lunch today
I had lunch with a friend today at your Scottsdale (Gainey Ranch) location. I ordered the 1/2 cup of tomato soup and the chicken salad with Fuji apples. It was not edible! The chicken salad had some (dried) slices of Fuji apples (not real apples) and it had a few very dry slivers of chicken with lettuce that was also dry and not crispy or tasty or fresh. It was truly disappointing and I could not take a photo or return it because I did not want to embarrass my friend (as she selected the place for lunch). I live in the neighborhood, but, I doubt that I will be returning anytime soon for lunch. I do like your bread and maybe a coupon for a future bread purchase would have me returning. Thank-you.

service, flies all over pastries
Went to Panera Bread across from Albany Medical Center. First thing we saw were flies all over the pastries, literally in the center of jam filled cookies and covering brownies and scones. Proceeded to order which took approximately 10 minutes with two people ahead of us. Clerks were very slow and I made a request to change the bread on one of the turkey/cheddar/apple sandwiches to a Brioche roll. Food was delivered and there were two of the three sandwiches and mine had a brioche roll as a side, no third sandwich. All sandwiches were the same (turkey/cheddar/apple) but my son got a turkey bacon sandwich. Had to go up and ask for the third sandwich and wait even longer, didn't bother to tell them that the turkey bacon sandwich was incorrect. Staff, although not rude, seemed very unknowledgeable.
All in all a bad experience and the flies on the pastries would literally make me never want to go to a Panera again.
a four cheese sandwich
We were traveling on the Ohio Turnpike somewhere just east of Cleveland when we stopped at a service plaza for lunch around 3:30pm. My wife ordered a pick two menu - tomato soup and 1/2 four cheese sandwich. The four cheese sandwich was the most indescribably pathetic sandwich I have ever seen. I have seen bread buttered better than that. The two slices of bread look like someone sprinkled cheese on it (for a cost of nearly $5).
I took the sandwich to two employees and had them look at the scrawny, emaciated sandwich, and ask them 'Is that it for this sandwich." They said "that's it!" My wife would not let me complain more nor would she take a picture (for documentation) of the aforementioned.
I read your motto about the quality of food you served. The sandwich deserved the word "HYPOCRITE" place on it in capital letters. That sandwich looked like it was dragged out of yesterday's garbage bin. It was the worst food order I have ever received. I will never eat at a Panera Bread.

I see there is a one star for Panera bread. I would not even give this pathetic sandwich or our experience at Panera Bread a one-star rating. Incidentally, we were called by a representative from Panera Bread and she offered to refund the purchase price of the sandwich. She was going to have a representative from the restaurant in question call us for a credit card number, but that has not been done.

product missing from order
I ordered thirteen meals for our meeting on Sunday. When we received the order, one was missing. This made the meeting so awkward as we had to scurry around to call/pick it up/try-to-share-food-with-the-woman-missing-food. Additionally, I called in two extra meals, paid for by my credit card, and when my daughter picked up the missing order and the extra two, SHE ordered a meal for herself. At that point, it would have been good business to comp her meal, or even apologize. Instead of those options, she was treated as if it was an inconvenience of the missing order by the clerk. She picked up these meals at 12:30 on 10/14/2018 at the Panera at the Colonies in Upland, California.
a botched delivery order - never received my food and you still charged my credit card!!
Panera in North Andover, MA 203410
Want to share a bad experience, . Yesterday, Saturday Oct 13, we decided to place a delivery order at your North Andover store (203410). Group onion soup and a kid's caesar salad. I placed the order through your web site and everything seemed fine. The site said delivery should be in 30-40 minutes.
After an hour I called the store and one of your employees looked for my order in your system. He found no information searching by name or address. NOTHING.
We tried to replace the order and the system would not allow us to do so. The employee thought it might be too late, about 2030 for the system to allow a delivery order to be started. He did assure me that I would not be charged for the order. He was very wrong about that! This morning I found a pending charge of $27.36 pending on my credit card.
This is VERY disappointing. You were able to charge me for the order you could not find or complete! The worst thing - you made me disappoint my Granddaughter!
Now I need to spend several hours working with my bank over less than $30.00!
Well, it will be interesting to see if you respond to this information. At this point you have lost a customer, actually several since this will be shared with my family as well.
I hope to hear from you regarding this. BTW, the character limit on your own web site for feedback it much too small. Does not allow for any meaningful comments.
Pending does not mean the charge went through. Wait and see if it shows up on your credit card. If it does you have two months from when you got the credit card statement to protest the charge.
bbq chicken mac
I ordered a large bbq chicken Mac bowl at my local Panera and the chicken on top of my MAC was pink. I was nervous about eating it and picked the chicken out of the meal. Also, cilantro was not a good idea for this dish- cilantro goes very well with citrus-y foods and meals but it tasted gross when paired with this because there was no acid to be paired with. My suggestion is to put the cilantro with the Baja Mac or take it out! The bbq chicken Mac and cheese would've been delicious had the chicken been well cooked and without cilantro.
gift card
To whom it may concern:
I purchased a gift card for my sister on the 4th of Oct, today is the 12th and she has still not received it. I called customer service to find out what's going on and they told me they could do nothing because another Dept. handle's the gift cards so I called them and spoke to someone who told me it could take up to 5 more days before delivery . This is very upsetting to me ...I could have bought a card at the store and mailed it to her in 2-3 days...I thought a plastic gift card online should have been as quick or quicker . This was suppose to be a gift for my sister but has become a headache. PLEASE HELP... K28NKQBC8WZC-4712355...Stan [protected]@yahoo.com

