general manager - rude behavior
The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 an estimated time of 1:30-2:00 pm. I went into Olive Garden on Abercorn St. in Savannah Georgia. The menu was limited due to closure from the Hurricane Irma (which is understandable). Me and my 13 year old daughter ordered an appetizer as well as dinner. My daughter ordered the Alfredo Fettuccine with Italian Sausage and I ordered Chicken Alfredo with well done chicken. The service with the server was very slow. I understand it may have been a shortage in staff but I saw two other severs just walking around with one table. I even had to keep asking the other severs for assistances. So, after our server delivered the food I requested the chicken to be cook longer ( due to an illness). She took the plate back to the kitchen. I went to the front to place a take out order for my mom and complained about my service. Apparently, the General Manger went to my table while I was placing the order and talked to my child about the food. My daughter said, a mean man came to the table and started talking about the chicken and how it was cooked. Then, he asked a child do she want it or not. At the time, I was still at the front and the manager got him after he got back in the kitchen. The General Manager told me he was busy and most people are thankful that they are open. At this point, I told him I thought he was being rude. If he was unable to prepare the chicken well done, he could have explained he was limited and I would have ordered something else. The General Manager then says, I could just leave. I was going to explain to him about my illness until he came out the front with an attitude. I never had this issue before at any other Olive Garden. After getting in the car, my daughter was a little upset because she said a mean man came to the table and was rude to her and she really didn't know what was going on because she was playing games on her cellular phone. Being military, I have traveled all around the world but have never had an experience like this especially by a General Manager being rude to me and approaching a child about an order. As an adult, he should have talked to a parent and not have my child feeling upset like she did something wrong. He is a very poor representation of Olive Garden. He may be short of help but he needs to still provide good customer service because I should not have to be asked to Leave because of a request for a illness. Is this the way Olive Garden treats children and people with illness. I would like an apology from
him in writing because this was unacceptable.
wait time and product
My birthday is in October and I am turning sixty. My elderly parents along with my sisters took me to dinner at the South Bay location in Boston ma. We gave our name and waited over an hr to get seated. People were getting seated before us it was getting frustrating my dad was having a hard time waiting so I asked how much longer to be seated we weren't even given an answer. We finally were seated and then we had issues with our food. My moms soup was all watered down my meal was cold it was a terrible visit disappointing will not be back.
overall
Olive Garden complaint
On 9/12 my family and myself went into the Citrus Park Mall location and were told 25 minutes for a wait time, but after 45 minutes of waiting we had to leave. We walked into the door shortly after 2:10 and got our number. Multiple people came in after us to get theirs as well. We were told it'd be a 25 minute wait. We understood that this is after a hurricane, but going out the front doors and picking people after us is where we draw the line. What is the use of a pager system if you're not going to use it? This is the first time we have experienced this and really makes us reconsider going back.

hostess at naperville illinois
Our family walked into Olive Garden in Naperville Illinois and was greeted by a hostess named Jasmine telling someone to go suck a d***k. We were mortified we had our children with us and they heard her say that. We can't believe you would allow someone to work there that has no morals and enough knowledge to keep her mouth shut around little kids very disappointed we turned around and we will never be back. We will be posting this on our Facebook page.

service and food served.
Went to Olive Garden # 4415, table 232, check #53857, From the start when we were seated it took 8 minutes before our waitress greeted us and took our drink order. She returned quickly with our drinks. We ordered food came out. We all ordered pasta with meat sauce. We all looked at each other and was wondering why it was so dry barley any sauce to cover noodles. So we politely ask for a bit more sauce. She said no problem. 12 minutes later here she comes with the sauce in a salad dressing size cup. By this time our noodles we're cold. We were frustrated and just ask to have to go boxes and 2 bags. Another 10 minutes later she finally brings the boxes and 1 bag. Then we have to ask her to bag it up. I have eaten at Olive Garden al ot they have always bagged my leftovers. Then I ask for the other bag when she brought my change from the check. Nope had to go up front and get a bag myself. No mints either. I love my after dinner mints. Totally frustrated. You go out to eat and have a nice relaxing meal. But this is the second time at this location this has happened. It's like there is a lax attitude there maybe it's management needs to tighten up. But this being our second experience having bad service we won't be back.
