PayPal they cancelled my account

I was using PayPal since I was 17 years old and that was a long time ago, I'm 24 now.
Recently I wanted to make an online purchase and wanted to buy via PayPal and was surprised when I could not log into my account. I contacted PayPal and they asked me to send some documents to verify that I was the real owner of account and after that I was notified that my account was cancelled. They said that I made my account when I was 17 and that was against their rules, and because I broke their rules they decided to punish me by deleting my account! Are you kidding me? They decided to cancel my account for something what happened like 7 years ago!
Instead of helping me they made it even worse! No thanks PayPal!

PayPal very poor seller protection

I guess PayPal is not that bad when you are a buyer, but if you are a seller like me prepare to get zero help and support from PayPal!
I had an account on eBay and was selling stuff. One of my customers contacted me and said that he was not satisfied with the product and asked for a refund. I told him that first I want to get my item back and after I get it I'll issue a refund and he agreed. Later I got contacted by PayPal and they said that there was a dispute against me, that I was a fraudulent seller and refused to refund my customer! They did not believe that I was the actual victim and that buyer was just a thieve. They gave him his money back and I did not receive my product back. Absolutely terrible attitude towards sellers! PayPal is not so good as many think.

PayPal useless

Used PayPal service when I ordered something from an online shop. I paid via PayPal because I heard a lot about them and thought that they were highly professional and reliable.
Unfortunately I was scammed by the company I've ordered from and was not able to get my money back. So I contacted PayPal and asked for help. They said that they'll contact the seller but they never did that. For who knows why PayPal stopped replying and never helped me out. What a disappointment.

PayPal no refund from paypal after seller shipping illegal goods that were clones

To Whom it may concern:
I have sent several appeals to Paypal regarding this transaction. I informed the seller that his goods were illegal clones and not the products that he stated in his ads. The were second rate units that I paid $855.00 US dollars.
He requested that I send them back, but it is against the law to ship illegal goods back. I told this to Paypal and they still instructed me to ship the goods back.
I sent them a copy of their policy posted below stating that goods were to be destroyed.
Effective Date: Nov 01, 2010

“13.3 What type of payments are eligible for re-imbursement under
PayPal Buyer Protection?

“Sellers: As a seller you are liable to PayPal if you lose a Claim
from a buyer with a PayPal account registered anywhere in the world.
This includes, without limitation, where you sell to a buyer who is a
Full Programme User and the buyer files a SNAD Claim, in which case
you will generally be required to accept the item back and refund the
buyer the full purchase price plus original shipping costs. You will
not receive a refund on your PayPal fees. If you lose a Significantly
Not as Described Claim because the item you sold is counterfeit, you
will be required to provide a full refund to the buyer and you will
not receive the item back (it will be destroyed).”

They still continued to send me emails requesting a tracking #, there was no way to respond to paypal from that email. I therefore called them and they told me to speak with a Supervisor. The supervisor Lester said he would review it and get back to me with the documentation he required to prove the products were clones and a letter from a professional to state they were not the legal products from China.

I continue to file appeals, they closed the file on my account and all the records of communication are now deleted.
I only have emails with them stating how unprofessional they are for not following through with the appeal in the appropriate method.
They keep saying the appeal was not granted because of an incorrect tracking #, there never was a tracking # because I always told them I'm not shipping Illegal good back to China and paying for shipping twice to have nothing in return. Their policy clearly stated to destroy the goods, which the distributor that works for me did. Nothing could be salvage because they did not have the legal electronic power supply that Canada requires.
I based my claim on illegal goods, clones and feel that Paypal does not service their customers needs and on top of that I paid them for this transaction.
I continue to appeal all emails and still no call from the supervisor or paperwork as agreed.
The first picture is how a real android box that is legal.
The second picture is the illegal ones they shipped me.
Can you please help me, I'm in Canada and this has cost my business lots of money.

PayPal i'm extremely disappointed with paypal

PayPal is the biggest disappointment of the year!
I used their service for years and they always were helpful but they've changed in a bad way. So I bought something online and used PayPal service for the payment. I did not receive my item and asked PayPal for help. They said they'll do something.
Several days later I emailed them again and they said that there was nothing they could do. I asked them to try again, but they refused. Customer service rep was ignorant and showed with all his nasty attitude that he did not want to help me.
Whats's wrong with PayPal? So where's your so called customer support? I don't see any! They did not even try to help!

