Mccowan location scammer
I don't know is only this location or is all of their stores, every time I shop here l ended up paying more than I should cause of the price tag of the item is always cheaper than the cashier register,so I will always pay more than I should and sometimes by a lot. I caught them a few times but most of the time they scammed me so badly cause most of the times I was in a hurry and I didn't expect it happen so often! I am very very mad about this garbage place!
Exceptional Customer Service at Princess Auto: Thanks to Ethan, I Finally Got My Gorilla Cart!
So I bought dis cart made by Gorilla from Princess Auto (princessauto.com). It was 'sposed to come in three days but it didn't show up. Turns out dat delivery company, Purolator, lost it (ugh). So I called up Princess Auto and talked to dis dude Ethan. Let me tell ya, he was super helpful and had lots of PATIENCE. He called up Purolator and the delivery company for me and waited for a really long time while I gathered up all my credit card info (I was at work, ya know?). Then he re-ordered the cart for me, gave me an even bigger discount, and waived the shipping fee. And get dis, he even thanked ME for being patient and understanding when it was really the delivery agent's fault. Dat's some good customer service right there, folks. And just 12 hours later, I got a confirmation dat the new cart is on its way with a different delivery company. It was a nice change from the usual mess of deals wid customer service anytime you dealin' with a company nowadays. So big ups to Ethan at Princess Auto for making it all happen!
Poor Customer Service and Disappointing Quality Control at Princess Auto
I went all the way to Princess Auto in Ottawa to buy a 15 horsepower engine and a Comet torque converter. When I got back home, I discovered that the torque converter was partially assembled and some parts and hardware were missing. Bummer, eh? Since the store didn't have any more in stock, I called the West end store to see if they had any. The person who answered the phone told me there were three in stock, unopened, so I went there to exchange mine.
Unfortunately, when I arrived, all three of the converters had already been opened and were kinda greasy and dirty. One of them even had a used belt inside! Honestly, it felt like they had all been refunded by other unhappy customers. I got a refund for mine and told the Manager that I wasn't interested in the discounted converter she offered me - even if we could find enough parts between us to make a decent one.
Feeling frustrated, I called the head office to see if they could help me out. They promised me that a higher level team member would get back to me right away. But you know what? Nobody called me back! So, here I am, left with a bad taste in my mouth and no working torque converter.
All in all, I'm pretty disappointed with Princess Auto and the way they handled this whole situation. It feels like they don't really care about their customers. I hope they take this review seriously and work to improve their customer service in the future.
Disappointing customer service from Princess Auto leads to cancelled order without resolution
I went onto princessauto.com to buy a sale item and didn't get my confirmation email straight away. I eventually got one later on, but I was still worried that there might have been a problem with my order. So, I called up customer service to ask if everything was okay with my order. They told me that my order was fine and gave me my order number. However, the next day, I received a second email saying that there was a mistake and that the item I wanted was sold out. They went on to say that my order had been cancelled and that was it. They didn't try to fix the issue or do anything to rectify their mistake. I was pretty disappointed, to be honest. I called up customer service again, but they told me the same thing: no inventory, sorry. They didn't offer me an alternative item, didn't try to make it right, nothing. I mean, it's not like I was asking for the world, just another item at the sale price. It's really frustrating when companies don't care about their customers like that. I used to shop at Princess Auto, but after my experience, I won't be going back.
Princess Auto: Worth the Headache for Good Deals?
Let me tell you, Princess Auto might be a good place to buy stuff, but it's not worth the headache. They do this thing where they send you flyers, right? And they show all the stuff that's on sale, but when you actually try to buy it, they tell you that it's stuck in some warehouse somewhere. That's a real bummer, let me tell you. I ain't got time to wait for months just to buy something I can get somewhere else.
I really think that Princess Auto should take a good look at what's going on with their system. It doesn't look good when employees don't know what's going on, and the store can't even keep track of what they've got on hand. I mean, come on, get a grip! I'm tired of wasting my precious time and gas going to the store, only to find out that they don't even have what I want.
So, the bottom line is that if Princess Auto wants to keep customers like me, they better start getting their act together. I'm not gonna put up with this kind of chaos forever. The products might be good, but if I can't actually buy them, then it doesn't matter. Princess Auto needs to take a good hard look in the mirror and figure out how to fix all their logistical issues before they lose customers for good.
