1 year unlimited support
Was told it was unlimited time, not just limited to one year.
Removed programs that worked and added free programs that bogged down computer.
When I called to ask for removal, they only gave 2/3rd of a refund.
When I called back to state I was confused as to why only 2/3rds, the said it was what I agreed to and would not answer anymore questions.
Money grab, scam company, terrible customer service that would rather keep your money than satisfy the issue.
WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND.
Charged £116 for a service which was rubbish.
client number - order id vee45rtf was talked into buying this mac cleaner as was told my computer was infected with all sorts of virus etc. they worked on it for about 25 hours by remote control it is now a complete mess does not operate properly at all asked for a refund but of course have heard nothing this about a month now. could you please help.
Solid Techies a.k.a. inPixio Computer Services SCAM
I purchased inPixio photo editing software on-line. When I could not install the software I called the tech support number. I was told that my computer needed to have the hard drive cleaned. They offered to clean my computer, but said the needed all of my credit card numbers so that they could clean my credit card numbers from the Internet. I knew for sure that this was a SCAM when they asked for all my credit card numbers.

Lying in their marketing
Signed up for one year of service on June 14, 2015. Their work was acceptable for the year.
On Dec 10, 2015 THEY CALLED ME to sell me an additional year. They said that they would include a PDF suite and Adware antivirus if I bought today. We negotiated a price and agreed.
Now I find out that all they gave me was the PDF suite and adware antivirus for a very high price for the two! Personally, I switched back from the low powered PDF suite they gave me to the free Foxit PDF because it was better and gave up Norton professional for a basic antivirus. However, I did not get my additional year of IT service!
Do not trust these guys- I think they prey on seniors. They are also bad for the IT industry.
PDF Suite
In February 2016 I bought online a year's subscription to Solid Techies PDF Suite. The program was horrible--unmanageable and I could not even make simple edits. After complaining to their technical support group in Montreal, Canada, they gave me days of runaround. The numbers I called were: [protected]. Also [protected]. This outfit is associated with UPCLICK and INTERACTIVE BRANDS with a network in Quebec and Malta.
Finally one agent told me that in order to do simple edits, I needed PDFSuite Pro. He said he would refund my $55 and charge me $79 for the Pro so that I could finally use to edit PDF documents. After my card was charged for the higher fee, I asked for help to load the Pro and various agents informed me that I did not pay for Pro and that I had bought a computer cleanup service for my $79. It was a true bait and switch.
For weeks thereafter I talked to many agents in protest, explaining over and over that I wanted a good PDF program, not a computer cleanup. These included : Sarah, Terrence Lloyd, John Stewart and others. After weeks of abuse from these robots, who sometimes promised refunds, I was sent to the chief chump Dominique. I asked her to check all the conversations from days past since they are supposedly recorded.
That one is a true Nazi. She determined that I was entitled to only a $27 refund and they all partied with my ripped off $50 for which I got NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. Never did get a whiff of Pro nor even a computer cleanup!
Any website or product involved with SolidTechies.com and Interactive Brands is a dirty scam. They are all over the web. They have layers of corporate flytraps to catch the spiders. I still get their shyster promotions via email. No way to unsubscribe. Too bad someone can "unsubscribe" that whole dirty nest.

Everything
I also made the fatal mistake of being conned into parting with over $500 to have my computer cleaned and promised after service. Within 24 hours my computer was as bad as it was originally. I rang the support number a number of times with no answer. I finally got annswer and the tech worked on my computer for hours and assured me it was fixed. IT WASN'T! I have rang back 4 times in the last 18 hours and have had people who can barely speak English, people who do not even know the phonetic alphabet, people who just hang up. Each time I have asked to speak to a supervisor and have been told, he's not here or this is a different shift or some other obscure reason. I wanted to complete the survey so I could complain but was unable to access it. When I rang I was told that it wasn't working and I just needed to speak to a tech if I had a problem. The list goes on of problems with these people. I feel that this is a total scam and advise everyone to beware and do not use them!
