Stay AWAY from Nalley BMW of Decatur!!!
STAY AWAY FROM NALLEY BMW of DECATUR!
The Service dept is HORRIBLE! Exactly a year ago I took my 2022 X3 to get its 1st maintaince service. Timothy McGinley the "service advisor" NEVER told me or recommended a wheel alignment.
A year later on 9/28/23 I took my car again for the oil/filter change. This time the "service advisor" was Desmond Roberts. Desmond was very unfriendly and racist. He told me my car needed BRAND NEW TIRES LOL. I said the tires look perfectly fine to me and he said based on BMW standards you need NEW TIRES. I told him that nobody told me a year ago about the wheel alignment. I asked him if we can go ahead and do a wheel alignment now and he flat out denied me the service. He said it wasn't worth doing because my car needs New tires. He said I should buy a least 2 new tires and then do the alignment. He also didn't mention that I needed a new wiper, just like they never mentioned the wheel alignment last year.
I decided to get a second opinion from 2 reputable tire companies. Both agreed that my tires are in good condition and all I needed was a wheel alignment to make sure the tires will last another 2 years!
Desmond Roberts lied to me telling me that I have to buy brand new tires, when in actuality the tires are in good condition. He let me go knowing that my car was in need of a wheel alignment jeopardizing my safety. He DENIED me the alignment service because I didn't want to buy brand new tires on the spot! The lack of customer service from a luxury car dealership is ridiculous! I will never recommend Nalley BMW of Decatur and I will NEVER buy a car from them.
I wouldn't recommend bringing your car to Nalley BMW of Decatur for repairs or buying from them
I wouldn't recommend bringing your car to Nalley BMW of Decatur for repairs or buying from them. They don't seem to prioritize customer satisfaction and only care about making money. The quality of their repair work is also subpar.
I had a pretty interesting experience with this dealership
I had a pretty interesting experience with this dealership. The people there are great, but when it comes to billing or warranty problems, things get a bit tricky. It seems like they only care about customers who are buying new cars, getting their cars serviced, ordering vehicles, leasing, or buying certified pre-owned cars. I recently had an issue with a warranty approval that was denied, and I thought it was resolved when I coordinated with the service department and scheduled an appointment for February 12th to fix it.
When I arrived for my appointment on a busy Saturday, the same problem started all over again. I went to the advisor's desk, and he told me that he was just given this appointment without any background information. He then asked me why I came in today and what the problem was, as if he had no idea about my previous issue. This made me feel like they didn't really care about my problem, and it also explains why I had to wait for four hours for a one-hour issue that involved installing and removing parts last week. It's like they're treating me as if I never had an issue before, and the advisor seemed completely unaware of anything. As a customer, this makes me feel like I should only get service or assistance from Nalley BMW if I bought a car from them, because they don't seem willing to provide the same level of service to those who haven't made a purchase. You can find more details in the Yelp reviews, and they're not just rumors.
I went to an appointment to see a Cadillac on 7/12 at this dealership and was left waiting for almost an hour without anyone helping me
I went to an appointment to see a Cadillac on 7/12 at this dealership and was left waiting for almost an hour without anyone helping me. They were about to close. I left and called on 7/15 about the same Cadillac and they said it was available. I drove for an hour and 45 minutes in traffic to see the car and took it for a test drive. I really liked the car and started the financing process. I told them what payment I was looking for. They checked my credit many times and had a few approvals with high interest rates. I told them the rate seemed too high and asked if they could call to negotiate the rate. They said the service manager was gone and they were closing, but he would make some calls in the morning and call me right away so I could decide. I asked if I should come back when they opened and they said no, just wait for the call. I never got a call, but I got an email with the offer and agreed to the negotiated interest rate and payment. I called the salesman (***) and told him I would take the car and he said okay, he would get it ready. A few minutes later, the manager called and said the car was sold that morning. I told him I had already started financing and agreed to buy the car. He basically said too bad, the car was sold at 10 am that morning, which is when I said I would come by when they opened. This business checked my credit 13 times for no reason and now I have inquiries on a car I couldn't get because of their shady business and bad customer service. Take your business elsewhere!
