Some of the doctors actually care about their patients, but plenty of them seem to be getting kickbacks to diagnose covid without any true reasons to. Just because a person is unvaccinated does mot mean their cold and flu symptoms are covid and not everyone is willing to get tested. A 2 minute conversation cant truly diagnose anything. Even worse, i had a doctor refuse to meet with me until I got tested. What happened to due diligence in the medical field? I will not be using this company again.
We used the service and had a very nice visit while on a trip out of town
We used the service and had a very nice visit while on a trip out of town. So for that, it was very nice! However, they began charging a $14.99 monthly hidden fee and manages to get 3 months before I realized it! So bewarecheck your email. Check the fine print. Something just seems fishy.

I really admire ****************
I really admire ***. He is very kind and attentive. He never hurries our appointments and always follows through on his promises. I rate him 5 stars. As for the prescription, I appreciate that it only costs $14.99 per month. However, there have been a few occasions where I had to wait a long time for a response. The most recent one took 7 days. For this reason, I would give the subscription 3 stars. Overall, the most important thing to me is the doctor, and he is absolutely amazing! The appointment cost me $69, which is reasonable for a provider visit.
I had a good experience with the doctor I saw via virtual appointment for a sinus infection
I had a good experience with the doctor I saw via virtual appointment for a sinus infection. The doctor was polite and on time. Fast appointment and called in my antibiotic during the appointment. Had my medication within a few hours from my pharmacy. Also received a follow up email to see how I was. Thanks!
Honestly, I don't comprehend the negative feedback
Honestly, I don't comprehend the negative feedback. My encounters with PlushCare have consistently been outstanding, and I have been utilizing this telehealth service for a number of years. The billing process is precisely as they advertise. I have never encountered any instances of being charged twice or any questionable billing practices. The application is user-friendly, and scheduling appointments is effortless. My doctor, whose name I prefer not to mention, is exceptional. I am extremely thankful for PlushCare and my doctor, and I will continue to utilize this service and consult with them as frequently as necessary.
Deceptive Practices
Plushcare uses deceptive tactics to attract patients in need of care with false insurance acceptance. I found Plushcare online when I was in need of quick medical advice on a holiday. Their site has an insurance lookup tool to determine if the company accepts your insurance. The tool indicated that it DID accept my insurance and I went ahead with their service. A month later I was billed the full "no insurance" fee. After contacting my insurance I learned that they are considered out-of-network. Their tool was a scam.
Recommendation: BEWARE! I advise that you consider a different reputable telehealth provider that does not seek to take advantage of patients.
Fake review system
I had a horrible experience with a PlushCare doctor. She proceeded to end my appointment abruptly after hastily padding my insurance for unnecessary bloodwork that had nothing to do with my appointment. She was constantly invalidating that I had pcos, even though my gyno verified it via ultrasound.
The doctor’s profile on PlushCare has a rating system and reviews. I tried to leave a review but I couldn’t. I emailed customer service several times and got a automated message that had nothing to do with my issue.
I believe this is very deceitful to customers and it was unprofessional to not provide an official response to my customer service issue.
Recommendation: I don’t recommend to future customers.
Scam alert
First appointment I was told if a topical steroid doesn't work I would be prescribed an antibiotic. It didn't work and on the second visit with a different doctor I was told she'll give me a prescription for something that will not work and that I need to go to urgent care for a simple case of atopic dermatitis. When I asked for a When I asked for a second opinion, I was told it would cost an additional 100$ dollars. Absolutely do not waste your money here, start with a walk in
Recommendation: Go to a real doctor
The first doctor told me if the topical treatment for periocular dermatitis didn't work, the next step is oral antibiotics. During the follow up I got a different doctor who wrote me another topical prescription she said won't work and then told me to go to urgent care. I asked customer service for a refund or a new appointment with a different doctor (since I received no useful medical advice or interventions) and was told I could pay another 100$ for a second opinion. Customer service said they "trust the doctor" but I'd like to know which one they're trusting.
Horrible - complete rip-off
Was quoted $40 for a teledoc appt… was billed almost $100 a month later! I had three email exchanges with customer support. They did not offer a resolution and instead said the quote was only a reference point. They had my insurance information prior to the teledoc visit… so the quote should have been in the ballpark of what I was charged. Instead I was charged more than double for a basic phone visit. No labs. No follow-ups. Not an extended appointment. There were no additional services rendered that should have made the appointment bill higher. Support was not helpful and on top of that I was billed a monthly membership fee! Do not use this company! Stay away! I want a full refund.
Desired outcome: Refund
Recommendation: Do not use this service
Total Scam company
I scheduled an appointment with a doctor for weight loss, as this is one of the services they advertise. As soon as I met the doctor she was not interested in listening to me or helping me. As I was explaining my situation she offered several times to cancel the visit and refund me, as she had no intentions of prescribing me any weight loss medication no matter what. She explained the requirements for obtaining Wegovy, and I did not think I would qualify, but I wanted to know why I was gaining weight with no change in lifestyle, so I insisted and she finally offered to send me to get lab work done. The labs come back and my BMI is over range and my cholesterol is over range. Therefore I meet the requirement for obtaining Wegovy through my insurance, which I verified with them. When the Dr. gets my labs she sends me an email and says you are out of range but it is nothing to worry about and have a nice day. No explanation as to why she is not prescribing me the Wegovy and no offer to prescribe anything for the high cholesterol. I tried to call Plush but as of right now I have been on hold for 1 hour to talk to someone.
This company is a scam and these doctors do not care about patients and no service is provided at all.
Stay away from them.