Princess Auto: Poor Customer Service and Lack of Product Knowledge
You know, when you go to Princess Auto, it can be really frustrating dealing with some of the employees. They don't seem to know anything about the products they sell and are always on their phones or hiding in the back aisles. It takes forever just to get an answer to a simple question. They'll say stuff like "I dunno" or "Not sure" or "Did you ask the front?". It's like they're useless entitled millennials who are just there to collect a paycheck.
Honestly, it's like they don't care about customer service at all. I mean, back in the day, people used to take pride in their work and actually know a thing or two about what they were selling. But these days, it seems like you don't need to know anything to get a job - as long as you can show up on time and breathe, you're hired.
And don't even get me started on the whole "triggering" thing. It's like you have to be super careful not to offend anyone or hurt their delicate feelings. God forbid you ask someone for help and they get upset because you didn't use their proper pronouns.
I really do think we need more automation in stores like Princess Auto. It's just not worth dealing with these people. The robots would probably be more helpful anyway. Plus, it would free up some of the space that these big-box stores take up. I mean, let's face it, the world is getting pretty crowded, and we could use all the extra space we can get.
All in all, I think Princess Auto needs to step up their game if they want to survive in this highly competitive retail landscape. They need to start hiring people who actually know what they're doing, and they need to focus on providing excellent customer service. Until then, I'll be shopping elsewhere.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience at Princess Auto Calgary North Location
Hey there folks, Princess Auto has to be one of my all time favorite stores, but I recently had a bit of an issue at the Calgary North location. I had a gift card that I wanted to use to purchase some sweet tools and gear, but the staff there seemed to have a bit of trouble processing the gift card properly. They ended up charging my credit card twice and insisted that I call my credit card company to sort it out.
After spending an hour on hold and getting in touch with Mastercard, I went back to the store to try and get it sorted out. However, the staff seemed to be pretty uncooperative and unwilling to admit their mistake. Even with two receipts in front of them showing the double charge, they still insisted that there was only one charge and told me to have Mastercard charge it back.
I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the customer service at this particular location. It seems like they could care less about ripping off their customers and don't really care about keeping their customers happy. I mean, come on folks, is it really too much to ask for an apology or some attempt at customer retention?
Overall, I still love Princess Auto and will continue to shop there, but I really hope this location steps up their game when it comes to customer service.
Terrible Customer Service at Princess Auto: Rude Staff and Disappointing Experience
I gotta say, my experience with Princess Auto was not a great one. I mean, I wouldn't even give them a star rating if I could. I went to their store to buy something and all I got was a bunch of rude floor people. They acted like they were too good to help me out. Every time I tried to ask for help, they would snap at me with a harsh voice and tell me to wait because they were dealing with another customer. They were like a bunch of grumpy old men who didn't get their morning coffee. It's like, come on people, you're getting paid to help customers, why act like it's such a big deal?
And don't even get me started on when I called their other locations to see if they had what I was looking for. They just gave me the number to another location and told me to call myself. Like, what kind of customer service is that? And when I did call, it was a disaster. First, one person said they would check to see if they had it and then disappeared. Then another person picked up the phone and started looking for it, saying they would call me back, but they never did. And then a third person came on the phone and I just gave up. It was a complete waste of my time.
Honestly, I don't think I'll ever shop at Princess Auto again. Their customer service is just terrible. If they want to keep customers coming back, they need to step up their game and treat people with respect. That's just basic human decency.
Mixed experience at Princess Auto in Langford, but a standout store manager saved the day
My hubby dropped by the Princess Auto store in Langford today. He spent an hour there looking for a product he needed for his project. Unfortunately, the three employees he talked to weren't helpful at all. The first one said the store had it, the second one said they didn't, and the third one suggested ordering online. What confusion!
Speaking of online ordering, I tried it before and it wasn't a smooth experience. Their website is a bit tricky to navigate. I searched for the product my husband needed and the site said that the store didn't have it. I wondered if their warehouse lists everything, but I couldn't figure out how to search for it.
