This company is only after your money
This company is only after your money. They will say whatever it takes to keep your business. I need to cancel due to Financial situations. The agent talk to me into deferring for 2 months. She even gave me the date that they would begin the direct debits again. They debited my account two to three weeks prior to the date I was given. Now I have overdraft fees. I reached out to them to find out why this happened. They told me there was a malfunction in the system and that it must have gotten debited in error. That's really no excuse so again I asked for a cancellation. Now I have to print off a cancellation notice sign it and the only way they will accept it is by mail. I'm out of overdraft fees gas money to *** to buy a stamp and I'm inconvenienced. Their customer care does not listen and they talk over you and they lie to you! Their website has so many negative reviews buyer beware! They made it so easy to sign up but so hard to cancel.

They will not Honor the Contract. They told me the claim is not going to be paid because of the mileage that was reported wasnt correct. They said that when I first got the contract the mileage was incorrect based on the service record that I provided to them. I told him that one information that they were going by or mileage that they were going by the company put down the wrong mileage which was discount tires. They also told me on today that I have toSend a picture of the mileage on the vehicle so after *** miles from today if theres any breakdown it would be coverage.They are making up rules as they go and not honoring the contract. The insurance information that I received in my contract is not listed when I call the insurance company. They said that Ox car care is not affiliated with them. They could not provide me with an insurance statement so I can file my claim directly with the insurance company. Information in the contract is not correct.
So far so good. They have paid to have my oil changed a couple times at my local garage. As far as what the warranty covers, I can't talk to as I haven't really had to have anything done on my vehicle yet.
I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone.I tried to cancel my policy shortly after starting it Due to reviews WHICH I SHOULD HAVE READ FIRST.I was switched to different departments only to be told that I couldnt cancel nor can I get my deposit money back.Everything that was written in the reviews Ive experience it in one phone call.LIES Constantly being switched to different departments.I was asked for my name and number and they would call me back.Never got a call back.Stay away from theses peoples.I really feel like Ive been got.SMDH

This company is a seriously fraudulent. I ordered the "diamond coverage" which had a glitch for every repair--not one repair was covered. I even had my *** manager call them and they denied him after many calls to OX. Additionally, their ads say "immediate coverage?" Lie #2. You have to wait *** miles and 30 days before submitting any thing to be covered. So, I have been trying to cancel this so-called insurance. I have also made 6 phone calls! Then they wanted it in writing, so I sent a letter including page 5 which is "required" to cancel your insurance (which of course, they said they did not receive). So, I sent it certified mail so they could not deny they received it. They are still will not give me a refund? Buyer beware. Do not engage this company! I think those other reviews are false on their website...notice very few low reviews... I couldn't post this on their site. SUPER SKETCHY! How do any of their emploees sleep at night stealing from American consumers?
I was told I was going to get my refund in 15 - 30days tell me why I'm still waiting it's been almost 60days at first they was taking calls for the billing department pertaining to refunds now no answer busy signal I've left several voicemails when it send me to it I talked to several employees which had very nasty attitudes when I mentioned I'm checking on my refund status I wouldn't this so unprofessional and something should be done about this how are they still in business this is falsifying information and theft of funds

And very unprofessional they didn't draft money the next month from my account so I assumed it was done but this month did another draft I called asking why so now I'm being told that they have to send paperwork for me to cancel so I asked why didn't they send paperwork in August when I cancelled no one seems to have any answers, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!

They will quickly get you added as a policy holder and the moment you need to file a claim you get the run around. Calling claims gets you to a person just to put you into queue so the call handling will not be accepted as the high number that it actually is. You are then placed on a 10 min hold to be sent to a general Voicemail that no one ever answers back too. The operators who initially answer are rude and will transfer you without any concerns to your issues. As you are speaking they just transfer as though they dont care because there job doesn't depend on any common courtesy. My car has been in the repair shop for over a week without any response

I FINALLY GOT THROUGH AFTER 4 DAYS OF CALLING AND WAS STILL UNABLE TO GET PROPER SERVICE FOR OUR CLIENTS NEEDS AND STILL HAVE UNFULFIFLLED UNPAID CLAIMS. OUR CUSTOMER IS PAYING MONTHLY FOR THIS SERVICE THAT DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE USEFULL AT ALL. I WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A CAR DEALERSHIP AND I DEAL WITH EXTENDED WARRANTY CALLS EVERYDAY. This Business has operated in SCAM capacity with me. I had a car repair needed and this company has not responded to me after several emails and phone calls by me and the auto repair dealer. It has been more than one month and nothing has been done. I have paid premiums for more than one year yet when I needed to use my warranty Nothing, Nothing has been done.
The supposed supervisor *** at Ox Car Care *** is very rude and condescending. He talk to you like you're bothering him and then says he can't change the way he speaks to you. Not helpful at all and doesn't even pull up the account just gives random answers. Not good for business.

