from surveys
I have been taking surveys with Mypoints for around 15 years. I had no problems but starting last year they were sending me warning about dishonesty, and honestly, I have been completely so honest that I was disqualified from surveys that I could have been qualified if I had lied to them!
Today is September 28, 2023. Earlier this week they completely banned me from any surveys to take. There is no explanation of what I did wrong. The only thing I can think of is that I accidently clicked on the wrong state I live in. It was right next to the state I live in so it was easy to do but it was too late to correct it. I do think if that if I made that mistake 10 years ago, they would have overlooked it.
Desired outcome: I would like to be reinstated and then have an explanation of what I did wrong. A regular job would explain to you what you did wrong and give you another chance to not mess it up.

As of today, July 12, 2023 - the credit of 21,450 points has not been applied to my account. HSN has noted on their site that after 60 days, the points may be deemed invalid! At this point, I have become very frustrated and disappointed with the MyPoints process and application of earned points. Your responses seem very robotic and unsatisfactory. I am still hopeful this issue will be resolved, as I have previously submitted ALL documentation in compliance for this account. Awaiting your answers and credits, as soon as possible. Thank you, Susan ([protected]@netzero.com)

MyPoints Bingo Board: Frustrating Discover Square Needs to Go!
The Bingo board on MyPoints is a real hoot! It's usually a weekly thing where you gotta opt in. But, the last four Bingo boards that I totally did, I had to submit for less points because the Discover square wouldn't credit me. I always did the Discover deal over 100 points on the FIRST day of the bingo board, and seven days later it's still not shaded in. So, I always have a full board BUT, when I submit it, I can't submit a full board because the Discover square is still pending. This is so frustrating and dishonest. They gotta remove the Discover square because it's a problem. I ain't the first to complain about this. I think this is really dishonest and needs to be removed from the board completely. I've been with MyPoints for over 15 years and I love it, but this is the second biggest issue I'm having with their Company. The first is I can't sign into the Mobile App, it keeps saying "not authorized" but Apple Phones can sign into that mobile app and I don't have an Iphone and don't want one either. It's a real bummer, man.
MyPoints Review: A Good Way to Earn Extra Cash, But Be Prepared for Glitches and Frustration
This website, MyPoints, is a pretty good way to earn some extra cash, but there are a few things you should know before you start. First of all, there are a ton of different ways to earn points, which is great, but sometimes it can be overwhelming. And unfortunately, there are often glitches or problems with these different ways to earn points.
For example, you can earn points by submitting receipts for certain purchases, but sometimes the receipts get rejected and you have to go through a manual review process. And let me tell you, this manual review process is a pain in the butt. It often takes days to get a response, and sometimes even when you do get a response, your submission is still rejected. It's frustrating, to say the least.
Right now, there's a BINGO activity going on that ends today. I only need one more square to complete the activity, but my receipt hasn't been accepted yet. I just sent in a photo of the product as proof, but who knows how long it will take to get a response. It's a real bummer.
Now, don't get me wrong, I have received several hundred dollars worth of gift cards over the years I've been using MyPoints. So it's definitely possible to earn some decent rewards. But at this point, I'm not sure if it's worth the time and effort. Dealing with all the glitches and problems can be a real headache, and there are probably better ways to spend my time.
So, if you're thinking about using MyPoints, just be forewarned. It's not always smooth sailing, but if you're willing to put up with some frustration, you can earn some decent rewards.
MyPoints Review: Disappointing Customer Service and Point System Changes
I gotta tell ya, MyPoints ain't all it's cracked up to be. I had a little issue with missing points and a survey that didn't credit me, so I thought I'd give customer service a holler. Big mistake. They gave me a warning and said I'd get fewer surveys if I complained again. What kind of customer service is that? You'd think they'd want to know if the survey company was ripping them off too, since they get paid for our completions. But nope, they just wanna shut you up.