PayPal i'm very disappointed with paypal!

I have been using PayPal for about 10 years now and they were always helpful and nice. But my last online shopping experience turned up to be a real nightmare and when I needed some help from PayPal they refused to do anything. Must say that was the biggest disappointment ever.
I placed a big order and purchased about 20 items from eBay and had a terrible issues with the seller. From my entire order only 6 things arrived and everything was damaged. First of all I contacted the seller and tried to resolve the situation peacefully, but it took me nowhere. Then I contacted eBay customer care which refused to help and said that I need to discuss everything with the seller.
My last and final hope was PayPal. I contacted them and explained what happened and even opened a dispute.
Later PayPal told that there was nothing they could do and recommended to search some help and support from eBay.
No one ever helped me and I lost over $900!
I'm very disappointed with PayPal and I do not believe them anymore.

PayPal chargeback decision

This complaint is about Papal avid Ruby love photography. We held a space in good faith for the photographer who put down a non-refundable deposit which was clearly stated on our Papal account and our contract. Our show had to be postponed for a later date and this vendor agreed to all terms. She was also given Gratis another show plus all the business leads with all the advertising and we bent over backward to save her space and give her discounts for the show to help her out. Now we are getting a charge back from the same person who is fabricating that she did not get any Services of which we supplied emails to Pay Pal and they favored our company for both the deposit and the payment period two hours later we received I noticed that the cases were opened again. And they wanted us to submit proof of which we did with all the emails and information. For some reason they granted this vendor there non-refundable deposit and granted us the payment in full. Now two weeks later this same case is opened again isn't there a law against making a judgement twice in our favor and then reneging on it put in our account in a minus because of a negligent vendor who is also purging herself.

PayPal very disappointed with paypal!

I have ordered an item and wanted to return it back because it was broken. First of all I contacted the store and they agreed to refund me, so I sent the item back via USPS. When they received the package I got a notification email from USPS. Days passed but there was no refund, so I contacted the store and they claimed that they did not receive anything. I have been fighting with them for a long time and ended up contacting PayPal. I wanted to open a dispute and asked for help. They said that I need to provide all the papers and USPS receipt. I did as they said and they refused to help! They said that I need to deal with the store and it was not their responsibility. Used PayPal for ages and they always were helpful and reliable, but last time they just abandoned me!

PayPal credit card and debit card processing and transferring money

Paypal. Inc. Is Far From Being As Honest And Fair As They Used To Be!

Back around my birthday, believe it or Not which was on Saturday, February 13, 2016, I tried to send my contractor a payment via Paypal and it would Not go through...

I sent out numerous complaint letters to find out Why it was Not working and they would Not tell me a damn thing and also would Not help me either and kept referring me to contact the merchant and have him contact Paypal to try and work out his Limitation Problem.

Well, he eventually contacted Paypal and they LIED to Lito by telling him that he owes them money which was around $8, 000.00.

Whatever they claimed he owed them, it is a 100% LIE because Paypal makes their money on Commissions when people send money through their system.

Please NOTE: There is NO way that anybody could steal money through Paypal because they have a 100% Secure System and Paypal Always Gets Their Money First and then they disperse it internally by going through it and then taking out their commissions and fees and then Paying You The Difference.

In Other Words: They Have Total Control Of Your Money And Payouts Before It Even Gets Into Your Hands and therefore, there is No Way That Paypal Can Even Make A Single Handed Mistake!

Furthermore, there is NO way in hell that Lito could Steal Any Money and I know Lito quite well and he is NOT like that, but Paypal being the kind of Corrupt and Corporatist Company That They Are; They Can Therefore Say And Do Anything That They Want With Their Customers (Whether It Is True Or Not), Just To Get Rid Of Them Like They Did With Both Lito And Then Myself Right After I Had Filed Complaints About What They Did To Him!

Obviously!

Well, I was Very Angry and Upset over this because Lito did Not Deserve Paypal's Lies, Abuse and Mistreatment and of course later on, Neither Did I!

