customer service at old navy
I took a shirt back to the Old Navy store at Ranger Outlet Foley, Al to get a refund or store credit .
After I washed my shirt it shrank from a x-large ladies to a child's size. I had my receipt where I bought 2 of them. But because I had cut the tags out of the shirt they said there was nothing they could do. Receipt or not they said NO.
Maybe I should find another store to do my shopping. One that stands behind the quality of merchandise that the sell. I used to love Old Navy and I shopped there alot. But not anymore !
sales online / store
Old Navy needs to coordinate online sales with in store sales so people like me aren't buying/returning unnecessarily when found cheaper either online/in store. Unless you want to start closing stores you need to honor each other's prices! You should also offer free shipping to card holders no matter how much is spent. Otherwise a customer just buys enough to get free shipping & returns what they don't want.
white sweatpants that had the sensor on them
I live in Gouverneur New York and have never had a problem with the Watertown, New York store up until yesterday. My mom and I had gone to Old Nvy in Watertown a couple weeks back and she bought a pair of sweatpants, well they failed to take the sensor off. I went out to get it taken off yesterday and of course didn't have my receipt for them, and I informed them that I did not have the reciept but they failed to take the sensor off, well we don't get out to Watertown much because of living quite a ways away. The young girl I had informed that the sensor was on was very rude to me about it. She was acting like I stole the damn sweatpants and I didn't I was just simply telling them that the sensor was on them. I also said that they were having trouble with there sensors that day and the girl had double checked our bags to make sure that there were no sensors on them and that I didn't want to take the thing off myself because it would ruin my clothing. Let's just say I will not be going back to this store location again, they rude and obnoxious! I will take my business to elsewhere!
management failed to resolve return item issue
December 18, 2017
To whom it may concern:
Please be advised of the following. Today, a charge customer attempted to return two [2] of six items purchased two days prior from old navy, manhattan beach, california and purchase another item. One of which is a pair of leggings that she was returning with a receipt in a bag with another item, specifically a fleece hoodie. The cashier [candy smith] left to get the manager [esteban chidoz] to inform her that old navy could not return the items due the fact that the items "smelled." Whatever is and in spite of your return policy for clothing, this is extremely insulting when the customer never worn the items. In addition, the items have only been kept in the original bag in the bedroom. Moreover, none of the tags have been removed.
Old navy needs to fire these two employees. Clearly your manager is an idiot and needs to be fired! Charge customer has a thirty [30] year career in the law industry and worked in several large law firms in century city, california [los angeles]. She has her accredited paralegal certification from a law school. She called back to record the conversation with esteban chidoz in utter disbelief that any management of old navy could or would treat a customer in such an unprofessional manner. It is her intention to file a law suit against your corporation because of these actions. She has the clothing items for examination.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Date of purchase is 12.16.2017, trans 5112, store 06043, cashier 2651847 at 3:15 p.m. return item # [protected] for $20.99.
online ordering
I ordered a blazer and purse and received noticed the same day that Old Navy could not fulfill that order ($71.48). It has been a week now and they still have this amount pending in my checking account. When I contacted my bank about this they said it comes from the merchant and that I needed to get them to release it. I have tried several times to contact Old Navy about this and get it removed and am not getting any response and the pending charge is still there.
Very rude call center representative
Hello my name is Collecting Ellington. MY daughter and I placed an order online with Old Navy on same day (separate orders) and she has already received her package. My account showed delivered 12/14/17 but I don't have my package and it isn't at my rent office nor in my mailbox. Postal service failed to leave any paper notification, as usual. So my question to the call center representative was, "Can you explain to me where my package is and can I go pick it up". If you listen to the hopefully recorded call, you will totally understand why I cancelled my complete order. She said her name is Christina #81819 and asked me did I want her address and birthday too. She also advised me that reporting her rudeness will be waste of time. This behavior must be corrected and stopped ASAP or Old Navy will definitely have a lot more cancelled orders. Hello my name is Collecting Ellington. harassing manager
I am a seasonal worker at old navy in Watertown, NY. The store has a very pleasant work environment with the exception of one of the managers named Taylor. She is very rude and for some reason has a complaint for me each day. I have not had any issues with anyone else in the store but her. She makes working at the store unpleasant and borderline harassing. I would definitely like to see her get some retrain on how to be a better manager. When you look for the same person to make a mistake instead of accessing all employees you will only find fault in the one person you observe.