customer service
My friend and I went to the Olive Garden, Store 1795, in Kansas City, Kansas on 09/03/17. From the moment we sat down things went down hill. Our waitress was Megan R. She was rude and appeared to be frustrated as she asked what we wanted to drink. I handed her my drivers license for her to verify my age for my alcoholic drink. Rather than saying thank you and placing it back in my hand, she tossed it on the table and walked off. I felt that was a bit rude. My friend initially asked for a water. So when she sat it in front of me, I slid the glass over to my friend. Later I decided I too wanted a glass of water. When I asked for one, Megan stated that she had already given me a water and that was the glass that I had given my friend (pointing at the glass of water my friend had). I asked again if I too have a water. She walked away.
During our visit, we hated to ask for more salad, water, or anything. We asked for some chocolate mints before leaving. She stated that we didn't ask for mints before. She had another waitress bring us each a mint. We asked if we both could have one more, and the waitress said no, it's against managements policy. I had to just laugh. After business meetings my colleagues and I go to lunch at the North KC Olive Garden, and we normally are given 2-3 each.
Megan was not professional and appeared to have an attitude from the start. I'm not sure if it was our appearance, race, gender, or just the busy dinner rush. This was a very bad experience and I would not recommend this Olive Garden to anyone. It was really sad to receive this kind of customer service from the Legends Olive Garden.
poor customer service by server and manager
My server, Ms. Mike is a prejudiced old woman who treated my African American friend like royalty while blatantly treating me (White) like I had leprosy. She had her hand over the top of the water for me, while down at the bottom of the glass for my friend. She slammed my glass onto the table and threw the napkins and straws onto the table. She left us for 5 minutes without taking our order or bringing our breadsticks... she was not busy. She walked around the dining room talking about me in front of me as if I were not there. I spoke to the manager who blew me off. DO NOT EAT AT STORE1612, located at 7778 Winchester Rd. Memphis, TN 38125. Ms. Mike is rude and unprofessional.
service and management
On Sunday September 3, 2017 my spouse and I visited the Olive Garden on Monroe Street in Toledo, Ohio. The service began well. We were seated in a decent amount of time and the waitress was nice enough. She offered my husband and I a free sample of wine. We accepted and said that she would be back to serve it while we looked over the menu. We gave her our order and she still never brought us the sample of wine. We asked three separate times and she apologized each time but never brought the sample. I ordered a buy one take one as well as a separate to go order. She brought out a bag for our leftovers and told us that the buy one take one ravioli was in the bag and that the test of the to go order would be out shortly. We paid for our meals and noticed that she put the wine samples on our bill like they had been served and they hadn't. It was a holiday weekend we took our food and put it in our refrigerator until the next day...still in the bag. When my husband went to get the ravioli it was not in the bag. I called the restaurant and complained abut the service and the failure to complete our order. The manager offered to either complete the order or send me a coupon via email for $25. I chose the email coupon and gave the manager my email address. He said that I would receive the coupon within a few minutes. I still have not received it a week later. I was disappointed with the service as well as the dismissal of my concerns by the management. Normally we order our food from Olive Garden for take out only but thought it would be nice to eat in the restaurant for a change a9nd this turned out to be a drastic mistake that has still to be rectified.
6 ounce sirloin with zucchini and fettuccine alfredo
Olive Garden in Covington Louisiana. Servers are always pleasant and I normally have a good experience, but this time I was so disappointed. The dish advertised for 15.99 was supposed to be a 6 ounce steak which I'm more than sure was 4 ounces, and my three tiny pieces of zucchini looked sad. I asked for my steak to be cooked to medium well and when I cut into it, it was clearly rare and bleeding. The waitress took it back to have it cooked more then it came out like beef jerky. By that point I had lost my appetite and just had her box it to go. There was no offer at all for a discount on such a terrible meal for which I feel there should have been. Maybe I just shouldn't order a steak at an Italian chain restaurant.
