Having emailed twice, gone round and round in circles with a bot that is worse than useless, tried to call the advertised phone number, which comes back as not recognised, written a letter and had no response whatsoever from PhotoBox about my issue, nor even an acknowledgement that I have a genuine issue. I have bought many albums from PhotoBox over the years and have always been very happy with my purchases. However, it was not until having an issue this time I discovered customer service is non-existent and trying to contact them in any way shape or form is an utter nightmare .
My issue is this: I purchased a credit to create an album as a Christmas gift. I went into my account, found the credit, clicked create now, created an album (which in itself was incredibly cumbersome) then went to checkout. No credit was applied. I tried several times. No credit applied. I had no choice but to purchase the album at full price in. order to receive it in time for Christmas and now want the credit refunding as it did not apply itself at checkout as claimed in the text on the offer.
Trying to get help and contact Photobox has been right up there with the worst of companies who have no respect or care for customers whatsoever. The ‘get help with your order and credits’ takes you to the generic circular journey bot, which is incredibly frustrating. To my astonishment I discovered that is the only method provided on the site to ‘contact us’. The phone number comes back as not recognised and emailing twice has not elicited any response whatsoever. I have no idea what has happened to PhotoBox this past couple of years, but I will never use it again and will not recommend it to anyone!
Photobox needs to look long and hard at the growing number of complaints about them, which a cursory glance through google highlights many! Historical satisfaction on places like Trust Pilot can very quickly turn tide as current customer service approaches now smack of an arrogant and dismissive attitude to customers. There are so many other options out there now that poor customer service will ultimately lead to a decline in business
I am deeply disappointed and unhappy about the credit not applied to my purchase and then receiving emails saying I have a limited time to use the credit, and not being able to get in touch with anyone.