service/ and manager
I feel as though corporate should know how there store is being ran. The manager Becci obviously has an attitude problem especially with employees and customers. The employees while I was there today were all about to walk out of the store because of unfair treatment and obviously favoritisms and not ok. Sent a girl home for having small stripes on her shirt but allowed another girl to walk around in jeans. Watched one of her new employees ask for help and she says to figure it out. My food and milkshakes were delicious and everyone else was a treat to work with. I did not talk to becci first hand but I stood back and watched and couldn't help but speak up because her attitude was disgusting. I really think you need to look into ur management at the Easton, Md store before you start loosing good employees.
modern caprese sandwich
I placed a pick up order(Order#[protected]), part of my order was a Modern Caprese Sandwich it was customized with Garlic and Herb Cheese Spread, I swear that thing was burn and tasted like bbq sauce, I do not eat meat so you can imagine how disgusted I was when I tasted it. I rarely complain about Panera since I really enjoy the food but it pisses me out when something like this happen, it was BURN! How in the world can you give that to a customer?!?!?!
Yeah, they use "smoked tomato confit" which is startling to taste in a caprese sandwich
wrong food
I went to Panera today 10/11. We ordered food to go and the cashier was nice. I ordered two turkey bacon bravos, one with avocado and one without tomato. What I got was one with avocado and no bacon or sauce and one with bacon, no sauce and avocado. I'm allergic to avocado so I couldn't eat it. I work in customer service and it's not too hard to make a sandwich.
chipotle chicken avocado melt
ordered lunch for today and it was not a good experience. I have been a Panera customer for years and was very upset, disgusted and disappointed with my order. I had not dinner last night, nor breakfast this morning, needless to say i was very hungry and looking forward to my yummy Panera warm food.
I too believe in good food, food you can feel good about, can bring out the best in all of us.--today i definitely need a pick up, so soup and sandwich was ordered.
I opened my meal and took a bite.
I can't even described it, the pictures should suffice. see attached
4 cheese grilled cheese sandwich and service
Ordered pick two for dine-in...at 3 pm in the afternoon had to stand in a line of 10 people waiting on one person at a register to take care of the line. Very slow service for hungry people and people in a hurry. I finally called out from the back of the line to the manager who was wandering about behind the counter and ignoring us. There was an elderly gentleman that wanted to pay for a single loaf of bread and needed to meet a child being dismissed from school. The manager finally got some fellow from the kitchen, but things still moved at a snail's pace. I was starving after a swim workout and the lady behind me was in a terrible hurry!
Once order was placed it took at least another ten minutes for he order to arrive at the table.
Ordered grilled cheese which never saw a grill. The two cheeses were barely melted flat and hard and dumped between the bread slices which were never grilled. Ha- ha...not a grilled cheese sandwich! Terrible sandwich and not containing four cheeses as indicated on the menu. Way over priced for what I was served.
The half tomato soup was good.
This is not the first time I have had a poor sandwich served to me. The flat bread with Tomato and Mozzarella which looks good on the menu board came out with the very tiniest dot of Mozzarella I had ever seen! The sandwich was very light on ingredients.
Someone really needs to step up the game with the Papillion Panera. Long waits in line and poor food are inexcusable.
This is not the first time I have had poor sandwiches made and served to me at the same Panera.
customer service
At approximately 11:45 AM on Sunday, October 7, 2018, I attended the Panera Bread in Orlando, Florida off Michigan Avenue. I ordered a Steak and White Cheddar Panini.
After 10 minutes, my sandwich was nowhere near the counter, and two people who showed up after me were ordered, received food, and were eating. My sandwich was on top of the sandwich press and had been sitting there all that time.
I finally spoke up and said, "I've been here ten minutes. I'd like to know where my sandwich is." One of the clerks placed the sandwich that was on the sandwich press on a plate and handed it to me. When I went to sit down, my sandwich was cold. I said, "And it's cold. "
The lead cook on the line said she would prepare me another sandwich, which she did, but she also thought this was funny and was joking around with other coworkers. In the meantime, I waited while a third person was served who ordered after I did. The lead cook's name is Isabella.
I've been going to that particular Panera for 18 years, and I've never been given such rude service before. I spoke to the manager and made it clear I was going online to register a complain. She offered to refund my money. I refused in spite of the fact my second sandwich was not quite as warm as I would have liked.
I was working a second job and coming off five hours sleep. I was exhausted. The least I could have gotten was a little consideration.
My e-mail is [protected]@aol.com, and my cell is [protected]. I am not happy right now.
overall food quality for price
First time and ‘last' visit to Panera Bread Cherokee Street Marietta Ga. Ordered takeout for four. Half sandwiches for two, soup and macaroni cheese for other two. Italian sandwhich bread dry and tasteless. Meats tasted old. No sauce on sandwiches. Wife had tuna salad. She said average. Soups ok but left off toppings. Staff seemed disinterested. Should have been first clue. Over 45 dollars for all did not match quality. Go to subway at least consistent and more reasonable.
size of salads, particularly when ordering “to go”
On one occasion, I got an order "to go" of two full size salads. When I returned home (15 min drive), they were the size of half salads. I called to complain, left a message for the manager to call back and he/she never did.
That was a few months ago.
This month, I got another order "to go" of two full size salads. I should have checked them before I left the store, but didn't. When I got home, there was very little lettuce in either salad, just a small handful. The rest of the ingredients seemed pretty skimpy as well. I didn't call to complain this time, after not getting a call back last time. My decision:
Use the Bel Air, MD location (excellent) and contact you.
We just ate at a Panera in Warrenton off I95 and it was terrific.
I think Panera corporate needs to be aware of the way the Aberdeen Panera is operating.

