While reviewing my account and moving a card to a wallet where I could use it. My remaining access was blocked. Effectively locking up $500 worth of MasterCards. Of course you know we will have low resolution within 48 business hours. That means like 4 days. I don't have high hopes. The likely outcome is that there are several law firms that are willing to sue them for any amount because they're going to get their own pay by making them and they're going to get you your money. Because we have to sue corporations these days to get what's owed to us. This is not something new they've been going through this for 3 years according to everything I've read which means that they just have crummy programmers. So I'm willing to give them 72 hours to get my money freed up for me and after that I'm willing to let a lawyer do it for me instead for free. I figure if I'm going to lose the money I might as well cause them a headache.
Desired outcome: Resolution within 72 hours. Alternatively sending out physical cards to my home.

Customer Service stated the issue would be rectified within 48 hours and I am still locked out of my account. This is becoming very frustrating and I need access to my cards. On July 12th in the morning I lost access to my account. Impossible to login, only getting this message:

I have called two times since the first time the agent mentioned they were having issues with their system and I should wait 2 hours. Then I called back and the agent opened a ticket and said the problem will be fixed within 24 hours.

Hello, I am having the same issue and no solution yet.
They fixed it. I was able to access the account once and it got blocked again. This seems like a game to me. I am not sure if they are purposely trying to make it difficult for everyone so people can’t use the money!
Anyway, please call them, open a ticket. I'm not sure they're aware regarding the dimensions of the problem they have.
Interesting, I was suspecting something related to geofencing, since I'm outside of US. But I used an ip whois service on the Internet and I see your IP is from Tampa, Florida. So, the same problem for the US citizens.
Still, it's for sure a problem of their poorly designed captcha system.
I suspect they had like an attack so they blocked all the customers. May be efficient from a business point of view (not losing money on the short term), but usually security done right blocks the bad actors but is almost invisible for the legitimate users. You don't just lock everything and drop the key in the ocean.
Prepaid mastercard
Transaction declined. All info blocked out with dashes when I log in now. Yep. Must be locked again. Horrible company. Horrible cards I am in Canada at the moment and there is a $1.89 USD balance left. Tried doing $2 canadian since usd is worth a lot more (1.89 usd should be worth around $2.50 cad.) Fine print says 2% foreign currency fee so it must be allowed... hmmm. Cant use outside of USA afterall?

While trying to log in to my account, I got this message:

I contacted support, the guy said he escalated the issue and it should resolve in 24h. In the meantime, they updated my password and sent it over to me, marking my case as "resolved".
BUT the case is not resolved, since I'm still blocked with the new password. This is not account related, but rather a very poor captcha system that just blocked lots of users, as I'm reading in this thread.
It's such a shame that it takes so much to resolve an such an outage.
I'll post an update here regarding the status of my request, because I reopened the ticket.

After going back and forth with their customer service, they said they "resolved", by offering me these "tips":
"Let us inform you that we received your request regarding your profile access, we recommend the following to log in.
-Use a regular computer, laptop, or desktop.

-Try up to 8 hours after last attempt.
If after trying these steps you are still having issues, do not hesitate to reply to this email.

In reality, I tried a lot of browsers and computers, but still no luck.
I guess that legal action should be taken against these scammers, as It's almost a week since they locked me out of my account and couldn't offer a solution.
I understand errors may happen, but this looks to me more like a scam than an error.

This is a major issue. I have started the process of emailing the president of the company to bring awareness and helpful to get some real results.
This is happening to me too, and almost 2500.00 in cards on my account... its been 10 days since I have had access to them.

Yesterday, July 11th, 2023 i was using my prepaid center to check balance in one of my virtual cards, and suddenly my account got locked, i have few virtual cards in there that im not able to access in any other way, i checked contact us, but its just about the cards, doesnt say anything about the account.

Tried generating a virtual card without an account, but I got blocked again while retrieving the card details.
Tried creating another account, no luck.
I also got this error yesterday. Seems that they have a problem with their captcha system / geofencing.
Sent a complaint, waiting for a reply. For the moment, they reset my password, but it still doesn't work, so I reopened the ticket.
Virtual Gift Card from Busch
Received 2 rebate cards. One downloaded fine and was able to put into my Wallet. The other kept saying "Could not download. Check with Issuer." I called and was on hold over 30 minutes. Was told cards ending in 7746 were still being processed. To wait 24 hours. I waited 72 hours and still got the same message. I called again and now they say "You have been trying to add card too many times". Try to add to Wallet on a different device. Like everybody has 2 phones. Everytime you call you get the runaround. Different excuse, blah blah blah. I told her to just send be an actual card in the mail and she informed me it would be $3.00. So I lose out on $3.00 because They can not get their act together. Seriously. In the future, I will get an actual card. Hopefully it will work. Although ready all the complaints, I have my doubt. Say away from Blackhawk.