I bought an X5 BMW on 2/27 at a local dealer in Decatur Ga
I bought an X5 BMW on 2/27 at a local dealer in Decatur Ga. My credit score was decent (694), but the managers said I could only qualify for a 6.39 Apr. I recently bought a 2021 Dodge Ram truck and qualified for a 0% Apr. I traded in a vehicle that the manager said I owed more on than it was worth, about -4700.00. My complaint is that the new vehicle cash price was 61544.00. I was supposed to get rebates of 8000 and 500 for military and loyalty programs. The manager didn't explain the details, just pushed papers for me to sign. He kept saying they needed to make the sale because it was the end of the month. When I signed the paperwork, I couldn't read it and the guy didn't explain what I was signing. When I got home and looked at the documents, I only saw a 5000 rebate applied to the car. I will call your corporate office tomorrow and the local dealer where I bought the car (Nalley BMW Of Decatur) Deal #XXXXXX Cust # XXXXXX. I'll try to get the contract corrected or return the car before I file a lawsuit against the dealer for misleading information and taking advantage of a military Veteran discount.
I went to the dealer to use the truecar certificate, but still got the run-around. I spoke with my bank and got approved, but the people at the dealership wouldn't redo the financial deal (according to the manager, it's a good deal). Why would I want a 6.3 when I got approved for a 3.1? I will talk to Ga. ComplaintsBoard.com and the people at truecar, along with the attorney who was copied on the email I sent in the complaint. The craziest part is that while the finance guy was saying all the right things about discounts, when I saw the papers I had signed the next morning, there was no 8000 discount allowed and the True car amount of 3250 wasn't adjusted. Just deal with your own finance company and stay away from Nalley (all Nalleys). Bad practices, it's all about the sale, not the customer.
My daughter took her X1 to Nalley about 2 weeks ago cuz it was making a loud grinding noise
My daughter took her X1 to Nalley about 2 weeks ago cuz it was making a loud grinding noise. She had her car checked by 2 other mechanics before, but we decided to go with the dealership's diagnostic to make sure we fixin' the right problem. Both mechanics (and a family friend who knows cars) said her brakes were fine, and the problem might be the undercarriage or differential. But when we went to Nalley, they said one of the problems was with the brakes. We let the dealership fix the car 'cause we thought they had the best tools, technology, and expertise. But after my daughter paid the $1,500 *** and got her car back, the mechanic warned her that she'd still hear the noise, which means he knew they didn't fix it! Bein' outta state, my husband had several conversations with ***, but it was useless. Later, he offered us $800 off the $3,400 estimate to fix the original problem we thought we were payin' for. Now, we're out $1,500, a big chunk of which was for brakes that didn't need fixin'. I ain't trustin' them with another penny, so their discount don't mean nothin'. I wanna upload a video of the grindin' sound the car is still makin'. Everyone needs to hear it for themselves. I wish we paid more attention to all the negative reviews on Yelp, Cars.com, ComplaintsBoard.com, and other sites. Don't let them star ratings fool ya. They ain't for the service department! There's lots of unhappy customers, which should make ya think twice 'bout gettin' your car serviced at Nalley. I'm gonna post my experience on every review site I can find, so I can warn people 'bout the disappointment and frustration they'll probably face. Nalley knows they're wrong, or they wouldn't have offered us an $800 discount (and I got an email from them to prove it). They also wouldn't have tried to calm down or manipulate my daughter by warnin' her that the loud noise still there. So be careful, y'all.

I bought a certified pre-owned car from Nalley BMW of Decatur in February
I bought a certified pre-owned car from Nalley BMW of Decatur in February . In January 2022, I brought it in for regular service. They informed me that there were extensive repairs needed. When I asked if these problems were taken care of when the car was certified, they said no. Unfortunately, the warranty didn't cover these repairs, so I would have to pay for them myself. It's frustrating because I've only driven the car for less than 10k miles. I feel like I was sold a lemon, and the dealership didn't fulfill their part of the deal by selling me a faulty certified pre-owned vehicle.
