no 5-cheese ziti, lack of utensils, slow service
Last evening, Saturday July 28th, me and two girlfriends went to Olive Garden in Harlem on 125th because it was one of my friends birthday. We went to our favorite restaurant, Olive Garden, where we go at least once a week, waited 40 minutes for table. Birthday girl ordered her favorite dish, 5-cheese ziti, only to be told that they were out of it.
My girlfriend was very upset and wanted to leave. We left table, only to be told at the door, they did have the five cheeses but they did not have the ziti noodles so then we came back into the restaurant waited again, and my girlfriend ordered the five cheese with a different noodle I think it was the curly but I can't remember. Waitress also waited till the end of the dinner to bring the bread sticks. We requested breadsticks numerous times. Waitress also forgot to bring the knife for me to cut my chicken parmesan.
We requested many times but the food was cold by the time she brought the knife.
To make a long story short (I'm tired of writing on my phone) Our birthday celebration was not enjoyable. Usually we enjoy our visits to OG, but not last night!

Our family just came back from the OG in Sugar Land, TX. We ordered an appetizer only to be told they were out of two of the aps. As we order dinner we were told they were out of fetti. and ziti. We order dessert and the last straw was when we were told they were out of strawberries for the cheesecake. At 4:30pm and your already out of all this food? This was so unexcepted to be told one after another your sold out of these items. I will think twice about visiting this location ever again. There are too many restaurants to choose from that don't have this problem. Could you also tell me why we had to wait 25 min. and the restaurant was totally empty. POOR management at this location.

We recently visted your Laburnum Ave. location and after the waitress brought our salad, drinks and appetizer we didn't see her anymore until I had to get up and get a manager. I explained to him that we didn't have anything to drink and my food was cold
and we hadn't received our bread sticks. Someone else brought our food out and she never came by to see if things were ok until I got the manager. They never offered to heat my food. We got our drink refills and bread sticks finally but never offered to heat my cold food. I got my food to go so I could take it home and heat to have hot food. Not happy about this visit at all!

What an ex employee does should not be a concern to her and the fact that she makes Facebook posts about it is very unprofessional and should not be tolerated.
spaghetti meat sauce
I went for lunch at the Olive Garden in Vernon Hills, Il and had the spaghetti with meat sauce; I have had diarrhea all day after leaving the restaurant. I have had this meal mant times before, but today the sauce tasted different. Has the recipe been changed, or did I just get a bad batch today.
My wife & I eat at this particular Olive Garden at least 3-4 times per month, and this has never happened to us before. Usually the food, the service & the management have been extremely good. Please check into the change in the meat sauce taste !

7/21/18 my husband's birthday our Bill 44.00 and change 9 top . I didn't like my meal our server Carly nice carried back O order what my husband having Chicken and Shrimp Caronara without shrimp Allergic. I asked server to make it a takeout order. Well got ready to eat my meal Monday order is chicken Alfreda. A small serving with 3 small pieces of grilled chicken barely any sauce! Disappointed.. Went back to Restaurant Managed very nice and told me he will make my meal and also insist on giving me a free frozenmeal. Well get home get ready to eat WELL HE GAVE ME 2 FROZEN CHICHEN ALFREDA with a separate container of fresh hot grilled chicken in it! Totally unacceptable well put in on microwave no taste season. Meals unbeaten O paid 44 for meal 2 and ripped 9.00 for a ruined Meal mines. I enjoy Olive garden but this was unacceptable will not eat there again. Disappointed. Yes my husband myself and my two children had a eat out family dinner in our travels in Gainesville Florida..the food was terrible not what I'm use to in your fine establishments...the toscuanna soup I complaint of was like water no greens or potatoes in it...the salad was whittered...the lasagne was tried out...maybe this was due to it was closing time..the service was just poor and to no avail to make it right..I ordered two margarita that was like lime juice and my husband and I had enough of complaining so we just said nothing since it didn't seem the waitress was concerned...please olive garden we have over the years been patrons of this business..can you correct this so that we will continue going with my family and our church...thank you

Today 7-23-18 was terrible lunch experience. To the point I simply walked out and left your Appleton, WI location by the Fox City Mall. I arrived and approx 10 minutes later after focusing on the bar drink orders the bartender/server acknowledged me. However, instead of taking my order or getting my drink which I told him I was ready he proceeded to assist another drink order and then a to go customer that walked in. It was at this point I was beyond frustrated as I wanted to make this a quick lunch. So I decided to leave your facility.
As a past restaurant worker the employee needs to understand the importance of service. I would take a hard look at what is prioritized first at this location. Not a good experience for me at your business. I will convey this to friends and co-workers as this was a frustrating experience.

