Priceline are ungodly thieves! I had made reservations recently on July 6th, 2024, through Priceline to travel from Pensacola, Florida, to Kalispell, Montana on August 14-18, 2024. But because of wrong information I had been provided by a music store about the event I wanted to attend, I needed to cancel my trip 36 hours later. I was able to get a full refund from United Airlines, American Airlines and Travelodge by Wyndham, but Priceline and Alamo refused to refund a single penny of the $635 they charged me for renting an economy car for 4-days. I trusted Priceline but they cheated me along with Alamo car rental. My reservations were made 5-weeks in advance. There is absolutely no reason for Priceline and Alamo to be that stubborn to refund a customer's money. The only reason is plain old ungodly greed. I contacted Priceline multiple times and kindly asked them to refund most of my money. The woman on the phone from Priceline lied to me, promising me a partial refund, but I never received it. I don't think she knew what she was doing. I could barely understand her because she could hardly speak English. I also spoke with a manager and she promised to contact Alamo about refunding my money. She promised that someone would get back to me within 10 days, but no one ever did. She lied too. These people are shady! I kindly told Priceline that I don't mind paying Alamo a reasonable penalty for cancelling within 48 hours, but Priceline and Alamo refused to cooperate. Priceline couldn't care less about ethics. They horribly mistreat people, financially taking advantage of their customers. BEWARE of Priceline, they are dirty thieves! Priceline and Alamo defrauded me out of $635. I will NEVER use Priceline or Alamo again!
Recommendation: RUN From This Place!

Unfortunately, I had been provided wrong information by a music store about the event I wanted to attend in Montana, so I needed to cancel my trip 36 hours later.
I contacted Priceline Customer Care [protected]) early on July 8th and kindly asked them to refund most of my money. The woman on the phone from Priceline lied to me, promising me a partial refund of $1,033.40 for the hotel and rent car, but then I actually only received $589.42. I called back the next day and asked to speak with a manager and asked why the girl I had spoken with, who had sent me a receipt showing I would receive $1,033.40 went back later and changed it to $589.42. I have the receipt promising me back $1,033.40, but Priceline went and did something completely different, only sending me $589.42. They owe me!
I should be getting back the entire $635 for the rent car cancellation, but I'd be content just to receive a partial refund. Priceline and Alamo refuse to cooperate. Alamo has totally ignored me. The manager at Priceline wouldn't explain to me on July 9th why I didn't get the $1,033.40, which I have a receipt the woman sent to me the day before. I never got that amount. I only receive $589.42. They're playing games at Priceline. They have mistreated me horribly.
On July 9th the manager at Priceline promised to contact Alamo about getting me a refund. She promised that someone would get back to me within 10 days, but no one ever did. I haven't heard anything from anyone. She lied too. I kindly told Priceline that I don't mind paying Alamo a reasonable penalty for cancelling within 48 hours, but Priceline and Alamo refused to cooperate. Priceline and Alamo defrauded me out of $635.
This is a complete outrage. You did everything right — made your reservations well in advance, and when things changed, you got refunds from the airlines and hotel without any hassle. But Priceline and Alamo? They’re sticking you with a $635 bill for a car rental you won’t even use. It’s pure greed.
You’ve been more than reasonable, even willing to pay a penalty for the cancellation, but they refuse to cooperate. The runaround you’ve gotten from their customer service, with broken promises and lies, is disgraceful. These companies need to be held accountable.
Take to social media and share your story. Tag Priceline and Alamo, and let the world know how they’re treating their customers. Demand your money back and don’t stop until they respond. You deserve better, and they need to feel the pressure. Stay strong and relentless. Don’t let them get away with this.
