This email to officially complain against NEDBANK South Africa. A year ago i have been blocked without pre-notice to use my AMEX card. It took nearly a month to make it active again. Reason? Due to FICA documents to be submitted, while nobody in the first place asked me for them!
Suddenly again, around 20th of March 2024, i have been blocked without pre-notice or reason, again!
Through my business, i have been an AMEX member for the past 36 years and has never experienced such frustration and total lack of service from NEDBANK SA!
Nobody has been able to tell me the reason of such unfair blockage!
Finally, only today, while at one of the branches, the manager managed through phone calls to the head office to unblock my card. It is now working.
Claimed loss: Based on the above, i believe NEDBANK should,- be fired and replaced by another banker in SA to represent AMEX, and,- compensate me for 2 weeks of lack of service, frustrations and waste of my precious time to create business deals!
