Accident/hit and run
On the 14th of March 2023 at around 16h05. I was stationery at the robot on rivonia Road near the intersection to take the highway. I was in the left lane. A putco bus came from the island part of the road and cut in front of me. He damaged the front left of my car and just drove off. I drove after him and stopped at the bus stop to confront him. He denied bumping my car and proceeded to drive away. I was able to get the registration number of this careless driver.
Desired outcome: I would like some accountability for what has happened. Putco must pay towards the repair of my vehicle.
Tap and go tags
Good day the 31st of Jan I loaded 10 trips which i started using later that day bt it said some error message,since then I didn't go to work due to personal problems bt today the 6tg of Feb board a bus to Sandton to my surprise it says invalid trips.The helpline number that u claim it works it's unanswered the whole day as I cannot make time to the depo meaning I have to pay cash for my trips which is not fair at all.Why introduce something that u can't initiate to help us when we encounter problems

Poor service experienced
I would like to report Innocent Ndlovu, who drives your first shift for Randburg 8714. I was embarrassed and also feel threatened. This is a formal complaint and I expect it to be treated as such.
Your driver was extremely rude with me yesterday. I know he is friends with every manager at Putco & I would regret having this complaint joked about amongst seniors and employees. So please address this matter with a serious manner. I'm a paying customer & I'm never rude to him. My tag had some error. He claimed that I don't have trips. I then explained that I tagged this morning with no issues experienced, I showed him my trip balance from the morning which was 7 trips. I even showed him my slip for loading my tag. He said I should pay cash or he will force me to exit his bus. I refused, he said that I cannot tell him how to do his job then went on to threaten me which made me extremely uncomfortable. I listened to every request and cooperated with him but he was still rude threatening to kick me out of 'his bus'. I as a passenger I feel that I should be treated with respect since I do pay for a service from Putco. I expect that this matter gets taken very seriously or if nothing is done about it I will take further steps ensuring that something is done about this matter because if I'm getting treated this way, how many other passengers are experiencing the same type of service from your driver.
Kindly do provide me with feedback as soon as possible since I was threatened by your driver Innocent Ndlovu, I don't know what to expect.
Dangerous Driving
On 05 December 2022, driver of Putco Bus G5938, vehicle registration YCT241GP, drove and overtook traffic in the yellow lane, on Main Road, Bryanston on or about 8:25 AM.
Due to the narrowing of the yellow lane the driver made no attempt to slowdown or indicate that he will be coming into my lane (left hand lane). Driver did not even bother to look in his rear view mirror, forcing me into the right hand lane where there passing vehicles.
The driver also had earphones in both his ears and busy typing on his mobile while transporting a large number of innocent passengers.
Putco buses are getting worse than the actual taxis on our roads.
Desired outcome: The proper disciplinary action to be taken with the driver responsible who not endangered himself but also his passengers and fellow drivers on the road.

Hi it's Ntombi Ndebele one of the putco passengers I'm diepkloof we are struggling about busses some busses passes by full and some don't come at all for at 6 weeks we've been struggling but we pay full prices not satisfied about the services or is putco taking advantage cause there is no competition in the busses industry?
If only we get a bus from Bara not from other places cos they are extra full no spaces for as advice please

Extremely disrespectful driver.
I have never had any problems with Putco's drivers for the last ten years. Ebony and Ivory your driver Teboho who drives the Eldorado Park to Town bus at 7 o'clock in the morning has a really really bad attitude he's extremely rude and disrespectful. He has berated me in front of passengers and has no respect whatsoever. I have just know spoken to a inspector as well about this unprofessional driver.
Desired outcome: He needs to understand that you don't and cannot disrespect Putco's passengers

I am so disappointed that putco still employed bus drivers that only stop to pick up people they only know... We r all paying customers... I am waiting a a bus stop now in sunninghill since 4:05pm coz the driver slowed down and left maybe coz he doesn't know me... But my tag was up... And while you look at that... We need more busses to sunninghill

This was reported to your head office in Linbo Park and it stopped for a while.

I am not happy about the service I receive from Putco drivers as a client.
Their client service is very poor.
May they be trained as to how to treat a client.
In order for Putco to function, clients/ commuters are needed May we be

I was at the bustop from 15:35 now 16:36 and I am still at the bustop in Sandton waiting for the bus to Dobsinville.
Not very pleased with the service offered by 9230 bus driver too arrogant.