wait time, pasta with alfredo sauce, third visit each incident
My family and I visited Olive Garden in Tupelo for the third time. Each time there has been a poorly rated occurrrence. The first time my chicken tenders were RAW. I accepted their and simply downplayed the incident. The second visit the waitress left after serving our drinks and never retruned. Another waitor came over an eventually placed our order. This last time we were told that there was a wait time of 30-45 minutes. This was on a Tuesday and more than half the restaurant was clear! After asking why the wait, the hostess said, "I'm just telling you guys what my manager told me to tell you." Once the food was ordered the pasta was bone dry. I pointed this out to the waitor and he agreed, but said that he would still have to charge extra for Alfredo sauce. This was for 3 plates of pasta. After our end of my relatives showed disappointmentioned in the experience, the restaurant general manager decided that we should have more sauce. By then, I agreed to pay and just leave, but refused the food.
mistreated employees
I have a concern with one of your managers at the Polaris Ohio location. A manager shouldn't be rude and cruel to employees. Hostess, helpers, servers. Etc. it obvious that lost of the young people working that location are treated like dirt, some of them even clearing their tears coming from speaking with manager. I refuse to dine at a place that treats their employees in such a manner. I have spoken to others whom have the same concern Tamara I believe she said was her name.. Why keep a manager happy and so may employees unhappy? Where's the logic? Contact all the employees whom have just walked out, asked them any? you might get a pattern as a response. She wants robots working her restaurant, than she's in wrong business.
mold on broccoli
- Sept. 1 2017
- Mold on broccoli - ordered Salmon, attached picture reflects the slime and mold
- My husband and I were celebrating out early 30th wedding anniversary with our daughter
- my meal was compensated, but by the time it was ready, I had to take it to go since my husband and daughter were already done with their meal
I cannot understand how this "mishap" could take place. The mold on the broccoli was evidently visible. Had I not noticed, I would have eaten such disgusting broccoli and worse yet, become ill.
The more I tried to simply dismiss it, but just isn't right. Doesn't add up compared to all the commercials and reputation the Olive Garden has. I CANNOT see it as one of my favorites.
I hereby request that a gift card be issued for three times the amount paid, in the amount of $190, to not only compensate for the amount paid that day, but for the inconvenience this incident caused me and my guests. The picture says it all. This was purely disgusting!

I called but didn't get Thur I didn't keep the receipt thought the server was coming back but I Kno people get busy but I spent money and I have to work didn't have time to back track but I love olive garden I don't have many problems with them til now.
terrible front end management-i'll never go there again.
Provo, UT Olive Garden.
Went to have lunch with family on Saturday afternoon at 3:15 pm. We had a group of 8 people, including two children. The hostess, Jillian, casually announces to my wife that it would be a 35-40 minute wait. I'm looking around at the empty waiting area and wondering how that can be.
Time goes by and we see multiple groups of 4-8 people come in and promptly get seated after waiting no more than 5-10 minutes. It's getting so ridiculous that I finally stood up to tell them what they could do with their restaurant and my wife started having vapors at the thought of what I'd say to embarrass the children and grandchildren. After 40 minutes of waiting, I finally stood up and took a photo of the hostess team. I told the hostess, Jullian, that I wanted her to get full credit on social media.
We were finally taken back by Jillian and the area we are led through is full of empty tables, so I asked (a little perturbed), "We waited all that time when you have all these empty tables!?" Jullian sent the manager out.
The manager comes out and says,
"I understand there was a bit of a wait for you folks."
I asked, "Who told you that?
He says something to the effect...
"It's my business to know about such things." He basically apologizes for not scheduling enough staff to seat a party of eight and promptly assigns two servers to our table...lol...not sure who had to suffer because of the extra attention from an already lean staff.
The manager orders two appetizers as a kindness and wants to make them complimentary. I've always pay my own way and am not looking for handouts or free stuff! When the food items are brought out, I instruct the waitress make sure both appetizers are on my bill. She said, "Oh, of course!"
Dinner is fine, with the normal hiccups one expects when dining out...forgetting to add chicken to the fettuccine alfredo, neglecting to bring the soup out to my grandson, etc.
