PicMonkey So called "free" trial...

First off, I cannot stress this enough. NEVER agree to a free trial with this particular company, even if you plan to cancel. They will charge you for an annual subscription EVEN if you canceled on the same day you made an account. On Valentine's day, I used Pickmoney to make Twitch panels for my boyfriend. I decided to sign up for a free trial to get the most out of my experience but made sure to cancel soon after. Today (23rd), I was checking my statement when I saw a charge for $131.10 on the 21st. Picmonkey still charged me despite having canceled on the first day. I tried searching for a cancellation email but suspiciously did not receive one. Today, I canceled my subscription yet again and did receive one the second time around. Honestly, I would not be surprised if they do this on purpose to mind**** customers into believing that they did not cancel after all and to absolve themselves of any responsibility. Instead of calling customer service (waste of time), I immediately called my bank to report fraud and suggest anyone else with this problem do the same.

I have a screenshot of my account settings attached below. If you notice, they do not state the date when you first signed up for a free trial. I didn't even receive the typical "Welcome!" email on the day of.

PicMonkey Free Trail

BEWARE ! This company charged my credit card for a year subscription and refuses to cancel it in spite of stating that they would issue a refund. I contacted them less than 24 hours after I started my "FREE TRIAL". This is a scam company.

My initial "FREE TRIAL" subscription was 6-24-22. I called them on 6-25-22 and asked for them to cancel any subscription in my name.

After my timely request to cancel, they agreed to cancel the charge, but have never issued any refund or credit to y credit card.

I emailed them about never getting any credit/refund, and they said there was nothing else they could do.

I feel this company is a scammer company and am still requesting my $127.20 refund.

Desired outcome: Full refund of $127.20

PicMonkey Problems with cancel account / being overcharged

I set up a PicMonkey account years ago. The account was set up with an email I no longer use. I tried to cancel before I closed my acct. I haven't used Picmonkey in years and am trying to cancel my account once again. I was supposed to be charged $33/year but I was recently charged $47.52. I cannot retrieve my acct because my email is not active..

Desired outcome: Refund recent charges. Close my Picmonkey account permanently.

i purchased picmonkey on sunday 4-3-22 54.00 on my debit card. i can get it to pop up and a picture to load then it goes black and tells me something about webgl. i go to the site and it says my laptop is compatible and i see the spinning cube. After that i am at a loss...i've went to every site they tell me and cannot get anywhere.please help! i've had picmonkey before and i really like it. that is why i repurchased it. i need help in knowing where to go to fix the problem . i feel that i bought the product and i at least deserve to know what to do to fix it.

PicMonkey Unauthorized charge

Someone made this account I don't know how but it was an unauthorized charge on my credit card and I need the money back ASAP . I don't have 120.00 to spend on something I never used in life and I have literally been emailing you guys for the last 2 days. Like I don't have continuous time to be doing back and forth with evreryone. Can you guys please just get this fixed for me ASAP.

PicMonkey Havent been able to use new version of picmonkey

I was charged $120 for a complete year of access to the new picmonkey. I have had nothing but problems with it..and find it okay to use the old version. I would like refund of my money for it was taken out in one lump sum as well. If you could contact me at [protected]@gmail.com If you could contact me about this matter it would be much apprecitated. It is really upsetting that I have been enrolled for the new version and not been able to work with it. I perfer to use the old version.

PicMonkey Billed for year subscription

If I could give them zero stars I would. I signed up for the free trial canceled the subscription and was billed 120.00 for the full year the only option the give is to lower the plan. I don't need this service and would like it to be canceled effective today 4-21-20. I have no problem with the service being prorated but I don't want to pay the for a full year when i'm not using the service. I can't afford this with covid-19 going on and shelter in place please cancel the service and refund my money.

I was charged 120.00 when I was told that if anything I would only be charged the monthly fee of 8.99. I was also under the impression that it was a free trial . I make 50.00 a day I can't afford to be charged 120.00 for something that I was under the impression was for free. I can't even afford insurance for my business. I was given no warning and the price said it was a monthly fee .

PicMonkey 120.00 pro charge

I canceled my subscription within the 7 days but was still charged. I used the software once during the 7 day free trial and wasn't impressed enough to justify 120.00 charge per year for the software. I canceled my membership around the 3rd or 4th day, and thought everything was good to go. To my surprise I was charged $120.00 for a yearly pro subscription. I do not want or need this software. Please refund my charges.

