Supervisor is David - rude, not helpful
Supervisor is David - rude, not helpful. This probably isn't even his real name. I would not deal with this company. They are unprofessional.
Review:
The supervisor, David, is really rude and not helpful at all. I don't think that's even his real name. I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company because they're not professional.
Pinnacle has ruined my credit report by using sneaky tactics (hidden client name)
Pinnacle has ruined my credit report by using sneaky tactics (hidden client name). They seem to wanna drag out the cases they got for money instead of actually fixing money problems, especially during the pandemic.
Pinnacle Recovery Inc doesn't give receipts or proof of payment
Pinnacle Recovery Inc doesn't give receipts or proof of payment. I've been waiting for my receipt for weeks. The person who assisted me was *** and I've been calling Pinnacle, but suddenly no one answers. They handle their transactions in a super unprofessional way. Usually, we would get a receipt or proof of payment.
If I could give it zero stars, I would
If I could give it zero stars, I would. They are rude, disrespectful, and not helpful. My first agent, *** b***, was rude and screamed at me when I calmly asked her not to speak to me disrespectfully. I lost my job due to COVID, and she stated I had to pay $380 a month. The next agent said ***. I've always taken care of my bills but fell short due to COVID, and she treated me like I was an idiot. Absolutely awful.
Pinnacle Recovery Inc is a company that seems to find every possible excuse to reject payments and prolong the process just to charge more fees
Pinnacle Recovery Inc is a company that seems to find every possible excuse to reject payments and prolong the process just to charge more fees. I didn't even have any communication with the original debtor regarding my late payment. I asked them twice to inform me about who they sent the mail to, but it took them a whole two weeks to respond. After confirming my debt, I promptly sent them my payment, but to my surprise, they sent me another letter claiming there were additional fees. These fees were never mentioned in any of the previous letters I received.
I got a call from Pinnacle Recovery Inc
I got a call from Pinnacle Recovery Inc. They asked me for info, but I don't feel comfy sharing that with someone who just randomly calls me. They didn't tell me anything either. They're rude and don't wanna work with people. Their collection fee is crazy high, they only took a little off and said it's the best they can do. I told them about the economic impact the world is facing, but they didn't care. Blue Green uses this agency, and I think it's a terrible choice. I've been an owner for 15 years, but both agencies don't care about that. I guess it's time to reconsider who I do business with. I'm a really unhappy timeshare owner.
I went online to pay Pinnacle, but the amount was more than what their letter said
I went online to pay Pinnacle, but the amount was more than what their letter said. However, I paid the full amount to resolve this issue. After waiting a week, I called the debt originator company, but they refused to talk to me because Pinnacle had not released my account. They instructed me to wait another week. While waiting for a resolution, I received another letter from Pinnacle stating that I owed even more money! They hold your account hostage, preventing you from resolving matters with the original company or with them. They fail to notify the original company, making it impossible to speak with them. Additionally, Pinnacle keeps adding fees to your account, causing the debt to increase endlessly. It's a major scam! I can't understand why any company would choose to work with them.
Pinnacle is a terrible collector to work with
Pinnacle is a terrible collector to work with. My experience is, I was told before making my payment arrangement to pay off the debt that I'd be able to reduce the fees once I was within an achievable amount to pay off the loan. "oh no problem, just ask and we will be able to take a couple of hundred dollars off for you. The original bill was about $500 and the collection amount was about $1200.00 Once I called to pay off the balance, ***. (who was really rude) told me they would take off $45 from my just over $700.00 balance. *** threatened to hang up on me for asking if there were any other reductions available. She also refused to give me a supervisor. I was not allowed to speak with another representative, my only options were to speak with her or get a callback. Even though I was willing to pay off the balance during the call we were on. She indicated that it was mandatory that I spoke with her ONLY. I'd advise anyone to avoid working with this collection agency at all costs. Especially working with ***. Other people that I spoke with there seemed nice and helpful. She was not either. Pay them and move on. Their fees are excessive and they are definitely in it to make lives miserable. I am hoping to get my proof of a receipt if not I have it on a screenshot from the processing.

I had to pay my maintenance fee for my timeshare, but I ended up missing the deadline by 2 weeks
I had to pay my maintenance fee for my timeshare, but I ended up missing the deadline by 2 weeks. As a result, they sent it over to Pinnacle for collections. The amount I owed to the timeshare for maintenance was $1542.15. However, Pinnacle added a collection fee of $616.86, which is a whopping 40% charge. I'm not sure if that's even legal.
I ain't responsible for this debt with *** Vacations and don't got no contract with Pinnacle Recovery
I ain't responsible for this debt with *** Vacations and don't got no contract with Pinnacle Recovery. They didn't give me the original application like I asked and the balance keeps changing on my credit report but I ain't received no notification in writing.
I got a timeshare with Bluegreen Vacations
I got a timeshare with Bluegreen Vacations. I couldn't pay the crazy maintenance fee in May 2022. They sent my account to Pinnacle, who's charging me a lot to settle my original debt. My account is frozen until I pay these really high fees to the collection agency.

