And let me tell ya, I scoured that website, even the so-called "manufacture website" (which, by the way, conveniently has the same darn email as PWOnly), and found nothin'. I emailed 'em, not realizin' they were the same folks, and guess what? Zero response! That's right, folks, they left me hangin'. Talk 'bout foreshadowin', huh? Keep readin', it gets worse.
Now, here's where things really went south. What I ordered was NOT what I saw in the website picture. Two parts were missin' or looked completely different when it arrived. I didn't pay much mind to it at first, but then all this nonsense started, and I started payin' attention. Specifically, the choke cable attachment and the throttle cable. The picture showed that it came with the throttle cable tube or guide, and that it had the setup to use the existin' choke cable or maybe even an aftermarket one. But nope, none of that was included. And get this, the "directions" on the website for installin' this carburetor were all 'bout takin' off the old "handlebars" from your old carb and modifyin' the new bolt on carb. Can ya believe that? They expect you to alter your brand spankin' new carburetor! But wait, there's more! That's all the support and specs they give ya. Just some mumbo jumbo 'bout hittin' old parts onto your new parts, and then they have the audacity to say, and I quote, "don't mess up, you only have 2." I mean, seriously? That choke cable is a major, major issue, let me tell ya. The plunger style they give ya works, but 'cause of the location and the fact that you can't use a cable you can grab, twist, and lift without unboltin' the seat or rear fender, it's a real pain in the you-know-what. The picture on the website shows this nice, neat new tube where your cable is supposed to be mounted, but guess what? It ain't there!
And here's the final kick in the pants, folks. The website tries to deceive ya with the quantity and little add-ons for this item. It straight up says, and I quote again, "this kit requires an oil pump plug." Well, let me tell ya, it don't! Not one bit! This carburetor ain't meant to be used with a FUNCTIONIN' oil pump. They just word it that way to trick ya into buyin' their overpriced oil pump plug. But guess what? You can disconnect the oil pump and mix your gas, problem solved.
