On 2/23/24 at 2:30 am I called ESP (Nipsco) to call in an emergency because my water heater was broken and flooded my house. The woman took my information and said not to worry someone would call call within 4 hours. At 7:00 am I called and was told I would have to wait for dispatch to come in. At 9:15 am I called and they told me someone would call within the hour. At 10:15 I called again and they said someone would be getting to be After 12 noon I called and there was another man answering the phone and I told him what was going on I was put on hold for awhile and he said they did not have anyone in the area and he could set me up for an appointment on Monday I told him that isn’t what I was paying for that it was supposed to be taken care of in 4 hours He said that there no plumbers in our area that could replace my heater. After that I called a local plumber who said he could be out in 2 hours. I called your service again and told him I found a plumber and if they could reimbursed me for the service at which time he said no. I asked to talk to a supervisor and he put me on hold for a few minutes and said he wasn’t available and he said he would have him call me back. Today is Sunday and no call back. I feel that they did not owe up to there responsibility in resolving this problem and should be responsible for paying for the water heater that was installed. I feel that they continuously lied to me and this should be resolved