I sold my BMW 328i to Nalleys on May 26 and still haven't got my money
I sold my BMW 328i to Nalleys on May 26 and still haven't got my money. I agreed with the appraiser Carmilo to pick up my check the next week. It's been 11 days and I'm really upset and disappointed. I'm a lady and I feel like they don't care about this. Carmilo called later and said Corp mailed my check. He offered to cancel it and ask for another check to be sent to the dealer. I shouldn't have to wait anymore. This is not good business practice. I tried to contact the manager but no call back.
After my visit to Nalley (didn't even make it 10 miles off the lot), I got a diagnostic from BMW South Atlanta
After my visit to Nalley (didn't even make it 10 miles off the lot), I got a diagnostic from BMW South Atlanta. This diagnostic found out that my oil housing filter was never changed during my service appointment, where I got an oil change. BSAmade it very clear that the oil housing filter needs to be changed with every oil change. I attached a link to the report where mechanics from BSA explicitly say that the housing was missing, and the oil filter was not replaced. The housing was completely missing when the mechanics at BSA checked the car. My new service advisor, Justin Tritt, told me about the issue. The attached link also has a video of the housing and the old oil filter still in the car. According to the service team at BSA, it was undeniable that the filter hadn't been replaced recently. This caused a loss in oil pressure, leading to a major loss of oil and ultimately the destruction of my engine.

I traded my 2017 VW Passat for a 2021 BMW 330i on 6.12.2021
I traded my 2017 VW Passat for a 2021 BMW 330i on 6.12.2021. BMW was supposed to pay off the remaining balance directly to VW Credit. I gave BMW the address for the payment as they asked. But then, on 6.28.2021, I got a bill from VW Credit saying they hadn't received the payment. They told me that BMW hadn't contacted them about the final payoff at all. They said I should keep trying to reach out to the dealership. Since 6.28.2021, I've been calling BMW every day. I leave messages for my salesperson, Jai Smith, and managers Chuck Hodges and *** Brown. I also have the receptionist send emails with my contact info and the reason for my call to all the managers each time I call. The receptionist suggested I reach out to Kathy Gore in accounts payable, so I did that too. Now, the account for the car I don't even own anymore is 23 days overdue, and if it's not resolved soon, it will hurt my credit. I really need this taken care of right away.
On Dec 17, 2021, I took my 2010 *** 535i to Nalley BMW for a new car inspection cuz a code scan done earlier said I needed a MAF sensor replaced
On Dec 17, 2021, I took my 2010 *** 535i to Nalley BMW for a new car inspection cuz a code scan done earlier said I needed a MAF sensor replaced. My service advisor, ***, told me the diagnosis showed the "bank 2 02sensor" was the problem and it would take a couple days to order the part. When I asked how much it would cost to fix, he said about $1,000. To cut it short, I realized I didn't get a written estimate on my invoice, so I asked *** a few times for it. But till now, I haven't gotten it and they've been ignoring me, even when I emailed the Owner, ***. Meanwhile, my check engine light sometimes goes away and then comes back days later. I find this and the lack of response to a simple request kinda suspicious. I can't help but wonder if I'm getting scammed cuz I'm a woman. At this point, I gotta insist on a written estimate or getting my $192.50 back.
Nalley BMW of Decatur messed up the paperwork for closing my lease
Nalley BMW of Decatur messed up the paperwork for closing my lease. Now I'm getting unexpected bills. On 2/8, I received a bill for $286.62 for personal property tax/vehicle property tax in San Antonio, Texas. The thing is, I haven't had the vehicle for almost a year since I turned in the lease, and I haven't lived in Texas for over a year. I traded in the vehicle on March 18, in Georgia after moving from Texas on 2/5. Nalley BMW in Decatur, GA didn't properly handle the paperwork to end the lease, and I had to fight for SIX MONTHS to get it sorted out. I think this issue might be related to that. It's strange because vehicle property tax doesn't even exist in Texas, yet they're trying to charge me for it. In Texas, you pay sales tax upfront when buying or leasing a vehicle. I don't owe this money, and I have no clue who they sent a payment to. The vehicle hasn't been registered in Texas since Nalley sold it many months ago. The Vin is: WBY1Z8C39HVXXXXXX, Account #: XXXXXXXXXX. Vehicle: 2017 BMW i3 Rex.
