advertises for seniors 50 yrs old +
They are letting a lot of people under 50 years old on their dating web site. I have seen people on in their 30's and 40's. The other complaint I have is I wanted the 3 month membership for their 50% off deal. When I gave my Debit card information they put me through for the 6 month promotion and they charged my debit card as a credit card so they got me for $3.99 too That is not right ! Between the false advertising and the bait switch job that has to be not legal. I did not touch anything for a 6 month membership and all of the lengths of memberships were for a 50% discount. I went in and clicked to void out the auto renewal. A message came up and asked me why and the space would not take my reason why when I tried typing it in.
tried to cancel several times
I signed up for one month and have been trying to cancel for 3 mos. Each time it tell me to remove automatic renewal and when it get close to cancelling it renew itself. They keep stealing from me. I will have to cancel my card and that will put me in a very bad position.
I saw a similar dating scam on CB called "Ripberger Maguire". I think it best to avoid these pay for play dating deals.
cancellation and then charged my account for another 3 months
First you had a scammer by the name of Thomas Grapes claiming to be an art dealer. After 2 weeks asked for over $5, 000.00. I have his emails and texts should you want then, but I was unable to find him once we were communicating my cell phone. Second I went in and took off the automatic renewal. Then I decided to completely cancel my account and it cancelled it alright, but it charged my credit card for another 3 months. I checked, no emails, no flirts and to hide my profile. Why would I pay $94.+ for something I obviously will not use.
I plan on reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and make a formal complaint against Our Time.com unless my credit card is not charged and I receive confirmation. I thought Our Time was a decent website, obviously I was wrong.
How can you assist me when you don't even ask for my name, address, email or anything to communicate with me. My email address is [protected]@verizon.net. I would appreciate a response and a conclusion to this issue promptly.