I agree with the rest. They lie to get you to sign up then they tell you the truth like a omg I forgot to tell you? That everything is 100% covered for 50% of the price ridiculously hard to reason with. I asked the rep one last time before hanging up are you sure there are no hidden fees like when I go to the dealership I drop off my car and get a rental and they dont want taxes or anything after 20 min of telling me everything was 100 percent covered he told me that. I told him forget it, thats not what he said and I do t want the service dont charge the card but he had already charged the card and told me they would give me my $49 back and to call customer service in the morning because they were closed. I called the next day and the supervisor told me I paid the $49 to talk to them on the phone for the information. I sent an email asking them to cancel. Y contract and no future charges should be made. My request has not been confirmed and Im requesting the account be canceled and my $49 returned for the lies by the representative. When you call to cancel they wont accept it and then want to know why you want to cancel, When you tell them that you went with another company, they start asking you who you went with, how much you paid and continue on with their questions. I tell them that it is non of their business and they just keep badgering me and will not accept my request to cancel. I cancelled my credit card so they could not continue to charge me but now they have turned me over to a billing service company called *** at ***. I have not paid them anything and need them to cancel this, as I have called to request at least 4 times! Also, they have told me that they know how many times I have called to request a cancel and they say that I keep hanging up! Well, thats because they have refused to cancel this service plan and just keep asking questions, This is no way to treat anyone. I hope everyone that is interest in auto care protection reads this and stays away from them!

On the *** they have an ad saying they will cover your claim, in the sales call on the phone they say they will cover your claim, then you pay for the service and they dont cover your claim based on previous maintenance history on your car. What I mean is previous to your signing up for their service, if you do not meet certain service requirements, previous to signing up for their service, they will deny your claim. *** the manager, and *** from The claims department had the worst customer service ever. The manager wouldnt even listen to me, kept cutting me off, talking over me yelling at me, then trying to tell me Im committing insurance fraud, when all I did was submit all the service records they asked for as part of the claim procedure. They do not cover your claim, as well they do not send you in the mail the booklet that gives the service agreements that you just paid for! They put my Gmail account as *** account, so I didnt even receive the service agreement via email. They do not at all hold up their end of the bargain, they do not tell you up front you have to have perfect service on your car to approve any claim, and have absolutely horrid customer service and treatment of paying customers. Its impossible to cancel your contract with them. My mom called the *** ad in June and since then weve called in July to cancel the charge and again this month in August. Ive emailed to cancel the contract, tried calling the third-party billing company MEPCO. In 2 months only two salesmen have answered the Ox Car Care. If you say you want to cancel they tell you you have such a good deal and still do not understand when someone clearly states they no longer wish to receive services and would like to cancel my contract. *** told us to ignore future emails. Yet after calling and emailing, we get billed again. The use of a 3rd party bank just adds to the difficulty in cancelling and is a scam. I cant believe the sponsored ads on *** promote this business. You do not get customer service what do ever. You do get holds, and answering machines no matter what button you press. Its not worth the hours and days that it takes to try to reach someone to say you want to cancel your contract, and then be billed through a third-party, then spend more time calling the third-party to cancel the contract, plus the time to call your bank to try to cancel the charge, and sending emails that no one responds to, so you can keep calling after still being billed. This place is horrible and the service, mismarketing and excuses are unethical.

I have (soon to be HAD) a extended warranty policy. I submitted a request for oil change reimbursement with no response back. I called today to get an update the rep stated it was just sitting on the person who asked me to email to him desk. I then requested to cancel my policy and was told since I'm cancelling I would not be reimbursed for the oil change. Mind you my policy is current. The reps were very rude and nasty and I refuse to give my money to people like that. My daughter (joint policy holder) looked up the agreement to see if there was anything else we needed to do to cancel the policy. She found in the agreement there are some forms that need to be mailed in along with signatures. She called the customer service again to verify we are sending the correct documents. The new rep was also nasty stating just send the documents in. My daughter asked her who the Issuing Dealer is? The rep told her she didn't know and would have to look it up and just to mail it in. My daughter told her to adjust her attitude because she has been a paying customer and look the information up. She placed her on hold and then provided her with the information. They are so nice when they want you to sign up with them but then they get nasty with you when you need to work with them. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends or family.

First of all, ***, my claims rep is the MAN!I had an AC and electrical issue with my beloved 2008 *** Explorer and took it to my usual mechanic.However, because of this other shady warranty company who is represented by a well known rapper and actor, my usual mechanic refused to deal with any more aftermarket warranty companies.I ended up taking my Explorer to the dealership and ended up having the worst service experiences ever in my life.The service techs lied about the diagnostic, wouldnt send the diagnostic information and when they finally did, it was wrong and they quoted the labor and parts prices differently on 2 separate occasions.After 2.5 weeks of dealing with these inept and incompetent service people, I was frustrated to the point of going down there and potentially getting myself into trouble.ENTER ***!*** was not having any of the dealerships BS!He caught them in their lies, called them out (professionally), hounded them into doing their jobs and even documented and copied me on every email communication between him/Ox and the dealership until I got my Explorer back repaired and fully functional.Im an OX Car Care customer for life thanks to my beyond positive experience with my claims adjuster *** and recommend OX to everyone who will listen.My apologies for this long review but with the art of customer service pretty much in the toilet these days, when you run across a company and an experience like this, you gotta let it be known in no uncertain terms.And no, Im not an OX employee, nor was I paid or offered anything for this review.It just is what it is.THANK YOU ***!