I therefore continued to Send Out Complaint Letters and believe it or NOT within a Few Days, Paypal Illegally Blocked, Limited and Terminated My Account Just Because I Filed Legitimate Complaints!

What A Joke?

I did Nothing Illegal and since Paypal can Not Be Honest With Their Customers, they instead Just Get Rid Of Them instead of having to Deal With Them like they did with Lito and then ME!

I have to tell YOU that Lito was so ANGRY AND UPSET AT PAYPAL and then ME because Lito thought that I did something to cause him to Lose His Account, but he knows that Deep Inside I Had Nothing To Do With It And It Was ALL Paypal's Fault And Nobody Else's!

Please NOTE: The Only Thing that I did was Dispute A Few Charges Because What Happened Was That I Paid Lito With My Visa Credit Card By Accident And Then Went Ahead And Repaid The Same Amount From My American Express Credit Card (Because Paypal Will Not Allow You To Cancel An Immediate Charge, Sadly Speaking) and so, I did Not Want To End Up With A Double Bill and so I ONLY Disputed The Extra Double Charges, but Lito was NEVER Out Of Pocket and what I did was 100% Legal and Legitimate and Lito knows that and so I do NOT even know if that caused his Paypal Account To Shut Down since Paypal would NEVER Tell Me The TRUTH!

In any case, Thanks To God, Lito was able to Find Another Credit Card Acceptance Provider (with My Help) which is Not Only Cheaper, but Better And Friendlier To Use and they have Real, Live American Customer Service as well!

In Fact, I just made My Very First Payment through them Just A Few Days Ago and Love It!

However, with Paypal, Inc., They Really Suck and I am So Glad that they are NOT the Only Provider Out There In The World!

PayPal awful customer service!

I used PayPal many times and must say that their customer service is an absolute joke! Calling PayPal to resolve an issue is a total waste of time. Their reps are really unprofessional, they cannot even answer a simple question! All you will get is a confused agent who cannot provide any help or resolve your issue. They always promise to call back, but they never do. I wanted to delete my account so I called them. Several weeks later I received a call from my bank and was told that my card was charged! What an unprofessional company!

PayPal return shipping on us (will not honor)

I submitted a return shipping on Feb 3 after sending the item back Jan 30th. They had a program in effect October through Jan 31 then continued it Feb 1, 2016 to Dec 31 2016. Long story short after jumping through a ton of hoops by Tellus International (their claims processors) they are refusing to honor their contract because it overlaps the two identical programs.

At this point I don't trust Paypal and will be reducing my business with them as much as possible. I also wouldn't count on Paypal to honor their Return Shipping on US.

I can't agree more with this complaint against Paypal as I have the same experience. They ( Telus International ) kept on asking me to submit documents that i had already submitted a number of times. It's obvious that they want to keep you frustrated till you will give up and not pursue the claim anymore. And this is for a measly $ 30.00 that you'll be subjected to all this aggravation. Save yourself from irritation and just be wary of what you buy. This move of Paypal to have an agent to process this refund of shipping is really a bad business decision by Paypal.

PayPal awful customer service.

I bought some items on eBay back in November and had used PayPal to buy them. Items I received were damaged. Total cost was just under $250 and items were shipped in two separate packages from the same seller. Long story short, I emailed the seller, he went into denial about defective part and refused to give me an exchange or a refund. So I contacted PayPal and asked for a refund. I also asked the seller to send postage address so I could send the item back. Seller ignored my request, went to ebay, got my credit card information and did a sale directly out of their store. I contacted PayPal again and they said there was nothing they could do. Ebay and PayPal are working together and running an unethical business!

PayPal no buyer protection!

My sister purchased an item from a seller on FB and used PayPal. When she did not receive anything she complained and the seller gave PayPal a tracking number. My sister had some private messages with that seller on FB and those messages was a proof that he never even shipped the item. She sent those messages to PayPal, but they said that those messages were false and they could not use those messages. They said that seller provided a tracking number and he could not use one tracking number for multiple different orders. This is absolutely ridiculous! No protection and no help from PayPal! My sister was scammed and she has all the proofs! We are very disappointed.

