Comerica bank is treating me differently than others who get there SSA benefits on the Derect express card. They are not providing the federal government wirh the routing and acount numbers and SSA has requested 8 times that my ssdi benefits go on the DX card. Comerica bank has a contract with the federal government to do so but are treating me differently than other's.

Direct express debit card
SSA has requested 6 times now to have my ssdi benefits go on Comerica Derect express debit card Derext Express/Comerica Bank has not providing the SSA the acount and routing numbers so SSA can put my benefits on the card. Instead Comerica tells me I gave them rong information but it is SSA that sings you up as they have a contract to do so between them. Comerica bank will not look into this or correct the issues

I have a debit card issued by you to direct express, that my social security retirement from the US government is deposited directly on to monthly. When they recently changed my card I have had restrictions applied and my card declined as if I am limited by the amount of my transaction and the frequency of attempts. I am a handicapped senior, and this card is my lifeline. I have a history with my previous card that should show that my card has always been used in the manner called for, so I'm confused at these severe changes. Please lift these limitations as soon as possible, so I will be able to use my money in the amounts I need, at the time I need them. Thank you

I deposited a check that was endorsed to me and my account is new I got. A letter saying it may not be cashed so they are holding my funds I deposited in April of 2023 it's now June the balance is there and it's been cleared by other. Banks so why are they asking for a affidavit I sent one by fax to a number the customer service gave me to find that they don't have a fax number after talking to another customer service agent. Excess overdraft fees based on untimely payments cashed by Comerica
Craig E Smith Detroit, MI. From the period of 1/15/23 to the present, I deposited over 2100 in my account. There was at least 600 in the account, Comerica bank has caused my account to be overdrawn with poorly timed payments cashed in from them. My account is still overdrawn at this moment. I want the fees reversed. In addition, the local branch has poor customer service as well. I was left on hold for a lengthy period of time without a response to my question.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund and a apology.
Direct express customer service
On January 16, 2023 I called Direct Express customer service and was required to provide a full social security number on the phone. The customer service supervisor required me to tell her again what my full social security number over the phone. This is a very dangerous situation opening me up to identity theft. She refused to accept any other information to verify my identity. I do not have a problem identifying my identity, I have a problem being required to verify my identity with my full social security number over the phone giving access to whoever is on the other side of the phone. I have no way of verifying the identity of the person who I am speaking with and if they are actually employed by Direct Express/Comerica Bank. When I refused to give her my full social security number and asked for her to verify my identity another way she refused and eventually hung up on me with the excuse that there are others waiting to be helped who would provide their full social security number over the phone. I do not appreciate being treated this way nor do I appreciate being forced to share my full social security number over the phone to an unknown person. I'm sure you can understand my reluctance to share this personal information with whomever. I'm sure you wouldn't want to reveal your full social security number to an unknown individual.
Desired outcome: you should give me more characters so I can make a decent suggestion.

Robbed by direct express for over $1000
On 6.29.2022 All my ID docs were stolen by an abuser.
7.1.2022 to 7.5.2022 It took many calls and 22 hours on hold get Direct Express to answer the phone.
I told them of the card and ID theft. They claimed they would cancel the stolen card and would send me a new card.
A Direct Express agent 'verified' me by sending a code to my email.
Agent said they would debit my account $18 for the new card and it would arrive in 2 days [to my mom's address in another state as I requeste]).
The card arrived 4 days later.
When I called the Direct Express number to activate - after 4 hours on hold - my call was sent to the Fraud Dept.
Direct Express Fraud Dept REFUSED to 'verify' me by using an email code which is the verification method they used to send a NEW CARD to a NEW ADDRESS.
Direct express agent (and a "supervisor") demanded front and back copies of my driver license, birth certificate and social security card.
Desired outcome: I WANT ALL OF MY MONEY ($1124) REFUNDED
Even after Direct Express has taken my money and locked me out of my account, they keep mailing my personal info to my abuser at my Old Address (which I told them Not to use). Direct Express has given an abusive psycho: my mom's address and phone number - enabling him to Harass and Threaten an 80 Year Old Lady.
