Purchased dress was low quality and difficult to return
Purchased a dress it was not professional quality. It was like a homemade sewing project. No shade on the seller I believe she didn't know the quality of the dress before purchasing it and she'd never had it examined by a tailor or seamstress. I tried it on with a seamstress and she told me for the cost of the needed alterations I should just buy a different dress. The dress needed a major overhaul and many seams were totally unfinished. Return process was difficult. Customer service still hasn't sent me a return label yet.
Recommendation: Save your money buy from a consignment store or on a website where you work one on one with the seller so you know what you're getting.
Nearly Newlywed: A Game-Changer for Brides on a Budget
I was hella nervous to buy my wedding dress online, but I didn't wanna break the bank either. So I stumbled upon Nearly Newlywed and decided to give it a shot. And let me tell you, I was shook when I found a dress I loved for way cheaper than what I saw in stores.
But of course, I was still a little skeptical about the quality and condition of the dress. When it finally arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The dress was in great condition and the quality was top-notch. I couldn't believe I got such a steal.
Overall, I highly recommend Nearly Newlywed for anyone who wants to save some coin without sacrificing quality. It's a game-changer for brides on a budget.
Amazing Quality and Convenience: My Experience with Nearly Newlywed
So, I was looking for a dress, but I didn't want to buy it online because I wasn't sure if it would be good quality or not. But then I found Nearly Newlywed and I thought, why not give it a try? And let me tell you, I was blown away by the quality of the dress I received! It was so beautiful and well-made, I couldn't believe it. Now, I recommend this site to all my friends who are looking for a dress. It's just so easy and convenient, and the dresses are amazing!
Disappointing Experience with Nearly Newlywed: Incorrect Measurements and Misleading Policies
I recently bought a dress from Nearly Newlywed and was disappointed to find that the measurements were incorrect. When I contacted customer service, Patti told me that they couldn't offer me any sort of refund, which was frustrating. I wish they had been more understanding of my situation.
Additionally, I found the site to be quite misleading. It costs $75 to buy and return a dress, which I didn't realize until after I had already made my purchase. I read the terms and conditions a few times, but they were still unclear about this detail. It's frustrating to feel like I was tricked into spending more money than I had intended.
Overall, I would not recommend using Nearly Newlywed. My experience was terrible and frustrating, and I wish I had gone with a different site instead.
Unreliable and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with Nearly Newlywed
I recently had a bad experience with Nearly Newlywed. I was hoping to sell my wedding dress and decided to use their services. I paid the fee and received an email the next day saying that my dress was live on their website. However, it has been over a month now and my dress is still not listed when I search as a buyer. I can only find it through the link they emailed me, which is not helpful since I need potential buyers to be able to find it easily.
I reached out to their customer service team to explain the issue, but they were not very helpful at first. It wasn't until I requested a refund that they said they would fix the problem. However, at this point, I don't trust them to follow through on their promise. They have already failed to provide the service I paid for, and I don't want to risk losing my money altogether.
To make matters worse, every time I checked my seller profile, there were always glitches with the site. It was frustrating to deal with these technical issues on top of the problems with my listing.
Overall, I would not recommend Nearly Newlywed. They are not reliable and their customer service is lacking. If you're looking to sell your wedding dress, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Poor Customer Service and False Claims: My Experience with Nearly Newlywed
I recently bought a wedding dress from Nearly Newlywed and although it was pretty, it wasn't the one for me. I decided to return it, but I was aware of the $50 return fee that was listed on their website. However, it was quite difficult to get in touch with them and the return process took almost a week because of the long wait between emails. Finally, I was able to return the dress, but I didn't receive any confirmation that they had received it. I sent daily emails asking about it, but they ignored me for three days. When they finally responded, they claimed that they had received the dress "a few days ago" and that it had "multiple stains". However, they didn't provide any pictures to support their claim. I only tried the dress on once in my room and didn't even walk around in it. I then put it back in the garment bag and wrapped everything up to protect it inside the box. I feel like this company is just trying to scam people out of their money and I hope that everyone who works there has a hard time sleeping at night. I don't have much hope that they will give me the refund that I am owed, but I am prepared to take legal action if necessary.
