Remax agent bullies their clients and intimidates them into applying for finance
So this is our first time purchasing a house and we had the WORST experience EVER !
STAY AWAY from REMAX if you do not want to be held hostage by them ...
We went to look at a house in Wellington that was for sale for 1.8 mil.
MY partner said that she would prefer getting pre approved on her own with her choice. The sales agent Marieke Meiring ( Sales Associate / Wellington Area ) advised us that she can also do the pre approval with her people and we said no thanks we will check ourselves.
We then got feedback from our people that we do NOT qualify for the house.
We advised her and she lost her marbles...
She said that we are wasting her time and that she can FORCE us to continue with the application even though we told her that we do NOT qualify !
Needless to say she forced us to submit the application anyway even though we said it is going to fail...
We were forced against our will to apply for the house knowing we will not get it ?
How stupid can one person be ?
So in short she single handedly made this the WORST experience EVER and I feel so sorry for all the rentals and home owners going through Remax ( Sales Associate ) as she holds you hostage and gets rude !
I never ever ever want to see the name REMAX again in my LIFE !
I will be reporting her to the letting agency of South Africa and taking this matter further... ( PPRA & Tribunal )

Real estate tour
Agent cancelled at the last minute a planned get together with me, a real estate investor.
Jake Lee had not arranged the necessary requirements for the primary property of interest, although we had talked of this several days earlier.b Although I told him I wanted to see a lot of different types of properties, he only scheduled a half day and said "maybe we can see a couple". I have been dealing with real estate for 40 years and have never seen this level of incompetence before. He replied the morning of the appointment that nothing was scheduled. Later he changed his story and said when I was upset that he cancelled all other appointments that day.
Desired outcome: None. Disgusted with this real estate agency.
Agent commision not received
Left remax and my broker in November. I have her email stating when the new construction contract closed I'd be paid within 48 hrs. I was in constant contact with my clients and the builder.
2 days before closing she started picking a fight with me and told.me I wasn't to go to closing, inspection, walk through, nothing. She did this on purpose. I have yet to be paid. I contacted an attorney who sent a demand letter. She had ignored it. I will be going after her, remax corporate, and the client to.

Inappropriate photos
Recently a house went up for sale next door, your agent took pictures of the house and yard. Unfortunately he posted pictures of my backyard in add because my yard has more big trees and cleaned up. The house for sale has old tall grass and fallen trees on its lot. So I have had numerous people walking thru my yard along with driving in my yard. The agent also does not explain where lot line is so I have had to put up no trespassing signs to stop people from going into my property. I spoke to agent and explained to him but all I got is oh really. This is not how remax works because I have used you for 3 homes, please refresh this agent on respect and dignityremax expects. Also have him removethe pictureof my property. Thank you keep up the good work!

Home inspection
We were in the process of purchasing a home in Crystal River, FL had our own real-estate agent and were in the process of our home inspection which we paid for. While there BM from Re max who was agent for buyer and had her own person interested in buying came to our inspection with an air conditioning person who inspected the air conditioner (which has to be replaced) saying it was in good working condition. I don not understand why anyone let alone a real estate person do this. Very unprofessional. We did close on our house March 28th 2022
Open house - agent’s behaviour
Date: March 19/2022, open house address: 5845 141 street, time: 3:40 pm . Me and my family enter the house and see that the realtor sitting inside the formal dining doing her work facing back towards the entry, i go inside start looking around so that once she gets free will come and entertain us. She sees us just about 10 steps inside the house uses a condescending/ derogatory tone and tells us to get back outside, asks where the masks are , or if we have an appointment ( which i did) i said where does it say we need a mask as they are not mandatory anymore nor u have a notice to put them on , starts yelling that i should’ve greeted her when i came in .. i was like isn’t that your job to greet who comes in or my job ? ( A person who has customer centred job should not be talking in that tone even to the customers dog )
I did not even look at the property and came out with my older parents and a 11 month old baby.
Ellen Guan is the rudest and the most racially biased realtor i have ever come across .
I would highly appreciate if you took an action against such a realtor .

