Dear sir,
My broadband Internet Service ([protected]) were not working since 10th August 2017. I placed a call to the customer care center on 16/08/2017 and registered a complaint having complaint no-[protected]. After 3 days of registering the complaint, some one from near service center called and informed me to send the modem to them.I did the same, they do refreshment but still the same result. Since then i called customer service center so many times and re registered the complaints on 24/08/2017 with complaint no:-[protected].I received a message stating that the problem will get solve within 24 hrs, but there were no followup from omantel side. No one called me or came to check the connection at my home. Now a days the connection is very poor as like there is no use with internet

payment not update in our account
Our Account Number Is [protected] (Business), We maid Payment Ro.212.800 in Oman National Engineering & Investment Co. On 08/08/2017, But Until Now Not Credited in our account, Payment Was Cheque, Today Our account is inactivated regarding this payment, I check With Oneic counter in ibri, they give to me payment posted details (attached) it was done on 10/08/2017, today we suffered regarding this issue, after that ibri Omantel Branch manager Temporary active our account .so please take immediate action for this matter it will highly appreciate.
my landline is not working and nobody is answering my calls at both head office and customer care/service centre
My landline is not working. I have changed the batteries on the phone, checked the wiring - as much as is visible - and no breaks or damage that I can see.
I have called both - [protected] and [protected] - and neither is answering my call. Great for a telephone company/ provider! Not even a message to redirect the call or explain why no answer.

I was trying to make payment to Oman Tel bill was amount 18.500 on 05.08.2017 but unfortunately transaction has been cancelled and payment has been hold so i called the NBO customer service and Oman tel customer service also and Nbo customer service executive said that this amount has been hold by Oman tel but Oman tel said here no any amount holding you by our side.
So i could not understood that why my amount has been hold and why is not been unhold because its going 15 days now and i have to pay my Oman tel bill before end of this month because due date is 31.08.17.
So please Unhold this amount ASAP.

My mobile phone was "no service" on Thursday, I went to Omantel, did the classical procedure by taking of the SIM card and on again but still not working! they changed my SIM card on that same day but on Sunday it happened again! I am actually in Europe so can't go to an Omantel office and my phone is not providing any service! I can't give or receive calls or text messages! This is unbelievable...what can I do now? Pay my bill and don't benefit the service? Omantel have poor quality service...after 10 years as a client, internet and telephone, I have to say it is expensive and really poor quality !

Our internet is not working for 3 days. Technician came 2 days ago because someone elses report. The whole building not getting any signal, not even telephone line from the box on the street that what the technician found out. Everyday im getting different answers from omantel on the nr 1234 . I explained the problem also what the technician found out and told me. Nothing happenning.
No one is calling us back or do anything about our complain. Even if thats what omantel promised, they call us back within 24 hours.
Every day im calling them as i have a feeling if i wont nothing will happen.
Urgent reaction would be higly appreciated.
As we are the customer and im not willing to pay for a service what im not getting obviously. And im the one keep on chasing them ... so i believe something wrong here... im paying and not getting anything ...
Amount deducted from my bank account for no reason
A total amount of omr. 22.000 has been deducted from my bank account as follows :

Total of omr. 22.000!
I do not have any subscription to omantel of any sort! how has this amount been deducted?!
When i called the customer service center, there was no answer or someone kept disconnecting my call!
How is the company authorized to do this?
How did the company get hold of my bank account details?!
I need an answer!
wrong billing
For my landline [protected], i requested to disconnect it in January 2017 at the Ruwi high street Omantel outlet.
This was because i was shifting to Bausher area.
The staff told me that disconnection is done after doing all documentation.
Now, in April, i got a bill for the disconencted line for the period January till April.
I complained to Omantel call centre (complaint no. [protected]) on 9th April. They asked me to pay the pending bill amount first before proceeding to cancel again. So, i was forced to pay it ro 140. Now, the line got cancelled only in April 2017.
Till now, Omantel has not reverted to me about my above complaint.
I request Omantel to check why the line was not cancelled. Please refund my bill paid for the cancelled line.

It has been more than 3 weeks since I have applied for location change for an existing broad band ([protected]) connection in Adam branch. There is no response from any related authorities till now even after several follow ups. The matter was registered in Omantel Adam Branch and they were forcing to cancel the existing connection and take another connection.
I clearly doubt the delay is might be due the denial for a new connection, as the cancellation process includes charges.

