Seven West Media / Channel 7 TV program timing

We are getting seriously upset by programs overrunning into other programs timing.
This especially applies to Australian Idol which we do not want to see, but overran by 20 mins on March 10th to 8-50 pm.
As this program is pre-recorded you should know how long it is, so at least tell us the correct finishing time so, we can watch the following program!
This was not the first time.
When the second week of Mr Bates vs the Post Office, we recorded the program as we were out, so we missed the last 5 mins because of Australian Idol.

Desired outcome: Publish accurate finish times !!!!

Seven West Media / Channel 7 Australian Idol judge Kyle & show producers

Kyle uses hateful, hurtful, bullying comments to contestants & audience during season 9 (2024). Producers are allowing this to be aired on the show. In this day & age we should not be tolerating such vitriolic language, it should not be admired or promoted to "help people toughen up, that's the industry". Mental health issues are rampant currently in Australia. I am a registered nurse and GPs & the medical profession in general are overwhelmed.

Desired outcome: Either replace Kyle or censor his verbal abuse. No hate, no spite, no pain to those who give it a go. Helpful, kind & non threatening judgements from Marcia & Amy are appreciated.

Seven West Media / Channel 7 Sunrise Sunday morning 31/12/2023

My complaint is about the grammar the male host 31/12/2024, He started talking about gen Z, why is this mad allowed to use the wrong grammar in a discussion, it was about Gen Z, he must know he should use English grammar and not American grammar, he started his interview with the American Gen Zeeee instead of Australian English which is taught in our schools, which is Zed, he has used the wrong grammar mant times as well as the weather man at different times, why are thes employees corrected and told to use the grammar that is taught in Australian schools, what is done about incorrect grammar?

Seven West Media / Channel 7 Advertising and content

I am discusted with the sexualised content in the adds. It is entirely inapropriate to have this type on content in any show let alone an add break! I have removed 7plus and will never watch anything from channel 7 again. Absolutely fowl. This content feeds the sexualisation of women and further increases sexual abuse in society. It normalises pornography with strong links to human trafficking. Channel seven is influencing and encouraging criminal abusive behaviour in society by its content.

Seven West Media / Channel 7 The Magic Touch Company

I was watching The Voice, this afternoon (Monday Oct 9th 2023), with children present.

Much to my disgust there were repeated advertisements for the Magic Touch Company.

Just the use of the word Magic is attractive to children, and inevitably prompts inquiry as to what the content of the advertisement means.

It’s totally inappropriate to have such advertisements aired at this time of day and equally inappropriate to have such content attached to any family oriented programme at any time of the day.

Magic Touch products should not be advertised until late, after Minors are well and truly in bed.

Have you completely lost your moral compass?

Desired outcome: Removal of this Advertisement, and any other like advertisements, during both day and evening viewing time.

Seven West Media / Channel 7 AFL commentating

I really enjoy watching the live AFL but I find James Brayshaw and Brian Taylor bias towards Collingwood infuriating to watch. As a west Australian I am happy to watch any team but these two commentators drive me insane with their bias, almost to the point they make me want to turn the tv off 😡 Their commentating of tonight’s game between Collingwood and Brisbane, perfect example. Sooo frustrating to listen to.

Seven West Media / Channel 7 Women’s World Cup on Channel Seven network in Australia

I wish to lodge a complaint about the Seven West coverage of the Women’s World Cup in Australia on free to air television. Only broadcasting a handful of matches out of the whole program on the Seven network is appalling. The Highlights Show should be at least an hour to try and compensate for this yet is only half an hour and subtracting advertisements, commentator chat, social media review, next day previews and historical replays leaves only 2 to 3 minutes from each of the three previous day’s matches - this is your vision of a highlights show? And there’s more, the highlights show only appears to be available live not as catchup on 7plus. Whoever in your decision making body decided it would be a great idea to bid for and promote, but then not show this wonderful competition on our own doorstep needs to find another job.

And dont forget just how biased their broadcast is and has been ( im Australian and support the Matilda's) after last match, the next day lets show ALL the successful shots at goal during the penalty shoot-out by OZ, then lets show ALL the ones France missed! Lol pathetic ch7

As a watcher of free to air tv, l am as is the majority of Australian viewers totally sick of over represtation of tqra+! programs.

LGB is distancing itself from these sick drag, rude, disrespectable, fetish, gromming, pedophiliac ideals.

The majority of you viewers (99%), are sick to death of the delusional ideals being shoved down the majorities throat. As the majority you must reduce the over repentational of tqrsfucked ideal minorities.

We want main screen viewing that children can sit and watch without these sick ideals.

You are being groslly irresponsible by not refecting the overwhelming atitudes of Australian society.

Seven West Media / Channel 7 Inappropriate commercial

I do not want to see the commercial from Extra chewing gum with two girl going at it.