This complaint has absolutely nothing to do with my advisor-Mr
This complaint has absolutely nothing to do with my advisor-Mr. from *** Nalley--this is solely with *** Nalley. Tuesday, December 6th 2022- I called *** Nalley and reported that I could not drive to work due to my coolant severely leaking and my engine came on my *** 2019 2 series. The customer service representative shared with my that my car has a couple of recalls--one including the engine coolant line. I could not teach that day-nor coach due to having my car towed back to ***, *** as I was traveling to ***. That day I asked could I retain a loaner due to the fact of how expensive a rental is now and also so I can have transportation back and forth to work. I was denied a loaner. I have to wait six hours until my parents could arrive to purchase a rental. The price for a rental with deposit, $624.00. After I purchase a rental, I had to call another tow company to have my vehicle towed to Nalley BMW for my Wednesday's appointment. My opinion I was treated like the luxury customer that I am. I pay monthly a lot for my opportunity to drive a luxury vehicle and my experience with Nalley wasn't a representation of that. When I received my vehicle-it was not detailed. My key fob was dead. I noticed that my bulb needed changing, no recommendation for that. What type of service did I receive? Or was I treated unfairly, because it was a recall and not an actual service? I did not initiate the recall?
I bought a car from Nalley BMW of Decatur and they kept pressuring me to make a down payment to hold the vehicle
I bought a car from Nalley BMW of Decatur and they kept pressuring me to make a down payment to hold the vehicle. They gave me a price over the phone, but when they sent an email with an invoice for the deposit, the amount was quite different on paper. I refused to pay the deposit because I knew that if the car was meant for me, it would still be available.
On Friday, December 16th, I purchased a vehicle from the dealership. Before proceeding, I noticed a service light on and informed the dealership. They took the car back to the service department and told me that I needed to take it to the appropriate dealership to get it reset because they didn't have the special tool for resetting it. So, I purchased the car and took it to the appropriate dealership for the reset.
After diagnosing the car, they found that it couldn't be reset due to a broken antenna. I called Nalley BMW of Decatur to see what they could do because they were the ones who did the pre-inspection but didn't inform me about the broken antenna. I tried to get in touch with them multiple times, calling and sending emails to numerous people at the dealership, but they ignored me or blocked me.
I also spoke to customer service, who left a message for the sales department, but they haven't called me or followed up in any way. I'm trying to reach out to them because it's costing me a significant amount of money to fix something that wasn't my fault at all. If they had informed me about this issue, I wouldn't have bought the car.
I bought my new 2022 *** 7 series on July 9 from ***
I bought my new 2022 *** 7 series on July 9 from ***. My problem is not with *** but with Nalley BMW finance and how they handled my sale. I traded in my 2015 *** and at the time I was current, no *** was due until July 18. The dealership should have gotten a 15-day payoff for my trade-in, but recently I got a call from *** finance saying that I still owed for 2 months back in 2021. Those two months are July 18 and August 18. I've been buying cars for years and dealt with this process, so I know how it works. When you trade in your car, the dealer buys your vehicle, gets the 15-day payoff, and pays off the entire loan. I paid Nalley 4k, which was my first payment and any difference of negative equity. Well, *** Nalley *** told me that they supposedly did everything on their end, but *** finance told me that Nalley forgot to send the check and get the payoff until August 18, which would have been two months after I sold them the car. The payoff amount they sent was the exact amount on my documents, but if you wait two months, then that means two months of interest and/or late fees, and at that time, the payoff amount would have been higher. So *** Nalley still owes for whatever the difference is because when I left the dealership, I was current and made whole. I wasn't aware that they didn't send the check until a couple of weeks ago, which is almost a year after I sold them my car. I still don't understand why no one from *** finance didn't call me and let me know that my account was not settled or that I owed payments. Then I could have resolved this in 2021. I need *** Nalley to send *** finance the amount owed for the two missing months and make my account whole before this affects my credit. I've never missed a payment and have been buying cars from *** for years. My mistake was doing business at Nalley and not sticking with United ***. This isn't on me, and Nalley needs to fix this soon!
