On Sunday 3 April 2022 at around 15:30 I placed an order for a Mecer 5kVA/5kW PF1 64V Charger/ 48V DC SOL-I-AX-SP64 via PC Link Computers' website. At 15:38 I received an email from the company confirming that the order has been placed and I should do an EFT for R8.350-00 being the amount due for the item. I immediately did the EFT and forwarded the proof of payment to [protected]@pclinkshop.co.za as per their email and proforma invoice/quotation. On Tuesday 5 April 2022 I sent them an email to [protected]@pclinkshop.co.za enquiring when I can collect the item at their Florida Glen address as per the order. I received no reply to my email. On 6 April 2022 at 16:49 I sent another email to [protected]@pclinkshop.co.za and [protected]@pclinkshop.co.za again asking when the item will be ready for collection. Again I did not receive any reaction. On Thursday 7 April 2022 at 12:38 I again sent an email to the two addresses mentioned before requesting cancellation of the order and a refund into my bank account and supplied the banking details. Again no reaction. On Friday 9 April 2022 at around 11:00 I visited the address of the company in Florida Glen. I only found a note on the gate stating that because of Covid19 the staff are working remotely and one should send enquiries to [protected]@pclinkshop.co.za. While at the premises two disgruntled people also arrived. The lady said she has been battling since December last year to get a refund and the other gentleman said he was looking for the product that he ordered for more than R16.000 and also do not get any reaction from the company. Checking the status of my order on the companies website it states that the order was received but payment is still outstanding. I just phoned the available telephone number of the company and just got a voice message stating that due to high call volumes they are not answering calls and one should send an email to [protected]@pclinkshop.co.za and they will respond within 48 hours.
Desired outcome: Immediate refund by EFT.
We need to take these guys down, thru can't carry on like this taking people's money and not responding to requests for feedback and refunds.
They closed down. I tried getting hold of the owner PAULO VICENTE FIANDEIRO on his cell but no answer.