I have had email and phone communication with this guy in Nedrow ny 13120. His name is Joe and he has contacted me on this phone no 706-2767. He seemed to be a nice guy to me and we emailed quite a bit to each other. I then began to call him and we talked for awhile and he does not talk well but he he is a good listener. Any way he was fine for awhile and then he started talking really nasty to me and telling me what he wanted to do to me and could we meet for a good time. I told him no and that I have grown up children and they would not approve of this and neither did I . We met on match.com and I just want to warn people that he is not what he say's. please be careful of whom you are talking too. before it is to late. I really feel this guy will take advantage of any women he comes in contact with. His other number he had me call him on is 469-0496. I really think dating sites do not screen people as they should. This site sure did not. This is a warning to all women do not engage in conversation with this guy. Jenn
I know this guy and you are right about him. I have seen him at Long Branch park trying to pick up women. he drives a grey Ford F250 4x4 and always has his dog with him to try and engage in conversation. Don't let him fool you he is not a Christian guy at all. avoid him and spread the word to all of your friends .He is already listed here on this complaint board for dating abuse. just google dating abuse joe king
Are you kidding?
over charging without my permission
Opened a 6 month contract with "Our Time" Dating Service, on line. A live person spoke with me promising no fees after 6 months. I purposely explained I was homeless at the time and requested a short 6 month contract. The representative clearly stated it would only be a 6 month contract. He said there would be no one reminding me of date. It would NOT be extended without my permission.
I started calling before end of month to cofirm my end date. No response. Tried every day after that with no response.
Finally on line, I saw where the deadline had passed. I do not want this service any longer. I've requested for someone
to call or contact me 6 times now, so I can cancel. I just received my credit card with an $80+ charge to continue for another 6 months. This was never brought to my attention. I do not want to continue with this bad service company. I was misled and lied to. What are my options? Please help as I was misled and never warned of my closing date. Thank you very much
Recharged after contract was suppose to automatically END. Instead, another six months was added on and my charge account charged with not notice to me. I've written and tried to call with no response. I do not like the program and did not request an extension. On the contrary, I was verbally told by a man from Our Time, I would automatically be removed and the account ended upon (some date) in March. Instead I received a bill for over $80 for an additional 6 month contract. I need help getting my $80+ back and closing out my account. Please tell me what I can do to clear this up. Thank you Very Much,
Mary [protected]@gmail.com
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
My account has been corrupted and I can not contact them by phone. They do not respond to my emails.
charges
I signed up for one month. When I accessed the full site via my mobile device, I got a little pop up window offering auto renew. I clicked in the 'x' in the upper left corner, to close that box and access the site. I was instead automatically renewed for 1 more month. Repeated e mails to their Customer Service have brought nothing but auto-responses. Next step is call my credit card company, and spread the word through social media.
I signed up for a free trial and gave them my credit card info. Which they said they needed for the FREE TRIAL. Well, what I didn't realize is that somehow they have me on a monthly billing cycle charging that same card $38.00 every month. I kept receiving e-mail from them in my inbox and I just ignored all but one or two. What finally got my attention was when I received an e-mail thought their site that was from a woman that was simply "horrible" at best. She went on and on about how I was some kind of egotistical S.O.B. and she degraded me and my alma mater -The University of Notre Dame. The profanity used like: "Shut the F*** Up you Notre Dame big shot, etc. was unacceptable. This site should be shut down as they should have some kind of filter in place that doesn't permit profanity and attacks on someone with a healthy does of profanity included. I was mentally and emotionally affected by this woman's e-mail and lost a lot of sleep and stressed over this for weeks. I want a full refund of all charges to my credit card and I want to know what this Company is going to do about this kind of unacceptable behavior on their site.
I wish I never got involved with Our time.com as it has been a rip-off and has actually harmed me mentally and emotionally. I should note that I am disabled due to Clinical Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder & Panic Attacks. Given this condition, you can only imagine the anguish that this woman's e-mail caused me. These e-mail should have been ""caught" by a filtering system that doesn't allow profanity and vicious attacks on members.
death threats by a male user
I recieved death threats from a man I met through this service via text message after refusing to send or accept money through western union to be deposited in his "nanny's" bank for his daughter in a coma I would like him investigated his name is Morgan Padmore from Wa, but the nanny and bank info ate fromGA. He is suposidly 53 as of 2/24/15. He uses Claudette M Wick as the nanny account info, her home address is suposidly: 6727 Judy Lane, Riverdale GA ss# [protected] Please investigste him he has threated to come and kill me he also said he has my information to do so
Fraudulent use of expired credit card
I signed up fro a six month trial. Decided not to continue after a few months. I paid for 6 months at the time. My card expires 3 months after I signed up. I did not update it because I knew I would not be continuing with this service. I incorrectly assumed that they could not use my card because it had expired. When I called them after seeing the charge on my account they offered to cancel but not refund. They also offered to extend one months service for me to continued. I declined and asked for my money back. They said no because I had signed onto the site in January--to check what was going on with the credit card and how they could charge on an expired card. I asked for a supervisor and after being on hold for a very long time was told he was busy and would have to call me back later. I called my credit card company and they explained how this and other companies can get around the expired cards once they have you in the system. The charge were removed by the credit card company and future access blocked. So beware when you sign up for these types of services. They can get you for at least one more round if you are not careful. Sign up is easy they make it very difficult to unsigned.
I just got done doing the same exact thing.
fraudulent charges
PM*OurTime is the same as the OurTime site - it's their management company. I had charges (which I neglected to notice) dating back 7 months. Originally about 3 years ago I was on their site, but they gave me such a hard time about the picture submitted (it was a side view rather than close up full face) that I had written them several hateful letters, threatened to close the account, and subsequently did back in 2012. Surprise to me to find out in July 2014 that they re-activated it and had recurring charges for 7 months till I noticed. So here's the deal, with the conferencing in of my credit card bank, the company OurTime only gave me back 2 months' worth (it's their "policy") and tried to tell me that I used the account. Not true. I closed the account in 2012 after going round and round with them about my photo, so I hate them to begin with, and IF in fact I still had it open I should have had recurring charges dating back to 2012, not July of 2014. I'm telling you all this so you know how they will lie to you. I wrote complaints on the internet at that time saying this was the worst dating site ever, AND my email address had changed since back then, then so someone was using the old email. Still, the bank advised to take the 2 months and let the bank handle the rest, so I did. In the meantime, I'm going to tell everyone about my experience so that this company gets the negative attention it deserves. Do NOT trust them and if you use them make sure you get a confirmation # when you close your account - you might need it later.
unauthorized charges
Nov. 2, 2014 I signed with Our Time for one (1) month time period. In my head, it is a one month agreement.
I know nothing else about computers. I feel they have taken advantage of me without my permission
because as of today, Dec. 10th, I received my mastercard statement with another Our Time charge on it.
I was waiting for some acknowledgement of my time running out and nothing came. In my day, someone's
word meant something. I would like that second charge to be refunded to me. When you make a
purchase with a card at any other store they destroy that number on the card. They do not take the liberty
of re-using it again when they feel like it. This is not an honest way to business. They expect I will forget
and then they can make more money from me. No one was in contact with me, did I want to renew? I won't
sign up again. Lois Bailey
I cancelled my subscription in March of 2015. I just noticed in Feb. 2016 a charge for an upgraded subscription for 3 months. I went back to find that following March cancellation my bank account was charged two additional times in 2015 and once in Feb. 2016. I have submitted a request for a refund from ourtime for this unautoriized charge. By looking at this website I am not hopeful it will get resolved. How can you help?
stole my money
The site ourtime.com ask me to up grade so I went to the store and put way enough money on my card to pay for the site and they said declined and I checked my card and they took the money and then some! I am disabeled and was only wanting to see who wrote to me. now I have no money? my screen name is cookie5454 and now I see where lot's of people are being ripped off! is this how they get on tv?