This is an internet hustle to get old people to sign up for recurring payments for a worthless. service. Found a doctor, supposedly an allergist, listed on my insurance plan. Called and booked an appointment. The operator didn't seem to know the doctor or if they were even an allergist. I stupidly gave my credit card info to pay the copay for the video appointment. I receive an email with instructions to "find a well-lit place 5 minutes before the appointment. The day of the appointment arrived, I click n the video link and am forced to sign up for a membership to Plushcare. Once in the horrible interface, there's no record of my appointment and they charge me a no-show fee while I'm trying to figure out how to access the video appointment (there was no accessible video appointment. Called and demanded a refund and wasted half a workday for what amounts to an internet hustle. If this is even legal it's barely so. I truly believe this is meant to confuse and collect recurring payments & provide no service to people without regular healthcare. Whoever profits from this should be dragged through the streets like Gaddafi.

Doctors are usually a no show on they're appointments. Lots of openings for appointments but dosen't mean they will see you. My son had an ear infection and 2 Doctors in the same day hours apart did not show. Stay away save your money.
I scheduled an appointment Sunday 01/15 for Wednesday 01/18. Paid out of pocket $129.00. Appointment was accepted. Today 01/17 at 2:30pm my appointment was canceled with no explanation and no refund for the $129.00 I paid for the appointment. Cannot get anyone to answer the customer service message left and have yet to receive a message back in the app. Poor business. Do not recommend. I feel as if I was scammed.
had an appointment with a person named *** today and when I vocalized that I wanted a full blood panel done to not only stay ahead of my health but to see if it theres something causing my acne. She treated & talked to me as if I was 10 years old after I told her that and replied shes not chasing a full blood panel when she knows what my hormone levels are it. She even did air quotes when saying full blood panel like a full blood panel is something exotic or unknown. When I said how would you know what my hormone levels are @? She replied with since we already know what your hormone levels are doing, I would recommend getting back on birth control and not a full blood panel (she did air quotes AGAIN) She recommended birth control 4x even after I vocalized NOT wanting to go back on it. My whole visit just shows that this person (who should definitely NOT be referred to as a doctor) should be charged with malpractice. I thought OBGYNS were the only ones to push birth control but after todays visit I guess primary doctors do too now. I loose more and more faith in modern day medicine each time I go to the doctors.
I just had an appt at 830pm EST.. Dr. *** and he came on video and no sound. Message said they would call of there was a video issue and nothing. Waiting on hold for customer service. I want a complete refund.

I had my appointment for simple weight loss pills and he said he would write it and then asked for copies of my labs this year which I sent and he never did anything and billed my insurance company as well as my copay. He did not schedule a follow-up or order tests or write a prescription and then sent a message asking if I had any questions that I could make another appointment like pay twice for nothing! Every time I called they would handle me and say well each page doesn't have your date of birth like I have any control over what my doctors put in the report. It's a scam steer clear or be bilked for a lot of money for a bunch of nothing!
Prompt appointment slots were available, and my Doctor was fine in our video call, but she made an error afterwards and did not order my prescription like she said she would. After waiting 4 hours I called the customer care number, which led to a hold time of over a half hour. Their messaging service takes days. Meanwhile, this prescription is extremely time sensitive and I paid a lot for this visit! Of course I gave five stars at the end of the video call and now cannot undo that review.
Theyre horrible! Do not use them, theyre costing me $300 for missing work with *** but wont give me an excuse for work stating I had Covid. Ive contacted them MULTIPLE times with nothing! They do not need to be in business! Absolutely awful communication!
I just love ***. He is kind and listens. He never rushes our appointment and always does exactly what he says his going to do. I give him 5 ? now the prescription for $14.99 a month I like there definitely has been several times I have gone to long without response. Last one was 7 days. I would give the subscription 3 ?. All in all I really only care about the dr and he is AMAZING! My appt cost $69 . Total feasible to me for a provider visit
They're a scam, horrible company
They're a scam, horrible company. They market their service like it's amazing without ever mentioning monthly recurring fees. There's no mention of it before signing up. There's no mention of it after the doctor's appointment. It's a crony capitalistic service that majority of people don't need or use as far as doctor visits go. Never touched the app for 7 months and no follow up email that states, "We notice you haven't been using Plushcare. Here's a reminder of what you get for your paid monthly membership..." But that would require customer service and doing the right thing, wouldn't it?That would require not scamming people who had no clue they'd pay a monthly fee and just wanted doctor help to feel better, wouldn't it?Awful. Awful. Crony firm that hides its fees behind an FAQ so they can claim it's "legal." Bunch of hustlers is all that firm should be labeled. Even after my doctor visit and prescription, that didn't even make me feel better but I paid the visit out of respect for the doctor's *** and assistance. Had to get a new debit card to black list them. Huge inconvenience for anyone who understands saving information on bill payments.

I had my first visit and was given an antibiotic for a viral illness (12/12/2022). Also, prescribed a cough medicine that when researched was specifically NOT for a productive cough. The day after my antibiotics finished I awoke to worsening symptoms and scheduled another visit as I am only wanting to feel better. The second *** accused me of being disrespectful and combative. When I explained I only wanted to feel better and was relying on him as a trained medical professional he terminated my call and stated he was noting that I was not a good patient. His name is Dr. *** Dont waste your time, effort, energy or money in relying on this company or its doctors to assist you in your health and well being.

