Me being a young mum as any one else would, I got excited in servere hardship any women would be excited! Im so angry at nokia to find out that its a scam! Ill be taking this further! Shame on you nokia your pathetic ways of getting people to join nokia are sickening! And I do hope you loose the court haring coming your way...

I don't get why you're blaming Nokia. All you needed to do was enter in your cell phone number ANYWHERE on the web (heck, not even on the web) and they can send you those annoying texts. You fell for it, it's not the phone's fault.

I agree with the person above. After being foolish enough to respond to the sms message, they responded with an email asking for my details and with the mention of the promotion being licensed by International Association of Gaming Regualtors (IAGR), I thought I would check up on this and they state on their home page that they DO NOT AFFILIATE WITH ANY COMPANY AWARDING ANY TYPE OF PRIZE OR MONEY. SO...NOKIA HASN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG! I received the exact same message from the exact same number on the exact same day! Just because it mentions the name Nokia in the text, you automatically assume that this comes from Nokia. In this day and age ANYTHING CAN BE USED TO SUCK YOU IN! It's called a SCAM! Do your research before you start pointing your nasty finger! Oh and unless you have some solid evidence that connects this sms message directly to NOKIA, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO WILL LOSE THE COURT HEARING! Shame on you for even thinking, that a company so big could be foolish enough to take part in any such scam.

If you look at the emblem, its distorted, which means its FAKE! And then if you type in nokiamega.com, which is where you got the email from, you can't get onto it. Which makes it even more obvious that it is a scam. Still think you have proof? I know what I'm talking about when I explained it to you.

This is BULSHID! SENDING US THESE [censor]IN SMSES EVENTUALLY ONLY TO FIND THAT THIS IS [censor]! I will find them myself these people that are sending me the SMSs telling me that I won 95000. I hate this what you did.

No matter how long it will take for me to find them but when I find them... Everybody will know that I found them. They will regret but they wont get a chance to correct their mistakes

Also received an sms this morning claiming I won R95 000 and a Nokia e65 through the Nokia yearly promotion. Pin number was yx2. and the number to phone was [protected], the contact person was a Mr T Lawrence.

Hello to every one that are honest and trusting human beings. This morning I recieved a sms from this nr [protected] saying that my telephone number has won r250 000.00 and that my ticket nr is 0166n. I had to phone [protected] between 09h00 and 17h00 to get the details. I then phoned and the person that answered told me to buy r480.00 worth of airtime which would be used to activate my winning ticket nr. I find this kind of fraud and deception repulsive and I think these people should all go to hell. They prey on poor and innocent people, take what little they have and then dissapear. These people should remember that karma isn't something to play with and that what you do to others will come back to you seven times worse. This is just not acceptable and the security services in our country and nokia should start to do something about this. I hope by the new rica system that is now being implemented these devious and ruthless people will be brought to justice.

Eventully I did and a lady told me to buy MTN air time 10 X R180 which is R1800 and fax the pin numbers to them.
