This company is refusing to refund the tickets that we purchased for the May 2nd running of the Kentucky Derby When the Derby was re-scheduled, I immediately contacted this vendor to request a refund. We had prior travel commitments for September, the new date for the Derby. Due to the national crisis and the uncertainty of what September or even next year will look like, a refund should be given. This vendor claims that they were unable to recoup money from other vendors that they were contracted with and that is why they are not offering refunds.

I purchased tickets to the Moto-GP race in Austin Texas. The event has been canceled and QuinEvents is only offering an 80% refund. I purchased tickets to attend the 2020 Moto GP race in Austin Texas. The event was canceled due to COVID. I was informed by QuintEvents I had an option for an 80% refund or transfer tickets to next year. The dates for the following year don't align with my schedule. They did nothing for me, I think I am entitled to a 100% refund. I made contact with Matt Tessello. He told me the 80% was better than the agreement I signed. He quickly resent the agreement to me, in what I felt, an intimidating gesture. He sent me this after I told him I was going to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

Failure fulfill contract for service. F1 event in Melbourne March - purchased a 4 day package - event cancelled after first evening due to Covid. As part of a trip from the UK to Australia to see family my wife and I decided, as we are F1 fans, to treat ourselves to a 4 day hospitality package via F1 Experiences (seems to be the UK end of Quintevents). We paid £1,800 in two instalments (August and January ) by credit card. We arrived for the first event on the evening of Thursday 12 March and loved every minute of it. Overnight the organisers cancelled the event so we lost out in the events of the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We have been offered a full and final refund of $989.10 (approx £780) which we do not believe is a fair refund bearing in mind the unfulfilled part of the contract. We would ask for your assistance in being offered a more realistic refund. Thanking you in anticipation

Refund amount unacceptable without documentation. Buyer Beware! September 14th received an email concerning the amount QuintEvents will refund for Kentucky Derby tickets (less than 53%) amount originally paid in October last year. When asked for an accounting they pled contract privacy concerns. QuintEvents is dishonest with their advertising. There should be a buyer beware on all QuintEvent contracts. Not tiny little print that get lost in the verbiage. I would gladly have donated a portion of my ticket amount to those that need the money due to covid19 but I suspect the bigwigs at QuintEvents lined their pockets with the money and those at the bottom suffered. QuintEvents offered a refund in March 75% of amount paid. I sent an email saying I should get a choice of a full refund or a credit for next year. They responded since it was rescheduled it is my choice. So I kept my tickets and ultimately the Kentucky Derby was cancelled. At no time did QuintEvents mention that I would not get a full refund if the event was cancelled in September.

The company failed to provide a timely refund as quoted. A friend of mine purchased Kentucky Derby tickets on behalf of our group through Derby Experiences/QuintEvents in 2019. After the events surrounding Coronavirus unfolded and the Derby was rescheduled, he began engaging with the sales team on our behalf to explore our options. I, personally, am currently pregnant and do not have the option to attend in September. Various members of our group have other extenuating circumstances. At the time of this initial contact (May 13), we were quoted an exact refund amount of $14,452.20 (roughly 65% of our original purchase) with a deadline to claim of May 15. We confirmed our intent to request this refund within that time frame via email. Then, 17 business days later (June 9), we were told that the original number given was provided in error and that the refund amount is just over $10,000. A reduction of an additional 15%. I accept that we signed a contract, but am not satisfied with 1) the failure of the company to issue the original refund in a timely fashion following our request and 2) the failure of the company to honor a refund amount that it provided in writing.

I ordered a Champions Club 3-day package for the Canadian Grand Prix which has been canceled and QuintEvents has refused to issue a refund. On 12/12 I ordered a FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA 2020 - Champions Club Rouge 3-Day Ticket (Order ***. I paid $1,449.50. The Grand Prix was subsequently canceled on 4/7. On 4/7 I requested a refund for my ticket due to the cancellation of the event. To date, I have yet to receive a refund for my canceled ticket and QuintEvents has provided no updates as to when that refund will be issued. I have no interest in ever attending another event put on by their company and so pushing that cost forward to another event is not an acceptable resolution to this. I paid QuintEvents $1,449.50 for a ticket to an event and QuintEvents accepted that money. The event was ultimately canceled and QuintEvents has kept my money despite being unable to provide the services I paid for. It is thus inequitable for QuintEvents to retain my funds. In the event a full refund is not issued, a lawsuit for unjust enrichment will be filed against the company. It is not the route I want to take, but the company has left me no choice due to their actions.

They refuse to offer a full refund for a service they did not provide for the Kentucky Derby 2020. of Churchill Downs, as well as the continued threat and restrictions of COVID, we knew we would not be receiving anywhere close to the experience we paid for. We again requested a full refund and were denied one. Several emails were exchanged. They stayed firm with their offer for either a 60% refund, or a 90% transfer to the Derby 2021. Neither of these options were acceptable or appropriate, but they told us that we need to give them a decision by Monday. Since it was clear they were not budging on a full refund, and since we were again worried we would get nothing if we did not make a decision quickly, and since we were not willing to experience the Derby without the full experience, we felt coerced into agreeing to the 90% credit. 2 days after this coerced agreement, it was announced there would be no spectators. We contacted them when we found this out (which wasn't until the day of the derby). We again requested a full refund. September 15: I had not received a response, so I emailed (again) Kim Lankford, SVP of event operations. She responded again that a full refund was not possible. They claim this is set forth in the terms and conditions, but that is not true. The terms and conditions do state that monies are nonrefundable if the race is cancelled, postponed, delayed, or rescheduled. However, the event was not cancelled. The event still took place, just without spectators who paid for an experience. So once again, we purchased an experience package, and now they were unable to fulfill ANY portion of that experience, but still refused to give a full refund.

I Used the services of this company to secure tickets to the Kentucky Derby for 8 people. The first payment to secure our tickets was made to Quint Events/ Derby Experiences on June X XXXX. I originally completed this transaction as a travel agent and a customer attending the Kentucky Derby. At this point I am not acting as a travel agent as I am receiving no compensation for this package. The Derby was cancelled and Quint Events eventually agreed to refund 50% as of May 22 now stalling. Total Package cost for all couples in excess of $130, 000 USD. Started to advise Quint that we were from Canada and due to travel Ban would need to cancel, this notice was firstly provided in March . Kevin L of Quint asked me to be patient until they spoke with their suppliers and knew how much they would get back in order to know what they could refund. I followed up with him numerous times with no change or offer to refund. Then on May 13 they agreed to a refund and wrote in an email to me that these refunds would be processed to each persons credit card no later than June 1. No refunds have been processed I followed up several times and most recently a few days ago, they said they would call me then they sidestepped these calls with emails and then after dealing with Kevin L sales rep I was passed *** Dan H Director of client services and then Taryn Stuart Client Services Manager because Dan had 2 unexpected emergency and could not call me or respond to my email. They then sent me letters of how much each couple would be reimbursed as per my request, but that we would first need to sign docu sign forms accepting the amounts. This was never mentioned on May13... When I received the docu signs the amounts were not accurate, They were less than stated, I notified them of this immediately they then responded end of business that day after saying my observation was accurate and they would get to issuing revised forms but this would take sometime because of their IT department capacity. The day prior Taryn had told me it was Kevin issuing the forms not IT so I am not sure who is being untruthful. Now they are not answering my calls or emails and without the correct amount showing on the form I cannot sign anything to get my refund processed. I originally completed this transaction as a travel agent and also a customer. At this point I am not acting as a travel agent as I am receiving no compensation for this purchase. I am simply trying to recover my funds and those of my travelling companions.
