Poem Hunter Review: A Great Resource for Poetry Lovers
I mean, it's pretty easy to use and find what you're looking for. The poems are sorted by author, title, and even by topic. So if you're in the mood for something specific, you can just search for it and voila! There it is.
The only thing that bugs me a little bit is that sometimes the formatting of the poems is a little wonky. Like, the lines aren't spaced out correctly or something. But that's not a big deal, really. It doesn't affect the actual content of the poem, so it's not a huge issue.
Overall, I really like Poem Hunter. It's a great resource for anyone who loves poetry. There are so many poems on there, from classic works to more modern pieces. And you can even submit your own poems if you're feeling creative! So if you're looking for a place to read some great poetry, definitely check out Poem Hunter.
Discover a World of Poetry: A Review of Poem Hunter: Poems
i gotta say, Poem Hunter: Poems is a pretty cool site for all you poetry lovers out there. i mean, i was just looking for one poem and ended up spending hours reading through all the different poets and their works. it's like a whole library of poetry at your fingertips!
the site is super easy to navigate and you can search for poems by author, title, or even keywords. i really appreciated that because sometimes i just have a certain feeling or idea in mind and want to find a poem that matches it. and with over 1 million poems on the site, there's definitely something for everyone.
i also like that you can create an account and save your favorite poems. that way, you can come back to them later and read them again or share them with friends. there's even a section for discussions where you can talk about different poems and poets with other users.
now, i will say that there are some spelling and grammar errors on the site. but honestly, that just makes it feel more authentic to me. like these are real people writing and sharing their poetry, not some polished and perfect machine-generated content. and the errors don't really detract from the overall experience.
so if you're a fan of poetry or just looking for some inspiration, i definitely recommend checking out Poem Hunter: Poems. it's a great resource and a fun way to discover new poets and works.

One thing I really like about Poem Hunter is that you can read poems from famous poets like William Shakespeare and Emily Dickinson. You can also read poems from lesser-known poets who are just starting out. It's a great way to discover new poets and new styles of poetry.
The site is also really easy to navigate. You can browse poems by category, such as love poems, funny poems, or sad poems. You can also browse poems by country, so you can find poems from all over the world.

Mixed Quality Poetry: A Review of Poem Hunter: Poems Website
Poem Hunter: Poems (poemhunter.com) is a website where anyone can post their poetry, whether they are a guy, person, or even a dog. The quality of the poetry varies greatly, and it can be difficult to find truly good poetry among the mediocre and bad. However, there are some real poets on the site who are informative and awesome if you can understand their work.
The reviewers on the site are not always knowledgeable, and they often praise poetry that is not actually good. This can be frustrating for those who are looking for quality poetry to read and enjoy. However, if you are willing to sift through the bad poetry, you can find some real gems on the site.
One of the best things about Poem Hunter: Poems is that it is a great place for aspiring poets to share their work and get feedback from others. This can be incredibly helpful for those who are just starting out and are looking for ways to improve their writing.
Overall, Poem Hunter: Poems is a mixed bag. There is a lot of bad poetry on the site, but there are also some real poets who are worth reading. If you are willing to put in the effort to find the good poetry, you can have a great experience on the site.
Poemhunter.com: Beware of Plagiarism and Inaccuracy in Poetry Collection
This website ain't the most reliable place to find poems. There's this one dude who's supposed to be an author, but he's a total copycat. And the folks who run Poemhunter.com don't do nothing about it! I've tried to tell 'em, but they don't seem to care.
I'm a teacher, and it really grinds my gears when people don't give credit where it's due. It's important to be honest and accurate when it comes to poetry, whether it's from famous poets or folks you've never heard of. That's why I'm telling y'all - don't waste your time on this site. It's full of fakes and phonies!
Poemhunter: A Playground for Trolls - A Disaster of a Website
This website is a complete disaster. The people who run it are terrible at their job. I got totally trashed on there and they even put my address out there for everyone to see. I've been getting threats from some crazy person who made up lies about me because they have a problem with one of my friends. I tried to tell the people who run Poemhunter about it, but they never got back to me. This website is a total joke. It's like a playground for trolls who pretend to be nice. This whole thing has been really bad for my health and my life. The people who run this site don't even follow their own rules and they're too dumb to even respond when something serious happens. They should just shut it down right now.
Review: Poemhunter.com - A Great Resource for Poetry Lovers, But Beware of Pop-Ups
I absolutely love reading poetry, especially when I'm at home with my collection of poetry books. I find myself constantly swooning over the beautiful words and emotions that poets are able to convey through their work. Recently, I've been reading the works of some of my favorite poets like e. E. cummings, charles bukowski, emily $#*!inson, jack gilbert, and leonard cohen.
