We have been a loyal and valuable client for over a decade. O'Reilly's delivers us parts daily, on or about the day of 9-25-23 a driver named Kevin from the store #3904 came to drop off parts as usual. When he was leaving our property, he was backing up and would have hit one of our new trucks. Our employee named Steve tapped his hood and told him to watch the truck parked behind him. Kevin started yelling and said that he had seen the truck. Steve said I just didn't want you to hit it. Kevin proceeded to get out of the O'Reilly's truck and got into Steve's physical space and told him that he was going to kick Steve's [censored]. So, at this point Steve told Kevin the same thing and a few of my other employees got involved and broke the altercation up. We had a full investigation and interviewed each employee and got their version of events. After our investigation we decided to write Steve up and part of his punishment was he had to go and apologize to Kevin. I Jerry "President of Anytime Septic, Inc. 681944" called to the store on 9/28/23 at approximately 8:29am to explain to the manager the situation. I explained to him that we cannot have anyone influence a hostile environment on our property. The manager told me that he knew Kevin and didn't believe things happened the way I am saying. I told him nevertheless this cannot happen again, and I want to know what he has done to ensure this doesn't happen again. He pretty much told me that he wasn't going to do anything. I told him that if that's the case I cannot allow O'Reilly's back on my property intel I have written response on how this problem will never happen again. I even asked the manager if he was going to write Kevin up and acted as if he wasn't. This is unacceptable.
Desired outcome: I believe Kevin needs to be written up for his actions. If this happened on my customers property, he would be put on unpaid leave intel we investigated the whole story at which time with these results he would be fired.
