Card locked and now account is locked for 3 months now with my stimulus payment on there and I seriously need it asap
My name is Amber Davis and I need some serious help ASAP please!? On March the 17th 2021 I had my economic stimulus payment direct deposited onto my Netspend prepaid card account and as soon as it hit that card I went to the ATM to try to withdraw my money off but got the pin wrong and they automatically locked my card, as well as completely closed my account and here it's been 3 months now! I am in a major bind and need my payment asap. The account # is [protected] and routing number is [protected] and the last 4 digits of the card that my payment went to is 9245. I have literally called everyday numerous times to the customer service dept crying my eyes out and their refusing to help me any at all but continue to just lie and give me the runaround over and over. All they say is that all they can tell me is my payment is under for review by the IRS even though they have even lied numerous times as well saying that they have already sent my payment back to the IRS but no they haven't because they are having to do a payment trace to get my payment but I have no idea what to do considering I need my account unlocked at least just long enough to let me please have my deposit of $1400 that's being held from me for no reason at all! I have kids to feed, no way to pay my bills, etc etc. This is so not right and I've even already stressed myself out so bad over it all that it's making me mentally and physically sick. I am being duped out of half my dang money by this card charging me two times every time I used at ATM..and says would credit it at 10 days now says 20 but in contract with them say ten day s but I should not have had wait any dang days it's wrong and I'm behind on my bills now because of this .that money should have been left alone and wouldn't have do this but I see how it's strange that ATM charged 1.50 odd ending and never in my 27

I had money disappearing and it would maybe show up but dissapeared within 8 hours or just shortly after disputes so no proof of who's responsible but you can easily see it dont add up so not really every penny but I had 6 accounts because of scams n getting hacked I have never had much just as I start to come up they take it all it was mostly items not received from amazon nor refund so they steal refunds

Netspend had a good service, when first started, yet with their monthly fee, the entire service has now become useless and just an expense. Just this morning, Netspend was quick to deduct its $5 monthly fee, then locked my account?! I called and a rep said I needed to up load documents?! Hahaha Again, they took their $5 monthly fee, lock my account and then want ME to verify to THEM my Identity?! What a joke! I simply said to the rep to close my account. Reality, plenty of debit cards available; hello?) Obviously, Netspend gives no account for loyalty, my having been a customer since 2013. Moving on.
Customer service, lack there of
I signed up with the NetSpend debit card service and had my first paycheck direct deposited with them on April 15 2021. When I tried to call the number they post online, they automated machine didn't recognize my account number or my social security number. The mobile app didn't recognize my password, even when I reset it and locked me out. I emailed them and received no response. I have sent text messages, emails and called. There seems to be no way to contact a living person. As I am sure you can understand, I am a little frantic.
Desired outcome: My account opened, and access to my money. All of it.

Prepaid card
My stimulus check was deposited on March 12th. Within 8 hours my entire check was stolen with a virtual card. Only $5 was left out of my $1400 check. Any real bank would have flagged the card during the first 2 transactions. $500 and a $300 western union transfer. I called as soon as I noticed. It took me 3 days to get in contact with netspend. Once I did get in contact with Netspend I was given the runaround. I still have no gotten my money back. I spoke with someone today and was told it would take 15 business days to receive my money back. Within 15 days they would mail me a check. Even though the money was deposited onto my bank card. They decided to close my account and mail me a check. The check still has not been mailed out... they will mail it with 15 business days. It is ridiculous that I have been give the runaround and I am the victim. Netspend has the worst customer service. When my provional credit was issued on April 8th my card was still active. Called to see why I couldn't just withdraw the money ( that I could see at the atm) was told they had up to 15 business days to mail out the check. The check still has not been mailed out

What is that I told them when I filed my dispute that if they sent me photos I would help them if I knew who did it and would press charges I have a rought idea who and how but with out photp I do not want to accuse anone. Well as far as I am conserened this card company is out right worthless. I used to like them but I guess I will be ripping up my netspend card and transact one too.

Locked out of my Netspend acct.
Purchased a prepaid Netspend visa from Walmart and placed $500 on the card . Activated the card prior to traveling to Singapore for work. Once I arrived I attempted to use the card with no success. Tried logging into my acct and was locked out. Of course it's after hours and unable to talk to anyone. Need this resolved ASAP.

As the power of attorney for Mr. Anthony Thomas, my name is Debbie Allen. I've been trying since December 2020 to request a replacement card for Mr. Thomas's card that was stolen by Shonta Brantley. She has stolen his identify, wallet, bank statements, credit/debit card, changed his pin#. I have emailed (
ref# 4491841 on February 7, 2021 to the NetSpend legal dept., ref# 4492093 to the NetSpend Dispute Resolution Dept. on 1-30-21), faxed and mailed the requested documentation via USPS certified mail# [protected]-8401, with absolutely no response from either dept. Mr. Thomas is now homeless because Netspend has refused to issue him a replacement card to his new mailing address, POB 24322, Houston TX 77229and, change his address to: POB 24322, Houston TX 77229 and to forward his account information to me as his power of attorney.