I utilized their free trial and cancelled within the time allotted. They charged me for a full year anyhow. When looking for something else I noticed online at my credit card site that they never refunded my account. I contacted them and the credit card company. Picmonkey never emailed me a refund / cancellation statement or if they did it went into any junk folder and maybe was deleted. CC says without that they can not refund. PM refuses to do anything. As someone who was loved the Nordstrom Way and other great customer satisfaction companies I find Picmonkey's treatment of this customer and its practice to be shameless and pitiful.

Date of incident - Dec. 24, 2018 Automatically took money out of checking account Requested a refund Company refused. PicMonkey closed account yet still kept money. In my opinion, this is fraud. I would not advise anyone to use this company unless they like to donate money to them while not using. Contacting this company is almost impossible which makes it much more difficult to try to cancel.

PicMonkey charging my account

We have been trying to cancel our account for months, but we have not been able to reach anyone who would actually be willing to help us. My wife signed up for a free subscription last summer and forgot to cancel it before the trial was up. However, for the past 6 months, we have been trying to reach someone to cancel it and, in the meantime, have paid roughly $80 for a service we don't want and don't use.

PicMonkey accounting

I went to cancel my 7 day subscription on Feb 3 and found out you had already charged me $71.88 dollars. You made a charge to Pay Pal at 12:01 am (EST) while I was sleeping. I never used your software and cancelled that time. Please return my money to PayPal. All $71.88. That is low to charge me while I sleep. Plus it was on a non-business day. (Sunday) I will not recommend this software to my fellow photographers.

PicMonkey free trial subscription

I was charged $71.88 after canceling my free trail even though I was suppose to to $5.99 monthly if I decided to to keep membership. I literally long in once the day I sign up and never used it again. It wasn't for me so I cancelled. Why did Picmonkey take $71.88 from my account .
They have no phone number to contact customer service only email
If I don't hear something from them within 24 hrs I will contact BBB, this is unethical business practices.

PicMonkey picmonkey photo editing site

I pay $7.99 a month to access this site. when tried to get on several times, it brought up a free trial that they want people to try. But it wouldn't let me access the regular site that I'm paying for. Also I was told that once I tried the site, that if I didn't want to continue, I would be given the choice to refuse after 7 days. that didn't happen. I was not given that option, and you all took money out of my account. And since I'm paying for it, then I want to be able to use it at my disposal. I can access the site, but not the use of it. I will appreciate if you all would fix it or return my money back on my account.

Same thing happened to me. I was using the site earlier. Logged out, , went back to do some more editing and it won't let me log in.

PicMonkey billing

Every April I am billed $107.88 for my membership.

Then for the second year I am also billed in October for $50.44. I don't know what the second bill is for but I tried last year to contact you to find out and no one responded. I spent a lot of time trying to track down a PicMonkey phone number and still have not been successful. So last year I ended up paying for something that I never used. So I want to cancel whatever this is but I don't want to lose my PicMonkey account. I need to talk to someone in billing to get this straightened out but is it it is impossible to reach anyone or to get a response. I am getting extremely angry that you sell a service, but we cannot contact you if there is a billing problem.

PicMonkey unauthorized credit card payment

19/9/18- money got deducted from my acc without my consent, and I haven't used picmonkey over a year how can you just renew the plan? I wasn't told that its an annual renewal and I'll get charged every year. this is not done, Y'all can't charge me without informing prior if i want to continue it or no. I demand a refund but this is not accepted. I pay for many sites and apps and have never faced this issue.

I have had PicMonkey for years and it's always auto renewal. You must request to have your subscription cancelled prior to renewal date.

PicMonkey subscription service

I signed up for a 7 day Free Trial on picmonkey.com
PicMonkey did not send an Invoice or an email to confirm this. That should have been a red flag.
In 6 days i used the app once, and discovered it couldn't do any of the things advertised.
PicMonkey put the charge through on the 6th day
There is no phone support - and apparently no email support as well.
I have tried repeatedly to contact PicMonkey by phone, email, and by Tweet. Nothing.
Stay away from this company!
BTW the app kinda sucks