When I first signed up I did a post dated check cause I didn't get paid until jan 10 and told the customer service representative and they wanted me to sign up that they agreed with the post dated a check for two days after so the next day I get a message from my bank telling me that a payment went thru and I looked and it was ox car care two days early I contact them and they tell me that oh I see in the notes on the computer that it was ok to take it out on the 8th and I said listen to the recording and call me back so I get a call back and I said now was it told to you on the recording not to take it out until the 10 and she goes on to say I haven't even got the recording yet but this is what we can do and goes to say we can wave the deposit and return it which I was told it would be in there the same or next day but was not in there for 4 days after and I was also asked if I had a cash app card they could put the money on I go to tell them no I don't use those due to what you guys did and so they waved the deposit and I paid $1.00 and on the 27th I found out I no longer will have a car so I called around 5pm to cancel and the laura tells me it's all cancelled and today Feb 19th I get a email saying I owe them $124 and I call to ask why I owe anything but how would I owe a late fee and laura goes on to say the systems hasn't updated in almost a month and just got a email from the day I called to cancel and the into like times didn't match up they say I called at 1034 am and I know I didn't I called at 5pm...i even asked why they didn't give me my $1.00 back when I cancelled and laura goes to say I will do it now and has no answer why they didn't do it at the time of cancelling... I have not even placed enough miles on the truck in the time I've had this coverage! I had an emergency trip to be with my sister in TN from the outer banks of ! I got half way and stopped to fuel up and call everyone to let them know I had made it half way and I always check my fluids and such on a long trip so, I checked the fluids and noticed I needed coolant and bought what was needed and started on the road! All of a sudden I hear a dining *** and looked at my gages and the temperature was wide open and I was just a half mile from where I was so, I turned around, parked, called *** for a tow! They were nice and finally got a tow truck to take my vehicle to the closest Chevrolet Dealership and due to it taking so long to get my truck there it was too late to get a check of everything until after the weekend! I am disabled and have a very limited income and I had been informed in the beginning that anything under the hood was covered and I would receive a rental car until my vehicle was fixed but I had to call my fiance to charge a rental car on his card thinking I would be reimbursed to pay him back! I had to get to my sister because they were amputating her right leg below the knee and nobody else would be able to stay with her! After the weekend I was informed by the company that the waterpump wasn't covered! Plus, no reimbursement for the return car! In the book there's a list of exemptions and the water pump isn't listed as exempt! I then had to borrow the money for the truck to be fixed, return the rental car on April 1st! Then on the 17th I had the transmission go out less than 70 miles away from home and they've yet to do anything! I'm disabled and need a rental or my vehicle!,,,I'm hurt, disgusted, and need help, now! Please, I pray

Where do I start... 1st, OX Car Care sold me this extended warranty with promises of how great this service was.. (typical for sales). 2nd, When I finally did file a claim, after I had met all my contractural obligations, they needed as per *** and *** of Sale or Title of the car -- of which I explained, I wont have that as the car is financed, to which they argued I should have.. After a lengthy argument and lots of yelling, they agreed to a copy of my finance contract, WHICH includes, PII -- illegal to request this and no where in the contract is this stated -- I ultimately sent them a copy and then they approved... but.. and this is a huge BUT.. When I went to actually make a claim, they took 4 business days, plus 2 add'l days over the weekend, to finally talk to the shop, at which point, they denied the overall cost of the *** compressor replacement of $1600.00 and only wanted to pay $511.00 leaving me with the balance. After I called Ox Car Care, *** from Ox Car Care, stated that the shop was charging $800.00 for a new compressor, and that the shop was overcharging for the part as they could find it for $287.00. I called the shop and was told that part is re-manned Ox only wants to pay for a remanned part, and not pay anything over the cost of the remanned part. The shop (if my choice, ASE certified mechanic) wouldn't do a remanned *** compressor (of course, I agree). So, here I am, still with no *** in the hottest months of the year. Ox Car Care can't tell me where I can take my car to get a remanned *** Compressor for only the cost they can find, or they opt not to tell customers because they are only going to pay for the cheapest part that *** can find over the internet by a simple search... AND... 3. Once I file a claim, they want a form signed that will lock you into your contract before they will pay less than 30% of any car repair that they state they will cover. Findings of fact are above -- Ultimately, Ox Car Care is a scam!