PayPal Dating site

I have recently cancelled (again) my membership after stopping, i thought automatic payments.. [protected]@gmail.com would like a refund of part used billing period of over $100 I thought i had successfully stopped auto payments through PayPal but i was checking other details and noticed that i had been rebilled. I want a refund of most of the payment or i will be contacting the ombudsman about this fraudulent transaction. Hope to hear from the site soon re my refund. Patrick Williams

PayPal fees and customer service.

This is what I sent to the customer service at paypal-prepiad. Hello. I am having a problem with some fees. I noticed that I had a negative balance of $6. on my pre-paid card. That was the Debit: Plan Fee, Generic Account Subscription Fee, that I incurred during time that I didnt use my card. That was fine, when I transferred money to the card I knew that would be deducted. So I transferred $38 from Paypal to the pre-paid card. Came out to $31.xx after the Debit: Plan Fee, Generic Account Subscription Fee. Then I went to the ATM at the bank by my house and I know this ATM charges $3.50 for this Paypal pre-paid card, thats fine. My problem starts from this point on. I put the card in the ATM and tried to withdraw $27 and it was declined, I didnt understand why because I thought I had enough on the card, I had just loaded $38 and I knew there was at least $31 still left. So I put the card back in and tried to withdraw $26. That didnt work either so I tried $25, that didnt work so I decided to check the balance. The balance was, at that point, $28.12 and that made no sense to me. I tried to then withdraw $24 and that did not work either so I checked the balance again because I was really confused at this point. The balance was then $26.62. At that point I really wanted my money so I just tried to take $20. It gave me the $20 bill and a receipt that said I only have $1.17 left on the card. I came straight home to go online to see if I could figure out what happened and I found all these fees https://i.imgur.com/CHtjhrG.png starting at $35.57 and ending at $31.57. I am pretty certain that those fees were preventing me from taking out the money and I want that money $5refunded. I had no idea about these fees, I of course I was aware of the $1.95 withdrawal fee that you charge and that is fine. I hope you understand that I put $38.54 on the pre-paid card and was only able to withdraw $20 from. I have all 7 receipt from the ATM and I am really disconcerted over this whole thing. I have checked your account and our record shows that your card got declined due to insufficient funds. Please note that the bank fee would depend on the ATM where you have made the withdrawal. It shows that the bank fee where you have made the withdrawal is $3.50. PayPal payment security

I was attempting to buy something through eBay and pay with my PayPal account. When I finished paying for the item, I received an email from PayPal with the debt information for my purchased. However, eBay sends me a note saying they didn't receive any payment and told me to complaint with PayPal and request the refund. What I tried to do in less than five minutes afterwards the information was received from eBay. When I connected to my PayPal account, I was capable to see the debt, but there is no way of cancelling the transaction. I send couples old emails to PayPal and received no response. I then called PayPal in the US and told them the whole story, but they just told me that I have to open a dispute case and wait until they go through all the details. I told that there is no need of it, eBay says they didn't get money from PayPal and I didn't get my item, therefore, just cancel the transaction, but they refused. I requested the attendant to talk to a supervisor who did absolutely nothing and they kept changing my phone call to different people and each time I had to say the whole story over and over again. I spent 58 minutes of an international call and was regaled as I was the one wrong. Why an unsuccessful transaction cannot be canceled within in five minutes time? I could not have got any good from Hong Kong within five minutes. The PayPal supervisor told me that they work just like a credit card, and I had to wait for a resolution. Well, if they function like a credit card, why anyone would use PayPal to purchase anything? We can do that straight away with our credit card. We use PayPal for safety, at least I guessed they were safe, but they are not. Their staff has no willingness to resolve any problem, they don't try to understand your situation, they do not connect you to the right people, instead they keep you on the phone for a long time transferring the call from one to the other. I am confident that my credit card company would treat me with more respect than PayPal employee. They have a horrible employee service. PayPal is only beneficial when you can do all your things by yourself and don´t have to contact them, but if anything goes wrong then you are in trouble. I disconnected the phone disappointed and embarrassed. I have lost my money, but more than losing my money, I lost my dignity and esteem. There are two companies I must remove from my future business, eBay and PayPal.