Went for dinner server was short. Ordered a Pinacoloda that was extremely heavy in liquor that was not drinkable waiter didn't offer to exchange or credit. At the end of dinner requested a to go container. Waitress sent someone else waiting for receipt she didn't come ask for mints sent the manager Jen over which was worse rude and short. We paid our bill and left tip asked the manager if server had a problem. She said no she just couldn't take care of us was busy with other clients and that she had to go with her team and told us she was ok with us not being returning customers. Horrible experience first time I see this manager no customer service Etiquette have been going to this restaurant for the past 5 years will be calling ahead of time to make sure neither Mitchy or Jen are working at this location if I come back with my family . I regret leaving the waitress a tip got sick with how sting the liquor was in my drink didn't even eat my dinner had to take it home. Was supposed to be a nice dinner out.

Ordered chicken alfredo. I could have made butter noodles at home. If I didn't get take out it would have Been sent back for something with some sort of flavor. Total disappointment. Recently had a baby and thought I would splurge on some take out. What a waste of money and my time. And now I have to make this 350 characters or more for you to read it. atmosphere and food was terrible
I dined at the Olive Garden on July 1, 2018 at the 6750 W. 95th St. Overland Park, Ks location. My experience was terrible. The bread sticks were hard not good at all. My entree was too salty. There were spiders dropping down onto our plates from the light fixtures above. My 6 year old nephew renamed the restaurant "Spider Garden".
This location I believe will close soon if there are no changes made. The restaurant used to be a favorite dining spot not any more!

My mother and I visited the #1686 location in Leominster, MA on 7/14/18 for lunch. The waiter, Adam G. was very nice, but did not inform us that the marina sauce boat, that he offered would cost $3.49. We also substituted mashed potatoes instead of having the broccoli that came with the Herb Grilled Salmon. Once again, he did not inform us that this substitution was going to cost $2.99 and be listed as a side order of mashed potatoes. We never even received the broccoli. I have never had this experience at Olive Garden before and am very displeased.
The manager told me he should have communicated that to us cuz he was the one offering it! Boo yah!

So, what you are saying is, you didn't read the menu? Because it clearly states on the menu that marinara sauce for the breadsticks is an additional 3.49. Don't blame the waiter for your ignorance. When they suggest wine or dessert, do you assume those are free as well?

No. I don't work for Olive Garden. So pathetic when people assume that just because someone doesn't agree with them it automatically means they must work for the company. I feel like I need to express my dissapointment with our experience. I have never sent a complaint in my life as I was a server for 15 years and understand life happens but this was unexceptable. I am more dissapointed of the moment our experience at Olive garden ruined. I own my own business and work alot... I literally booked a two hour window to take my daughter to Olive garden for some quality time and it was miserable. We were sat promptly and watched 3 other tables sat after us all served drinks and salad before we were even greater. I expalined to my daughter as she felt this was unfair and was getting aggrevatted that servers sometime get overloaded with tables and it was ok. My daughter asked to play games and we agreed to play our phone game that was a quiz to entertain ourself from the wait instead of purchasing the table top system. We were finally served as the ones after us were already paying their bill. Once we received our food it was brought by a different server that seemed annoyed to bring it and literally our food was set on our table with no comment from the server. We waited another 15 minutes waiting to ask for cheese as we come ordering our meal with that in mind. Once we finally got our servers attention it took another 10 minutes to get cheese. At this point we asked for a box as our window of time was up and I had to go back to work. We never received our box. Our bill had to paid via table top system because our server never came back and we were charged for playing games in which we did not play. So we came in hungry and left hungry, couldn't even take our food home to eat later or on the way as well as charged extra for a service we did not receive. Frustrated to say the least

On July 11th it was our anniversary. So Olive Garden is our favorite place. It was a Wednesday night so there was no wait in line but as we were led to our table there was flies all over. Told the host the flies need to go! He said it was because of the heat and they had someone spray in the a.m. and p.m. Had to swat flies away while waiting for our order! Then about half way thru my meal two flies dropped into my plate! Yes I lost my appetite! I noticed the new remodel but they should have taken care of the problem before reopening! It ruined our special day!