The second rep I asked the same thing, he briefly went over some things that were included but not EVERYTHING that was included but did state that regardless of how much the repairs cost I was ONLY responsible for my $100 deductible. I had to pay $171 at the shop. After speaking with a lady name Ellie? I was told that my warranty did not cover my AIR SHOCKS( THE ONLY REASON I WANTED THE WARRANTY, in the first place. BECAUSE I KNOW THEY ARE VERY COSTLY. THE FIRST WARRANTY FROM THE PREVIOUS COMPANY OFFERED COVERAGE, BUT I CHANGED TO OX CARE CAR BECAUSE THEY WERE A FEW DOLLARS CHEAPER) so I spoke with Clayton House( some form of MANAGER).and he said that he was sorry for the misunderstanding of the Air Shocks and that the sales rep that sold me my warranty had got fired, he also had my $71 refunded to me...The problem I have with them is I SPECIFICALLY STATED I WANTED AND NEEDED THIS WARRANTY FOR MY AIR SHOCKS AFTER LISTENING TO BOTH SALES RECORDING HE AGREED WITH ME AND TRIED TO COME UP WITH A SOLUTION...HE SAID THAT THEY WOULD AT LEAST PAY $1000 OF THE REPAIRS AND I WAS SATISFIED WITH THAT.TODAY I CALLED HIM AND HE TELLS ME THAT MY WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER MY AIR SHOCKS. When I asked *** about my refund, he put me on hold and came back and stated it was "pending." When I asked what that meant, he replied, "I don't know, I'm not the bank!" I then asked him (on Friday) when I could expect the refund, he said he didn't know so I asked him to give me a an estimate of when I could expect the refund, he said, "Monday, you asked for a day, I gave you a day!" Rude and worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. Story, I purchased a Platinum policy with them in June on my 2012 Cadillac with *** miles, paid the $149 down payment and was mislead that it would pay for engine, transmission, and A/C repairs or replacements and then continued to make payment of $144.12 for 9 months for a total of *** and then I had engine trouble. I had to take my car to the Cadillac dealership and paid them $475 to determine the engine was going to need to be replaced at a cost of $9000, and had to rent a car for a total of $480 for a week. Should've read the contract, I would have cancelled when I received it as it states they will pay up to a maximum of $5000 or the value of the car, so they offered to pay $3850 toward the repair as my car with a KBB value of $5800 was deemed to be valued by them at the lowest end of the spectrum, I assume, because it was no longer running. After determining it would not be cost effective to persue the repair I called to cancel my policy on or around 3/20 and the representative told me it was cancelled as of that day and I should expect a refund within 30 days. I asked if there was anything else I needed to do and she replied, "No, you're good" I hadn't received the refund so on or around 4/22, I called and was told by ***, that my policy had not been cancelled. I argued with him and he stated the only thing he could do, is cancel it as of that day. I the asked him if there was anything else I needed to do and he said, "No." I asked him when I could expect a refund and he stated, "If you want a refund, you'll need to fill out and send in page 8 of your contract". Well, why didn't you tell me that when I asked if there was anything else I needed to do? I did as I was told and sent it in and called back around the end of May and was to the contract had just been cancelled and a refund would be mailed out to me June 25th. June 25th came and went, still no refund. I called back and that is when I spoke to ***. He was a character. A couple of day later I called to speak with a manager and spoke with *** who informed me I was not not entitled to a refund as per the underwriters. Called back today to speak with a manager to explain to me, their refund formula, and was told someone will call me back, but, I put no faith in that and just decided I need to spread the word far and wide, DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH OX CAR CAR, *** If you do, read your contract, read the reviews, both good and bad and remember, if someone has a plesant experience, the will tell 2 or 3 people, but, if they have a bad experience, they will tell 20 or 30 or in my case, the internet. BTW, there really is NO WAY to verify all the good reviews on here, right? Buyer BEWARE!

Hi, I wanted to complain about this company, I cancelled my subscription and account in October 2023 last year. Yes on October 2nd 2023 I spoke to Angel C at ox they are got a policy for both of my cars and he told me to pay $75 down and then I can cancel before 30 days I I cancel on on October 5th 2023 I called in to cancel they tried to get me to keep the policies I kept saying no no when they transferred me to get my money back the guy told me you cannot get your $75 back because they waved the fee and I asked him why are you guys taking my money I am a senior citizen and they told me I don't care you cannot get your money back so if you see ox on TV Facebook Tik Tok please do not go to their place of business because they're scammers

I was swindled into purchasing an extended warranty that would cover "anything that could possibly go wrong" and for 3yrs and 4 attempts to cancel I maintained this extended warranty thru a pandemic and periods of unemployment I managed my payments because after all I default on the payments I was informed I'd lose all I'd already paid and have nothing to show for it. Now paid off I file my very first claim and after being ignored while my vehicle sat at the dealership 2wks they deny my claim citing a false discovery during inspection that had NOTHING to do with the claim filed. In fact they accused me of not having regular maintenance on my vehicle even though I offered proof of maintenance. The representatives were rude and dismissive and misleading.
Desired outcome: Either a full refund considering the warranty was never provided OR my claim being approved and an apology.

PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMAPNY. Thank God, I never signed up for any services. I initially called them today after hearing their ad on Sirius.After a 2 minute brief on their product, they were trying to sign me up for $250/month service. I never impulse buy, and I told the representative, I needed to discuss thisa with my wife. Well that tiggered something,as the person started getting an attitide with me. Saying, "well this is the sales department, not the quote department!?. What? are you kiding me!That triggered me to end this call and move on. I can sense her trying to pressure me into something and I wasn't going to budge. The "rep", started getting too aggressive so I had to hang up the call. Mind you I haven't provided any contact info besides my name, and certainly didn't approve them to call me. Low and behold, a couple hours later, they started calling me. I told the new representative I wasn't interested and to remove me from their call list. 15 minutes after ending that call, I get another call from said company, and another super aggressive, pushy, condescending person trying to berate me into buying their crap services. I told the person, if this is how you treat customers, then there;s no way I would ever do business with them. This guy never stopped talking. Even over talking me still trying to sell their crap service. It's a true sign something is wrong with a place when they do these type tactics. Please don't have any dealings wit these clowns. You will instantly regret it.

It is almost 2 months and the person Alex has told me he has called and been placed on hold-emailed and replied back someone will be getting back with him. Weeks later we are still doing this! I called Ox care on 2 toll free numbers and the second I got a prompt to leave a voice message which I did yesterday July 19th 2023. I'm beginning to question the legitamacy of this company that ran an advertisement on TV over a year and 1/2 ago as thou this was a good reputable company like carshield and others. Before the work was started it was agreed upon as I witness in the business, so now what is the real problem?

I filled a claim to repair my truck they denied the claim stating that there was a mileage discrepancy a service technician entered the milage wrong back on 05 2020 before I owed the truck I got a hold of the district manager and he said that being three years old he could not know what the true mileage was I have a service record from the ford dealership and it states the true mileage and they want records from the life of the truck but I have only owned it from 03 2021 and it had 153000 so I don't know what I can do when I started the policy I gave them the milage correct I feel they should repair my vehicle cause that's what I have the policy for and I have been honest with them

I'm a very upset customer. I called on 7/12 to purchase warranty from Ox Car Care. I called twice. I spoke to Iysha Merritt at first and then Shawn York. Iysha started out profession and very knowledgeable. The conversation went for a bad turn. I told her, that i need to speak to my family about the coverage before signing up. My father told me about Ox Car Care. She asked me, is it that I don't have money? I got upset and was very offended. Someone such as myself, being in the customer service field for well over 20 years, I know first hand that's not the way to speak to a customer. I asked for her boss. It got worse. I was trying to explain the situation. I was upset. He told me to put my big girl panties on. I get my coverage in the mail and what do I see. Iysha Merritt as the sales person. NO!. She doesn't deserve the commission at all. I spoke to Shawn York and thought he would take the credit. He definitely deserved it. He assured me that, the appropriate department would look into my concern and take swift action. To put the icing on the cake, my due date states 7/28 when it was loud and clear that 8/12 was my confirmed due date. I was told if I put $100 down on 7/12, that I don't have to pay until 30 days later. I'm very upset about this. I will be putting this same message on the reviews. My phone number is [protected]. Ox refused to honor contract; as I am current with my monthly payments they are obligated to pay half my repair bill.
On 6/14/2022, I had previously purchased a policy with Ox which I cancelled. On 11/22/2022, a representative of Ox, Andrew Taylor, contacted me and sold me my current policy for less money than I was previously paying with much better coverage. When he asked how many miles my car had I told him 154K, he seemed to shrug it off and assured me it wasn't a problem. Mr. Taylor shared with me that I was again part of the Ox family; he was proudly providing me with bumper to bumper coverage for five years paying a mere $108,83. During the week of 5/22/2023, my front end was making a loud bang so I contacted Ox and advised Joe's Auto. I garaged my car and awaited Joe to open up space. During the week of 5/26/2023, I was driving to the shop and felt the transmission sticking, Again I called Ox and drove the car to the shop. On 6/3/2023, Joe's submitted the estimate to Ox; by 6/8/2023, we had not heard from Ox so I called them and was promised an adjuster would be out 6/9/2023 but he did not show up until 6/13/2023. I was slated to be out of town 6/15/2023, and after many unsuccessful attempts to raise someone I gave up. On 6/20/2023, Hugh Hinds contacted me and forwarded the Denial letter dated 6/19/23 prepared by Augustin Torres. With the information I knew to be true, I was confident I would be exonerated. At best Mr. Taylor was being kind to an old timer, at worst he lied and mislead a senior citizen as a sales representative of Ox.
Desired outcome: Because Mr. Torres was not privy to the statement Mr. Taylor (as an agent of Ox) made to me on 11/22/2022, I wished to be made whole.
Transmission repair denied
I bought this warranty after I bought my truck used so I thought I was covered. After taking it to a transmission shop they submitted the claim and ox asked for maintenance records. I do all of my own engine oil changes to save money and it is a very simple process. They denied the claim because of this, even though engine oil changes have nothing to do with the transmission having issues, the gentleman at the transmission repair shop told me that he does not understand this logic either. I did find the old carfax that came with the truck when we bought it and it has a record of engine oil changes done by the dealership. I bought the truck with just under 100,000 miles on it and it has about 157,000 on it now.