management
I am a employee at the Old Navy at the Buckhead, Atlanta, Ga location. David Lucas is the store manager and he is very very disrespectful and rude! I recently had a miscarriage while i was actually on the clock getting ready to close the store 2 weeks ago. That following week i was not told i was removed off the schedule so because i wasnt contacted i came in because i didnt want to seem like i was skipping work with a no call no show. When i got there i was told i wasn't on the schedule and i stayed anyways. On my schedule it said that i was off that Saturday. I was then messenged asking if i was coming in and i told them i didnt know i was scheduled. Come to find out i miss read my schedule. So today i direct messeged David letting him know what was going on with my ride just to let him know i would be late. He automatically assumed that i was calling out and told me that he wouldnt be keeping after the holidays. Amd then stated he wouldnt be going back and forth with me. I never said that i was calling out, i know that if ypu call out you have to call the store not send a manager a message. I absolutely love this company and i want to grow in this company but managers like David are horrible and they make people not want to work. I send messages among other workers who complains about how he treats them and talk to them and try to threat people by trying to fire them. And evrry time we turn around he is calling out and the other managers have to pick up his slack. Am disgusted with his behavior and attitude. I have met my deadlines when it came to signing customers up for BRIGHT! Every time i work i am told i will be trained on reguster but it has never happened. I wasnt properly trained for the store. Again i would love to stay with this company but David needs to go!
You are more easily replaceable than a manager. Old Navy is not going to get rid of a manager based on a sales associate complaining they don't like him.If he was let go, it wouldn't be because of you.
I am complaining about returns
I bought some flip flops 12/03/2017, next day I woke up took tag off I as put them on I notice they where not the same size, one was 5 the other 7, the hanger was 7 just like the tag. I was going to exchange them but had not chance to go, I went today 12/14/2017. To the old navy in Barton creek mall, the cashier was like why would you like to return this I was like the size don't match, I was I would like to exchange I gave her the tag, even mention I had the tag, she was going to go get the new pair, but game back saying manager said they couldn't exchange them, because they didn't have prove that the tag was with the flip flops. I was like why would I keep the size like that I'm q size 7 not 2 different ones. She then said I can call the manager and I was okay. Manager comes was like what's your problem I was like I need to exchange why would I keep the pair if I'm a size 7. She kept saying no prove, I was like are you calling me a lair? Why would I keep that pair that's not my fault it came like that, I ask for my money back, she kept saying they have no prove. The hanger And tag where size 7 I even paid that with my old navy visa. She then told me to read the policy and so I ask for a copy she said she didn't have one and I was well I need one she said it was online and then I ask for a copy she seem she didn't want to give me one, she said it was going be q white, she then rudely told me to move and stand on he side, few minutes back someone else came back, with a part of a recipet. I was so disappointed with the way she act, it made me think About canceling my Old Navy Visa Card, or even not shop there anymore, with this situation I'll need to think twice. Her name was Marisa Martinez and was the Department Specialist Manager.
tv commercial
Again, you have produced a tasteless holiday commercial.
I find it extremely inappropriate for you to have men dressed up like women who are called mothers on your commercial. You are only promoting confusion. I don't appreciate my daughter having to ask me if that was a man dressed up like a woman who's a mom on a Christmas commercial.
What is wrong with your marketing team?
Snap out of it.
I would love an explanation of why you feel that is necessary.