And then they go and change how they award points for videos. Used to be you'd get one point for each video you watched, and they had this caption that said "Enjoy Unlimited Videos!" But then they go and cap it at 75 without telling anyone. What's up with that? And when we asked where our points were, they said too many people were cheating. How do you cheat at watching videos? They're not on endless loops, you gotta click each one and watch the whole thing. Makes no sense.
And don't even get me started on their Facebook page. The customer service there is just plain rude and condescending. I don't know about you, but I don't need that kind of negativity in my life.
Honestly, the longer I'm on MyPoints, the less I like it. I've been checking out Swagbucks more and more lately. Maybe it's time to make the switch.
MyPoints Review: Not Worth Your Time Anymore - Frustrating and Disappointing Experience
I've been using MyPoints for a long time now and I have to say, it's not as good as it used to be. I used to do surveys all the time, but lately I've been getting disqualified halfway through them or not getting any survey emails at all. It's frustrating because I really enjoyed doing surveys and earning points that way.
However, I still use MyPoints to earn points by clicking on emails and making purchases through the site. But even that has become a bit of a hassle. Sometimes I don't get credited for my purchases and when I try to contact a representative, I don't get a response. It's happened more often lately and it's really disappointing.
The only way to contact a MyPoints representative is to send a request through the website. You'll get an auto email reply with a ticket number and then you have to wait 2-3 days for a response. It's not the most efficient way to get help and it can be frustrating when you're waiting for a response.
Last year, I made a purchase during the holiday season when MyPoints was running a bonus points promotion. I was really excited to get a lot of points for that purchase, but unfortunately, I didn't get any points at all. I sent two requests to MyPoints representatives about the missing points, but I never got a response. It was really disappointing and made me question whether or not I should continue using MyPoints.
Overall, I would say that MyPoints is not worth your time anymore. It's frustrating to not get credited for your purchases and to not get any response from representatives. I'm considering switching to ebates because I've heard good things about it. Don't waste your time with MyPoints!
MyPoints Review: A Rollercoaster of Points and Frustration
I've been using MyPoints for a while now, and I gotta say, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. At first, I was pretty excited about the site and all the ways I could earn points. But as time went on, I started to notice some serious flaws.
First off, the surveys. Oh boy, the surveys. I can't tell you how many times I've spent 10-15 minutes answering questions, only to be told that I'm not qualified. It's frustrating, to say the least. And it's not like the qualifying questions are even that difficult - I keep getting the same ones over and over again, and I still can't seem to make the cut. It's enough to make you want to pull your hair out.
The videos are a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, some of them are actually pretty interesting. But on the other hand, you have to watch a ton of them just to earn a few measly points. And sometimes, one of the videos will be removed or unavailable, which means you don't get any credit for that set. It's a real bummer.
And don't even get me started on the customer service. It's pretty bad, to be honest. I've had a few issues with my account, and every time I try to contact them, it's like pulling teeth. They're slow to respond, and when they do, it's usually not very helpful.
All that being said, I'm still using MyPoints. Why, you ask? Well, I'm just shy of the required points for a gift card, and I don't want to give up now. But once I cash out, I'm definitely going to think twice about sticking around.
Overall, I'd say that MyPoints is a bit of a mixed bag. There are some good things about it, but there are also some serious flaws. If you're thinking about signing up, I'd recommend proceeding with caution.
MyPoints Review: A Disaster - Lost 65,000 Points and No Customer Service Help
My experience with MyPoints has been nothing short of a disaster. I had been saving up my points for a long time, and had finally accumulated over 65,000 points that I was planning to redeem. However, in December of 2019, my account suddenly disappeared without any warning or explanation. I tried to contact customer service, but all I got were automated responses that were of no help at all.
After many attempts, I was finally able to get back into my account, but to my dismay, all my points were gone. It was as if they had vanished into thin air. I was devastated, as I had spent years making purchases and accumulating points, only to have them disappear overnight. It was a huge blow to my trust in the company, and I felt completely helpless.