PayPal extras mastercard rewards card

PayPal tricked me into applying my reward toward PayPal credits which are worth less than points applied to gift cards. The website automatically applies points to your PayPal with no, purchase review, add to cart, or purchase confirmation. I did see that my points had been decreased when trying to buy gas cards so I called the redemption center to get the bad news and of course, neither PayPal or MasterCard could undo. BEWARE that if you select the cash redemption option: 1. It's not cash 2. I you click on continue the transaction is a done deal at that point 3. No feedback lets you know what has happened 4. The cash redemption points are worth 83% of points used for gift cards at the current time. I have had more problems with this card than all others in all of my life. I keep it because it has a neat option to have your photo on it and the reward points. The photo option is being discontinued and with this type of hassle redeeming points it's life may be shortened in my wallet. Many times I have had the card stopped when I pay the monthly payment which I have never understood .. yes this happens when I pay them. I have had the card stopped while traveling with no warning i.e. a phone call. Representatives are not willing to take these issues on when discussed over the phone. I guess I will carry the card with photo ID and purchase with another after 14 months of pain. I have the paypal extras reward mastercard and I USED to be able to see my points and what I can get with them or at least what I need to get a reward. Now, you have to call and they tell you your points and what you're eligible for. What a pain in the a**! PLUS a $25 gift card is only redeemable when certain kinds, like gas and restaurants, are on special for $2500 points. Merchandise gift cards like Amazon are 3300 points! Unless they happen to be on special which I've never seen yet. I can only get this months special for a gas or restaurant card. Wouldn't you think a $25 gift card is redeemable for 2500 points? Not a weird amount like 3300? So I have to spend between $200-$600 more to get a whopping $25 card? Im on social security disability so I love reward cards but the amount of points needed is ridiculous. I dont have another 200-600 dollars to spend just to get a $25 gift card! Plus to know the monthly specials, you have to wait and call back, for me, in TWO days on the 1st to find out what they are. I'm especially not happy that I can't just go to my account and see what I have and what I can get. That's more convenient for me and probably a lot of people. I'm wicked stressed and the rewards are almost not worth it when you have to spend $3000 just to get $25. Or $6000 for cash back! Crazy! whoo! I feel better now! :-P I think this should change to at least 2500 points for $25. the specials should be something like 2200 points, not 2500 for a card that 3300 points and $25. Thats my opinion at least.

PayPal can't get money back, or cancel my account

Don't ever use pay pal, they make it very difficult for businesses to receive their money if the customer makes a mistake! I have a massage business and set up a pay pal account for customers to purchase gift certificates. Pay pal doesn't allow you the business to set your own prices unless you pay $35 monthly fee on top of the 2.49% transaction fees you're already paying. And customers weren't using the very long redemption code to redeem their gift certificates and even worse they had to have a pay pal account themselves just to be able to use them! When I called pay pal they said I could issue a refund to the customers and they could pay me when they got their refund, however pay pal doesn't issue refunds 60 days after the date of purchase! I spoke with another representative who told me to open another dummy pay pal account and type in the redemption code myself to get the money. I don't understand why they couldn't just ask me what the redemption code was since I had the printed gift certificate receipts and as the business owner I could verify the transaction took place. No, they wanted to make it as difficult as possible and make it all my problem. Not a good company, I will not be doing business with them again and advise others to stay away as well.

PayPal account creation

1) I received a bill from Paypal Credit that totally stumped me. I made a fraud call to them. Later I examined my American Express account registered with Paypal only find that they didn't put the charge on my registered American Express card, but opened a Paypal Credit account. The offer for extended pay, which I've used in the past, previously, stretched out payments to the American Express account that I have on file. I just lost 2, 300 American Express points and have a new credit company that I don't want. When I called and asked why I didn't see a notation on my credit report about opening a new creditor, I was told that they don't report to credit bureaus. That way they stay under the radar in opening an account for you...it's secret. When I tried to find out how this happened all I got was, "Have a good rest of your day." 2) Additionally, somehow they opened an account for my 91 year old mother who is in a nursing home and makes no purchases. They sent her a bill for an airline purchase that she obviously didn't make. I am cancelling all dealings with Paypal and Paypal Credit.