Complete computer sweep
Last night I spoke with a fast talking techie salesman, who convinced me that my 6 month old home computer was corrupt in many ways and need to be completely cleaned out (I'm not a computer person, as you see). He managed to talk me into a $516 cleaning which he said they would do remotely, and that it would take about 4-5 hours. Against my better judgement I did agree to the sweep...But as soon as I did...He said that I would also have to include any other electronics connected to my computer. My router would be an additional $99 and my printer even more. At this point I lost it and told him that was ridiculous...I wasn't paying any more...Cancel the whole deal...Just forget it...I don't want any of it and I'm not dealing with you. So...This morning I got e-mail confirmation that the $516 was charged to my card...And they sent me little activation codes to get started. Beware of these people. My credit card company is going after them.
I have just had the exact same experience. I was just finishing my new high tech computer for photography and went to install InPixio Photo Clip 7.0. After installation the company activates the software. I called a phone number on my receipt which took me to Canada from Australia. I ended up with SolidTechies. From that point on it was all high pressure sales to take out a yearly protection. I'm not new to the game and became very suspicious when they said I needed a Microsoft Certified Engineer to look at the operating system because of many errors and viruses. They refused to activate InPixio Pro I closed down the conversation. I have now emailed the avanquest demanding my money back.
Remote computer clean
On March 8 2016 www.solidtechies.com undertook a remote clean of my laptop at a cost of A$599.00, it took 30 hours an all they did was remove my Norton and add 5 free online programs without the knowledge of the companies who's property they used. fortunately they did not work on my main computer that they convinced me would have the same problem and I have been charged A$179.00, although I was told if not happy before 30 days I would receive a full refund, another A$14.99 came out of my card March 11 these people are very well trained in every except computers -unethical behaviour- unauthorised credit card charges-unscrupulous lies.
I have been offered a half refund that I refused and then assured that it was sent to the 'refund department'(the next deck) for a full refund within 72 hours -I still live in hope.

Technical Support
I was steered to this scam by a repair program on my computer, much to my regret. My system had corrupted files affecting fax program and wasn't able to open .zip files. There were other problems probably but they weren't visible. The techs were in my system for 26.5 hours. They had to go in a second time because they missed things the first round. They also failed to neutralize a hacker who had infiltrated my system. God knows what they did because it certainly wasn't fixing problems. In addition they installed a program I didn't authorize called Reimage that was next to useless. That cost $80.00. Stay away from this outfit; they are bad news.

Repair for virus on computer
On 2/9/16 I received a pop up chat notification on my computer saying to contact pc support because my computer was infected with several viruses. I contacted the number provided and was told by the agent that she could run a quick diagnosis scan for $39.00. After an hour on the phone and access to my computer she indicated that I needed to purchase an additional program ad-ware antivirus for $199.00 which will keep my computer safe for a year. The agent told me that I will receive a confirmation email with a link that will allow me to download the program to my computer. After the transaction was made a tech was supposed to start the repair that could take up to 6 hours and for me to not cut off the computer while the repair was being done. I never received the confirmation email to download the program and the receipt didn't have a link to click on that would direct me to the program. I made several attempts to contact the tech by chat and they never respond to any messages that were sent. I also called the number listed [protected] on the receipt several and each time was on hold for an more than an hour. The program was never installed, no contact with anyone after the initial call and my card was charged $238.00 for service never rendered. This company is a fraud and ripoff and uses innocent people to make money off them. I would like a full refund and this company banned from being able to take advantage of innocent people.
The next day I called [protected] spoke with an agent by the name of Terrance to request a refund for service never rendered. He was very rude and arrogant regarding the refund stating that company policies is 30% of what was initially paid which will be $59.00. I asked to speak with a supervisior and he refused to put one on the phone stating he was the highest person there in charge. During the call several times I disputed the fact that they charged my card $199.00 and only refunded me $ 59.00. Before ending the call I asked for a confirmation number from the agent and his response was" you will a confirmation call in 34-72 hours.

You got hit by a scam.
a 3rd party pop-up is only an ad.
You should bring your computer to get properly cleaned by a local company.