I was told they would remove one of their fees, but the problem continues
I was told they would remove one of their fees, but the problem continues. I've left messages, but still no response. I spoke with George, I think, and he always gives me the runaround. They're the worst, trying to charge all these crazy fees even though they clearly said they would remove one of the timeshare fees.
I reached out to Pinnacle Recovery Inc on June 5th to ask for their assistance in retrieving my vehicle
I reached out to Pinnacle Recovery Inc on June 5th to ask for their assistance in retrieving my vehicle. We had a conversation and agreed on a payment plan of $600 on June 8th, and another $600 on June 23rd. I made my first payment, but they delayed taking action until June 14th, even though my vehicle had been taken on June 3rd. They suddenly stopped communicating with me on June 14th, and as a result, I still haven't gotten my car back. Unfortunately, I am now out $600 because of them.
My wife has been gettin' a '****' or better known as a 'threat letter' sayin' we're behind on our payments to our timeshare
My wife has been gettin' a '***' or better known as a 'threat letter' sayin' we're behind on our payments to our timeshare. But our timeshare is all good, no penalties or any bad stuff. I called 'em up and they said they ain't got nothin' to do with this company financially. Now they went ahead and put a collections account on my wife's credit report, which is totally illegal 'cause they ain't got no authority.
I paid my annual fee for my timeshare, but I didn't know there was an additional fee until Pinnacle contacted me
I paid my annual fee for my timeshare, but I didn't know there was an additional fee until Pinnacle contacted me. They mentioned several extra fees, but the amounts they gave me were different each time. They didn't provide any information on how to pay off these fees and even told me not to contact Whyham Newport On Shore, where I am an owner. Despite being a retired veteran and a widower, they haven't shown any concern for me during this global pandemic. I expressed my willingness to pay the timeshare fee and discuss the unfair fees, but they hung up on me twice, once when I wanted to speak to a supervisor.
I got a notice from Pinnacle Recovery Inc
I got a notice from Pinnacle Recovery Inc. to collect my timeshare maintenance fees. I sent the check in November directly to Wyndham, but it seems like it got lost because they never cashed it. Today, I called Wyndham to make the payment, but they told me that only Pinnacle can accept it. Pinnacle added a fee of $502.26, which is almost half of my maintenance fee. I called Pinnacle to make the payment without the added fee, but they refused to accept it without the extra charge. Just so you know, this has happened before. Even after receiving four notifications, Wyndham didn't update my mailing address. Last year, I ended up paying the additional fee to avoid it affecting my credit report, and I won't do that again. I have no issue paying the full maintenance fee, but I refuse to pay the outrageous collection fee.
I've been trying to resolve this account for two years
I've been trying to resolve this account for two years. I first contacted ComplaintsBoard.com case #*** (seflolorida.app.ComplaintsBoard.com), but they didn't want to help and didn't want to talk to my lawyer. They locked me out of my Bluegreen account and only let me access it in August if I wasn't represented by an attorney. I did this just to pay my 2020 maintenance fees, which I did in two payments. My concern is that I sent a certified USPO money order to Bluegreen for the 2019 maintenance fees of $687.90, and I have proof that they received it on 9/6. They acknowledged it but said I still owe $307.44 to Pinnacle, and all I wanted was proof. Since then, I have paid the 2020 maintenance fees and was about to pay the 2021 fees on 7/27 of $715, but they told me it was in collections since 1/28, even though it wasn't due. I received a replacement money order on 8/13 of $687.90 and want to pay the 2019 and 2021 fees.
PRi isn't a vendor to use for keeping customers after they resolve financial trouble
PRi isn't a vendor to use for keeping customers after they resolve financial trouble. My account was in arrears due to *** errors [*** Timeshare]. I couldn't pay online or pay partial payments. I had to wait until all money was available. Once available, the account was sent to collections. A letter mailed 1/31/23 stated *** due & late fees + PRi 29% collection fee, which was absurd already. I called PRi to pay full amount to client & extra for collection but told the *** increased on 2/1 since it is another month, incl. the client's monthly charge & another 29% bump. The rep was condescending & chastised me for owing money. I know they hear sob *** all day [she said, I hear it all day] but I called to resolve the debt in full. *** was more than stated in the letter, though my offer would have been sufficient for *** for debt owed. The client fee is due 2/24 so the debt could be resolved, gave PRi some profit, & moved on. That wasn't good enough. The clear aim was to take as much as possible. Looking at reviews & complaints, it's likely the *** Phone rep also misrepresented settlement offer w/ a low percentage off BUT miscalculated sum due. I asked to speak w/ supv after the phone rep decided to chastise and shame me to pay. I was asked for a call back but never happened. I emailed higher offer to satisfy *** profit needs w/ no reply. Now, I doubt the integrity of client & when resolved, I will end contract w/ client after a decade of patronage. I have paid ***s & ***s for timeshare & monthly fees just to be an ATM & a blank check they gave collection agency a blank check for whatever the collection agency wants. I share blame for exposure to PRi but I tried to make it quick & painless while being denigrated & ignored. I want to pay what is fair, $ owed + reasonable fees, which I can upon allowance. PRi concern to take as much as possible is not good for clients cust. Retention who had a good history until financial trouble.