That's why I reluctantly dialed their 1-800 customer service number. Good thing I have a lot of patience, because their automated message kept repeating how easy it is to order from the website. Ha! Easy for them to say.
Even submitting a review about our experience on their website seemed impossible. It looks like the system was unable to process it. Geez.
Anyhow, let's get back to what happened next. As expected, we were disappointed with the store and didn't want to go back there again. But I decided to take a chance and call the store manager, Terry Ziebart. Boy, did she make a big difference!
Not only was she friendly and professional, but she was also helpful. She offered to order the product for me from another store and have it picked up at her store. It was so easy, I couldn't believe it. Thanks, Terry! You saved the day.
Overall, I must say that our experience with Princess Auto in Langford wasn't great. But thanks to Terry's wonderful service, we might just give them another chance.
Disappointing Experience with Princess Auto: Missing Inventory and Unhelpful Staff
I gotta say, I had a really bad experience with Princess Auto. I was lookin' fer a Genesis 20 v Sawzall 149.99 SKU *** at their Sudbury location on Lasalle. The website said they had three in stock, so I drove three hours all the way from Sault Ste Marie to get one. But when I got there, I couldn't find any in stock. I spent an hour talkin' to the manager Phil and three employees, but still couldn't find the darn thing. And get this - Phil reckons they were probably stolen! Three Sawzalls just gone like that! And there ain't no security measure at the doors neither. I'm pretty cheesed off about it all - I wasted six hours on this dang trip, and didn't even get what I was after.
The first couple employees I talked to were real smart-mouthed. They wouldn't give me their names when I asked so I could file a report. They said it was "none of my business." Can you believe that? Luckily this Zack guy came over and he was real nice and helpful. He actually gave me his name when I asked. Why couldn't the first two have been as helpful as him?
I'm gonna file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, Consumer and Affairs, and Google Reviews. I don't know what Princess Auto is gonna do to make it right, but they sure better do something. This kind of thing shouldn't happen to customers who drive all the way out there.
Princess Auto: Misleading Product Images and Missing Parts - A Dangerous Purchase?
Ordered a sawmill extension online from Princess Auto, and when I finally received it after 2 or 3 weeks, I was disappointed to find that the log post and log clamp that were supposed to be included were missing. I immediately contacted their Customer Service to inquire about the missing parts, and they told me that the picture on their website was incorrect. After some back-and-forth, they offered to refund me $200, pending approval from their manager.
However, the next day when I got a call back, I was told that the manager had denied the refund, claiming that the parts were not necessary. As someone who has used a sawmill before, I know that a track without a log clamp and post is completely useless and extremely dangerous. The manager clearly had no idea what he was talking about and was putting people's safety at risk. I did my own research and discovered that the picture they were using on their website was actually taken from another company's website, Woodlandmills.com. Woodlandmills extension track comes with the parts that Princess Auto advertised but didn't actually include in their package. I had to request a return and am in the process now, and I even contacted Woodlandmills to let them know that Princess Auto was using their product images unfairly.
I also had another order for a tire inflater/pressure gauge that was different than what was advertised. It seems to be a common theme with Princess Auto's website – lots of items are misrepresented or missing key components. I would highly recommend against ordering anything from them unless you have a chance to inspect it in-person first. If you compare the two photos attached, you can clearly see the theft of Woodlandmill's clamp design.
Overall, I found my experience with Princess Auto to be extremely disappointing. It's clear that they need to improve their website and pay more attention to the accuracy of their product descriptions and images. It's not worth the risk of buying anything from them without verifying the product yourself, as they clearly cannot be trusted to provide an accurate description. Be careful with Princess Auto!

Unreliable Online Shopping Experience: My Frustrating Experience with Princess Auto
So, I did a bit of online shopping at Princess Auto and submitted an order. I got a confirmation message that my order went through, but I never got an email about it. So, I called up their Customer Service to ask what was up with that. The agent who helped me out was pretty friendly and chatty, but they told me that my order wasn't even in their system. Uh, what?
Anyway, this agent processed my order for me and gave me a confirmation number. But guess what? Yep, still no email confirmation about my order. So, what's the deal here? Their online process seems pretty glitchy and unreliable to me.