I received this card as part of a settlement, I registered the card and tried to use it but it was declined several time by Amazon, however when I went on the card website it has the funds for the attempted purchases pending. But Amazon said it was declined. When I called the card customer service line, its only preprogrammed automated selections. The is no live customer service to assist on the customer service line. Meanwhile the purchases still show pending on their website but Amazon said they were declined. I want my money $85.00

finally reached somebody that helped. turns out you cannot link this card to myprepaid center, you only can check your balance with the link provided. the card is not taken everywhere. Jose did help my get this straight, ill try to use it.

I received rewards from my health provider for getting checkups. I was given several different gift cards to choose from. So I chose the prepaid visa. It said it was activated on 07/01. Prepaid Master card money was used which I don't recognized. How to stop the transection payment or get the money back to my card.
I got a prepaid Master card with card # [protected].
I have it activate via a specific QR code web site come with the card. The 1st web site coming up asking to provide details card informations. After provided all necessary information. I didn't get the Confirmation of the card being activated or not. So I go back to the QR code web site again. This time the site asking with icon card activation. I follow the step and provided the card information again. The site with feed back that my card has been activated. Also showing the total amount in the card..
I use the card 3 days after card activation. I found that the amount of money mostly being gone. In other word, the money was stolen by someone. I would like to know is it possible to stop the payment and get money back to my card? Or. Void this prepaid card and send me a new one.

Rebate card
I received a rebate card from them through Kohl's, activated it, thought it was all good. Tried to use it at multiple locations, over multiple months, always was declined. Tried calling never got through. Tried emailing them never got a response. Card has now just expired without ever reaching them. Is there a way to get my money back? Or a replacement card? Devalued Card before expiration date + No Customer Service
I was issued a pre-loaded debit card for a settlement. I have a digital card with a clear expiration date of December 2024 yet the card has a fee last month for non-use. There was no statement about needing to use the card before the expiration or any fees with use (or non-use)
When I tried to contact customer service there was NO way to actually get through. It's an automated system that ends up in the same place everytime telling you to hang up if you are done or go back to the main menu. There is no email address to respond.
They absconded with my money owed to me from the settlement. I should check and see if other people from the class action experienced the same thing and start a new one, with a new defendant.
Desired outcome: Refund the money. And have an actual customer service. State any fees or restrictions at the time of issuance OR clearly print the expiration date and abide by it. So many options to be ethical and none were used.

I have been trying to use my card the last 2 weeks because it expires tonight. I've tried to use it at Walmart and target. Keep getting the answer the card service won't release the money. I received this card from my insurance for doing the right thing. But you aren't, by not letting me get the money. I've also called repeatedly and went on the website to find out what retailers. Ceedit Card $100
After receiving this credit/debit card as a rebate (Chevrolet), I followed the instructions in order to activate the card. Never used until for the first time I couldn't pay. I called the number in the rear of the card and the automatic system said I have a negative balance (!). Furthermore, I cannot access my account anymore, log-in is not possible even changing several times the password. Nothing seems working...And, of course I cannot contatc anybody in order to find a solution for any of these issues.

Unable to use my card
I registered at your site, and purchased the $100 MASTER CARD to use it for online services in 16 June. I have $80+ remaining balance on the card . So what happened is that I've tried to use a 80$ card on a website where it got declined (I had previously used same cards like these before and it worked fine). Then I tried another website and had the same issue it again got declined.
Later on I tried to use it on PayPal or Google play and its the same issue it gets declined and now I'm sure the card is blocked by your system for some unknown reason. Now I'm stuck with a 80$+ card that's of absolutely no use.
I tried 3+ different stores and all of them now decline. There is no listed way to contact Support for help.

The verification code NEVER comes to my email like it says it will. I even tried to reset the password and you quessed it no email ever comes. They have my gift cards and blocked me.
It is working again for me. No news from their customer service, but just a random guy on reddit saying it's working. I tested and seems like normal operations resumed. I took photos of all my card details just in case and i'm gonna exchange all the balance to amazon coupons.
Been over a week and support tells me they working on it. now I have lost over $800 in cards. I plan to sue and to make sure company I go thru sues..
Chris, I am almost sure you must activate the physical cards on their crappy website upon receiving them. You'll end up in the same situation.
I have about $1700 locked up on my account and cannot access my funds because of this issue. Chris please let me know of you have a great lawyer. I’m willing to fight with you and go after this company.

i anderstand they need some time to resolve a major outage. but their message should be like: " we are sorry, we are aware of the issue, but we're on it! our developers are working on fixing it and it should take us about X hours/days".
but, when after a 3 days waiting, you tell me i should use another browser and mark the ticket as resolved, you either are stupid or a scammer.
they deserve being sued.
All of us are having the same exact issues. They already know the problem but they are not being honest. Something is fishy!