Who ever this may concern. Im complaining about olive gardens on international rd in orlando florida. Who ever answered the phone when I called to talk to a manager was absolutely damn rude and in pissed off right now. I ask to speak with a manager an this was around 4:00pm and they hung up the phone on me and then I called again and they was like oh yeah sure with a smart and nasty attitude. And who ever that was should not be working their at all and something need to be done about it. And right now I still didnt not get with a manager like I asked and I start to drive there but I know if I would it would be trouble. So I decided to let corporate know about it since nobody will let me speak with a manager so I can let them know as well what happen to me.

As far as I know, when you order a meal, soup and salad will be free, we went to Olive Garden in Erie, PA and we were a group of 4, ordered 4 meals and the waiter charged us more for unlimited soup and salad! when we objected, he said we had more than normal, also he raised his voice and was so rude, finally the manager took it off from the bill but overal it was a bad experience and we never come back to this restaurant with rude people.

I came in with a group of 7 to celebrate a birthday. Server's name was Eric. I had a pair of sunglasses on my head that I rested on the table. I forgot them when I left and later called to claim them. According to all staff and General manager they "disappeared." I'm asking to be reimbursed for my glasses. It doesn't have to be money. Just replace.

This is about the Olive Garden in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Today is my 70th birthday and for a week now I have been eagerly awaiting our trip to Olive Garden in Hattiesburg. The last time we went was our anniversary in 2017 and the food was not up to the standard that we had grown to expect over the past few years. I order chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta and my husband ordered Lasagna, those are our go to dish. The salad should have told us that the quality of the food was worse than the last trip. The lettuce was in HUNKS of lettuce with 3-4 olives, 3 banana peppers, and 2 slices of tomatoes. That's it. The ranch dressing was about 3 tablespoons to cover that entire dish of lettuce, no croutons. The bread was hot. The main course arrived and I swear the chicken breast was cooked to the point of being totally dry, regular pasta noodles and maybe a tablespoon of sauce over the chicken and noodles, with the Parmesan was in a blob in the middle of breast. I chocked down 1/2 side, left the noodles on the plate. My husbands lasagna noodles were partially cooked and some were totally uneatable. If he continued eating it, he'd have broke his teeth. The waitress was ok, but she needed to remember that when you fill up your guests glass with tea, you need to put ice in the glass.
I was NOT happy and immediately requested our ticket so we could leave. About 5 minutes later, our waitress arrived with an apple tart that was VERY good, with happy birthday written in raspberry sauce. Cute, but did not change our opinion of our meal this day. We will NOT return to the Olive Garden in Hattiesburg. We've been twice and both times have been very, very disappointed in the quality of the food. Now, we didn't go during the busy afternoon rush, but arrived at 11:15am to miss the afternoon rush. I think you need to talk to your store manager and get him to change what ever he is doing to ruin this great restaurant. Cheap is NOT good.
chicken and shrimp carbonara
I went to Olive Garden in Oxford, al on July 1, 2018. I ordered my usual chicken and shrimp carbonara but to my surprise it arrived not the usual way it comes. The shrimp were the cheap kind that has no taste. When I asked my waiter why it was different she said it's been like this since I worked here. Approximately 15 minutes later she came back and said, I asked another employee she said they changed it about 3 months ago because people didn't like to pull the tail off the shrimp. Yeah right you just found a cheaper way to make it at the same price. Why would they order this if they knew it came with shells if they didn't Like it. You could have at least noted this change on the menu. I tell you it disgusted me, it sat in my fridge fir three days until I threw it away. No taste at least you could change the price also.
