Login Issues and Prepaid Card Usage
For days I have been unable to login to my account online as it keeps saying "There was an error signing in. Please try again later.", and neither can I use half of my prepaid virtual mastercards as well. Even when I try to add them to my apple wallet, it still doesn't work.
It used to work so well last week but now it doesn't, especially when I contacted support about this, they weren't too helpful / cooperative with the situation.
Desired outcome: Access to my account and full usage of my prepaid mastercards on the platform and on my wallet.
Stolen money
This my prepaid center card company is a fraud. I called 2 weeks ago about my $135 pre paid card was used and it's wasn't me who used it..called again today and was told someone use it online merchant from Japan. when I spoke with someone else again I was told to bad we can't do anything it's past the 60 days..again I stated I didn't know $130 out of the $135 was stolen..after some not very nice words from me I did get a supervisor on the line who will send it back down to be reviewed..but I don't have a lot of hope..let's see in 3-5 days if anyone will help

Bought the $100 mastercard that I cannot use
I registered at your site, and purchased the $100 MASTER CARD to use it for online services back in March and then didn't seem to need it much. And now when I need it, I came across the new updated list which had blocked my country from being allowed to use the CARD.

I can't log in to the site and I'm denied credit card payment
First, I can't log in to the site for now. If you write an email and password to log in and sign in (There was an error signing in. Please try again)
It says. I want to log in and see my card balance.
Second, I received a visa virtual card from Delta Air Lines in May.
So if I try to make a payment on Amazon or other online shopping sites, it keeps getting rejected, so I can't make a payment.
PayPal registration is also rejected, but it is not registered.
Desired outcome: I want to be logged in to the site and my visa virtual card can be used.

Unable to access my account or register a new card
I cannot access my account even after having reset my password a number of times to see if that would work. There seems to be no way of contacting a support desk person for general issues like this.
The issue began when I was redeeming an additional card. I seem to have been able to redeem, since further attempts informs me that said card is already redeemed, but I have not been able to register it, nor have I received an email providing further instructions, and since I am unable to access my account, I cannot register it there either, or establish if it was automatically registered.

Discover prepaid card
I received a $35 prepaid Discover card from my school district for 20 years of service. The card's website gives a list of about 50 stores that accept the card. Only about 1/2 of those are anywhere near my home and then only about 1/2 of those have any items that I would wish to purchase. The merchants that accept this card are listed on the MyPrepaidCenter.com website. I picked up 2 items I wanted to purchase and tried to use my gift card. It was declined. We spent 30 minutes trying to reach someone at the number listed on the back of the card, but could never reach a human. I canceled the sale.
Once home, I tried to find another number on the MyPrepaidCenter website and their parent company, Pathward, with no success.
I will notify the school district to make sure they are aware of the scam they paid for.
Desired outcome: Please send me an updated list of merchants that accept the card. If they are unable to do that, issue me a card that works.
I was finally able to use the BHN $35 gift card. (After contacting Recognation, Pathward, and Blackhawk) Here’s a synopsis of my journey: 1st attempt: ULTA which was, and still is, listed on the Recognation website as a business that accepts the card. This card was declined there. 2nd attempt: Sephora (in a Kohl’s department store). Sephora is on the Recognation and the https://www.myprepaidcenter.com/page/rn-discover website as a business that accepts the card. The card was declined. 3rd attempt: JC Penney. The card was declined. I contacted BHN and Recognation about these attempts and to find a solution to the problem https://www.myprepaidcenter.com/page/rn-discover 4th attempt: Back to Sephora. BHN responded with an explanation that my card was declined because it was run for over the gift card amount. This is not true as outlined in the email below. 5th attempt: I received an email from BHN explaining that I could now use the card at JC Penney, so I tried to use it online and it was declined. 6th attempt: After speaking to a BHN representative, I was told that the card was declined at Sephora because it was not a stand-alone store. The card could now be used at the JC Penney closest to my house because it has now been added to the list of approved JC Penney locations. He also outlined the specific way the card had to be used so that it was not declined. If I had any trouble using the card at JC Penney, I was to call the number on the back of the card and follow the prompts in order to report the card was “lost or stolen” in order to speak to a representative. I went back to JC Penney and explained to the manager the specific way the card had to be run in order for it to work. This time it was approved. The fact that it took this much effort to use the Blackhawk Network gift card should raise eyebrows. If I hadn’t been on summer break, I would have thrown the card away. This was a ridiculous amount of work for this item. I hope to never receive another “gift” of this nature again.

I am currently having issues receiving the information for my card. I keep trying to get a verification code to get the actual card information so I can use it online and it just says we can not send you your code right now but it will still send the code. Sometimes it will even let me get to the page where I enter the code and I’ll enter the code it sent me and it’ll say incorrect code and then the page will freeze.
Prepaid card
I ordered contact lens and received a $135 rebate prepaid visa card. It's valid through 11/23. I have NEVER USED IT till this weekend. I went to buy glasses and the guy told me I only had $5 remaining. I tried using the website but it wouldn't tell me the transactions. So I called customer service and the rep stated that back on 12/24/22 it was used at a sports site called apdoit and $130 was use. I don't order anything sports related online. We did a dispute for me and I just and email that they will not issue me a new card. This is ridiculous I never use the card. And you can't use the website so see the transactions. I'm very disappointed and will never use them again

Unable to use card
I have 400+ remaining balance on the card before my Apple Wallet said this card can no longer be used. I tried 3 different stores and all of them now decline. There is no listed way to contact Support for help. I’ve tried to calling all their listed customer service lines without any success of talking to a live person. The card doesn’t indicate correct when I type it in on their phone system but I can see the remaining balance on the site.

