Princeton Management ain't all that great
Princeton Management ain't all that great. The manager, Coppertree, is a real piece of work. He's super rude and doesn't care about his job. I've been waiting for him to call me back for four whole days now, and I even called him twice. What a lazy bum! If you don't wanna do your job, then just quit and let someone else who actually wants to work take over.
so I gotta say, this Princeton Management company ain't exactly the most helpful when it comes to getting in touch with 'em
so I gotta say, this Princeton Management company ain't exactly the most helpful when it comes to getting in touch with 'em. Like, they don't even have a phone number or address listed, which seems kinda sketchy to me. And to top it off, I've been waiting for my security deposit for months now. My renters insurance sent 'em a check back in March, and they were supposed to give me my deposit back once they got their money. But here we are in May and I'm still getting the runaround, with 'em telling me it'll be another 30 days before I see my cash. Not cool, Princeton Management, not cool.
I moved into Princeton Management's apartment in May
I moved into Princeton Management's apartment in May. I gave them a 30-day notice that I would be moving out and not renewing my lease. I cleaned the apartment and went to the office. Now they're telling me I have to pay rent for June or I'll be breaking the lease. I don't understand how that's possible when the lease is up for renewal on May 1st. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
So, my boy and his college buds put in an app at Princeton Management for 40 bucks each
So, my boy and his college buds put in an app at Princeton Management for 40 bucks each. I had to do one too 'cause they said the track team don't count, so that's another 40. These guys messed up and ran the wrong social on the background check and said no. Even when they owned up to it, they wouldn't give back the 200 bucks we paid for the apps. They told me to call some big shot "***" but he won't pick up or call back! They say he don't have a boss and won't let me talk to nobody else in charge. Watch out for this 40 dollar app hustle, y'all!
I stayed at Clipper Ridge for more than a year during COVID
I stayed at Clipper Ridge for more than a year during COVID. When I moved in, I noticed that the cupboards and drawers were slanted, and the drawer was broken. I couldn't use them. My dishwasher never worked properly. The carpet was stained and messed up, and it squealed loudly when I walked on it. Some of my blinds were missing, and there were no screens on the windows. I was promised that these issues would be fixed, but they never were. Now that I have moved out, I am being charged for a double clean on my apartment, even though it wasn't dirty. The carpets are being replaced, which they should have done from the beginning. The amount they are charging me is insane. They are even charging me for blinds that I never had! This is crazy. I am going to file a complaint and fight against all the charges that are not legitimate.
I live in MALLORD COVE and PRINCETON MANAGEMENT don't give a hoot about us tenants
I live in MALLORD COVE and PRINCETON MANAGEMENT don't give a hoot about us tenants. Some apartments have leaky roofs, but they'd rather spend money cutting down trees and fixing gutters and poles. They were supposed to install new security doors, but they only did one building. When I asked about the rest, the lady at corporate said they're out of cash and won't be replacing them. Every time they say they'll fix something, they raise our rent. They need to be checked out to see what's going on. All the buildings need new security doors, but they only did one. They should've fixed the roof before wasting money on trees. Someone needs to come out and talk to us tenants about this management company.
I had a bad experience with Princeton Management
I had a bad experience with Princeton Management. They take forever to cash checks, so don't pay with one. The buildings are old and outdated, and our dishwasher hasn't worked since we moved in. Our closet door broke and they said it was too expensive to fix. The carpet guy they use does a terrible job, and the flooring in the kitchen and bathroom is cheap. When I tried to contact corporate, they just passed me back to the apartment office and gave excuses. I regret referring friends to live here, it's not worth the money. Maybe someone at corporate could care about the tenants instead of just money.
Princeton Management is the only company that controls the heat
Princeton Management is the only company that controls the heat. We should be able to turn our heat on when we feel we need it. It's not fair that you all do not think about the tenants. If you did, you would do better in meeting their needs. We shouldn't have to turn on our stove to warm up the apartment. You all sit in your big offices and just make decisions on what you think needs to be done. When will you come out and talk to the people that live here? Come out and see and hear what we need. I used to love living here until Princeton Management Company took over the complex. Things that need to be fixed were broken before the pandemic. Just like today, it's cold and I can't turn on my heat. Have you given it any thoughts that people, kids, and babies, and older people might be cold and need some heat? I wish I could afford to move. I would. This place just went downhill. These are the worst-looking apartments in Portage.
I moved for work and needed an apartment
I moved for work and needed an apartment. I found Eastdale Apartments (managed by PM) in Montgomery, AL. They said an apartment was ready for move in so I started the process. Paid my application fee. Paid the deposit (overnighted money order). At close of business the day before I was set to arrive I was informed that I needed to provide another month's rent on top of the deposit for move in. I show up and request to see the apartment before proceeding with any paperwork. The apartment had a stale stench to it, the kitchen sink was tarnished (green/brown) with ashes and debris in it, the bathroom sink and toilet were filthy. The most alarming part was the main living area. The floor is drooping. Not just a little. It was like taking the last step off the stairs when you think you've already hit the ground floor. The state of that apartment makes me wonder what type of condition in which all the other tenants live. To make things worse I was told my deposit would be returned in 10-14 days. That deadline has passed and still nothing. It took them less than three days to get the deposit from their office to "corporate" but more than three weeks to refund it. Don't do business with these people.