Unprofessionalism
I am currently a home owner and looking for a property to purchase. I saw the real estate listings on Sunday, February 27th, 2022 and requested a viewing of the property that looked promising from the pictures. I was pleased to receive a prompt response from a Remax agent by the name of Judith the very same day. We agreed to meet on Tuesday, March 1st to view the property. Things went downhill when I got to the location at the specified time. The agent arrived 15 minutes late even though she specifically requested for my cell number when she responded to my email. When she arrived, she apologized but then quickly mentioned that she did not have my cell number to say that she was running late. I kindly reminded her that she did have it since she specifically requested it. Her excuse was that she scribbled the number in her agenda and forgot to bring her agenda even though she could've easily looked for the email exchange on her cellphone and find my number. She brushed my comment aside and began what clearly appeared to be a rehearsed speech. She began by telling my parents and I (my parents accompanied me to the viewing) that there are currently three bidders for the house and that there'll likely be a sell by evening's end. I responded that it's okay and that I'm in no rush to buy property on the spur of the moment. She clearly did not like my response because she went off on a tangent by explaining to me how the housing market works. In short, if I don't buy right away, I will lose out. I said that's fine. I do have a home. I'm in no rush. Instead of leaving it at that, she went on the attack and asked why I was giving attitude. I was speechless until I found my voice and calmly replied that I do not have attitude and that I'm clearing stating where I stand on my housing situation. She took a second jab and said that the housing market is not for people like me who just wait around. I was stunned and proceeded with my own stingy remark. I said the thing I cannot stand the most is people putting pressure on me to make a decision I am not ready to make. When I find the house I would like to buy, I will take the necessary action. Her feeble attempt at an apology was that she was not putting any pressure but just telling me how the market works. Bear in mind that my parents were listening to this unprofessional and aggressive exchange. By then I had lost interest in continuing to view the house, but finished the tour nonetheless for I didn't want the drive to be a wasted trip. She spent the remainder of the tour chatting up my dad and looking at her cellphone while my mom and I pretty much gave ourselves the tour. The house did not live up to my expectations but I am glad that I had the chance to see the property. I do not, however, wish to view other properties that have caught my attention with this agent. Her hostility toward her potential buyers is not an experience I wish to have a second time around.

I spoke to Alicia underwood on the phone and I informed her that I had done some repairs and that I wasn't doing anymore. I was led to believe by her that,that was understood and agreed to. She sent me the listing agreement,so I trusted her and I signed. Now she has told me that she won't list it,unless I do more repairs. Now she is telling me that she is going to show it to investors.
Desired outcome: I want Alicia undrwood terminated and I want her license revoked permanently and I want her broker to shut down.
Seller disclosure /earnest money issues
I was working with a Remax realtor out of Pittsburgh. After we had a house under contract some problems with the house came to light. I never received a seller disclosure and I have asked this realtor several times if he could send it to me and he refused to. So we end up terminating the contract and it has been 30 days and we still have not received our earnest money back. I got the broker involved and they have been no help as well the next step is filing a claim with the attorney general and speaking to my lawyer. By law they have 30 days to get your earnest money back and I have not received it. I have called and left the broker a voicemail with no return call back.
Fraudulent action
Fake agent uses Remax emails and contacts to scam people.. all documentation looks legit until he disappears on the clients..
He uses the name Thulani Zwane, advertises properties on the Property24, Private Property...all in the name of Remax
The way he so professional with this scamming thing all of the emails received are not even seen as spams.