Hired bus for my grandmother's funeral service
On Saturday it was my grandmother's funeral.
We hired a bus to leave 06:00 from Diepkloof to come to Ga-Rankuwa
The receipt clearly states the departure time, departure point and all other required details.
In this cold weather - this was my grandmother's funeral, most of the mourners were elderly - but people waited for a bus to arrive at 6am. By 7am the bus hadn't arrived. Eventually we called and after being sent from pillar to post, we were told to call the driver - I would have expected that we paid for the service, we shouldn't be doing the running around as the funeral service was starting here in Ga-Rankuwa at that time. We called the driver - he left the depot and drove straight to Ga-Rankuwa, despite the bus being empty as he didn't start at the pick-up point. Instead of rectifying the situation, they said "the driver will drive back to Diepkloof". Issue is, at 7:30 he's in Pretoria, (+/-70km away) and he has to drive back (took him 1.5 hours to get to Pretoria) and come back and only pick up people then? After much objection, another bus was dispatched, which only left Diepkloof after 8:30; by when the service had long started.
The mourners, my grandmother's neighbours for over 3 decades, arrived after 11; by then the service had already proceeded to the graveyard. They did not see where their friend/neighbour/community elder had been laid to rest. Most of the others turned back; and didn't come to Ga-Rankuwa; understandable given that they knew the funeral service would be long over when they arrived - and it was.
Just to also add; my grandmother was 83; the average age of the mourners/passengers was over 70. This was Saturday 25 June 6am - a day which started started with light showers.
Desired outcome: Please provide a full refund as the service required was not provided for, at all. Bringing mourners 4 hours late to a funeral service is not right.Also - they won't get a re-do, the R 4 361 we paid in full was not used

Lack of buses
I'm a young lady who uses a bus to and from work, even though I have an alternative transport and prefer using a putco bus which is very convenient for me to use. I usually knock off at 17:00 & get to the bus stop after 10-min, the diets bus comes exactly of about 17:15 or earlier if it happens I didn't get the bus I'll have to wait another 20-30 minutes for the second bus (9197). The bus is usually full and goes past my stop or don't show up at all sometimes it happens that I'm all alone at the stop and it's dark during winter and not safe for me. The 3rd bus comes at 18:15-18:20 (9244). It is really not safe for me to wait that long alone in the dark and hope Putco intervene.
Desired outcome: If it's possible for the 1st bus to change it's departing time to 17:20.

Bus driver refusing to go to zone 9 meadowlands
Hi, I would like to lay a formal complaint about putco driver that refuses to go in meadowlands zone 9 and goes straight to dobsonville it’s been 2 weeks I’m pregnant and have to constantly get of and wait for at least an hour for another bus which at times goes past me because I haven’t been laying complaints about that driver.

From last week 26/05/2022 Thursday we have been struggling with busses from Eldo's and Klipspruit-west, We had to stand in the cold 05:30 to 06:30 that's when the first bus came normally that's the time i get to work, getting to work late since Thursday last week 26/05/2022. This morning the bus came in time but we struck in Strijdom park again we had to wait in the cold for a Soweto to bus to pick us up . We pay far more then Soweto passenger R272 yet we the the ones that struggles more then Soweto passengers. This services at Putco is putrid you will loose business.

9410 driver from Kliptown to Sunninghill
It is very concerning the guy just doesn’t come, yesterday he took a different route leaving a lot of people at bus stops, afternoon he never came, today again it does look like he is not coming. A lot of people have now received warnings due to this guy’s behaviour can we please have a driver who is serious about work
We always buy tickets till they expire he just never comes, he either comes twice a week or if he does come, comes very late. Is there a point of us buying tickets when we always have to end up taking taxis again

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the driver of the bus 9420, from Protea Glen to Sunninghill in the morning.
The driver had a altercation with one of the passengers and instead of them resolving the issue the driver just stopped the bus for approximately 15 minutes which lead to a lof of the passengers being late for no reason.
Please attend to this as our jobs were put at risk for no good reason.

My name is Mamosa,my complain about the driver is that he passes people at the bus stop,on Tuesday I was innocently reminding her not to forget that the are people at Bryanston,he stopped the bus in the middle of the road and ask me if I want to drive nd I explained to him that not that I want to drive but only to remind you that there are people on that bus stop then he started swearing at me saying that I must voetsek,[censored] off and called me a [censored] and he will kick me.I asked him what is it that I wrongly said for him to insult me in that way nd he repeatedly said [censored] off to me.I laid the complain at Putcoton but I'm not happy with the way they handled this issue cause I'm not the only woman he insulted nd not only women but he is swearing to most of the people for asking him why did he pass them from the bus stop while they having their tags stopping the bus.
Unacceptable service/attitude.
Bus number B2303 RTE0052 TRP1550. This incident happened on the 11th April 2022 in the afternoon. The driver refused to drop me off where I normally drove off. What disgust me is his attitude he has towards he’s passengers. I have been with Putco for a very long time and spent my hard earned money to be treated like this and I am planning to escalate this matter further if you this matter is not handled as soon as possible.