Standard Service 1 PC Support
On Jan 22, 2016 I paid for 1 year of service to clean and repair my computer.
They asked me to remote connect my machine so they could work on it and every time they did not do the work so the internet disconnected.
After I called and was angry with them they disconnected my keyboard so that I could not use it.
I finally had to call them today 2/4/2016 and demand they do the work while I watched so that it would get done. I am demanding a full refund, which I probably wont get but PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAM AND FRAUDULENT COMPANY.
I had bought Reimage soft ware from this dumba$% company as I have had this software before, I didn't think twice about it. I like the Reimage but?, This Solidtech Idiots conned me into a one time fix ' yeah right!' of 80.00 and it took many of them 6 days to ruin my computer!, They kept bumping themselves off and having me reconnect each time!, All that was going on with My Computer was pop-ups at the time, Well? Now, , The stupid idiots! have my computer doing nothing but freezing and not being able to get on any of my important web pages. I did call and complain but? they didn't care! Now I am going to have to take Lenovo Desktop, yeah very expensive Computer! to another Computer Tech and have it completely redone. I am 51 years old and I can tear a computer down and build it back up without any schooling and I learned all on 14 years of experience and I DON'T KNOW WHAT THESE PEOPLE HAVE DONE! They will laugh in peoples faces because they already have our money! You guys think these pple care about your stuff? May as well take it to another Microsoft Specialist or throw the computer you have in the yard and get a new one! Because once they have your money!?, it's too ' bleeping bad!
Worked on my PC laptop
On the 13th of January 2016 I called Solidtechies to look into putting a PDF on my laptop. While doing so they advised me to do some additional upgrades etc. They assured me how much better it would perform. Well I told them for that kind of money for a hundred dollars more I could by a new laptop. They assured me it would be just like a new one, plus I would have one year of free support. So I agreed. By the time I got it back from them, oh lordy. I couldn't even get on my g-mail account. I called them back to correct this that day and they couldn't even take control. That went on for awhile that afternoon. I got so frustrated I decided to call and try in the morning. Well the next morning we tried again for around an hour and a half they where not able to correct it. So that tech recommended that later that day one of their senior techs would try. Later that day I got with one of there senior techs. We spend a hour in half again still not able to correct the problem. So I called my credit card company to cancel it. The credit card company was great help she got the charges reimbursed. In a few minutes Solidtechies called me back again and wanted to try and correct the problem. So I decided to give them that chance. That went on for another hour or better and still not able to fix or correct the problem. Well Saturday morning I took it over to Office Depot where I purchased it. It is now Sunday afternoon and I just called Office Depot to how there tech was doing. He advised me the Virus is so bad the machine may not be able to be repaired.
Contracts are only there to get your money, not provide services
I contacted solidtechies to fix a problem with my computer and they were unable to fix the original problem as well they caused another problem they could not fix. I was frustrated that this went on for 4 months so I did not contact them any further and accepted that I paid for time spent on attempts to fix the problem. In good faith I did not pursue refund as per article 4 in their contract and canceled my contract with SolidTechies.com as outlined in the contract 30 days before the renewal... So then I get an email from them telling me my CC has been charged $300+ to continue their services that I did NOT want. I called SolidTechies twice to make sure the account was canceled and hoped that the new charges could be reversed. The first guy told me he made sure the automatic billing was cancelled but could not reverse the charges since the changes never took effect and he could not send an email to me showing the account canceled. The second person I spoke to transferred me to their billing department who sent me an email saying they had already done work on the computer (actually over a year ago). When I responded and clarified what happened, they simply stated the contract terms and ignored the issue with the cancellation online. I went on my account and found the same automatic renewal that I had cancelled a month previous was active again, but was told that with no proof of the cancellation nothing could be done. Since I did not receive an email, and didn't think I would need a screenshot proving the change was done I had no proof. Ironically after i indicated no email had been sent, they indicated that they had cancelled the automatic renewal, and I cancelled the automatic renewal again after 3 emails exchanged, I was told they had cancelled the automatic renewal for me had this time I finally got an e-mail. I suggested there was a problem with their system and that I would like a refund but was told in multiple e-mails that there was nothing they could do, other than to state the automatic renewal had been cancelled. I even offered to pay a fee to offer a refund if they could provide an explanation as to why this happened and that they could ensure this wouldn't happen to anyone else. Unfortunately i was told "there is nothing we can do" It is apparent this company has no customer service and operates a "Profit at all cost" business model. All they want is your money. They may as well say..."Give us money and we'll guarantee to hold you to a contract but don't expect us to be held to the same contract or give you any customer service"
It was the same for me, I paid for a worth situation, cause my computer is over and I can't do anything to get money back. They are inefficient and incompetent, I let my computer to them for one day and they made anything. It is really ashamed and I was completely stupid to think it was a good service. How can we do to get right and to stop a company to be good to take our money without service in exchange?!