I gotta say, this whole experience wasn't great and I'm not sure I'll be shopping with Princess Auto again. It's a shame, because I was looking forward to checking out their stuff. But if this is the kind of service they're offering to online customers, I'll take my business elsewhere.
Cool Tools at Decent Prices, but Tracking Can Be Frustrating: A Review of Princess Auto
Princess Auto is one of those online stores where you gotta be pretty patient to get your stuff. Sometimes they tell you it's gonna take up to 3 weeks to ship your order, while other stores get it done in just a few days. But hey, if you got the time to wait, Princess Auto's got some pretty cool stuff.
One thing that's kinda annoying though is that they don't always give you a tracking number. Like, if you go to the store directly to ask, they just give you some phone number you can never get ahold of to check on your stuff. And even if you get an email saying you can track your order, they don't actually give you the tracking number, which is kinda dumb in my opinion. And if you try to email them about it, they never answer, no matter how many times you try.
But other than that, I gotta say, Princess Auto's got a cool selection of tools and stuff at pretty decent prices. If you're not in a rush and can handle a little frustration, it's worth checking out. Just don't expect them to be too helpful when it comes to tracking your order.
Beware of Price Errors at Princess Auto - Inconvenience for Shoppers
I gotta tell ya, I been shoppin' at Princess Auto for a while now, but I gotta say their price correction is not what it used to be. A dude can't trust what's on the shelf no more, 'cause sometimes it don't match what's on the price tag. It ain't right, man. Like just the other day, I was checkin' out this Hyundai plug and the tag said 6.99 bucks. So, I went up to the clerk and asked if it was on sale for any cheaper, right? But she looked it up and it turned out to be 9.99! What the heck, man!? I told her that the price was wrong, but she didn't do nothin'. No apology or nothin'. And that ain't the first time, dude. I've come across at least four items with messed up prices.
Listen, I ain't saying don't shop at Princess Auto, but you gotta be careful and check the price before you buy, ya know? It ain't like Costco, where if the price is screwed up, they'll give you a discount and a big ol' sorry. Princess Auto needs to step up their game, man. I gotta say, I don't see no manager lifting a finger to make things right. It's a real shame, 'cause I used to like shoppin' there. But now, I gotta wonder if it's worth the hassle.

Don't Waste Your Money: A Disappointing Experience with Compressor from Princess Auto
I gots myself a Compressor from Princess Auto bout 14 months ago. I was usin' it like 3, maybe 4 times a month, you know, just doin' some work in ma little shop. But one mornin' I comes in and the dang motor was makin' this weird noise, like it done broke or somethin' and it was hot, hotter than the devil's armpit, I tell ya. And I'm thinkin', what good is a compressor if it stops workin' after such a short time? My ol' compressor, that thang lasted me 26 years. But this one here, my grandson had the same issue with his, and his was only 12 months and two weeks old. I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend none of them compressors from Princess Auto, they all garbage. Don't waste your money, y'all.
False Advertisement and Poor Customer Service at Princess Auto
So, recently i tried to buy a product from Princess Auto website. They showed me that the product was available, but after i visited their store, the staff couldn't locate it in their inventory. And then, i had to travel a long distance to another store which was miles away from my place. At last, I found the desired product but unfortunately it was totally different from what was described on their website. The features advertised were not accurate and also some accessories that were supposed to come with it were missing.
When i asked for an explanation from their Customer Service, they simply ignored me and didn't bother to provide me a solution. It seems that false advertisement is intentional on their website, which is very disappointing and frustrating at the same time. Princess Auto must be more responsible and provide the correct details and information about the products they are selling. This kind of bad experience can ruin a customer's overall satisfaction and confidence in their brand.
Disappointing Curbside Pickup Experience at Princess Auto for Trailer Taillights
I just got this trailer taillights set from Princess Auto online store and I was pretty excited to pick it up in-store. They sent me an email the day after with the word that my order was already good to go! So, I headed down to the store and then what happened was pretty frustrating. The parking lot had numbered spaces, maybe to help with curbside pickup? They had told me to park in one of these numbers, and then I had to call them up to tell them I was here. They sent me a text message link to click on so maybe they could track my location (I'm not sure) but there were already at least four or five cars in the lot and nobody was moving anywhere.