Scheduled an appointment with me 3 days after I called to buy a property with cash in hand she said she was busy but could meet me at the property at 1pm Saturday.
I drove 55 miles ready to purchase and after waiting 1/2 hour I called to find out where she was.
She said she never heard back from me which is a lie as I have email confirmation.
I said I was at the property and would wait then she said she put it under contract 2 hours prior!
No courteousy call NOTHING! complete disregard for me!
Not only did I lose out but the seller also as I was in position to pay $7, 500 over asking price!
I'm really pissed and these realtors don't care anymore because the money has just come too easy and they don't even have to work for it anymore!
But Jesus christ at least treat us with a little dignity

Breach of the Human Rights Code
I am trying to coordinate with one of your agents to view a house for lease on 13 Hocken Avenue MLS#C5435346. She sent me the listing and is refusing to even show me the property unless I provide her with bank statements, a full credit report, proof that I make a minimum of $120, 000 a year or a guarantor, bank statements, recent pay stubs, references, rental history, and letters proving my employment. She has said that this is in the name of the landlord. The landlord is a subsidiary of Remax, I informed her that I would not be getting a guarantor unless there is proof that all other tenants have had to provide one, regardless of income or status, she said that it was only necessary for clients who make less than the 30% income threshold, which I informed her is only legally applicable if this is subsidized housing. She continued to be evasive about showing me the unit and is refusing to do so now. I would like to view this unit, I am a very strong tenant and I do not need to have my human rights breached under the Ontario Human Rights Code just to view a unit. She is being wholly unprofessional and the entire situation is ridiculous. Please get me an agent who will treat me with basic human dignity and maintain my basic human rights just to view a rental in the hope that she might make a commission on renting it.

Real estate agent attitude
So I have been looking at a home on 615 S Cherry St Tomball tx 77375. The agents name is Stacie Fontenot. She called and I didn't know about Remax nor did I know her name at first. I was dumb to not see the agent or anything. I hung up thinking it was a scam call. She emailed me saying "Thanks for hanging up on me I was trying to reach out to you about the home". I emailed her back a few days later because I didn't see the email until then and apologized greatly for the misunderstanding. She hasn't emailed back. So my partner requested to see the house today and no words back and well my partner called and Stacie answered with a "Hello" but with a bit of an aggravated voice. And I said we would love to check out a house for rent. She said "which one" but still has a weird tone. Then my partner told her which house and she says "it's $1200 and you need to make 3xs the rent and have good credit and have a background check done, there is no problems there right?"
My issue is she rubbed me the wrong way since that email and I do not appreciate her attitude. She has sold a lot of houses and looks like she's doing great but I feel it has gotten to her head because customer service should be EXCELLENT in this field in my opinion. Now I feel at a loss and want to try to find somewhere else but my aunt lives down the road and I would love to try to be there.
Desired outcome: I WISH I could get another agent that ISNT against sounding helpful and genuine for this home.

This company was very negligent from the beginning. My house deteriorated in numerous places, and the repairs were super slow. When I confronted the manager, she said that the number of employees she had to fired for not meeting the standards was too many and that it was not her fault and always blamed the person she fired befoer. I had otc change the Rental Manager, and this lady had the audacity y to try to take legal issues saying that she has a contrary, meanwhile my how to continue to deteriorate with prolonged repairs being conducted on the property. I had to get lawyers to contact her, and she backed up and provided the deposit to the new property manager. However, she did not provide a copy of my initial inspections when her company received the home from me or the key for my property. Now I am pursuing legal avenues with the BBB and the to get the documents and compensation she did to my house under her management; please stay away from this if you do not want to have an unpleasant experience and your house deteriorate with no supervision and accountability. His excuse was always that the only othing she said that was only responsible was for my payment to his my account, not for the repairs or finding a contractor to fix my deterioration home. The inspection, which I never got one until I had to ask one-two year out. Hopefully, she will provide this the Beter Bussiness beauty, other legal representatives. The transition from her property manager to my new agency was a nightmare. Lawyers had to get involved. She never gave us the initial inspection, making it hard to keep the tenants accountable for the damage to the home. Still do not have the keys or the initial inspection when I signed the hoe to her.