No support. No response to multiple messagesnot one from the doctor.. no response from *** Original appointment was 12/15/22. They had me complete my appeal paperwork because my insurance company, United Healthcare, wouldnt cover my prescription because it was *** approved, but not specifically for weight loss. Then 5 days later it still hadnt been filed with my insurance company. Last time I heard from anyone was 12/19/22. We arent supposed to need our medication over Christmas holiday? This is my healthneeded medication. They are taking peoples money and thats it?
Worst experience ever I felt extremely uncomfortable talking to her
Worst experience ever I felt extremely uncomfortable talking to her. The doctor was passive aggressive and didnt even allow me to speak. She didnt even ask how I was feeling she started off by saying what do you need. I feel like she should have said hello introduced herself or something and she was *** everything Im actually feeling very sick but Id rather die of covid then go back to her Very Rude (***) She was very uncaring to the point where I had to hang up in her face so Im not even sure how she completed the details of the appointment. (Probably just made something up) but, it was REALLY BAD I wish I would have recorded it. Her body language and face expressions were rude and she cut me off multiple times. I understand what she was saying she needed but before I could even explain or tell her how I was feeling she said theres none she can do to help.Yall should hire better physicians that are actually welcoming, caring, and want to help people and that are not rude and passive aggressive. I can tell she doesnt actually care about her patients. She was just there for the check. I dont even want my insurance paying for that appointment. Huge waist of time BE

I have had several appointments with one of their doctors who reccomended I try a semiglutide medication after ordering and reviewing my bloodwork results. The only reason I've had several appointments is because Plushcare does not 1) respond to emails 2) they do not answer the phone3) they don't reply to questions in the application. What they do is force you into making appointments to ask questions so they can bill your insurance company. The physician needed to fill out a pre authorization for this medication...that physician said she did but my insurance company is reporting she didn't. Of course no one picks up the phone or responds to.emails so in order to get the medicine issue squared away I will have to pay for an appointment with the Doctor. I need assistance, my insurance shouldn't get billed everytime I have to follow up to get a med put through my insurance that I've had three discussions about.

Had an appointment this morning for my boyfriend who is really sick with ***. The doctor claimed she sent a prescription to my pharmacy. I went to the pharmacy, and they had no prescription sent to them. Called Plushcare & waited an hour to speak to someone. They claimed that they resent it. Back to the pharmacy I go and I get denied that it ever happened again. I call back and Plushcare claims that they faxed the prescription and now they would call it in. A couple hours later I go back. Nothing. Complete waste of time, so unprofessional for something this serious. I am appalled. I want my money back I feel like I was scammed and now I have to find another doctor and another day my boyfriend has to be untreated and very sick.

If ZERO starts was an option this is what I would give Plushcare
If ZERO starts was an option this is what I would give Plushcare. We have recently moved to another state and there's a waitlist of over a month to get into a Dr. I needed a refill on my anxiety/PTSD meds. I have enough but wanted to get the ball rolling. When I logged in there was a banner that said Dr's can be up to 10 min late due to covid - whatever that means. *** was 13 min late for a 15 min appt. I filled out everything online so they knew the *** She gets on the phone to tell me it's a controlled substance and they cannot refill. Then she proceeds to tell me that I shouldn't really be on those meds b/c they are highly addictive, can get worse at my age, it's not meant to be a long term medication AND that there's a reason you shouldn't stop them immediately so that should give me some indication of how addictive they are. So she obviously didn't read my file at all because I lost my only child not even a year ago and this is the ONLY medication I take so I'm not up for weeks. I finally went back to work a few months ago so maybe instead of judging someone, have a little compassion or better yet read their file because it was all in there. So I spent $129 to be chastised like a kid by a "Dr" with a horrible bedside manner.

It's all about money
It's all about money. This was my experience- (keep in mind I'm a 63 y.o. retired nurse).I understood the "membership deal- having to pay a monthly fee blah, blah blah. What angered me was that I had a doctor's *** issues were discussed, labs were ordered and I needed refills for thyroid and estrogen. I take low dose estrogen to help prevent osteoporosis that is severe on both sides of my family. The doctor agreed to order the thyroid but wouldn't give me a refill for the estrogen until I had a mammogram. I had a mammo 3 years prior and didn't want to do another one.The doctor was not willing to give me the presription unless I did the mammo (she could have just put in the chart that she instructed me on the importance of the test and that I declined but she wouldn't do that). So I got the mammo- result was normal. I called in the presription to have the pharmacy contact the doctor. NO response. I waited and kept checking and when I called the pharmacy to see what the issue was they said that the doctor was not responding. You can't call the doctor yourself, you have to go through Plushcare so I contacted them to get them to contact the doctor. They refused stating that I have to make another doctor's *** what? So the doctor can tell me the results are normal and then get charged for the appointment? Like I said... It's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!

Honestly, I dont think this company even deserves a star at all
Honestly, I dont think this company even deserves a star at all. Absolutely ridiculous on the customer service they "provided" for me. I used them when I couldn't go anywhere else and was told a precription would be sent for my daughter the next morning to my pharmacy. The pharmacist could never get in touch with the doctor or company... I called and the service provider said they would get with their team for the medicine... THEY NEVER CONTACTED MY PHARMACY! As a company who runs on licencsed physicians this is extremely unethical. I had spend more money on a second visit where the actual pediatrician prescribed my daughter medicine in which we recieved within a hour. I have sent email after email after email and ZERO RESPONSE. But they sure do want their follow up on how they did... YOU DID NOT DO YOUR JOB AND YOU'RE STILL NOT DOING YOUR JOB! As a parent I am disgusted in the treatment I have recieved in order to better the health of my children and the lack of responsibility on EVERYONE'S end in this company. THE DOCTOR DID NOT EVEN RESPOND TO MY MESSAGE ABOUT NOT HAVING THE PRESCRIPTON IN OR RETURNING THE PHARMACISTS PHONE CALLS. I canceled my "subscription" that I didn't even know was part of the process and if I get charged at ALL, I will pursue legal responses toward this company. This is grotesque and down right wrong on the mistreatment of patients. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