I been living here for a year and I hate it here
I been living here for a year and I hate it here. My heat went out in the beginning of the year and it took a whole month before they even came and looked at it. I had to heat my apartment up using my stove. Then my refrigerator went out. They didn't come out for that til about 2 weeks later. Just last month my hot water in my tub would not turn off and I literally called them for a month straight telling them to come fix it. I even had my dad come to try and fix it and he couldn't because that is not his job. That caused my gas bill to go up from $28 to $123. Now my air is not working. It just went out in the middle of the night about a week ago and I have been asking someone to come and fix it. Someone came and claimed he fixed it but he did not. My air is still not working so I called back into the office. Was told that someone was out looking for a part to come fix my air. But I went into the office to get corporate # and the maintenance me were sitting in there on their phones. And the # I was given for corporate does not work at all. It is the middle of the summer. I should not be pestering yall to fix my air. And they have the nerve to have an attitude because they not doing their job. Would not recommend moving here to no one.
I ain't spending a dime on Princeton Management!
I ain't spending a dime on Princeton Management! I regret signing my lease way back in 2020. When I moved in, the apartment wasn't even ready. The guy just took my money and lied to me. And guess what? My apartment was infested with live roaches. They were everywhere, even in my fridge! I had to use boric acid to get rid of them. And the cabinets were not even painted. The whole place was full of dead roaches and spiderwebs. I got bitten by spiders in my bedroom, and it was terrible. I had to paint the cabinets myself, but when someone finally came to paint them, they just painted over the dead roaches. And don't even get me started on the broken stove and dishwasher. The maintenance guys were creepy, especially the second group. They used to drive by my apartment and ask if I had gone to work. What's up with that? And when I had a major leak in my bedroom, the manager told me it wasn't mold. They just spray-painted over it, and now the leak is back. And get this: there's no insulation in most of the 2nd floor apartments! I wish I never paid for this place. All I want is for them to fix these issues.
Princeton Management Complaints 5
Apartment building negligence
I moved into River Place Apartments July 2023. Building 500 on the 4th floor. Upon moving in there was a bad leak from the ceiling in the common hallway. I called the leasing office and they apologized. The hole was covered with ceiling tile. A month later, August 2023, there was a leak in the same hole from the ceiling. I placed a work order and it wa...
Read full review of Princeton ManagementThis company is a total scam!
This company is a total scam! It's been like 4 months and they still haven't done anything to fix my place. Don't even think about renting from them! And if you do, be prepared to fight tooth and nail to get your deposit back. I work at the office and let me tell you, *** is a total slacker. She just sits around all day doing nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if she's eating the deposits!
I rented from Princeton Management last year
I rented from Princeton Management last year. I had some issues with a tenant and they let me out of my lease without any penalties. I moved out on December 31, but I still haven't gotten my deposit or the rent that I paid in advance. I talked to the assistant manager and they said they sent a check, but I haven't gotten it yet. They said they could send another one, but they would charge me a fee. I don't think I should have to pay a fee if they didn't even send the first check. I want them to send a new check without any fees taken out. My old apartment was really nice, it was on ***. Oh, and I want them to give me a tracking number when they send the new check. They should send it to my new address, which is ***.

I gotta say, Fox Run Apartments in ND got some serious issues with their management
I gotta say, Fox Run Apartments in ND got some serious issues with their management. They ain't helpful at all and they talk to you like you're dirt. My buddies who lived there before me had the same problem. I had some pricey packages delivered to my pad and they straight up disappeared. I asked the management if they could check the cameras to see who took them, but they wouldn't give me or the cops any info. I even tried to file a report, but they didn't wanna do nothing. They should be looking out for us and our stuff, especially since we're paying them a lot of dough. It's their job to make us feel safe, but they ain't doing it.
I got a problem with my neighbor, tenant #***, since I moved in
I got a problem with my neighbor, tenant #***, since I moved in. They play their radio too loud, even at night, and I can hear their phone conversations in every room of my apartment. Plus, the smell of their drugs comes in strong. I told management many times, but nothing changes. I don't feel comfortable living here anymore, and I don't have the "quiet enjoyment" promised in my lease. It's a clear breach of contract, and I want to be released from my lease without penalty and get my money back ASAP. The drug smoke and harassment from tenant #*** is unacceptable. They only stop when management talks to them, but they start again soon after. I asked management to release me, but they won't respond. Can someone do the right thing and let me out of my lease with a full refund and 30 days to move? I live at ***.