I asked around some of the employees, but they didn't seem to have any information about my order at all. I waited and waited and it felt like an eternity before I finally got my package. When I did get the package, it was already 50 minutes since I arrived, which was definitely not a good experience for me.
I really hoped they could improve their curbside pickup service especially in terms of coordinating orders and tracking their customers. It was a mess and inefficient.
Overall, I was disappointed by the disorganized operation of the store on curbside pickup, and while the taillights were fantastic, the store's efforts to get them to me were subpar.
Disappointing Online Order Experience with Princess Auto: Lack of Updates and Customer Service
I've gotta say, Princess Auto really dropped the ball with my recent online order. I placed it way back on April 8, and here we are on April 17 with no updates to speak of. Like, come on guys, it's been over a week! I even tried emailing their customer service, but nobody ever got back to me. I had to call them twice just to get some excuse-ridden responses from some really nice customer service reps who couldn't actually provide any real help.
Now, don't get me wrong, I get that things are pretty bonkers right now what with the whole COVID-19 pandemic going on. But honestly, seven business days and nothing? I've ordered from their competitors before, and they always manage to get my stuff to me within a few days, no problem. But not Princess Auto. Nope, they apparently like to take their sweet time with things.
All in all, I'm not exactly thrilled with Princess Auto's service (or lack thereof). It's frustrating enough to wait so long for an order, but then to not even get any updates or responses from customer service? That's just ridiculous.
Disappointing Experience with Princess Auto: AC Unit Out of Stock and No Communication
So I was really bummed out when I ordered an AC unit from Princess Auto on July 10, 2020. I was super-excited to cool down my room so I checked the site every day to see if there was an update. Unfortunately, the only thing I saw was "Not Shipped". I waited and waited and 17 days later, on July 27, I finally got an email saying that the AC unit wasn't even in stock! Can you believe it?
I had sent them an email through their website on July 22 to ask what was going on, but I never heard back. I even mentioned that I would be happy to switch to another AC unit that they were advertising in their new flyer. But still, no reply. So frustrating!
Then I decided to call their customer service line to see what was up. And finally, after being on hold for what felt like forever, I reached someone who told me that there was nothing they could do. And to make matters worse, they said that they wouldn't even have any more AC units in stock for the rest of the year! *facepalm*
Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Princess Auto. I mean, I get that things can be out of stock, but it would have been nice if they had let me know sooner so I could have made other plans. And not getting a response to my email? Come on, Princess Auto! You can do better than that!
Terrible Customer Service Experience with Princess Auto Website: A Review from Calgary
So, we thought it would be a good idea to give a try to this Princess Auto website, who says that they sell all kinds of stuff. We were eager to receive our products, but that didn't go well. We had to wait for more than three weeks without hearing anything from them until they finally cancelled our order. That's frustrating, you know? But the most annoying thing was that they didn't even tell us about it; we found out just by checking our order status on the website.
We couldn't let that go, so we sent them an email with our frustration, and guess what? They didn't even bother to reply. We even called them, and the people who answered the phone didn't seem to know much about what's going on. They couldn't even explain to us why our order was cancelled after four weeks of waiting, while they promised us to get it in five days.
We do not want to deal with PrincessAuto.com ever again. They wasted our time and caused nothing but headaches. Perhaps they should focus on figuring out how to provide better customer service instead of trying to sell more stuff. We'd recommend shopping elsewhere.
By the way, we are from Calgary, Alberta.
Disappointed with Princess Auto's online delivery and shipping practices
I done ordered me some stuff from Princess Auto online, four items total, two of ‘em being just little additions, the other two being the real deal. But when I got my delivery, they only sent those little things and still charged me shipping for the whole dang order! Three gosh-darn days later, I get an email from them saying they messed up and had to cancel one or more of the things on my order. Well, I don’t appreciate that none, but at least they done reimbursed me for the cancelled items. The thing is, them little add-ons plus the shipping fee cost more than if I went down to the local store and bought them myself! So now I reckon I’m gonna return those itty-bitty things and see if I can’t get me a refund on that dang shipping fee too. Ain’t no need to be overcharging hardworking folks.