False advertising & frustrating process
False advertising & frustrating process. I saw several ads that said they would diagnose asthma. I was not bothered initially when they told me to go to Urgent Care even though I knew they would prescribe me an inhaler. But after two confusing calls just minutes before my PlushCare appt. I was told I'd have to call back to make sure I don't get charged even though I was refused an appointment. I only wanted the one in the first place. Other false advertising is they make it seem simple if you decide not to keep a membership. I have health insurance. I thought this was still mandatory where I live...and idk why I'd pay for a membership I can't seem to use for any good reason. They told me I will need a breathing treatment (unsure if who I was talking with it if a doctor directed them). They don't do breathing treatments at urgent care anymore thanks to COVID. Breathing treatments ARE getting an inhaler and using that. That's what I ended up being told by an actual doctor at my networks Urgent Care when they diagnosed me with asthma. They didn't do any special tests for asthma, they listened to my concerns and could tell I was having trouble breathing as I have before for the last several years. I wanted to be able to make the process smooth and cheaper by going through PlushCare but it was a waste of time and a headache. Now we still have to be vigilant of getting charged for a service we aren't using and we're never allowed to use.
Use caution with this company
Use caution with this company.I signed up to use their services and the session with the healthcare profession went fine. As I was signing up and adding my credit card information, I was asked if Id like to sign up for a free 30-day service, and if I did so, Id automatically be enrolled in their monthly service for a $14.99 monthly fee unless I cancelled first. Needless to say, I chose not to sign up for the free month because to me, the auto-enroll option is a deceptive business practice.About a month later, I was surprised to see a $14.99 charge on my credit card. I called PlushCare to ask about the charge. The representative told me that I forgot to cancel my 30-day free trial so I was automatically enrolled in the monthly service (see first paragraph!). She cancelled my subscription but did not offer to refund the $14.99 charge. I had to call my bank to dispute the charge. So, if you do use PlushCare and dont want to enroll in their monthly program, make sure to check your credit card *** for the next couple of months to make sure that you are not a victim of their deception. And if you do opt in to the 30-day free trial but dont want to subscribe afterwards, set a reminder for yourself to cancel before you get charged for something you dont want.Lastly, if you do find that PlushCare enrolled you against your wishes, make sure to notify your bank and then give them the review they deserve on *** Yelp, complaintsboard.com (Complaintsboard.com) and any other site you can think of.

Plushcare Complaints 19
Failed delivery of weight loss treatment
In May of 2023, I found PlushCare online. I searched online for a physician who could address weight loss concerns and found PlushCare. It listed Dr. Felisha Sloan as a physician who could address weight loss issues. I had two appointments with her—one was an intake, which should literally be a form that a patient completes prior to the appointment with a physician (all Dr. Sloan did was fill in the blanks), and the second appointment was super brief and she attempted to refer me to an endocrinologist within the PlushCare system. If she was not capable of providing care, she should not be advertised as a physician who addresses weight loss concerns. In fact, it is my position that your platform should have immediately connected me with an endocrinologist instead of having Dr. Sloan as a middle person. This seems to be nothing more than a money grab and a quest for a way to bill patients and insurance companies for unnecessary things. A brief online search reflects a history of complaints for the same sort of issues with this physician.
Desired outcome: Refund.
Lack of customer service/incorrect billing
I wish I had done more homework, prior to scheduling an appointment. Based upon advertising, I decided to schedule a weight loss appointment. I met with the doctor and she agreed that I was a good candidate for the drugs, but I did need to have blood work done (an additional cost). I met with her after the blood work and she prescribed the 1st weight loss drug. She indicated that it could be quite expensive but never discussed that there was no way that my insurance would pay.
After my pharmacy let me know that the prescription would be $1000/mth, I scheduled another appointment so that she could write another prescription. The pharmacy did another pre-auth and it, too, came back at $1000/mth. I guess this could have gone on endlessly had I not given up at this point. I think this is a racket and they know just how to work patients, especially those of us who are a bit desperate to try something that might assist with weight loss.
To make matters worse, after 4 months, they are still billing me for $30. I have previously requested a detailed bill, but I only received an email epistle explaining that "insurance doesn't pay for everything." I payed the bill that they sent, but it was then refunded. Now they want the $30. Go figure. Customer service and billing has a turn around time of about 3 days and every answer I have received was useless.
Desired outcome: Detailed bill, removal of my name from all contact lists.
I would like my extra monthly fees reversed, and for my invoice to be accurate.
I have received multiple invoices. The very first invoice listed 5-6 appointments with a bunch of providers I’ve never see but I was billed for; I’ve only had 2 appointments.
PlushCare replied that because they service the whole country, the provider who I saw isn’t billed, it’s someone else… and that I was billed a separate appointment to have my health history reviewed. I explained that I was not informed of this practice; why would I pay 2 doctors for 2 appointments (at $199 each) for a 5 minute video call? Once that was removed, I received an updated invoice that showed what I owed and showed nothing about insurance payment being processed.
According to my insurance, they paid $25.28, and I should owe $25.28. However, the invoice sent to me shows that my insurance did not pay. My insurance paid so long ago that I have my EOB and have been in contact with them for documentation too. I'm super frustrated that I'm having to watch my invoices so closely; having been billed for visits I never had with providers I've never even heard of, and on top of that, I am being asked to pay for part of what my insurance has already processed and paid.
In addition, I sent multiple emails to suspend my monthly subscription and was still billed for 2 additional months.
Can you please have someone review this account, specifically why my insurance payment is not noted, and get back to me. I keep receiving an email saying my bill is due; but my bill in incorrect.

