I reached out to Olympia Steel to purchase a steel building in March
I reached out to Olympia Steel to purchase a steel building in March . However, as a result of the global pandemic a temporary pause was experienced with the lenders which did not alter my original intent to purchase. In March as I was preparing to move forward changes were being made to increase the price of what was originally agreed upon as well as delivery dates being pushed back. I advised I no longer agrees to the terms being presented and asked for a refund. Initially I was promised twice a refund that never occurred. Then recently presented with 2 options being completely different than what was originally agreed upon.

On April 9th I put a deposit of $6024.06 on a steel building
On April 9th I put a deposit of $6024.06 on a steel building. The salesman told me it was a building they had in stock because someone had backed out on the order and that it would be shipped in May. The end of May I had placed several phone calls to the salesman and got no response. I then emailed customer service and i received a phone call from the shipping coordinator, She informed me that the building was either missing parts because the used them for other buildings or that it was still in production. She did schedule a shipping date of August 2nd to August 16. I reached out to her and the salesman on August 5th and received no response. I reached out again on August 9th. Again I got no call back. I then emailed costumer service again and there response was that the building is in production.

I purchased a building for Olympia steel buildings about 5 months ago
I purchased a building for Olympia steel buildings about 5 months ago. I was told by the salesman I would get the building in about 6-8 weeks. 4 weeks later I am told that it is going to be about 5 months before I get my building. I paid over $2000 more for there building than the exact same building from one of there competitors because I needed it soon. The building was finally delivered but I am still missing my door and I also have a lot of damaged material. I have been contacting MATTHEW IN SALES, ALEX IN SCHEDULING, AND THE SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR ARTHUR. I have been trying to contact all of them multiple times via Call and text with no response. Not to mention they told me everything was supposed to be on one truck. I was also lied to about the lead time on getting my blue prints. It has been a terrible experience. This order has been paid in full.

purchased building on 10/15 by signing contract and giving a 5370.00 deposit. As written on contract the delivery date was april. on May 12 i hadnt heard anything, so i started to try to contact Olympia. i first emailed the salesman, cooper. he emailed back and said he would turn it over to customer service. i heard nothing back, so on may 20th i emailed him again, this time i got no response. on 6/10 i called and talked to Tim. he looked it up and said it showed the building was shipped out on may 18th. i told him no one had ever contacted me about delivery, ever. that was the last time the may delivery was brought up. on 7/9 i got a email from alex that said i refused to schedule delivery, so it would be more money. on 7/21 alex called and said on 11/17 a lady named shayla called me and i refused to schedule delivery, which not true. i was never contacted by anyone. now they want $18000.00 more.

Purchased a 40x60x14 building with Wainscoting and painted roof from Olympia Steel Buildings on 10/29 for $23,000
Purchased a 40x60x14 building with Wainscoting and painted roof from Olympia Steel Buildings on 10/29 for $23,000. I was told delivery would be mid Dec. I called once a week to find out when my building would be delivered. When Alex answered the phone he told me it would be another week before he knew anything. Before I signed there contract I told Alex I didn't have extra funds to play scam games and was paying out of pocket. He assured me once the contract is signed it is set in stone and can't be changed. I recieved a call today March 10 from Alex and he said he can get me a delivery date for May but unfortunately due to the increase in steel prices they need to increase the price $15,000. He said my deposit is non refundable and I can either pay them $15,000 more or loose my $6900 deposit. I have hired a lawyer that will cost me additional money and months of headaches. I have a 40x60 hole in my ground and no building to put on it.

On 8/6 we signed a contract with Kevin, for a 45'X70' building for $37,365 with a down payment of $9,341
On 8/6 we signed a contract with Kevin, for a 45'X70' building for $37,365 with a down payment of $9,341. We were told 3 weeks for stamped blueprints. After hearing nothing from Olympia I emailed Victor who said he would look into it. Never heard from him again. After calling all of Sept. a woman named Misty said they had a fire at a facility and our building would be delayed until Spring 2021. During Jan. & Feb. Alex and I exchanged calls to discuss delivery which Misty said & agreed upon Spring of 2021 with the exact date of June 18. Alex & I spoke numerous times in March & May about delivery & how to store my garage. He even said good thing we ordered when we did! Now.. 8 days before delivery Alex calls me and says not only can my building not be delivered next week but they want an additional 25k for inflated prices! We have a signed contract, land dug., etc. Vic called and demanded more money & was incredibly obnoxious and loud! EXTORTION! We hired an attorney!