When the check comes, the appetizers have not been added to the bill. I told the waitress that wouldn't do and to add them now. She pleadingly says she can't do that or she'll get in trouble with her manager. I tell her that if she doesn't want me to create a scene, she'll add the appetizers to my check. The waitress looks panic-stricken and my wife grabs my arm for support as he threatens vapors again. Fine, I said, I"ll put them on the tip.
I wont' go to that restaurant again. They offended me by passing my family up in favor of numerous other larger parties, every one of which came in after we did, , they thought I could be placated by throwing some mushrooms and calamari at me, and then when I told them what I wanted (to pay for what we ate) they refused to do as I asked. That may be untypical of people nowadays, who seem to be looking for hand out, but that's not the way I live my life. I just want respect and to pay my own way.
I added a photo of the hostess (Jillian, right) and you can see there is no one in the front lobby except my family seated along the wall opposite the two people you can see. That's after we had been waiting 40 minutes.
customer service
First let me say I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times and in general I have never had any issues. But I feel that this needs to be brought to someone's attention.
On 8/25/2017 I visited the Olive Garden located at 219 Loudon Rd. Concord, NH 03301. I decided to sit in the bar area since at the time I was alone. I placed my order and the food arrived promptly, the Alfredo was not correct and the manager solved this issue in a timely manner.
My issue was that my friend showed up about 10 minutes later to check in on me since I was having a bad day, your wait staff never acknowledged her at all, never asked if she would like a drink or anything to eat. They had been back and checked to see if I needed anything.
I feel that this was very poor customer service and just rude. It makes me pause about wanting to visit here again anytime soon.
Here is some information on my receipt...check#45271, table#4, Kyle C., 8/25/2017, 9:13pm
Thanks,

food and waitress
So I took my mom to olive garden for her birthday, I ordered her a frozen margarita, when the waitress brought it out it wasn't frozen so I nicely asked her to bring it back and have it made frozen then again she brought it back and it wasn't frozen, so after that we said just take it back .
When I ordered the pasta with the crispy chicken they brought out my chicken grilled I nicely said to her that my chicken wasn't the one I ordered, then she had the nerve to take the chicken off my plate and touchrd my noodles! When I got the manager she apologize and said that the lady was having a bad day, now this may be true but that was just not okay! I love olive garden but I think I won't be going back .
a visit I had on saturday the 28th at about 5 to 6 pm
So after ordeeing our dinner my husband paid with his debit card thru Samsung pay once he did that ut said waiting on merchant was told to pay again so we did this makes 2 payments on almost a 100 bill tried ta lking with waitress and manger just walked away saying its not supported although we tried to show them it is on our bank account so we waited to our final ticket and still left with nothing I feel we should get a coupon or something or a gift card of at least 50 bucks this is the thrid time being treated like this the person i talk to thru corporate says someone gonna call n thats how she handled which didnt fix it and when I got my call wasnt even thru who was to call to point he made me feel as if he calling me liar I just wanted a nice dinner with my husband and this is what we get so he will now have go to bank for a second time once its not pending which is time of work which cost more money olease do something more in teaching your staff on how to fix issues n not just walk away or hang up

roach in my drink
We were seated at table 310 at the Bowie MD Olive Garden and honestly the food was fine until I ordered a drink and it was served to me with a roach in the glass.
The waiter Charlotta took the drink away and took it off the bill. Which was great but we never talked to a manager and essentially I was inconvenienced without having a drink or the coffee ordered.
The bathrooms were completely disgusting and with two children it was hard to take my little ones in there.
The receipt stated the manager was BEN Shifflett. I remember trying to get his attention at one point but was ignored.
This was a very disappointing meal and I feel really dissatisfied with the response by not having a manager to address the situation.
service
I submitted my order online and paid for it. The computer prompted me and said that they needed more time in order to process order. Which meant I had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes. I processed order and arrived at 6:27 to pick up my order and I was told that they never received the order...I then had to reorder and wait I don't know how long for my order. I am so disgusted and upset I have 5 children and expecting my 6 and thought I timed it perfectly to allow my kids to have dinner and get to bed on time. The s has been such an upset in my evening and I am very disappointed with the management at this location.
