RainSoft review: Rainsoft RO system & business practices

We are a proud now retired military family of 20 years disabled veterans and never ever have we had to deal with such unjustified treatment. These people at Rainsoft are liars and scammers! Stay away from any sales pitch person walking around in Home Depot. We promise you, you will regret it. We are in the middle of a war with them and their lying staff from the boss down to the technicians. The boss and manager are the most unethical, unprofessional, & unprincipled people we’ve ever dealt with in this life. They installed a system in our home saying we had hard water which the city has now gotten involved to prove them otherwise! We’ve called Rainsoft several times in regards to the alkaline part of this setup not working on more than one occasion just for them to send technicians out who told us that they did not know what the problem was, mind you the one in particular saying this on more than one visit here was the one who installed the entire system. When you call they do not keep accurate notes they lie and don’t even report the issue they find or did not find as in our case. Fast forward to now, they still have our RO system that they removed from our house on their 4th “service” visit of the 6 in total stating they could not figure out what the issue was and would “tinker around with it” at their office, no paperwork nothing just took it and left. They’re now saying the membrane is no good but when they came to our home we were told the membrane was good and a few days later they remove the unit and then call us and say now it’s the membrane? Funny thing how they didn’t blame the membrane the last 4 visits even ordered a part for this unit that wasn’t even the problem they were just guessing because they had no clue and didn’t want to be held accountable for selling us some already broken junk. They held onto delaying fixing our unit all the way up until it was time for our so called 2 year servicing so they could blame the issues on the need for an upcoming $400-$500 maintenance fix due anyway so do that instead when the unit failed months way before this maintenance was to even take place. We had to go into our ring camera history to debunk the lies that they told saying they only came out 3 times within a year when they came 4 times within 2 months. Every time they come here it’s never documented and there’s never any paperwork to verify anything which we now see is part of their scam. Everything they have done thus far has been janky. We are telling you they are not worth the headache you will endure if you get this system. They wanted to charge us $109 service call fee’s for their broken system every time they come out to our house and we refuse to pay for something when their technicians tell us they don’t know what’s wrong with it. As a military family we are very understanding people but to do a disabled veteran the way they have done us is shameful. The warranty is a complete fictitious way to lure you into this nightmare as it covers nothing. They are so desperate to rob and rip off anyone to make money off of people that they’ve stooped so low with asking us to pay $12.50 to cover their gas to come here. We saw the lawsuit they got hit with for lying in New Jersey, all the BBB complaints, Google complaints, changing their name from all the bad complaints and it now makes sense that they are liars all together.