Whenever I come across a poem that I want to share with someone else, I turn to poemhunter.com. It's a great resource for finding poems in copy and paste form. Most of the time, it works perfectly fine. However, there are times when I hit the search button and get a spammy pop-up telling me that I've just won an iPad. I mean, come on! All I want to do is read some Langston Hughes in peace, man!
I have to admit, I'm not sure if I'm ready to switch to reading poetry on my Kindle or computer just yet. There's something about holding a physical book in my hands and flipping through the pages that just can't be replicated digitally. However, I might be more inclined to read poetry online if sites like poemhunter were a little more aesthetically pleasing and less sneaky-spammy.
Overall, I would definitely recommend poemhunter to anyone who loves poetry. It's a great resource for finding and sharing poems, and it's completely free to use. Just be prepared to deal with the occasional spammy pop-up.
Poem Hunter: A Free Resource for Poetry Lovers, But Beware of Trolling and Advertisements
This website, Poem Hunter: Poems (poemhunter.com), is a pretty good resource for poetry lovers. The best part is that it's free! However, the downside is that there are so many advertisements on the site that it can be seriously frustrating to use. It's hard to focus on reading, posting, and exchanging poetry comments when you're constantly being bombarded with ads.
Another downside to the site is that there is a lot of trolling, doxing, and abuse that happens on there. It's woven into the fabric of the site, and the administrators don't seem to do anything to prevent it. I myself have been a victim of this kind of behavior. I was trolled, my private details were posted, and I received threats. When I reached out to the admin for help, I received no support whatsoever. It wasn't until I threatened legal action and began contacting their advertisers to inform them of the bullying and trolling that they started to react. Even then, they seemed to think that I was the problem rather than the small group of perpetrators.
If the administrators of this site can't monitor and administer it effectively, and if they don't seem to care about their members, then they should just close the website down. It's not worth it to have a site that's so full of negativity and abuse. In fact, many people are already abandoning the site because of these issues. It's sad to see, but I wouldn't be surprised if the site eventually closes down because of it.
Poem Hunter: A Massive Database of Poets and Their Poems - A Review
Me Ravi Panamanna, been postin' poems on Poem Hunter since January 2009. Got 251 poems up on this site and let me tell ya, it's got a massive database of poets and their poems. Folks be searchin' for quality poems on this site for their projects and studies. One of my poems even got picked for a visual project by some UK media students. That's pretty cool, ain't it? This site is watched, I tell ya. Plus, Google and Yahoo search engines show links to regular poets and their poems on this site. That's a big deal, ya know? Everything's free and transparent, never had no problems with it. This site's given me a facelift as a poet and I've made a lot of poet friends through it. Ain't nobody given me no bad comments on my poems neither. I'd recommend this site to anybody.
Them ads on the site ain't too bad neither. They got enough info and don't get in the way of the poems or comments. They even add to the poet's page. The system seems to pick ads based on the poet's interests and location, and there's random ads too.
The video poems on Poem Hunter are the best part. Almost all poems get turned into videos right away. That's pretty impressive.
And then there's the poet grading from 1 to 6. That makes a poet more popular and worthy. Overall, Poem Hunter's a great site for poets and poetry lovers.
Poem Hunter: A Strange and Unwelcoming Environment for Poets
I've been on the internet for a long time, and I've been publishing poetry since 1983. I've tried out a lot of poetry sites, but I have to say that Poem Hunter is one of the strangest ones I've come across.
I signed up for a free account and set up my profile, uploading a photo and posting my first poem. But after waiting for over five hours, my poem was still "pending" and not visible to anyone. I didn't expect it to be rated until it was visible, and I'm always wary of rating systems because they can be easily abused. I saw other poets receiving five-star ratings, but I know from my vast experience that every poem I post is worthy of sharing. Many of my poems have been previously published, and not just in vanity publishing.
When I recently returned to the Poem Hunter site, I saw that my poem was still "pending," but someone had already given it a rating of 2.33. This was clearly unfair because my poem hadn't even been seen by anyone yet. I felt like I was being judged based on my appearance or for some other unknown reason. This kind of behavior is not conducive to creativity, and it's not a welcoming environment for anyone.
I tried to fix the problem by adjusting my profile so that I wouldn't receive subhuman ratings from online trolls who enjoy knocking people down. But unfortunately, there was no way for me to update my rating score. So I decided to delete my account.
I've won numerous awards for my poetry and have had many pieces published in various regions of the world and in every state in my country. I deleted my account and would advise others not to patronize this site, especially if you're a novice. The appalling behavior I experienced on this site would crush the confidence of anyone just starting out.
While Poem Hunter is good for reference and reading, I would never recommend anyone become a member of a site that knocks an artist down before they've even had a chance to share their work. The time delay alone in the "pending" state is disheartening, and the cruel ratings from artless, subhuman dropkicks who haven't even seen my work made me leave the site in an instant.