Dear Omantel, My Internet Services were not working since 14th of March and i logged a complaint on 16th of March having complaint no-[protected], After that i called customer service center so many times but there is no followup from omantel side. No one called me or came to check the connection and on top of that i received my monthly bill yesterday. How will i pay when i am not getting any services from your side?
Wifi not working since 2 weeks

It has been 2 weeks my wifi has stopped working, and i have complained about it on 31st of march. They have said me the technician would have come but still i have no news about it. 3 days before i had contacted the Omantel call center and they gave me instructions how to make it work, i have followed their instructions ans it had worked until last Thursday, but problems have occurred like it stops working after Maghrib. and starts working from morning 9 until maghrib. I would request you to send a technician to repair it
It's been 2 months since my wifi is not working properly and i have called the call center 6 times in the last 2 weeks and all they say is 1: you have to reconfigure it, and i have reconfigured more than 10 times but it doesn't show any difference. 2: switch off your modem for 15 mins we'll refresh it. These are the only 2 things they say. I'm seriously fed up of using this [censored] internet. Is it worth paying 20 omr/month for the internet that gets disconnected after every 5 mins?! My home broadband connection and land line have been stopped working since last Tuesday onwards. I have raised a complaint next day in the morning 22nd March 2017.
The complaint booking number is [protected] and I got a message that i will be getting update within 24 hours.
Now it is the 8th day I am suffering without Internet and land line connection.
Three days before I got a call from someone introduced himself as Omantel technician and I provided the location details.

An account of getting the Internet connection of Home Broad Band unlimited S / Fixed to my Home, I submitted my application through your Alkhoud Round About Brach office Incharge Mr. Khaloud Abdullah Al- Balaushi on 08/02/2017 and I got my request Id bearing 127986. On the day itself, I received SMS from Oman Tel office pertaining spot / vision inspection by Oman Tel‘s Employee or Engineer to my Home.
In order to spot inspection for giving Brand bond connection at my home, An Engineer of MHD visited my home, who took photos of my house and wrote the Fiber Optical connection junction number that are located behind my house.
On succeeding week, Three Nos Technicians, /Skilled workers who visited my house and provided connection from one joint of” Fiber Optical junction” through land to my home (fixed small box inside my house) and I put my signature, as they required, in a form even though I was unaware the status work completion, subsequently, following day they came and completed their work.
Successively, I received a phone call from Oman Tel office pertain the status of Technician /skilled workers work, and that Oman Tel office confirmed the work completion by technicians and consecutive day, an officer /Engineer from Oman Tel office visited my house and fixed HUAWEI Modem in my house who asked me” not to disconnect the modem from electrical power connection for forthcoming/ next three days”.
Beside that I waited for three days for arrival of Oman Tel office’s Engineer giving internet connection to my house nevertheless it was fruitless. Meanwhile, I contacted the Oman Tel office and explained all above mentioned manifestations to them and requested to give Home brad bond fiber Optical connection at the earliest .The Oman Tel office Explained / replied that the technicians gave wrong connection to my home through OODEROO Fiber Optical junction instead of Oman Tel Fiber Optical junction .
Later a week, some technician arrived to my home and provided fiber optical connection through land from another Fiber Optical junction that belongs to Oman Tel (Fiber Optical junction).
Then, I did not receive any phone calls from Oman Tel office furtherly; however, I contacted the Oman Tell Office more than 07 times through their Toll Free number last week. The Oman Tell officer responded that the Oman Tel office conveys information to the concern Engineer/technicians/Skilled Technicians for identification problem at the earliest.
Sir, accordingly, nearly more than one month concluded, thus I request you to take prompt action to give Home Broadband unlimited S/Fixed connection as soon as possible to my home.

Home broadband connection
Hi,
I have been using Omantel for the past several years however for the past 14 days my home broadband stoppex working suddenly. We have done several follow ups and get empty prmises that someone will 'certainly' come to fix the problem within 24 hours, but no one has come, despite many follow ups. In the meanwhile the bill is also issued without us using the Internet.

Omantel wifi internet service
Dear Omantel Customer Care,
I am using Omantel internet WIFI service since 2 weeks and it is working satisfactoty. Since 4 days i had a problem in the network modem and i registered a complaint in Omantel for the same. My mobile number is [protected], with this you can track the record.
Is this type of service you are providing to your clients for individual customers. Already 4 days are done and required more 2 days for a Omantel customer to visit my home and rectify the issue. If this problem continues further then I have to cancel the service and go for someother broadband network service.

Complaint about customers service
Earlier we were using adsl internet and recently changed to fiber optic and we were suppose to receive a head set which were not given. We have called 1300 more than 10 times and they asked to visit near by office i went there and told them thr whole story and there reply was to call 1300. Its a month past now. Out email address [protected]@omantel.net.om was blocked when i asked them to cancel only adsl the email address is one of our needed one which carries confidential information. Appreciate to take an action as i didnt receive any support from omantel call center or office. They just make you run
Appreciate to get us our headset which was part of fiber optic package which is not received.