take out order
We ordered food at Panera Bread in Wyomissing, PA on 10/5 at 6:00 pm. My mom and I ordered three You Pick Two meals for take out and waited for them. Before the woman handed us our bag of food she checked all of the food off on the reciept before handing it to us. We didn't think to check the bag completely because I woman checked everything off. When we arrived home which is located an hour away we realized that the Mac&Cheese from the You Pick Two was not in the bag but we still paid for the order.
employee
I went to the Panera in Temecula California. As my family was sitting there minding our own business an employee came over to make sure we were satisfied, and then proceeded to hold my newborn's hand without asking. I was going to let it slide, but then she did it again! I think that is so rude, I do not know you or if you have washed your hands which is necessary with newborns because they have no immune system! Now my baby is sick and the only other person who touched her was your employee! I definitely will not be bringing my family back to Panera until your employees learn there manners.
rapid pick up
I put my order in online 10 til 5pm, requesting for a later pick up 10 after 6. I walked into the store at 6:15 to see my name on the board to be prepared, 4th down on the list. As i waited i noticed other guests orders were done before me when they had walked in and ordered after me. When I finally received my food at 6:40 i was informed that my order was not complete because they were out of muffies. At this point I was not going to wait any longer so I left with my incomplete order. I got home at 6:45 to discover my chicken frontega was cold and poorly made; the chicken was extremely dry, the cheese was not melted at all, and the bread was not what was usually used. My salad with the greek dressing tasted like nothing. The dressing had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. So I am extremely upset and with this experience doubt I will ever return to this location
sandwich with plastic piece
I used the Panera app for the first time today, Oct. 4, 2018. Great app by the way! I ordered the Pick Two (macaroni with bacon and a customized turkey bacon bravo sandwich; no tomato with extra special sauce). My order was supposed to be ready for rapid pick-up at 2:53pm. When I approached the pick-up line at 2:56pm it wasn't ready but the woman I spoke with said it was coming up. After a short wait (less than 5 mins), I was given my order. When I arrived home, I noticed that my sandwich was not customized as requested. It had two slices of tomato and no extra sauce. I was annoyed but overlooked it since it wasn't worth driving 25 minutes for another sandwich. The problem was the inedible plastic object I found inside my sandwich. I couldn't tell if it was an overheated piece of turkey or a weird piece of lettuce. Upon further review, I could see it was some type of plastic packaging. On top of all of this, I wasn't given a receipt in my bag but luckily I have the order info on my phone. I looked on the Panera website to find a place where I could complain. Finding none, I did a Google search and ended up here. I would a gift card or certificate for another meal.
redeeming a coupon
I received a few coupons for a free you pick 2 and went to the store near my work to redeem them on my lunch. The first day I had no problem doing so everyone at the LaMirada, CA store was nice but my sandwich was soggy and my mac was cold so I go back today to see if I go before the lunch rush and this time they tell me I cant even use my coupon. First off I received them becuase panera was trying to make it right but when you have managers who dont give a [censored] they tell you no. I just want to know how Panera is going to make THIS right. I wont be buying food from here ever again. And who ever runs the La Mirada location needs a serious lesson on proper CUSTOMER SERVICE. The right thing to do would be honor my coupon so that I am happy and come back. Not the opposite! Now I wasted my lunch break and gas and am left without a lunch. Thanks panera bread.