I purchased ox car care repair warranty on june 22, 2022. On October 2022 i took my car in for repair and paid over $3600 in repairs to my car. OCC said theyd pay 75% and I have yet to receive any payment. My emails have yet to be answered, voicemails yet to be answered, nothing. If I ever get paid what they claim I am discontinuing my business with this horrible fraudulent company.

I was lied to and misled by the sales representative from ox car care. I purchased a warranty from them for two separate vehicles. Unfortunately one of the vehicles needs repair I go to the dealer have diagnostic done the dealer calls ox car care explain to them what needed done and they flat out declined to do the repairs. Trying to say that these components were not covered. In their advertisement they clearly state that electrical is covered advertisement is on the radio on TV and on the Internet. They miss made me Got my money and now they dont want to honor repairs. My vehicle I need a steering angle sensor and it needs a module for the smart window. they tried to offer me a discounted monthly premium and kick the payments towards the end of the contract. That is not helping the cost of repair is $1500, now they are making me jump through hoops to get refund. I was assured by the sales rep that The things I wanted covered would be covered. Now it comes time to pay up and theyre refusing and theyre giving me a hassle on a refund. If they did cover this repair they wouldnt be out any money because of the monthly premiums and over the term of the contract they would get their money back 100 times fold. This is just a situation where they take advantage of a senior citizen and Con him out of his money. They need to do the right thing and pay for the repair as they miss represented this contract.

I manage the affairs( power of attorney) for my 92 year old elderly parents (***). Since July 2022 there has been a charge on the credit card from WEP. We were not able to get information on this company or what this charge is for. There has been no mail concerning this as well. We had to cancel the credit card to get the charges to stop and file fraud charges with the bank. Today the parents received a call demanding a past due payment and left a number. This is the first and only contact we have had with OX *** When I called they refused to talk to me stating I wasn't the customer even after letting them know I had power of attorney and that the credit card was used fraudulently. I then asked generically how does this get canceled the manager *** refused to give me the information. When I asked for the address to send the power of attorney the manager "***" gave me the wrong address. This company uses predatory sales tactics to prey on the elderly and then hides behind another company to do their collections so you can't find out what is happening. I purchased a vehicle contract with Ox car on 1/15, 48 months/75,000 miles. I paid $139 for 2 years, now that I'm done paying I should have 2 more years coverage, however, I'm getting the run around. I called Ox to inquire about the contract and I was told that my contract was canceled for non payment 4. However, money was taken out of my account for 2 years but they said they don't have any record. I don't understand this because I had a claim paid in July so how is that possible if I didn't make any payments? I call Ox they tell me they have no record of that claim from 7, it must be ***. I have an email from *** 7 telling me that I don't have a contact with them, so which is it Ox or ***? I was even emailed a fraudulent contract from *** showing that my contract expired 10/21. I had never seen this contract before today. I have a contract showing my coverage started 1/15. This company is a fraud and a complaint with the *** for fraud should be filed. I still don't know why my contract was canceled I made all my payments and no disqualifiers. I received different explanations, Ox and *** blame each other and neither takes responsibility. This is very frustrating and bad business. There was no confusion when money was being taken out of my account monthly now that I've paid the contract off they canceled my contract for no reason.