To make matters worse, when I tried to contact customer service for assistance, I was told that I would have to pay $5 with a credit card just to speak to a real human being. This was unacceptable to me, as I had already lost so much money and points, and I didn't want to risk losing even more. It was clear that the problem was on their end, but they were unwilling to help me resolve it.
In the end, I decided that I could no longer trust MyPoints, and I would not recommend them to anyone. It's simply not worth the risk of losing all your hard-earned points and gift card values. I believe that this company is on the verge of folding, and I wouldn't be surprised if they disappear altogether in the near future.
My advice to anyone considering using MyPoints is to use other sites instead, and to cash in your points as soon as you can. Don't make the same mistake I did by trusting this company with your hard-earned points and money. It's just not worth it.
MyPoints Review: Average Rewards Program with Room for Improvement
I've been using MyPoints for over 8 years now and I'm still sticking around. I'm not sure if that's because I'm too lazy to switch to another rewards program or if MyPoints is actually effective. Either way, I'm still earning points and redeeming rewards.
However, I have noticed that over the years, the points required to redeem rewards have almost doubled while the points awarded for purchases have remained the same. That's not cool. It's also a bit of a hassle to have to click through their site to earn points on purchases. Other rewards programs have the option to attach a debit or credit card that is automatically monitored for qualifying purchases, but MyPoints has yet to add that feature. So, if you forget to go through MyPoints before making a purchase on Amazon, you're out of luck.
Recently, I received an email from MyPoints asking me to rate their site. The email had three options: "like them, use more than once weekly," "like them, casual user, less than weekly," and "don't like Ryan's." When I clicked on the second option, this review site popped up. However, when I clicked on the third option, the review site did not pop up. It seems like MyPoints is trying to manipulate their review results, and that's not cool.
Despite that, MyPoints is an average rewards program. It's not the best, but it's not the worst either. It gets the job done and I'm still earning rewards, so I can't complain too much.
MyPoints Review: Poor Customer Service and Difficulty Earning Points
I've been a member of MyPoints for a long time now, and I used to love the benefits that came with it. However, things have changed a lot recently, and it's become much more difficult to earn points. I've noticed that some of the big merchants that used to partner with them are no longer doing so, which is a shame.
One of the biggest problems I've had with MyPoints recently is their customer service. It's really not very good at all. If you're trying to verify missing points, you'll have to go through a confusing process that feels like a real nightmare. And if you try to contact customer service, they'll just direct you back to that same confusing process. I've had several Kohl's purchases that didn't get credited to my account, even though Kohl's confirmed that I made the purchases. When I spoke to Irene L. at MyPoints, she was incredibly unprofessional. She made a lot of excuses and passed the buck, but when I asked to speak to a manager or someone higher up, she just said "I am the manager." She didn't offer to let me speak to anyone else or give me an email address to contact them. It was really frustrating.
If you're thinking about joining a points reward program, I would recommend looking at www.upromise.com instead. They even let you build up points that can be used for college tuition for your children or grandchildren. I've decided to stop using MyPoints altogether. It's a shame, because it used to be a great service, but like so many other things, they lure you in and then take away the good stuff in the end.
About MyPoints
One of the key features of MyPoints is its versatility. Users can earn points in a variety of ways, which makes it easy to accumulate points quickly. For example, users can earn points by shopping at popular retailers like Walmart, Target, and Amazon. They can also earn points by taking surveys, signing up for free trials, and even by printing and using coupons.
Another great feature of MyPoints is its user-friendly interface. The website is easy to navigate, and users can quickly find the activities they want to participate in. The program also offers a mobile app, which makes it easy to earn points on the go.
Perhaps the most appealing aspect of MyPoints is the rewards. Users can redeem their points for a variety of rewards, including gift cards to popular retailers, cashback through PayPal, and even travel rewards. The program also offers daily deals and discounts, which can help users save money on their purchases.
Overall, MyPoints is a great rewards program that offers users a variety of ways to earn points and redeem rewards. With its user-friendly interface and versatile earning options, it's no wonder why so many people have joined the program over the years.