My all access account
On march 17th 2021 I had received my stimulus payment of 1400. A call was made to netspend to transfer my funds to a different netspend account to where they made numerous withdraws and transactions to the poimt when I realized my account had been hacked it was too late I called and called and constantly get hung up on to me not being able to access my account online abymore and it tells me to contact customer support and I fo and I get no where I got two new all access cards and I cant activate either one. They told me to access my account I have to call customer service I do that then thry tell me. I have to go online to finish the activating process and I get no where I cant even pull up my account and it say that the account they is not recognized and I cant access my account. I want my money back all of it im now homeless and everything I lostmy car and everything behind this even my relationship

I made a payment online, & it was declined now my account is locked, all of my money is on that account, the people with NetSpend Allaccess keep telling me what's holding up the process of getting the account unlocked is a proof of address, I've sent them several different documents with my proof of address, & they keep saying that the document doesn't qualify. I really really need my money ASAP!
Shortly after I was paid my SSI check my card got locked somehow, then I was told that I was no longer eligable to be a NetSpend card holder, now they are "supposedly"" trying to help me get my account turned back on, which I've sent them every document I have for proof of address, because that's all that's holding up my account, all my money is on that card, my stimulus check is on that card, & I only get paid once a month. Netspend closed my account for no reason
on march 30 the netspend company had closed my account after letting me move money from my now closed account to my other netspend card account several times they put a block on my account they asked me to send in the documents providing proof of identity so i sent them all the documents they had asked for not only once but twice and and have been waiting serveral days for them to respond until now witch is 3:04 am i look at me emails and recieve the email saying they closed my acoount and who know whats going to happen to my money thats where i get all my depostits sent to i have health issues right now and they closed the account with all my money that i have to servive on

Closed my account for no reason
Two weeks ago someone stole 2500 out of my account. I filed a complaint and they told me no errors were. Ade and I wasnt entilted to my money back. I called up crying and flipping out because because I was scammed and it wasn't right. I went to use my card today and it was deactivated. I called to find out why amd was told im no longer able to be a card holder. Im furious! I have 6, 000 in my account still and I was told I would be mailed a check. Im so scared I wont recieve my money. Im making a police report. I called my attorney general. And the ftc. This isnt right. Its myyyyy money. I better get it back in the 10 days they said.

Netspend is ridiculous. Don't approve my claim if you're going to take it back anyway. They have cost me 3 stimulus checks and more. I asked repeatedly for them to minimize the amount of accounts I have and they didn't. People have been opening up accounts in my name and everything. Please fix my account and reinstate my ability to have netspend services.

Im very disappointed in the way my business with netspend was handled today. I accidentally put my husband account information on our taxes this year in which they were deposited into his account also my stimulus as well.I received an alert stating I had a direct deposit, but the balance was not showing in my account.I contacted netspend in which the representative told me I had no deposit and it was a computer glitch.I contacted the bank the dd came from and they gave me the trace number to my dd and what account it went in.I called netspend back with the trace number and after giving the account number was informed the account was not mine I talked with a supervisor still not realizing at the time it was deposited into my husband account.So a restriction was placed on his and my account.I called in and got the restriction lifted on my account.My husband and I called in to get the restriction lifted off of his account and was told at this time I would have to send in documents for verification.I sent my ID with current address and is address on file. Ss card and a letter from DHS. None the less I had to send the ss card again I did so.So ID and Ss card were approved.I attempted to use my ID with current address on file as proof of address and its also listed as approved documents for proof of address.I was told I could not I got hung up on with the representative saying I cant speak with you the primary account holder has to call in.So my husband and I called on 3 way and once I began asking the question about why my ID could not be used as address proof the call was disconnected.I spoke with one representative who sayed his name is JOE refused to connect me with a supervisor also really didn't want to identify himself. As a customer I have every right to seek clarity from a supervisor.It was very frustrating to not be able to ask a question about my own documents.I would that you please review the accepted documents list for proof of address it currently lists a ID and please some more training for customer representatives.

The whole ethic system
My card was stolen in October. Never so much as locked the account. Nooo, they let someone take 3 thousand dollars. Then 600 stimulus I never so much knew was there. I finally got access to the account last week for 20 mins... Until my 1400.00 stimulus was deposited than bam locked account and now I have to prove my identity. K cool did it ten times. Took my ID my social security card my birth certificate my car title my insurance papers my electric my car payment everything to prove I was me and y'all these folks said nope. They have unreasonable demands and I feel like I'm being extorted for my own money. Tell me how 6 months went by and they let my account get drained then stole 600 and now 1400. I can't have access to my own account yet they are taking money from it that's pretty illegal and I have contacted the ftc as well as consumers fraud. And I have been advising with a lawyer bc I feel my rights as a human being have been grossly violated. Like I'm targeted bc of my religion or sexuality. Pretty weird tho we didn't need all these documents when we got the card now... I feel as if my identity is being stolen and they are making TF hear demands to finish stealing the money. The IRS is receiving a call today bc I've had enough. They don't contact us back they don't reason they are criminals and they have messed with everyone far too much.