Deceptive practices, fraud and misinformation
I was told I need a prior authorization for a medication prescribed by my doctor. Their prioritization process is the most ridiculous process! In doctors offices, hospitals and urgent care offices, physicians complete prior authorization forms, and conduct all follow up activities associated with them since the process involves more than just submitting Information electronically!
They put a certain medical condition as the reason I was taking the medication on the initial form.
When I spoke to a Pharmacy Benefit rep for Anthem employees, I was told that this diagnosis cannot be used as a diagnosis to support approval for this particular drug!
A PlushCare rep also tried to tell me that, without having a certain medical diagnosis, the medication will not be approved. I was told, again by Anthem benefits rep that there are exceptions, depending on diagnosis and treatment. It is not their job to use that as a reason to Stonewall, me, or to refuse to pursue all avenues available to advocate for their patients! It is OK to advise me with that information, however.
When my insurance company requested that the doctor conduct a peer to peer conversation following each denial, I was stonewalled. I attempted to explain this to every plus care rep. I even had a benefit employee on the phone with a PlushCare rep, who acted as if she had never heard of the peer to peer process, and indicated to both of us that she had no clue as to how to get in contact with their prior authorization team! As a matter of fact, I asked my doctor about this at my appointment, and he has never had contact with a part of the prior authorization team! I have sent an email directly to my doctor, begging him to simply give my insurance company a call! I supplied the phone number and options to choose! Ask for a peer to peer conversation not being a part of your policy, that’s a flat out lie! This is not explained to me, and I did not see it anywhere in writing! This is simply a part of a physicians duty!
This is absolutely ridiculous and at this point. since they have made multiple mistakes in completing the prior authorization forms 3 times with 3 denials, the only way to remedy This is to ensure that my doctor will call the number given to them, and simply take 10 minutes out of his day to explain why am taking this medication! You cannot convince me that this is impossible! as a nurse, I hate fraudulent, healthcare tactics! And I am willing to do whatever it takes to dispose the negligence of this company, my insurance company has paid you to provide an my insurance company has paid you to provide a service to me plushCare. You have been pay for a service that you have a service that you have not totally nor correctly supplied and have kept me away from important medication because of your sloppiness! I’ll go as far as I need to go to see this to resolution! This includes seeking legal advice !
Desired outcome: Have my doctor to complete the peer to peer conversation in a timely and appropriate manner, which supports patient advocacy, and effective care, as well as provision of services, for which you have been paid!
I agree ☝️ had the same issues, currently having it right now..

I booked a telemedicine appointment with a doctor *** 12/22 I was billed $14.99 for a subscription plan I never signed up for. At the bottom of the bookings website, when clicking continue to agree to terms and services, there is a hyperlink to terms and services for booking an appointment and only upon reading the 13th term does it mention that when booking a doctors appointment recurring charges will occur.
is not a legitimate healthcare business. I have been prescribed 3 prescriptions that have not been able to be filled at any pharmacy as they are being written/coded in a manner to intentionally drive the patients to have to go back to plush cares physicians for another appointment that they are charging you for. *** attempted to reach out to their care coordinators for authorizations to be completed and get no answer on their customer service number and their chats tell you schedule another appointment which they will charge you for. After 2 months I have gotten no help for my health issue only prescriptions that cant be filled and more charges from *** care for their pointless appointments. This company needs to be shutdown for scamming people who are in need of healthcare help.
The fee was $129.00 for the first visit. I paid that knowing the cost going into it. With $129, I figured I would be paying a professional business with prompt response rates. I saw the doctor and he said I would need blood work done. I figured the cost would be rolled into it. Nope, its an additional $500 with Quest and they dont even have any appointments anytime soon in my area. Not a problem, Ill just request a refund (so I thought). These people wont answer my calls, messages or emails. *** waited on hold for an HOUR trying to reach them. And it seems like they do this often and to everyone. I wasted $129.00 on something I cant even use because theres more to pay behind the scenes than I could afford and I cant even reach anyone to get it corrected.
I scheduled a appointment the dr canceled the appointment I canceled the service due to the fact that this dr could not help they canceled my appointment when I had a sick kid! they left me out in the cold when i needed them so I wrote them about the service no answers I told them I wanted noting to do with them to cancel everything! I went to a local dr. after they could not help now I am being charged a membership fee when i am not a member never was never spoke to any dr about my sons issues this is theft I want and need my money back!
I pay for subscription service On my last visit with Dr
I pay for subscription service On my last visit with Dr. I got a refill to prescription I been taking for a few months.I went to pick it up my new insurance required prior authorization and I was told both by pharmacy and insurance company that this issue could be easily resolved with a call from the Dr. *** the insurance company explaining why I need the medicine and how its helped me.Instead I was made to fill out a firm by plushcare resulting in insurance to reject my refill.Additionally plushcare refuses to send me a copy of a written prescription so I can find alternative methods of refilling it.My issue is that I pay for the service and the visits and as part of that service plushcare should provide assistance to my issue. Their failed process is the reason why my prescription got denied. I was told multiple times this could be resolved via Dr *** call and they refuse to do it. Also, getting a prescription was also what I paid for and I should be able to obtain a copy because that also is what I paid for.

