This would have been fine, except that the shipment was delayed by a day, which completely ruined my project.

I was shocked and frustrated that they would not refund the entire shipping fee, especially since they had been fraudulent about their services and had ruined my project.
I tried to explain to Jasmine that UPS guarantees all their next-day shipments, and that I could get my money back through them. However, she was unhelpful and simply told me to call back the next day before hanging up.

There are only about 50,000 of us left (pre-covid, even less now), so it's a big part of my life.
When the sales rep read my email back for confirmation, she read the "culturelost" part and scoffed. She said "really..." in a tone of disdain and continued with the rest of the email. I don't know if she's a racist and was bothered by the fact that I come from a culture that has suffered loss, or if she's an SJW and felt like my name didn't look "ethnic enough" to have cultural genocide play a factor in my life. Either way, it was completely unacceptable and made me feel really uncomfortable.
I'm also worried because this person has access to my card number and could potentially mess up my order on purpose. It's not a great feeling.