I think its inappropriate while watching TV with my young children and seeing the add, it makes me feel very uncomfortable. I'm not against people who are different from me but it is not something that I want to constantly see over and over again during 1 program.

Seven West Media / Channel 7 Channel 7 Programming

Today the Ben Roberts verdict was handed down, one of which no one really cares about….

But oh no Channel 7 has to totally disrupt the afternoon schedule to feature this one of which we will see on all the news programs..

Then they put on Kochie’s Business Builders on and the show we all watch is the fabulous English Version of the Chase….

We can’t watch it on 7 plus so we loose out..! Thanks Channel 7

Australia needs a change from Natalie Barr and David Koch and we can’t get away from them… they have had their day…!

It astounds me is why you would schedule Kochie’s business builders to that demographic at that time of the day…

Channel 7 is out of touch with their viewing public !

Seven West Media / Channel 7 Advertisement - Road Safety Commission

Dear Channel Seven

I would like to complain in the strongest possible terms about an advertisement on Channel 7 recently for the Road Safety Commission and authorised by the State Government, Perth.

In it, a disabled man explains how he lost his leg and the graphic footage of him and his amputated leg - including a close up of his severed bone and open flesh - is absolutely unacceptable at this time, or any time I believe on television.

What prompts a government to pursue such shocking footage at such a time?

I realise road safety as of the upmost importance, but nothing can excuse this disgusting footage.

I would like to make the strongest complaint possible against Channel 7 and the Road Safety Commission for the airing of this advertisement, please.

I await your reply in anticipation and fervently hope this ad will not be aired again.

Seven West Media / Channel 7 New show “Blow Up”

Hello,

I am writing to express concern over channel 7’s new show “Blow Up”. Balloons are a huge issue in our environment. The WWF Australia estimates that polyurethane balloons can take up to 450 years to decompose! The amount of waste created by this show is going to be astronomical and the impact on the environment is potentially massive. Not great thinking channel 7 in this era of environmental sustainability and protection!

Seven West Media / Channel 7 Sports coverage

I, and many of my friends are ropable that Channel 7 (who is so proud of their complete live coverage of football) have not always broadcast WA teams playing away games live both last season 2022 and now, this season 2023. For example, today 9th April 2023, Fremantle is playing Adelaide at Adelaide Oval and we, in Perth WA, get a delayed telecast of the game. Why? It's wrong! West Australians should get all, especially WA teams (Dockers and Eagles), games live! This is not good or fair coverage. Again, Channel 7 goes down another notch in our view.

Desired outcome: Full coverage of WA team games to be broadcasted live. Especially when they are out of state.

Seven West Media / Channel 7 subtitles

Hi,

I have been trying to watch the AFL this weekend and I am disappointed. I am hearing impaired and in 2 of the 3 games you have put the subtitles on top of the screen and I can not see the scores. This makes it VERY difficult to keep up with who is winning. Didnt matter so much with the Swans game as the Swans were so far in front. If it has happened in the Coolingwood game I would have turned it off, and kept up with it a different way. I am trying to watch the Gaiants play and it is also a semi-close game and again I can not see the scores. Reading the rating you need all the viewers you can get. You going to lose some doing this. Also, I sent a message on FB using messenger, why have a function that no one is reading?

Seven West Media / Channel 7 BBL Cricket coverage

Once again the coverage is interrupted by going to an ad, whenever possible.

And once again after the ad a ball has been bowled & a wicket is taken.

We miss it because you put an ad in at the drop of a hat.

It becomes frustrating that the job channel 7 has is to provide a broadcast of the cricket and instead you put in ads when it is obvious that there is not enough time to show the ad and come back live - if it is indeed "live".

How hard is it to know that with the play going on that a ball will be bowled well within 15 seconds, but no, lets go to an ad.

There is a need to try better, if you care,

Desired outcome: cut the number of ads, or be aware how much time there will eb before just slotting in another ad.

Seven West Media / Channel 7 Sports commentators' inability to speak English

'E should've went!' Jesus! How many more times is Damien Fleming going to continue to massacre the English languag?

The man is an ignoramus - no matter how much he may pretend to know about the game - which is questionable - he can barely talk about it. Like many of your commentators, he doesn't even know the past tense of so many common verbs came, did etc. Jesus! What's wrong with these people? And I believe it's your job to correct their inadequacies!

May I suggest you send all of your cricket commentary team to TAFE in the off- season to learn the basics of English grammar. Same goes for all yourother sportsx commentators.

Tim Lane must go from the coverage. He is cringeworthy, has no sense of occasion or timing. He constantly asks long winded questions to the knowledgeable commentators and just talks too much. His clueless rambling making mention of insignificant things is beyond a joke. Please make a move on this, cricket in this country is hanging by a thread given the clowns that are in charge at CA and muppets in commentary are driving more nails in the coffin

Where are the morals in Society that you usually present