Nearly Newlywed Review: Beautiful Dress, Misleading Policies
My experience with Nearly Newlywed started off well, but unfortunately, I encountered some issues along the way. At first, I was excited to find a beautiful dress on their website and placed my order without any problems. However, I later discovered that my order had been accidentally cancelled and I had to place it again. To make matters worse, my credit card was charged twice.
Despite these setbacks, I eventually received the dress and was pleased with its beauty. However, after trying it on, I realized that it wasn't the right fit for me. I decided to return it, as the website stated that returns only cost a $25 restocking fee. However, when I received my refund, I was disappointed to find out that an additional $50 had been deducted for shipping. I searched the website for any mention of this extra charge, but couldn't find any evidence of it. When I contacted the company to dispute the charge, they informed me that it had always been their policy.
This experience left me feeling frustrated and misled by Nearly Newlywed. If you're planning on trying on a dress and returning it, be aware that it will cost you $75 instead of the advertised $25. It's a shame that the website's misleading information caused me to lose more money than I had anticipated.
Despite these issues, I do believe that the dress itself was reasonably priced and beautiful. If you're willing to take the risk and keep the dress, you may have a better experience with Nearly Newlywed than I did.
Disappointing Experience with Nearly Newlywed: Poor Customer Service and Unresponsive Sellers
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience on Nearly Newlywed. I found a dress I really liked, but had some questions about sizing. Unfortunately, the way the website works is that all questions have to go through customer service before they get sent to the seller. After a few days of waiting for a response, I reached out to CS to see what was going on. Their response was pretty curt - "no as I told you I would only contact you if there had been a reply from seller."
Honestly, I found this pretty rude. As a bride-to-be, I'm already stressed enough without feeling like I'm being brushed off by a business. It felt like they were more interested in making money than actually helping me out. And to make matters worse, I never heard back from CS with an explanation for why the seller didn't respond.
I think it's pretty unfair that sellers can just ignore questions and leave potential buyers hanging. If they're not going to be responsive, their listings should be taken down so people don't get their hopes up.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend Nearly Newlywed to anyone - buyers or sellers. If you're a seller, you're not going to get any business if potential buyers are turned off by the customer service. And if you're a buyer, you're better off looking elsewhere for a dress.
NearlyNewlywed.com Review: Poor Communication and Customer Service Left Me in a Bind
I had a really bad experience with NearlyNewlywed.com. I was in a real bind because a seamstress had ruined my wedding dress just three months before my big day. I tried going to local bridal shops, but they couldn't guarantee that they could get me a replacement dress in time, even with rush shipping. I was running out of options, so I decided to check out NearlyNewlywed.com.
I felt pretty good about ordering from them because they promised a 2-3 week shipping time frame, free returns, and they made sure that sellers had to ship the dress to them for authentication before it was sent to me. I ordered the dress right away, hoping that it would arrive in time for my wedding.
Unfortunately, after waiting for three weeks, I still hadn't heard anything about my dress. I tried to contact the seller, but NearlyNewlywed.com doesn't allow buyers to communicate directly with sellers. So, I had to email NearlyNewlywed.com to ask for an update.
That's when I found out that the dress had never been shipped by the seller. I was really upset because NearlyNewlywed.com had never notified me that there was a problem with the shipment. When I asked them about it, they just blamed the seller and said that they were sorry that she hadn't answered their emails. They didn't take any responsibility for the delay or the lack of communication.
Now, with only 60 days until my wedding, I'm left scrambling to find a replacement dress. If the dress had arrived on time, I would have had enough time to get alterations done. But because of NearlyNewlywed.com's lack of communication and professionalism, I'm stuck in a really tough spot.
Overall, I would not recommend NearlyNewlywed.com to anyone. Their lack of communication and poor customer service really let me down when I needed them the most.
Nearly Newlywed Review: Disappointing Experience Selling My Dress
I recently had an experience with Nearly Newlywed that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. If you are considering selling your dress with them, I urge you to read this review before making a decision.