Virtual prepaid mastercard (blocked probably)
Hello there,
Recently I redeemed a virtual prepaid mastercard on your website which was given to me as reward. I've previously used multiple cards like these but rarely ever ran into issues. So what happened is that I've tried to use a 50$ card on a website where it got declined (I had previously used same cards like these before and it worked fine). Then I tried another website and had the same issue it again got declined. Later on I tried to use it on google play and its the same issue it gets declined and now I'm sure the card is blocked by your system for some unknown reason. Now I'm stuck with a 50$ card that's of absolutely no use. Please help me out as soon as possible and I've tried to contact you guys via emails and haven't gotten any respone yet.

Visa Debit Gift Cards
Hi got two $50 USD gift cards from myprepaidecenter.com in late December 2022 and did not realize that they expired in April 2023. Really scummy for the company to have a expiry date of less than 6 months for these gift cards, it feels predatory and I would stay away from this company at all costs. There is also no way of getting the gift card value back (i.e. the card may expire, but the gift card value does not). We are very disappointed.

Prepaid Visa Debit Card
Got a prepaid VISA debit card from them as compensation from Delta for denied boarding. It expired 7 months after issue. I missed that this expired so fast. Called them and they basically were of no help. Told them federal law said debit cards have to have 5 year expiration. They said first that I was wrong, and second that it was not a debit card, it was a gift card. Same rules applies to gift cards. Asked where the money then went, they then got dodgy and said that they don't know.
Really poor service and seems to work to find ways around the laws granting 5 years on debit and gift cards, Plus as I am sure this is not an uncommon occurrence, their employees should be well versed in what the rules are, and how things work.
I expect zero resolution from them. Hopefully Delta will have better customer service.

Prepaid Mastercard
our company had about $20,000 worth of Prepaid mastercards for promotions. half of them were used last year and then our promotions were put on hold until now. Went to use the remaining cards - over $8000 of prepaid Mastercards - only to find out that they expired Jan 2023. We had no idea these had an expiry date of only a year and when contacting the company they declined to reinstate the cards due to the fact these were called "rebate cards" and they can do nothing about it. I thought it was ILLEGAL to put an expiration date on gift cards nowadays? VERY disgusted with this company and lack of help in this regard. i see this happens quite often with them though - they get the money and don't care about the customers.
Desired outcome: i would like them to reimburse or reissue the prepaid Mastercards - even if it is half or a quarter of my $8000, just want some money back for this stupid 1 year expiration date!!!!

Locked account
I went to login to my account on MyPrepaidCenter.com, first attempt didn't work, so I went and requested my username, and then to change my password. I received a successfully changed password message and then proceeded to login to my account, first attempt failed, second attempt failed, third attempt typed it in really slow to ensure it was correct still failed. Eventually I am locked out of my account. Since my card is a virtual card that is listed within the actual site I can't call any cardholder service. I am unable to activate my card and use it.

Got a prepaid visa as a gift. We didn’t use it right away. It said it expired in 3 years so we figured we had a lot of time. We went about a year after receiving it to make a purchase on some things we wanted, to find that the card was declined. We went online and registered the card and found out that It only had 4.49$ on the card left from 500.00$. Someone had stolen the money before we could use the card. How they could is beyond me when we just registered it. We phoned the help number 2x. to find out that VISA doesn’t stand behind there word. They have a guarantee of 2 months after the purchase has been made and then they don’t do anything to help the consumer out. Not only are we out $500.00 but the gift giver is also upset that he was robbed. Why let people buy these cards if they are not secure for the public. This policy needs to be changed. This company is a complete scam. There is a transaction I need to dispute because they let someone use my card without my permission. However, they make it completely impossible to get through the process. Their dispute process says you can do it online but it does not work. They also say you can call, but when I call I get a person I can't hear because it sounds like he is at the biggest party in the world. I asked if he could go somewhere so I could hear him, but instead he hung up on me. I got ahold of someone else, but they want me to email them a copy of my drivers license.
Now I guess I'm just out of money. No one should ever use this company.

My prepaid card center
This card was sitting on my desk until I figured out what I wanted to spend it on. The card was worth $75.00. That equates to a job working for a full 8.00 hours at 10 dollars an hour. I didn't worry about the card expiring because the wording on the card read that the funds never expires. My card expired 03/23 because I took a trip out of town and just got back. The card has a detail schedule stating that you will be charged $3.95 per month after expiration. I can't comprehend how a company could take advantage of people without accountability.
Lastly, it's not about the money, it's about the principle. If an attorney is reading over this statement, I will pay up to $1000.00 dollars to get my funds back on my card. But I really want to make sure this type of practice doesn't claim another victim.
Desired outcome: Funds return to my card minus the 1 month service charge like originally stated on the card to my understanding.

Gift Card / Rebate
I am unable to sign into my account at myprepaidcenter.com. There's no help to be found. The gift card that was sent a part of a rebate will not activate. It gives an error message saying we cannot activate this card. So I can't sign into the account and I cannot activate this card. Is this company legit or some random scam to make people think they'll get a rebate?

Pre paid cards
I received 2 cards and activated both . They are showing a zero balance. This happened once before and I had to dispute the charges. I finally got a new card but it TOO has a zero balance. Stolen money

I have the same problem. I opened a ticket with them, after two weeks they closed it saying it is resolved but it is NOT resolved! I reopened the ticket. I was wondering if your problem ever got solved and if so, how? Thanks!