3 all terrain tires and one snow tire on the vehicle
3 all terrain tires and one snow tire on the vehicle. So far can not get a call back to resolve the issue. Ghosted by the salesman. We bought this car from WI since we didn't have inventory in our state. Paid outrageous fees for notary, overnight paper work, and "dealership fees" which added over a thousand dollars to the cost. Told the car would be ready when we flew there to pick it up. Car was in detailing when my husband got to the dealership. The detail job was terrible and the car did not have that spotless new car feel. Smelled like they used dirty water. Let this go. The paperwork they charged a $300 to overnight and notarize didn't show up over night, and on the 3rd day I called the finance guy Winston who didn't immediately return my husbands call. He said he would email them to hopefully "light a fire under them" but if we are paying for over night service AND you tell me someone will be in touch on Monday, it should not be Wednesday and me calling you or I find out what is going on. The notary in fact had our contract, which they did not even email us to look over ahead of signing it, for a day and a half. She said no one told her it was a rush. Many additional fees were added on the the original "online price" like $500 for no let having owned a BMW before. Now we have the car back home and the tires were holding air differently and making a strange noise around corners. Turns out they put 3 all terrain tires and 1 snow tire one. We have a photo on their lot with the salesman Derek in and and clearly the tires have different patterns on them. Derek said according to their records they are all the same and pictures were provided proving this is not the case. He says he is on lunch and will follow up and after 3 days he has not followed up. I called the dealership and filed a complaint on the website with promises someone will call me, but no one has. All around unprofessional and do not care about the integrity of BMW or their own dealership. This was likely calculated because Winston strongly advised me to take out the warranty for the tires "just in case I have an issue" I do not trust this dealership at all and would never work with them again.
I bought a 2021 X5 BMW on 11/27
I bought a 2021 X5 BMW on 11/27. One of the two keys were broke and my two front two windows tints are bubbling. Dealer know as of 11/30. On November 27th of 2020, I bought a 2021 x5 BMW. It had about 10 to 15 miles on the truck. I was excited and happy with the buy. It was kinda late after going back in forth with payments and etc. Finally, I was able to drive off with my new truck to only realize one of the two keys were broke. The next morning, I am going to the store and noticed both of my front windows that were tinted had bubbles in them. I went back to the dealership on Monday morning to tell Chris Yarbough about the broke key and the bubbles in my tinted windows. He said it would not be a problem to fix the windows and they could order me a new key. He said that I would have to return the broke key for him to place a new order for a replacement. Ok, that would not be a problem. I gave him the key and he said that he would call me once the key arrives and at that time we can schedule the tint replacement. I waited and waited no call. I reached out to Chris Yarbough on December 7th with a text asking for an update on my key. I never got a response. So, I called him on December 9th and spoke to a lady who said that Chris Yarbough was with a customer, but he told her my key still had not arrived. He then called me on December 10th to say the same thing about the key not coming in and he would call me as soon as he has it. I waited and waited for him to give me a call and still nothing. I reached out to him again on December 16th. By this time, it has been 16 days since I gave him the key and still, he is saying the key is still not there. Meanwhile, I bought a brand-new truck that had a broke key and bubbles in the two front windows. I have been given nothing but the run around on getting this matter corrected. I only have one key now and if I lose or misplace it. I will be left stranded with no transportation. This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had with buying a new vehicle. Today is 12/21 and I still do not have my key and the tinted window is still not fixed on this brand new truck.