My experience began with Patti, who I was in contact with throughout the process. Her emails were rushed and lacked any personal touch. All she seemed to care about was getting my dress shipped to them as soon as possible. While the website advertises free shipping, this does not apply to those selling their dresses. I was responsible for shipping my dress to them, which cost me up to $150. And to make matters worse, I only received 60% of the price of my dress. This means that Nearly Newlywed is making a significant profit off of the dresses they sell.
I was devastated when I learned about this policy. I had paid a lot of money for my dream dress, including customization and alterations. I never would have sold it for 20% of what I paid. When I reached out to Patti to ask if I could have my dress returned, she simply replied with a short email that said "sorry, no." I was left feeling heartbroken and taken advantage of.
If you are considering selling your dress with Nearly Newlywed, I urge you to think twice. While they may be able to sell your dress quickly, they do not have your best interests at heart. They are more concerned with making a profit than with helping brides who are looking to sell their dresses. I wish I had never sold my dress with them and I hope that others can learn from my experience.
Disappointing Experience with Nearly Newlywed: High Shipping Cost, Damaged Dress, and Poor Customer Service
I was so excited to find Nearly Newlywed, a company that allows returns on used wedding dresses. I had my heart set on a specific dress and needed it ASAP as I was leaving the country soon. I reached out to the company to inquire about expedited shipping and was quoted $50-$80 for overnight shipping. However, I received another email stating that the cost may be around $100. Finally, I was told that the cost would be $199! I was shocked and decided to check the UPS website to see if the price was accurate. To my surprise, I found that the prices were much cheaper on the UPS website. I emailed Nearly Newlywed to express my concerns, but they simply replied that the cost was non-negotiable. I was disappointed that they couldn't give me a clear quote from the beginning.
Despite the high shipping cost, I decided to go with regular shipping. Before the dress was shipped, I received an email with pictures of the dress's damage. There were a few tears and missing jewels on the belt, torn fabric on buttons, and stains on the corset and skirt. I was shocked that the seller never mentioned any of this damage. I was also surprised that Nearly Newlywed missed these issues during their "full and thorough assessment." I sent them an email expressing my disappointment, but they brushed me off and didn't apologize.
I knew that the dress was used, but I expected it to be well-maintained since I was paying $1700 for it. I decided to send the dress back and lose the $50 on shipping. I was disappointed with Nearly Newlywed's customer service and the condition of the dress. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone looking for a used wedding dress.

Disappointing Experience Selling My Wedding Dress on Nearly Newlywed: A Review
So, I decided to sell my wedding dress on Nearly Newlywed and I must say, I was pretty disappointed with their service. They seemed to be very disorganized and insensitive towards my needs. I regret listing my dress here for sale.
I had heard from a friend that she had a bad experience buying a dress from them, but I thought it might be different on the seller's end. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The whole process was just not worth it.
I encountered a lot of issues with their website and had trouble navigating it. It was quite frustrating and time-consuming. Moreover, their customer service was not helpful at all. They seemed to be indifferent to my concerns and didn't provide any solutions.
Overall, I would not recommend Nearly Newlywed to anyone looking to sell their wedding dress. It's just not worth the hassle. There are better options out there that offer better service and support.
WLY comlete save
I did not sign up for This company and you are illegally taking £15 a month from my bank account since September why?it's a scam I'm on benefits and can't afford this !
never received after I was charged nor a refund for the funds taken
I ordered two dresses, one for $100 and another for $500. I never received the $500 dress after being charged and was told once I returned or kept the other dress I would be refunded for the amount charged ...it has now been 12days since they have received the returned $100 dress and still no refund! I should never have been charged for the $500 dress to begin with! I'm getting married in 4wks and have no other budget for a dress...this website is a joke! The response I received has gone from once the item has been returned to it can take several weeks!

super disappointed!!
I've ordered my wedding dress from www.nearlynewlywed.com and was very excited about my purchase. I also paid big money (over $50) for overnight shipping. I did receive my dress but delivery was very late. It took them almost two weeks to deliver my dress and they never explained the reason. I wanted to see the dress as soon as possible because I still needed to buy shoes, jewelry and there was no much time left. They ruined all my plans, but I'm glad that my dress arrived and it was pretty nice, but in my opinion very overpriced.
