05h15 am I was seen in triage

My daughter had a constant fever of 37.5 Iwhuch started on Sunday at 9h30 am while we were at home, I monitored it and tried to get it under control I could not I kept on checking her temp throughout the night while I was home (as a mum coming to garden city with a child that has s fever of 37.5 the staff makes you feelas if you are dumb i hate the casualty in this hospitalso much) so I tried managing it with nurofen and panado... 4h00 am I checked again my 2 year Olds fever was at 38.5 I then decided I needed to bring her in (even when my daughter is sick she still talks and plays so peoplethink im over reacting, mind you i NEVER rush to dr or hospital unless i feel that there reallyis something wrong)

Arriving in casualty there was 1 lady in the waiting area, nurses in triage saw to us immediately and took my daughters vitals, temperature the normal stuff, I then opened a file and waited 30 minutes to be called in to where the Dr sees us (I was the only person waiting to be treated at the time I was waiting the other baby left 20 minutes prior to me being called) finally they called me a nurse took me to a bed in casualty where Dr Sepuyo came another 20 minutes later he checked her ears, and throat, listened to her chest and then told me it's tonsils, I must continue with the nurofen, I then asked him about the lesions on her mouth and body to which he responds its nothing just leave them, while writing a script for empapad ready to send me home. At this time I was already upset because this is the second time at this hospital a Dr is rushing to discharge my child from casualty when she is not well without a proper examination.

I asked him if he is not going to do bloods as the last time she also didn't look sick but her CRP levels were extremely high, he tells me it's not necessary to which I responded that I insist he does the blood test. He tells the nurse just do bloods for CRP and walks out of the room.

Bloods were done and my daughters CRP levels were 136 -the nurse comes to tell me that I was right and my daughter needs to be admitted, DR SEPUYO returns and says your daughters CRP levels are high they will need to do a blood culture and x-rays of her chest instructs the nurse and walks out in a hurry. (NO APOLOGY)

Shift change - DR SEPUYO was handing over to the next Dr and I hear him imitating me to the Dr saying in a squeaky voice **** the last time I brought my daughter in her CRP levels were high **** I ignored him and just waited for my daughter to be treated.

I was in casualty from 5h15 am and only taken to the ward at 11h30 am

My daughter was dripped 4 times in casualty as they couldn't get the line in, yet no medication was administered in casualty besides for a suppository.

I am extremely disappointed that we get treated this way, my daughter has a severe infection and DR SEPUYO was going to send me home telling me that it's tonsils, the lesions are nothing but if they get worse I must bring her back in 2 days, no medication was administered, I was not listened to and he made fun of me because I insisted on blood tests for my sick 2 year old daughter, he said that her fever is not even that high.

IS THIS THE TYPE OF SERVICE WE RECEIVE FROM A PRIVATE HOSPITAL?

ARE YOUR PATIENTS NOT IMPORTANT?

IF I FID NOT INSIST ON THE BLOOD TESTS AND MY DAUGHTER GOT WORSE AT HOME WAS NETCARE GOING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY?

I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THE SERVICE IN THE CASUALTY AT NETCARE GARDEN CITY HOSPITAL!

Desired outcome: THIS DR NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED URGENTLY HE IS PUTTING OUR KIDS LIVES AT RISK BECAUSE HE IS INCOMPETENT AND IN A HURRY TO JUST MOVE ON TO THE NEXT PATIENT