I have Ox *** and they denied my claim stating *** book stated two transmission flushes were required. I contacted the *** dealership where my services were completed and they provided me with a bulletin 04/06-029J. Per the dealership the flushes are not required nor recommended. I then phoned GMC the manufacturer and was told they have nothing that states the flushes were required. *** service department asked me to have them call their dealership. I called and relayed the message but the *** representative who was very short and seemed annoyed by my call. I dont do drama so I stated that I would get my lawyer involved if we could not resolve the issue and ended the call. Im not a mechanic and rely on those who are the experts to tell me what is needed. I need *** to contact *** (***) where my maintenance is completed to clear the matter up. I would also like to know if *** follow manufacturers updates such as recalls which would no longer be in the owners manual?
They told me my car was covered completely with their plan. I got a series of charges from them, I paid them because I thought I was fully covered. On June 6, 2022, I contacted customer service to cancel my membership. I inquired about receiving confirmation of service termination. The representative informed me that such proof is not provided. As of June 10, 2022, Mepco, the billing company, continues to charge my account. Upon contacting Mepco, they reported no cancellation request received. Reaching out to customer service again, I encountered only disrespect. The agent was abrupt and yelled, refusing to explain the lack of cancellation proof. I contrasted this with the policy confirmation received upon sign-up, questioning why a similar email couldn't be sent for cancellation. Additionally, my deposit was dismissed as a processing fee, contradicting the initial terms. The company's treatment has been extremely disappointing. Without a formal cancellation, Mepco's charges persist. The company's demeanor shifts from welcoming at sign-up to hostile upon cancellation. Requests to escalate the matter were met with extended holds and unavailability of supervisors. This experience is the worst I've encountered with service cancellation.

Early May 2022, my fiance and I initiated a policy with Ox Car Care two and half months from then our *** broke down, Ox Car Care, refused to pay for towing and the bill of our vehicle once our vehicle was fixed. They complained that we didn't have the correct milage of our vehicle, so we went to the place where we purchased our vehicle and had the owner provide us with documents to dispute any confusion and Ox Car Care still refused and denied our claim after deducting money from our account. I was advised that they would email me information about the program options but I would have to pay $49 for this email. I never received the email. A week or so later, they started the policy by charging me $159 from my account. I made several attempts to contact them, but no calls were answered or returned. When I attempted to have a rep call me back, their system hung up on me. I sent them the below email: Hello, for the past week I have been attempting to get in contact with your company I order to cancel my service. Just like the sales person advised I could do, just by calling in. I was advised that I order to even see what my options for the warranty coverage were, I would need to pay $49. I never received an email with that information. I have not received a call back or had my calls answered. My last attempt was on yesterday where I stayed on hold for over an hour and half before I pressed the button for an advisor to call me back, which let to your companys line to hang up on me. This morning I received notification that funds were pulled from my account from your company. Please cancel my membership as I do not need it at this time as my vehicle is still under the factory warranty. The listed number on the account is ***. Please correct this error as soon as possible or I will be forced to forward this information and email to the Complaintsboard.com. I would like to be refunded my money, and stop their subscription. On Nov. 11, 2021. I was contacted by an agent working for Ox Car Care. I told him I was not in a good financial situation and the initial price was dropped. I told I would check with my husband but I would probably have to cancel. The cost to get an estimate was ***. My monthly payment would be *** every month starting 11/24.I contacted Ox Car Care the next morning. Not 24 hrs later. I spoke to the customer service. Canceled my contract. I asked again to verify that no automatic payments would be taken from my account. She assured me there would be no money taken from my account. On Nov. 24, 2021 at 4:38pm MST. There was a withdrawal of funds from my account. I did not authorize this withdrawal. Because these funds were taken without my consent or knowledge. I had four overdraft fees. These were utility payments so it put me in a bind. As it was a holiday I could not do anything until Friday.I contacted customer service on 11/26 at *** MST. Asked for an explanation and was told the supervisor would call me back in 15 min. I received no such call. I called again at 10:38am MST and asked for the supervisor. After being on hold for 20min she told me that she processed my cancelation and I should receive the *** within 5 to 7 days.No funds have been credited to my account. It has been 8 days. I am unable to call them during their hours of operation, because I work too 5am to 630pm MST. I have left messages. I cannot find any corporate phone numbers or email addresses. I still have no credit for the funds and Ox Car Care refuses to pay for the overdraft fees.

I called oxcar care to inquire about their services. it was explained to me how it works all the details except for one major detail that you have to have routine maintenance paperwork. first of all I bought the car second hand at a dealership and I've moved several times so all my oil changes were different places so that wasn't possible, not once during the whole hour conversation was it explained to me that you have to have detailed paperwork so I called to cancel.. it took first of all over a week and a half for someone to even finally return my calls... so I asked him to please cancel it before the 24th because I couldn't afford for them to take out another $154 since I can't use their service.. I was told the only way to cancel is to submit a letter requesting cancellation with the signature. it has to be done before the 24th it can't be done online can't be done by email can't be done over the phone.. but they had no problem taking my signature over the phone to sign up for the service I'm on a fixed income and I pleaded and played it with them to please please cancel it so the money doesn't come out of my bank account I'm going to get charged extra bank money now because the money will not be in there... I feel this company is taking advantage of people and not explaining the full situation... they refuse to stop my service without a letter he told me to expedite it I go to Federal x in order to expedite it they want $83 I can't afford that now no one can.. so they're going to receive my letter after the 24th which means they're going to take money from me for service I don't want and can't even use... I appreciate your time looking at this matter please let me know something as soon as possible..