I work for my insurance company! I’m also a registered nurse! I can assure you that what this customer is saying is completely true. There is a certain way a prior authorization form must be filled out, and it is best filled out by a physician who is treating you! If, for some reason, the prior authorization is denied because it is missing some piece of pertinent information, there are two outcomes that can remedy this. The first is a peer to peer conversation, and the second is an appeal! The solution with the quickest turnaround is a peer to peer conversation and reduces the amount of time that a person is without medication! It’s a simple phone call that occurs between a physician and the insurance company and it is also the resolution that gets the better result! An appeal can take between 30 to 90 days to resolve! Everything I just described, is what physicians do every day in doctors offices, hospitals and urgent care offices! It should be the same service that you should be providing for your customers! Plus h care is a telemedicine company! The only difference is that you are not seeing these positions in person. They should not, however alter the service that they provide!
I contacted PlushCare because they advertise physicians who will prescribe prep. I paid them for the online consultation and underwent extensive bloodwork to submit to them. After no response, I was finally told that there was something wrong with my bloodwork and I needed to contact a physician. Theyre a scam business advertising something simple, however they just want me to keep spending money on online Doctor visits. I want the money I spent with them back, and the $400 I spent on bloodwork, or for them to actually do what I went there for. A prescription for prep.
On September 26th I used this company. For *** for services rendered. Afterward I noticed a continuous monthly bill for ***. This has been going on for three months. I was never told or been informed I was automatically signing up for a subscription. The 800 number I called never answered my call. Which I know why.! This is just flat out fraud.

I spoke with a doctor on Sunday 8/21/22 about an issue related to domestic abuse. She said she was going to write me an off work note for that week so I could decompress before returning. The note was never sent, so I reached out to customer service via the app which states patients will receive a response within 1-2 hours. 12 hours later, I still hadnt received a response. I reached out via the app again and via email then called the customer service number.I was placed in a queue that was supposed to be a 6 minute wait but was not answered after 15 minutes, so I placed myself on the call back list. I was called back about 35 minutes later by customer service rep *** who yelled at and berated me. I asked to speak with her manager and she refused saying she would only give me her name then continued to scream at me that she was going to disconnect the call and hung up.This display of abuse was absolutely appalling and reminiscent of the very abuse that put me in the position of needing medical care. PlushCare should be ashamed.

Date of transaction: 11/02/22 Physician consulted with: *** Issue: When I scheduled a telehealth appointment, they made me pay a copay of $20, even though my insurance benefits has a $10 for telehealth. They stated that once I had an ***, to send it to them and they will reimburse me. I finally received the *** showing the processed claim and that my responsibility was $10. I messaged PlushCare on 12/05/22 with that ***. The billing representative that was assigned to my case refuses to refund it because she states the *** does not have the correct information. I have verified 5 times that the *** provided shows all correct information.
I scheduled an appointment for 10:45am on December 09, 2022. The doctor never called and I was charged $50.00. They will not answer the phone. I have left several messages and no one has called me back.
This business is a scam. My pharmacy has been trying to contact PlushCare for authorization on a medication that I need to get before it goes out of stock and hasn't been able to reach them. They claim you can reach them via a "care coordinator." They don't respond to chats and if you try and call them you will endlessly wait on hold. This is even more ridiculous when you consider that you pay a monthly fee to be a part of their program. I should have gone the traditional route and used a doctor's *** because at least you will be able to get a hold of them. They shouldn't be allowed to work in the healthcare industry because they neglect their patients.
I was unaware that I was being enrolled in a monthly subscription! I had two legitimate online calls but was charged for 14 additional months at $14.99 per month. Plushcare refunded only 4 months of that and told me to go through my bank to file a dispute for the other 10 months of which I have done. I am extremely disappointed with this company for not ensuring customers understand their process.

Used this site back in Sept 2021 for one visit where the provider immediately told me she could not help me and i would be refunded. Proceeded to cancel my membership. Now its 4 months later and i get an email from my insurance saying my claim had been denied from 12/6. I had to do some digging to figure out who the MD was related to and turns out it was PlushCare and my insurance was denying a $134 claim from them. I reached out to PlushCare and was told it was an annual healthcare assessment strictly based on what Info had put in for my initial sign up. I was not contacted, consulted or any thing discussed regarding this assessment they billed my insurance for. I did not agree to this assessment at all. Im then told by PlushCare that it was billed as a telehealth visit (without my knowledge or agreement) and that my insurance cant deny it and i shouldnt be charged ummmm how about you stop illegally billing for something you do not provide? this company is shady and i have launched an investigation with my insurance. STAY AWAY!

The app would not let me in so I tried the website which also would not let me in. I reset my password still cannot get in. I called the phone number we said this will take nine minutes, no answer. Then they charge me a late fee or a no-show fee for not attending. So I call for two hours still no answer, call back hung up immediately.

Plushcare has taken my credit card - charged me for an telehealth appointment that not only didnt work but I didnt received my full allotment of time due to none of the video or conferencing links they sent me working. I asked FOR ONE APPT when I was desperately sick and couldnt get an appt at local doctors office. I NEVER signed up for a membership NEVER ONCE was I indicated to that I would be receiving a repeated fee. I would not have signed up for such a service and never have. This was not disclosed that they would continue charging my credit card every month for service I NEVER signed up for or asked for. This company is dishonest and deceptive. I have tried / attempted to have my Bank dispute all of the monthly charges but Plushcare continues to charge me. I paid a lot of money for ONE APPT. THAT IS ALL I ASKED FOR ONE APPT. I did not sign up for a repeated fee and was not indicated that I would be receiving a repeated fee. The service was poor and ineffective - this company is a deceptive and their services and business practices are questionable. Please help me get my money back for these monthly fees and please make it clear that this company is not to be trusted on your website.

