I got a used car from them 5 months ago
I got a used car from them 5 months ago. It had 61k miles on it and now it has 2500 more miles. We had to spend $3000 to keep it going and now they say we need to replace the engine at 63k miles. They never checked the car at Laurel, our mechanic said they never did basic things like lubing and filters before selling it. It passed inspection, but I don't know if they are good enough to do a good inspection. Now we owe $9000 for a car from Ourisman of Honda of Laurel that we have to scrap and we have no car to drive. All of this happened in just 5 months. I am really disappointed and feel like they tricked us at this used car dealership.

They even said I could afford an extra 50 bucks a month, which is not true. I told them how much I could afford, but when I got my loan, it was way more than we agreed on. They also took off 1k from my car's value for no reason, even though I just got it serviced. They wouldn't give me a refund for the service either. I wasted almost 500 bucks and my financial situation was insulted. Not cool.

I sold my 2019 Honda Pilot to Ourisman Honda on Nov 6, 2021 and they owe me $5,994.68. It's now Dec 3, 2021 and I still haven't received payment. They promised me the check within 5 days when I visited on Nov 23, 2021, but that didn't happen. If I owed them $6,000, I'm sure they would have come after me. It's a long drive for me to get there, and I can't get in touch with management. They're really dropping the ball here.

I had a problem with my car engine making a ticking noise, so I took it to the service department at Ourisman Honda of Laurel. They charged me $190, but didn't diagnose the problem. They just looked under the hood and saw that I had aftermarket parts. They said that the issue was because of the non-OEM hardware and that they wouldn't do any warranty repairs. This is against the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. They charged me for a service they didn't provide and won't do any legitimate warranty work. They didn't even try to diagnose the problem to see if it was caused by the non-OEM hardware. They just took a quick look and kicked me out. I've had my car serviced here before and even had repairs done after someone broke my window. I never thought they would lie to me and treat me like this.

I was thinking of buying a used Honda Fit, but I didn't decide to purchase it. Ourisman Honda ran a credit report to see my credit score if I decided to buy a car from them. I gave them my personal information to get the credit report, but I never said that I was buying a car. I emailed the sales associate that I wasn't interested in buying a car. However, Ourisman Honda used my personal information to apply for a car loan through *** without my permission. This is criminal. I have all the paperwork about this complaint.

It's been two months since I bought my SUV and they said they would give me my money back, but now they're saying they won't. I have to drive there again and let them keep my car overnight, and now they said they will give me a rental. I've talked to so many different people that they can't get their story straight. All I want is my money back, the $2500.00 I paid. This dealership is very unprofessional and rude. They told me to take them to court. Now that I've complained online, they want to help me. I've never had to pay a dealership to recondition and fix my car like I had to do at Ourisman Honda of Laurel. They charged me for a reconditioned fee and to fix the bumper and scratches on the passenger side.

I got my car from Ourisman Honda of Laurel on 05/15. I gave them $11,000 cash and paid for tags, tax, and title. They said they'd pay me for the transmission flush, but they haven't yet. They also said they'd find out why the brakes that they said were fixed before I bought the car are going out. The GM offered to buy the car back from me for $11,000 minus tags, tax, and title, but he took back his offer. They gave me an inspection report that said they fixed the brakes before selling the car to me. They told me I had until the end of last week to decide whether I want them to fix everything that's wrong or buyback. I don't live near the dealership and don't have a ride. The GM took back his offer, and now the car is stalling out. It's a lemon.

Ourisman Honda Of Laurel is a great place to buy a car. They have a lot of options and the staff is really friendly. I went there to buy a car and I was really happy with the service. The salesperson was really helpful and he showed me all the different cars that they had. I ended up buying a Honda Civic and I love it. The only problem I had was with the financing. It took a little longer than I expected, but it all worked out in the end. Overall, I would definitely recommend Ourisman Honda Of Laurel to anyone looking for a great car dealership.

So, my stepmom and dad went there on October 24th and gave Lamont J. my deets. My stepmom even texted him my info so he wouldn't forget. But then Lamont changed his tune and said I'd only get $100, even though my car payment is way more than that. I called a bunch of times and they kept changing their story - first they said my parents didn't refer me, then they said I had to be there with them, then they said I had to call before they came. But none of that was in the email they sent me! I've been promised call backs that never happened and they said they'd "escalate it to the general manager" but I still haven't heard anything. And I still haven't gotten my $100.

I bought a 2020 Honda Civic from Ourisman Honda Of Laurel on 2/12. Gave them a check for 22,988.30, but they submitted it twice for payment with missing info. The bank received the draft with someone else's check on the backside. I went to the finance department on 2/23, and they said they were waiting for the check back from the bank. On 3/4, they submitted the draft again with endorsement info missing. I contacted them again, but they put me on hold and transferred me. Finally, my husband contacted them, and they said we could bring another check. It's unacceptable that I have to take time out of my day to ask them to scan the check properly. Honda needs to get the check from the bank and walk it into the bank since they can't scan a check properly.