Thursday November 2nd I had to stop by and drop off my 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe for service. I made three attempts to reach someone at Ox Car Care, even using the "Call Back" option twice but still to this date November 4th I have yet to have a call back. Yesterday, November 3rd I called customer service because it was my second day without a vehicle and NO call back from *** so I decided to call several times until I got a hold of a live person. The live person *** I spoke to was probably one of the worst conversations I have had in a long time with someone in a support role. After sharing my displeasure of not being able to reach someone to ensure the claim was in and will be approved along with the rental car process since that is included with my policy and my displeasure of no one calling me back after two voice messages I had left... The only response I received from *** is giggling and stating that they are extremely busy and that claims take 24 and up to 72hrs before they can be reviewed. I asked for someone above her because I was two days without a vehicle and I bought this program to avoid such issues but again she said NO with a giggle and stated that her boss was out having a baby. It was at that point I blew up because of how disrespectful she was bing and not a care in the world. Needless to say this company has not fulfilled their promises, they failed to process a claim with me, they failed to communicate with me, they failed at honoring their promise of not leaving their clients stranded - This is day 3 I have been without a car and I have NO approval or denial from the company for the Rental Car. Ox Car Car Warranty plainly out and out lied. Ox Car Care accepted my money and started a warranty membership and turns out that would never cover a claim. We talked about a previous Complaintsboard.com complaint on another failed claim because that person worked for Uber and Lyft, so I said how can you cover me I work for Uber and Lyft, that CS said that person did not disclose it but you are so you will be fine. I paid the $149 on my credit card on Jan 29, 2020, and had to do a 30 day waiting period before I could make any claims on the warranty. I believe on Mar 1st I talked to a mechanic and he said most likely I will need a new engine. So I called the Ox Car on Mar 2nd to cancel the membership because I didn't think they were going to cover a new engine and Susan says yes we cover new engines. On Mar 5th-7th, I paid my next payment of $155.83 So on Mar 6th, I found a mechanic that does engine replacements but he was home sick during that weekend and part of the next week. On Mar 13th he submitted a claim and the Ox Car Care inspector came out a few days later and denied the claim based on that I have Uber and Lyft stickers and Oil Consumption problems and won't cover based on those two items. 1. The person who started the warranty service full well new I drove for Uber and Lyft and also noted that this call is being recorded so you can go back and listen to the call. 2. Oil consumption would be one reason why the engine is failing. they also noted the milage of my vehicle which is 246,000 miles. So certainly the engine will fail sometime in the future. I will also forward this on to the States Attorney for possible fraud charges against this company "fraud: wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain."
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

This company is only after your money. They will say whatever it takes to keep your business. I need to cancel due to Financial situations. The agent talk to me into deferring for 2 months. She even gave me the date that they would begin the direct debits again. They debited my account two to three weeks prior to the date I was given. Now I have overdraft fees. I reached out to them to find out why this happened. They told me there was a malfunction in the system and that it must have gotten debited in error. That's really no excuse so again I asked for a cancellation. Now I have to print off a cancellation notice sign it and the only way they will accept it is by mail. I'm out of overdraft fees gas money to *** to buy a stamp and I'm inconvenienced. Their customer care does not listen and they talk over you and they lie to you! Their website has so many negative reviews buyer beware! They made it so easy to sign up but so hard to cancel.

This is a complete scam...you can never get an answer from the customer service people and when you do submit a claim for what they tell you they cover, they deny it completely and you are stuck with the costs. I escalated this to the supervisor to inquire why my claim was not approved and he stated " they decided that the parts that the mechanic used were not approved parts, so they won't cover it and it was too expensive" WHAT? I have paid my policy and I can't get any of the costs that they claim to cover suddenly they deny it due to the mechanic using expensive parts?!?THIS IS A SCAM ... I am contacting a lawyer to see if I can retrieve some of my money in the last 5 years that I couldn't use for my repairs
I wish I could rate them a zero I was considering taking ox car care on as my warranty company for my 2012 Porshe cayenne I didnt have the money to pay the down payment until 3 pm the next day well *** and what was supposed to be a manager named *** convinced me to give them my debit card information to secure the deal they swore to me that the card wouldnt get ran until they called *** gave the ok to run the payment well an hour before time to call me I get a fraud alert from my bank asking if I authorized a payment on this day for this amount n to make matters worse they tried running the card twice luckily I was able to talk my bank into only charging me one nsf fee so when *** did call me after seeing the money wasnt there I told her what happened n she acted as if she didnt know n she was just as mad as me stated that she was gonna talk to her manager placed me on hold n only thing she came back n said was that they were willing to drop the monthly payment lower by 20 dollars I told her that they need to pay the nsf fee before I do business with them she then stated that she was going to the big boss n get this taken care of after holding 3 to 5 min *** comes back on the line n says the boss is on another call n would call me back in ten min here it is now an hour later n still no call I wouldnt recommend this fraudulent company to no one I wouldnt trust them with coverage on a bicycle please dont do business with these swindlers