On March 10th searched for a tele-med company and Plushcare was found. I submitted my information, the doctor was available at 11:30 pm. We spoke for 7 minutes, he submitted a prescription and that was it. The next morning I found out it was for only 30 days, and Plushcare would *** be for a monthly membership. I cancelled immediately. The med he prescribed has to be long term only - so I still have to see my own doctor for the exact same thing, Today (March 22) I saw that my insurance was billed for two visits. I paid $39.80 out of pocket on the 10th, for that visit they billed my insurance $199 - and I will still owe $29.70! They also billed my insurance for a claim on March 17th for $134.00 and I will still owe $13.06 - I had ZERO further to do with this comany after the 7 minutes on the 10th. I called them today and the lady on the phone would not listen to me - the WORST customer rep I have ever spoken with. She yelled over me trying to speak, I asked for a manager and she put me on hold for 14 minutes, said no manager is available and they would call me back - never asked for my call back or anything - then proceeded to argue with me MORE. I am disputing this with my insurance company - this company is dishonest and should be shut down.

Plushcare is operating a business that is built on deceptive practices
Plushcare is operating a business that is built on deceptive practices. The subscription plan is surreptitiously mentioned buried in the body of an appointment confirmation email. If a patient misses it, that charge will occur indefinitely. The deception is that Plushcare purposely does not send any notifications to the patient (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually) to indicate that the patient is being billed. Unlike other services that send these notifications along with instructions if the customer wants to terminate the subscription, Plushcare makes profits by operating below the radar of unsuspecting patients. In the end, if a customer does not catch these charged, he or she could be spending hundreds or thousands of dollars for a single doctor's *** Plushcare also takes advantage of patients at their most vulnerable state: when they are ill and desperate for medical care. The last thing they suspect, is that an unscrupulous company, motivated by greed, is out to fleece them for hundreds of dollars. As I read the Complaintsboard.com complaint, I see that this is an ongoing problem that will only be resolved by two actions: investigation by the state district attorney's office or a class action lawsuit. Several attempts to have this resolved to my satisfaction have been ignored.

I paid $129 for an online consultation with a physician in order to receive my annual thyroid prescription
I paid $129 for an online consultation with a physician in order to receive my annual thyroid prescription. When I went to the pharmacy to pick up the prescription, they told me that the Doctor only prescribed 2 months worth of medication instead of 12 months which is the normal period for this type of medication. When I followed up with PlushCare via email, I was told that in order to receive the prescription, I have to stay in their subscription service and pay an additional fee for follow up doctor *** in 2 months and then again every 3 months. I have been on this medication for 30+ years and have never been asked to pay for follow up ***, it is always prescribed for a full year based on TSH results.I was not warned in advance that I would be forced into a full year membership -- I used them a year ago and was given the prescription as requested for the full year without paying monthly fees. I do not see anywhere on their website that they force you to continue paying for doctor *** throughout the year in addition to monthly fees. This seems like unethical medicine practice to keep billing my card for unnecessary ***.I am requesting a full refund of $129 for the doctor's visit as I will have to start over with trying to find a way to fulfill this prescription elsewhere. Thank you

I became a customer of *** several months ago, August or September
I became a customer of *** several months ago, August or September. I was initially matched with a doctor who had me take multiple tests with Quest Diagnostics. This doctor explained to me that all tests were included with the PlushCare service and covered by PlushCare as they can get the tests for much better rates than consumers. As such, I went to Quest and took the tests. Thereafter my results came back confirming I needed a particular type of medicine which was not covered by my insurance. I requested one particular brand as they have a customer coupon for those whose insurance does not cover the medicine. For reasons never explained (ego? control?) a different brand of the same medication was prescribed. I tried to get this covered by my insurance including weeks of back and forth with CVS, the manufacturer, and my insurance. Sure enough I was unable to get it covered. I requested the prescription be switched to the more affordable one and was told that my doctor was no longer with PlushCare and I'd have to have a new appointment (at a cost, of course). At this point I received two bills in the mail from Quest Diagnostics totaling ***. I emailed them to PlushCare who told me they were not covered. I never would have had the tests done if I hadn't been expressly told they were covered/included. This has been a monumental waste of time and money.

I first contacted *** because I'd pulled a muscle in my back and needed relief in a home setting because the pain made it impossible to drive. I saw *** by video call which lasted a few minutes for $189.00 plus $69.00. He gave me two rxs. The week of taking this medication I began swelling and had very low urine output and saw blood in my urine. I contacted *** again for 69.oo and he merely prescribed a diuretic. Fast forward to my third visit where I saw *** for $69. I explained the circumstances because I was in pain and needed and alternative back medication. The called ended and he'd merely prescribed the exact medication as ***. So I merely gave up. While on vacation I'd contracted pneumonia and like a fool once more sought treatment from plushcare. Just as with my first few visits, I was not listened to and prescribed sufficient medication to treat the illness. I contacted them once more four days later and was given insufficient medication to treat. She was suspicious about my motives in "remaining ill" or those words were the message I received for the price of another 69. Burning the money I paid for treatment from this company would have brought me better health in the long run. I am writing this account from a bed in a local hospital. Something should be learned by treating medical care just like any other shopping app.

I met with a physician for 15 minutes during which time I was told prescription weight loss medicine would not work for me (the purpose for my visit) that I probably have bipolar disorder, and need in patient rehab. I felt the physician did not listen and was looking to refer as many additional services as possible (psychiatry and alcohol treatment). I am already on two pmdaily prescriptions for my mental health and have worked very hard on my sobriety the past two years which were both shattered by this physician. I stated twice during the appointment that I was not happy. In her visit summary she indicated that she would not move forward with any other treatment until the other issues were addressed and again pushed the two referrals. After two days of contemplation, I emailed the care team in an attempt to resolve what I was trying to view as only a misunderstanding and provided a more thorough medical history included several details of my dealings with alcohol in order to clear the misunderstanding and move forward. I was called by the doctor who insinuated that I was lying about my sobriety and definitely needed rehab and was scheduled to meet with a director to determine which medical history (her notes or my email) was the truth. Or I could take a refund and leave. I met with the director and was offered a different doctor or a refund and felt no resolution to how I was treated. Im devastated. I felt completely judged and dismissed by the physician and cannot imagine trusting that company with my care going forward.