I already filled this out!
They are a typical bait and switch company that preys on people using the Internet. They "say" they never got your request for a refund within the first three days, but that is a lie. I highly suggest reporting this company to the BBB of your state and the attorney general of your state as well, as I plan to do.
unauthorized charges on account
There are several charges to my debit card unauthorized amount of $52. 27
Each month. I expect re - imbursed and will be contacting my attorney on 09 / 23 / 2014
I expect a reply from you
My email is [protected]@yahoo.com
I just received an alert on my phone about this scam. They just took $35.00 out of my account.
automatic termination
On May 30, 2014 I sent a check for $87.93 to ourtime.com in Dallas, TX for membership in their online dating service. I then created a profile and added photos. Shortly thereafter I began looking through photos of ladies on the site. I emailed a few through the site and received no responses. One lady contacted me and I tried contacting her and received no response. After a couple of weeks I looked at my profile and found that none of my photos were there. I contacted them to find out why my photos were not up. I received an email stating that my membership was "terminated" because they thought it was "best for the community." They informed me that to find out the reason I would have to go through a legal process to learn the reason form my immediate termination. I asked for my money back and they told me that there is a "no refund" policy. I contacted the BBB and I recently received a response telling saying that they had attempted to contacted ourtime.com and received no response. I will NOT recommend ourtime.com to any seniors looking for online dating. They seem to be taking advantage of seniors and are in it only for the money.

fraudulent charges
This is an online dating service. Why does the subject line on these complaints say Moving Company? They charge your credit card without authorization. They are a nightmare and the service itself is terrible. The worst site ever and they keep charging your card even after you check "do not auto renew." They keep changing it back to "auto renew" and when you call to complain, they hang up on you. They need to be put out of business.
fake charges for the registration
I recently found the website of Ourtime Dating service and decided to register there. I filled the form and indicated my card number, and these scammers charged me for the registration, but it wasn’t mentioned on the website that it was paid. When I tried to cancel it, the moderators refused return money and no one explained me why. So be careful and better avoid this scamming website. They need only your money and that’s all. Stay away from them and post comments.

Removed money from my debit card without permission, who are these people or companies doing with?
Deceptive practices
Deceptive practices ! They tempt you with people who are interested. Then try and get you to pay a fee in order to talk to them. Once you pay you find that the people were not interested.
Their advertisement does not require you to pay a fee. Once you pay you are required to pay a second fee. Then every month you will have to pay again. The service is non-refundable.
Do not sign up here there like pof they are making up false commercials saying its free its not the web site seems to be joke to
I'm not happy with the site. The respectable photo's I chose to post are changed to only top portions. They let men show leg in their photo's but cut mine off at the waist area. This is not fair practice.
Ripoff! Their customer service, auto renewal and refund policy sucks. Customer service won't get back to you. They do not have a refund policy. If they send you an email advertising reduced renewal rates ($39.95), don't click it. Beware, the reduced rate will only be tacked on to the already ($71.94) renewal rates and the auto renewal does not notify you of pending bank transactions. If you plan on cancelling, send yourself a calendar reminder to cancel before they can get to your bank account.
fake people working for this company
Our Time – is a Dating Service. I signed up on this website in order to find a girlfriend, but after some time of being their member, I started noticing strange things. Most of people used this site during working day but never used it at night. I think there are fake people working for this company.
On Ourtime -- Goes by Simon1261. Is using THIS site as well as Match.Com to cheat on women he's already seeing. He doesn't care who he hurts. His real name is Jeff Bielling. He's using these sites to find other women when he's already dating a friend of mine here in Tallahassee. Spare yourself. Steer clear of this guy.
None of the features available on the site are available to me now
Initial signup and online meeting/dating services were promoted as free. When I checked my account data, I found I was listed as having signed up for automatic renewal and charged $57.95. I called the parent company and the automatic renewal was removed, but the $57.95 charge remained. I've called my credit card company and they said I should deduct that amount from my next invoice while they investigate the company. In the meantime, about five days ago, I've found that all of the features of "membership" that I had been using are now unavailable unless I agree to upgrade for at least $11.95 for six months. None of the features available on the site are available to me now, even though my account still shows I was charged $57.95.
you take 47.47$ on my credit card every month, i cancelled my account 2 months ago, stop it and refund me for two months
I have been contacted by all these women who think I'm a man. Can you refund my fees as I don't want to have this in my life.
33 dollars a month to join(with recurring charges)

Read full review of OurTime.com and 4 commentsyou can't read any messages you receive unless you pay $19.99 a month
Another site where you have to pay. You can't read any messages you receive unless you pay $19.99 a month. You can see who viewed you and view their profile and pics but can't message them without paying. It's annoying that every time you click 'view who flirted with you' it goes to the payment page.