A Total Scam!
I canceled my contract with SolidTechies.com a year ago... today I get an email from them telling me my CC will be charged $289.00 tomorrow to continue their services that I did NOT want. I called SolidTechies twice to make sure the account was canceled. The first guy told me he could not send an email to me showing the account canceled and that I would not be charged tomorrow. The second billing lady did send an email telling me I would not be charged but in the link that was supposed to show this cancellation... The info was not shown. All this "company" wants is your money. Pure and Simple. In my opinion... they may as well be thieves along side the road.
Total scam! Just say no!
This company is a total scam! I was having trouble with my purchased copy of PDF Suite 2015, when I tried to open it I received an error message dialog box. I called the support number for the software and was told that the problem was that my hard drive needed to be cleaned up and there were also several malicious programs running and hackers could access my data at any time. They said they could clean up my computer and install anti virus software that would protect me from any future threats as well as provide me with technical support for a year for $199. I was very concerned about my vulnerability and regrettable said yes. Well... they didn't fix my PDF software, it still gives me an error message, just like before. I watched as their tech went through their process to clean up my computer. They used only software available free for download on the internet, i.e, Dr. Web Cure It and Piniform CCleaner. (I expected them to use a professional copy of diagnostic software) I also was lead to believe they would install an upgraded antivirus program that would totally protect me from hackers. They removed my AVG program and installed a free version of Ad-Aware! They also installed a free version Soda PDF 7, I guess they thought that would fix my PDF Suite problem! All this free stuff for $199! What a rip off!
They tried to pull the same scam on me today. Told me the exact same thing... 'suspicious activity' related to my IP address. They told me people from Japan and Taiwan were using my IP address, and there was 'something Xbox related' being done on her IP.
This place is 100% scam.
My mom was suckered into their real time 'protection' for $400/year, after clicking on an add in Adaware software (which I used to recommend...not anymore). They were supposed to fix a problem on her computer. They weren't able to fix it.
However, the real issue that's come up was that they recently called her to report 'suspicious activity' related to her IP address. They told her people from Japan, Korea and Taiwan were using her IP address, and there was 'something Xbox related' being done on her IP. He then informed her that they'd need to send somebody else to 'defrag' her modem (yes...her MODEM), and that it would cost extra. My mom was obviously suspicious, especially when the person on the phone wouldn't tell her what she could do in the future to prevent this.
Here's the kicker - my mom left open all of the 'evidence' they had to show her to 'prove' that her IP was being used. To show that people were using her accessing her computer from various countries, he used the registry editor (!?!?), and showed her registry keys with the words Japan, Korea, etc. in them. Turns out these were actually MSIME keys - Microsoft Input Method Editors for different languages (i.e., totally normal windows things that allow you to type in different languages). The 'Xbox' stuff was a bunch of registry keys related to signed certificates and the xbox app included in Windows. Not to mention the whole idea of IP address activity being in the registry is pretty ridiculous. He also pulled up an 'Where's my IP located' website. It showed her correct location, so he then showed the source code for the website to scare my mom into thinking something was going on behind the scenes.
Stay away from these people - they prey on those who are already nervous/unsure of their internet security, and trick them with cheap tricks and unfair practices.