I was seeking *** services in January 2022
I was seeking *** services in January 2022. I came across Plushcare, which is an online business that has licensed providers and accept insurance. I scheduled an appointment on January 25. I attended the appointment, and I received an Rx sent to my pharmacy, all which were paid with my HSA card. I received a spam email on January 26 after the appointment and picking up Rx, stating that I was under a 30 day subscription until February 24th and would be charged *** every month if it was not cancelled. I did not see the email, as I was never told in emails prior that I had subscribed to any monthly agreement. After seeing this email a couple months after receiving it, I have made several attempts to follow steps from the email on cancelling the subscription, and it would take reroute me to a page that said page not found. I have tried calling their customer service line at ***, and I wait on hold for hours. I have selected the option for a call back and nobody returns my calls. All the while they have continued to draft $*** from my HSA account between the 26th and the 28th each month from February through November. I have only used the service one time and that was in January. I never agreed to a subscription, nor was I advised of one from the beginning. I desperately need help cancelling this subscription and getting a refund in the amount of $149.90 which includes 10 unauthorized payments of ***. I have seen online, and there are multiple reviews where people have had this same problem, and it needs to be addressed. I am attaching emails and if anything else is needed please email me at *** or call me at ***, and I can send whatever is needed.

I contacted PlushCare for what I was told would be a convenient, low cost way to get in front of a doctor
I contacted PlushCare for what I was told would be a convenient, low cost way to get in front of a doctor. The posted cost online for what I was seeking was around $91.00. However, upon completing the questionnaire and medical info I was upsold into a $129.00 upfront fee and unwillingly signed up for a monthly membership. The meeting with the doctor did not meet my needs, nor did I feel that my medical issue was properly addressed, instead it felt forced and rushed so the doctor could prescribe some overpriced and unnecessary medication to meet his quota and get his kickback paid. He was not able to prescribe the medication I was seeking to aid with weight loss (which by the way costs less than $5 a month with good RX Gold) that I had been previously recommended in the past, however instead he prescribed a medication commonly used for Type 2 diabetes that costs around $1000 a month! This was his trial suggestion and did his best to talk me out of considering phentermine, which is usually recommended for this type of request as it was not available thru a Teladoc appointment. This is something that should be disclosed prior to taking someone's money for a visit that they have no use for. Not at all what I asked for nor what is affordable, informative or helpful. After reading all of the reviews about this company it seems they just want to collect fees, charge monthly memberships, but provide no actual medical service or advice.I was told my refund request would have to be reviewed, considered and approved, should they choose to do so based on my complaint. I feel like I had my time and money wasted, my anxiety levels risen due to the erroneous prescription provided that would cause me more harm than good, not to mention the high cost of just trying something that is actually used for a totally different condition. In summation I would never use this service moving forward, and I request my money back for services NOT RENDERED.

Money paid is as follows in addition to a couple years od service at $14.99 a month. : Dec 27-1$4.99; Dec 6-$59; Nov 28-$14.99; Oct. 28th-$14.99; Sept 26-$14.99;Aug 26-$14.99; July 26-$14.99. The state 1-2 days for response from care coordinator, 1-2 hoiurs for a nurse and 1-2 daysw for the doctor. repeatedly I have had messages go without response from the nurse and carecoordinator. which was in regards to lab work i needed to have done. and questios on trying to pay for it due to there claim of 15$ lab work as advertised. which ends up being for each panel done and not all are that price either. But regardless i asked them to please charge the card on file for the $90 anyways, which they never did. The lab order forms i get refer to the price being an estimate and for the lab to collect my insurance and copay. they consistently don't reply or at least not in the claimed timely manor, which has caused my *** infection to get out of control for more than once now to the point it becomes life threatening and i become hypertensive with severe fever and inability to function. One would suspect either they dont have th3e proper staffing in place or they are trying to get you to book more appointment than necessary just to get a basic question answered; at the expense of others health and life for that point. Due to the lack of responsiveness and help as they so advertised to have, I likely have got this infection in my bloodstream and all over my body noiw as im having these infections all over now. It has caused extensive scarring, and changes to myself to where the infections were leaves a void and emptiness fom the absence of tissue and bone that was once there. If they would of taken my health or even just proform to the claimed advertised level stated, and not leave me hanging as the *** infection grows and spreads, I feel that due to this, *** will be the end of me when it could of been sucessfully treated and eradicated from start.

This is the third transaction of $14.99. I have just realized the money was coming out of my account. I never applied for a membership or authorized it. I cant get them on the phone to cancel.
I signed up for this app because they said they took my insurance and they would help me with weight loss , I had my first appointment via FaceTime with the doctor, she said she could help she just needed to send me for blood work before she could do anything and we would follow up in a week. First appointment cost $30 for copay ( unsure how much how much I will owe after its sent to insurance) so I get blood work done and have my second appointment a week later ( now another copay ) she tells me she can prescribe me ozempic and also something else for nausea. She tells me to check out her you tube channel and ends the call. Now its 2 days later and no prescriptions have been called in. Ive called, emailed , and in app messaged and I still do not have any answers or prescriptions. There is also a $15 monthly fee to get nothing.