I would also like to know why you would ask gender to register online with old navy commercials like that?
You have lost an entire family of frequent old navy shoppers .
service and product
I went into the Owings Mills Old Navy December 10, 2017 at 8:30 pm. The Store was a mess. Jeans thrown everywhere and not neat. Couldn't find sizes because you had size 10's everywhere. Asked the lady working if they had a certain size and she said no but you can order offline. I thanked her. I was waiting in line and there was another woman behind me and the girl who was waiting on a customer walked away as I walked over to her to get waited on. She saw me coming and walked away and went and helped with a display. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am White and she was Black and ten minutes later a White employee came out and waited on us. I thought wow, that's how it is here? Just crazy. Even if the woman isn't prejudice she's rude and ignorant for leaving us wait there. SMH. Won't shop in Old Navy any longer.
wage during overtime hours
Working during overtime in old navy should reward the employee with a wage roughly 80% higher than their normal hourly wage for each hour worked over scheduled time. Employees should be compensated for their overtime pay no matter what, and firing employees who attempt to complain or don't work as hard during these overtime hours is very much illegal, and can be taken to court. This is unacceptable, and needs to be changed ASAP or further push will be needed.
horrible
I used to really like this website. But the more they improve their service, the worse they become. I don't know why. It's kind of paradoxical to me.
Last time I ordered pants from them, but all of a sudden my order was canceled. I thought that maybe the pants were out of stock, it happens, but no, there was no reasons for that. One representative said that it might be a system error, but she wasn't sure. A little bit later another rep said that no, the system was ok. Oh god, what the heck is going on, guys? Why did you cancel my order without telling me? Why don't you know what had happened? Who knows it, if not you?
customer service
On 12/2/17 I visited the old navy in the galleria mall in white plains, NY. I have shopped at this old navy and others for years and never have I had an interaction with a cashier like I did on that day. The cashier was rude and disrespectful. I grabbed 3 dresses, 4 cartigans, a hat and gloves. When I went to pay the sweaters where ringing up regular price, I told the cashier there was a sign that said 30% off, she said well they are coming up regular price and that I must have misread the sign. I told her I read the sign correctly and her response was "well then show me" So I walked her over to the sign and she said, "well the sweaters where put there by accident and they are not on sale. I replied well then I just don't want them. Then came to a dress that was on the rack of 30% off and also rang up at regular price and she said that wasn't considered on sale because it was an online return. I told her they need to organize there signs correctly because it is very misleading her reply was "that's not her job". As she is ringing up my remaining items someone she knows walks into the store and she says "what up my n****r with my husband and I standing right there. completely inappropriate, and what makes it worse her manager was right there through all this and never once stepped in to say anything, they actually all began talking about me when I left. Total turn off and lets say thinking about never going back.
product and service
12-03-2017 went to Old Navy in Chico, Calif. very unhappy they carry very limited cloths for infant boys. Then I get in line only two cashiers and 13 people in line, if you have an Old Navy card they let you go ahead of all the people who stood in line for 15 minutes because of how long it took the cashiers to check out people. Now I know why people go online which I would rather not due.
employee attitude /rude!
I went to the old navy store in Barstow CA. Store number 05043, cashier 2668371. I went to on 24 November 2017, most items were 50% off. I was purchasing some legging that were 60% off according to the sign. I prescanned the item but it was coming up for 60% off, do I asked one of the employees on the floor and he said they would take the 60% off at the checkout. When cashier number 2668371 scan the item doing checkout it didn't ring up for sale price. I told her it was on sale for 60% off and she said no item was clearence item and could be reduced. I told her it didn't have a clearence tag and it wasn't from clearence area. I told her what the employee in the floor said and her response was no, it can't reduce. Needless to say I didn't buy the item. Her attitude was rude and ugly. I have never experienced such rudeness before, I couldn't believe her attitude, like she really didn't want to be there or didn't know what customer service was. Employee in dying need of customers service training.