We ordered a steel building from Olympia Steel back in August
We ordered a steel building from Olympia Steel back in August. We gave them a deposit of $5,860. We were delayed until November with obtaining the building permits because of the Pandemic. I explained numerous times that we could not take delivery until May. They told me there would be a 15% increase if I wait until May. I told them I shouldn't have to pay an increase because Matt A the salesman told me someone had ordered the building and did not take delivery and that they had it on site. I did not hear from anyone for 3 months. I finally got a call from a disrespectful man who was yelling at me on the phone. I told him I wanted to speak with someone about setting up the delivery for May and didn't want to pay the 15% increase. He had a guy named Tim call me back. Tim passed me along to another guy who said they would charge me a 58% increase ($10,000) but might be able to talk them down to $7,000. This is extortion and they lied to me about the building from day 1.

Purchased a building on 4/12 for $22,000 and placed a $6,600 deposit
Purchased a building on 4/12 for $22,000 and placed a $6,600 deposit. Was told building would be ready for delivery in May and that engineered plans were included for building and concrete. Concrete engineered plans were not actually included and cost me an additional $2,200. I was contacted until early June and they told me building estimated delivery was between 8/30 - 9/13. On 7/27 was once again contacted by Olympia Steel stating their would be another delay in delivery but could not give me a date of delivery at the time. Due to the continued delays in delivery I was not going to be able to take delivery of building. On 8/2 I contacted customer service and informed them I would like to cancel an order. They said a manager would contact me. I was not contacted until 8/11 and was told the deposit was not refundable. I feel that the misleading information that was told at the beginning and the continued delivery delays should warrant a refund of deposit.

On July 31st I paid a deposit of 18,000.00 to Olympia Steel and signed an agreement for a building 60x80 with delivery date promised in
On July 31st I paid a deposit of 18,000.00 to Olympia Steel and signed an agreement for a building 60x80 with delivery date promised in October (or earlier as per salesman Matthew H). I was promised a PDF files ASAP and provided selection of colors for the building over the phone. Preliminary PDF files were received on 8/31 and those were incomplete but sufficient to initiate the concrete pad work. On 10/1 I contacted Matt expecting imminent delivery and was assured that he has contacted shipping department. On the next day 10/2 Matt told me the shipping department has my project and the booking letter will arrive shortly. I was told as well that there was a fire in a factory and that delayed things by a few weeks. I was told that as soon as the building arrives on site I will need to make the remainder payment of 46,800.00 as CAD. Being a physician (quite busy with COVID and so on) I could not have afforded wait on site and believing in the integrity of Olympia Steel to adhere to the contract and promises I paid to them the remainder 46,800.00 on October 26 (Katie Di processed the paiment). Multiple texts in October were made to Matt about the delivery date replied by the usual excuse. And so finally in November, 18th 2020 I was contacted by Alex N who told me that I have to make a color selection. (I did this with Matt in July 31st or August 2) So by November 18th it looked like they have no even started any production on my order from July 31 with delivery in October? Following month December 23 Alex told me it will be January . On January 3rd I sent an email to Alex asking about the delivery again. (from ordering to now 6 months). I told him if Olympia can not deliver at least to refund in full my money 18,000+46,800=64,800. Next day he called my and informed me that there will be another delay to at least April. When I asked for refund he changed to being quite rude and disrespectful informing me that I am breaking the contract and will not receive significant portion of my payment as per contract. Their date in October is just an estimate he said. This is scary. Now that I red the small print I realized I had no rights. The can deliver in 100 years (dat is just an estimate) and I have no recourse especially since the full price was naively paid. One think I believe they promised in the small print is to act in good faith. Did they? A the service chair of the department of medicine in the biggest hospital in *** I come across many issues. Unfortunately, it has been a rather negative learning experience.