Unethical Behavior
Rented a home that turned out wasn't up to code. Gas had to be shut off because landlord (Remax Agent) didn't fix anything before move in. Electrical only worked 12% of the time we were there. We had to pay to break the lease. The house was not usable. After we left, turns out she listed the home for sale so now some poor home owner will be tasked with fixing the issues she didn't care to fix.

Trying to purchase a 180, 000$ home and my realtor Dabniy Ludwig is the worst I've ever encountered. She will only message me back after 24 hours. Refuses to answer the phone so everything is done over text message when she "feels" like getting back to me. I will never use remax again and I will let all my friends and loved ones know to avoid this absolutely [censored]ty service.
Realtor violation of Ethics
This complaint is against Pilar Alvarez in Dorado, PR 00646. This realtor contacted and show property Paseo las Palmas, 16 Calle Palma de coco. This property was under contract and Mrs Alvarez contacted seller and offered a cash offer plus money under the table.. almost causing the seller to cancel my contract and consider hers, then to make matters worse, Mrs Alvarez is the president of said property Association.. again abusing her authority by not providing paperwork needed to close on this property.

High pressure sales and religious innuendos
Please with Sylvia Mozer does not call or cantact me anymore. After three times of me cancelling and appointment (texts an voicemails) and telling her not to contact me anymore, she sends me a text saying she's going to stop by anyway.
I then had to remind her that our gated community does not permit unsolicited sales visits in the neighborhood and again clearly told her not to contact me only to send back what I considered an offensive mean spirited mess with comments like "you win", your loss not mine"and then finally totally unacceptable comment" Everyone else thinks It's a miracle they found me. GOD IS THERE FOR EVERYONE BUT NOT ALL SEES THE SIGN
The audacity of this comment implying she is God sent and if I don't see the benefit of working with her somehow I'm not hearing from God.
I find this last comment appalling, in this day and age. I'm an ordained minister and even I don't try to tell people they're not hearing from God if the don't agree with me.
Just want you to know and have a heads up that I'm going to find the correct oversight body(s) to see if this whole experience is ethical, is it cyber bullying (which I feel it is)

Complaint on Agent Brett Tortorich Hattiesburg Ms License# 52779
I recently purchased a new construction pre sold home and from the beginning of the process Brett was unprofessional. He was the sellers (Bryce) agent and failed to stay in contact with my agent on several things. For instance the plan on it showed the home came with shutters he never relayed this to me in the signed addendum or listing and I did not find out until the end that the home did not have shutters. He told me that they weren't gone build them for free and when my agent showed him addendum and floor plan he acted as if we were getting on his nerves for a mistake he made. He does not hold accountably for actions and is pretty much a know it all realtor. I had to keep up with the progress of the home my self by driving by the home constantly. After taking prepossession early due to I had to move out of my apartment because we had changed the move out date several times due to him giving false completion dates on home. I had several issues that had to be addressed including seal for the door. My realtor reached out to Brett and was pretty much talked to by him like a child. He is very unprofessional and needs to be taken back to training to get better customer service communication skills. I have attached a couple screenshots below of his rude remarks. One in which he told me the shutters were not going to be built for free after he never informed me they were sold separately and lastly he told my realtor she was welcome for him allowing us to take early possession of a home that they failed to complete on time due to contractors taking a whole month off of not working on the home and blaming it on rain which many of the things could have been done inside. He is a poor representation of your company and I will never purchase a home with him involved ever. To think I spent 257k on a home and I'm very unhappy with it. His behavior and unprofessional way with words did not make it any better. He was rude and unprofessional throughout process and for that I will not recommend your company to anyone.

I recently put a offer on a home at 689 Ennis Ter NW Port Charlotte for the full asking price then the agent told me i should offer more than the asking price. This is [censored] ! Because I did not. I lost the chance to purchase this home. The agent was Mark Bowsher 24001 Peachland Blvd ReMax Unit D in Port Charlotte. very dissatisfied...will not recommend doing business with this company !