To the goof ball that said someone seems whiny and entitled you're absolutely incorrect. If something is posted 60% off then that's what the customer expects not to be [censor]ed out from some minimum wage witch at the counter. Not sure why people hire people if they have poor customer service. Get a clue employers if a person don't smile or are crabby in general do NOT hire them.
You just seem whiny and entitled. You can't always get your way!
unethical behaviour towards worker
11/14/2017,
The sale floor name was ashley she was black and the manager was white and short her name was peggy, that's what the cashier called her. I had came in to look for a pair of jeans and peggy was yelling at ashley on the sale floor, saying that she did a call no show, she not doing credit cards and ashley had a confused look on her face, she explained that she called in two hours before her shift and ask to speak to a manager but they were busy and that she couldn't make it, she was only trained once on cashier. Peggy seen me as a customer standing there and ashley was going to ask did I need help and peggy started again with her picking up people shifts. Ashley said she picked up people shift on a app I believe and that it take for ever for management to approve it. Ashley apologize twice during the conversation for any misunderstanding. Ashley had to start folding clothes and I just walked away but as I walked away I heard her talking to other sales floor people about the talk she had with ashley. I think this was very unprofessional one because I work in a clothing store my boss never talked to us like that he/she treat us like human being. Two. I was a customer trying to find something and peggy wouldn't stop yelling at ashley to address my needs or allow ashley to. Third that should've been something talked about in the office not on the sales floor, I know I wasn't the only person hearing what was said. Fourth, she talking about ashley to other team members that's not being a team player. I stayed in the store for 15mins, I did find ashley folding jeans I told her that she did a great job, because I have never seen a boss be that rude in my life to someone that work for them. Ashley just smiled. I just wonder how many other people complain on peggy? Or just don't because they are scared to?
I wont be shopping in this Old Navy again.

customer service
The manager was not helpful at all. I went to return thre items. It was 46th day. They said can't returns the money but store credit will be mailed. I asked them to put on my GAP card since I have trouble getting mail. The manager did nothing to solve my problem. Then I asked for a customer dissatisfaction form he went to the back and came back half an hour later saying they don't have any.
This happened at the Winchester Valley Fair mall Old Navy store
Getting the funds returned to your Gap card would be a refund technically, and not a store credit. If you had desired a refund or credit in a certain type of method, you should have returned your items within the thirty days.
I have never head of a customer dissatisfaction form and most stores don't have feedback forms in general. You should call their corporate customer service if you wish to complain.
return
Hello,
My name is Pamela Collier, I went into the Old Navy store in Fayetteville NC located on Glensford Dr. I purchased 3 tops total $ 47.59 on Wednesday Nov. 8 2017 At 5:30 pm... I returned 2 of the tops...had my receipt the very next day during my lunch, 12:50pm on Nov 9, 2017. I used my debit visa card ending in 5393. The sales clerk was very hurried and did not smile...I wanted to insert my card and she said no it will credit your account. She was RUDE, BUT I JUST WANT TO BE SURE I GET MY REFUND. I CHECKED MY BANKING ONLINE THIS AM AND IT IS NOT THERE. I MADE IT CLEAR SINCE I HAD MY RECEIPT THAT I DO NOT WANT A STORE CREDIT OR A CHECK MAILED TO ME...I WANT IT RETURNED IN MY ACCOUNT. PLEASE HELP ME!
even exchange policy
On Friday October 27, 2017 I purchased a pair of Jeans that were on sale, I also signed up for a new Old Navy credit card so I received a further discount. When I got home I realized the jeans I had were a "long" and were too long on me, I went to exchange them (4 days later)for a "regular" length and was told I would not be able to do an "even" exchange that I would have to pay $8 more for the pair I needed. That is BS in my book, especially considering I just signed up for one of their credit cards. VERY UPSET!
Did you have your receipt? Was the regular size more expensive or had there been a limited time sale going on?