I found a Honda 3 for sale online at Ourisman Honda of Laurel. I bought a used car on July 9, 2022, listed at $10,000 on the website. I test drove it and decided to buy it for $9,500. The salesman said he could do $9,000 but would take $500 off the protection plan. I asked if it was optional and he said no. It was not listed on the itemized receipt, but the list price went up to $10,000 on the receipt. I waited for financing for over 2 hours. The financing person told me about the warranty, 3 years or 50,000 miles. I asked if it was included and was told yes. I signed the paperwork at closing time. The final number was $15,223.94. I looked at the contract and discovered that if financing did not go through, the car must be returned, but if it does, the sale cannot be canceled. I called the bank on Monday the 11th and was told they did not have a record of it yet, so I could not cancel the loan and needed to talk to the dealership. I called the dealership and stated my issues. They said they could take off the protection plan and the warranty. I asked if I could come in tomorrow to sign updated paperwork. The sales manager said the bottom line all in and out the door would be $15,223.94 without gap insurance or $16,000 with it. I did not get an answer to if I could return the car. I asked if I could think about it for 12 hours and he said sure. Even though the final price was what I was expecting, I was extremely unhappy with the service. I want to return the car and give my business to another company.

But when I got there, he wasn't there yet. *** said he'd be there in an hour, but then later said it would be closer to 11 am. I had to leave because of my wife's work schedule and taking care of our baby. I told *** I was disappointed that I had to waste my time waiting for the ding guy when *** didn't even know when he'd be there. *** got mad and said I rescheduled multiple times, but that wasn't true. I only had to cancel once because of my baby. *** got even more mad and wouldn't let me talk to a manager. He told me to leave and I felt threatened. I've never been treated so badly by a customer service guy or a manager before.

Deceptive billing/financing changes after cancelling extended warranty the day after vehicle purchase. I purchased a new VW on 4/14. The promotion running at the time was 0% financing for 72 months, with 180 day deffered first payment. When I was signing paperwork, the finance person said I could cancel the extended warranty within 30 days of the purchase if I decided to change my mind. I called and emailed the finance department manager (Walter ***) the next day to cancel it. The cancellation was not processed until 4/29 by Mr.. Upon confirmation I inquired about what my monthly payment would be. He told me it would be the same. That did not make sense to me since the amount financed dropped significantly upon the cancellation of the extended warranty. Over the next 3 weeks I tried to get an explanation of how that could be possible since the loan was 72 months but the amount decreased before my first payment. I was told it just dropped the payoff time to "66 or 67 months" and the "loan terms did not change". Still confused, I tried to have an email exchange with Mr. and it got nowhere. He said, "I'm not sure what I am saying that is not crystal clear". After going back and forth a few more times I understood what he was trying to say with the cancellation acting as a "payment", however, my payments were deferred 6 months so the 72 month term still would apply to a lesser loan amount. Trying to get an explanation as to how a monthly payment could not drop to a lower amount, I was disrespected and ignored. To avoid losing my temper, I had my wife call to try to get a better explanation. Instead of a professional conversation, she was met with even more disrespect and was told that the conversation was "not even worth his time". There was improper, unprofessional, and extremely disrespectful behavior conducted by this individual. This is totally unacceptable. I informed him that I would file a complaint with ComplaintsBoard.com and the dealership would lose the potential business of my family members inquiring about a car since they liked mine, as well as, the fact that I plan to take my car to another dealership for service.

Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel MD keeps sending emails and postal mail despite me unsubscribing and calling their general manager to stop mail/email. In 2017 my wife and I purchased a vehicle form this dealer. Shortly afterward Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel began sending advertisement postal mail to our home and advertisement email to my inbox on a weekly basis. I clicked the unsubscribe button at the bottom of each email, which reduced the number but as of 3 years after buying the car the unsubscribe has yet to permanently stop all email. Likewise in 2017 I called the dealership and spoke to someone claiming to be a general manager (*** - no idea if he actually was a general manager) and requested they cease all advertisement mail to our home. This too has yet to cease. In fact, it has followed us on our military move overseas. I did learn that they use a third party advertisement company, verified by the advertisement company when I called it to be unsubscribed from the mailing list. They obviously did not care about my request either. We have no intention of moving back to Maryland, and even if we did get military orders there, I would not use this dealer again since they clearly have no respect for their customers' requests to cease the pestering and harassing mail and email. I have a stack of postcard style sales flyers, as well as a stack of sales flyers sent in unmarked envelopes - assumedly done so to disguise that they are unwanted advertisement mail and prevent return to sender. In summer 2017 I began writing arrival dates on the unwanted mail. After 4 years there is a small storage bin dedicated to their junk mail which is now half full. The most recent of the emails arrived today. Listed below are the emails I didn't delete, mark as spam, or weren't automatically flagged by my email program as spam.
