Rental management Company wont do important fixings since 2019 while keep on sending eviction notes to leave
Rental management Company wont do important fixings since 2019 while keep on sending eviction notes to leave. We put in lots of health and safety fixings since 2019 but they still not done. Since Aug 2020, rodents are coming in through damages we reported in Apr 2019. When it rains, our house gets flooded cuz of unsafe structures. There might be mold under a sink we asked to fix since Oct 2020. Instead of fixing stuff, they keep sending eviction notes.
I need help getting out of my lease and getting my deposit back
I need help getting out of my lease and getting my deposit back. I've been contacting the property managers and maintenance about problems with the property, but they haven't been responsive. The roof has been leaking since May and it's only gotten worse during hurricane season. It took them over a month to deal with a termite infestation. I even had to pay for subterranean termite bait stations out of my own pocket, which cost $99 a month. Just yesterday, the ceiling in my living room collapsed and it was an emergency situation. I've been calling since then for immediate assistance, but no one is doing anything. It looks like more of the ceiling might cave in. I have a 15-month-old son and if he had been home when the ceiling collapsed, he could've been hurt. This is a real safety concern for me and my family.
Real Property Management Tampa St
Real Property Management Tampa St. Pete is not good at fixing things. The place I'm renting is not up to code. I rented it on June 5th, and ever since then, I've had a lot of problems. It's really hard to get them to send someone to fix things, and when they finally do, it takes them weeks. First, the air conditioning broke, and then the stove. It took them forever to fix both. About a month ago, there was a big storm and the whole place flooded because the doors didn't have any weather stripping. I told them about this problem two weeks before the storm, but they didn't do anything. The flood ruined my furniture. And then, a week later, a pipe burst and dirty sewer water flooded the place. It ruined my bed, carpets, and most of my child's clothes. I can't even use the kitchen faucet. I've called them many times, but all they do is send someone to look at it. They never fix anything. Sherri from Real Property Management lies about everything! She said she would take care of the problem and have someone call me about my damaged stuff, but no one ever did. Now she won't even answer my calls, and neither will anyone else in the office. I called code enforcement on them, and they found 6 big violations that need to be fixed in 10 days. But it's been 11 days and nothing has been done. My child and I can't use the kitchen, my child doesn't have a bed to sleep in, and we're stuck in a house with sewage. They won't fix anything or help me with my losses.

My husband and I wanna be let go from lease without penalty or damages to our credit due to unlivable living conditions
My husband and I wanna be let go from lease without penalty or damages to our credit due to unlivable living conditions. Hi, where do I start? I've been renting since December and it's been a total nightmare. Within a week of moving in, we had flooding in the back room because of the rain. Then we had plumbing problems shortly after. The toilet would clog up and overflow, even coming through the bathtub (gross). After that, we had a leaky roof in the back room. The room was turned into a bedroom, but I don't think it's up to code. We also had an issue with the P trap, which was never installed, so the whole house smelled really bad. Then the lights started randomly shutting off. The fridge also gave us trouble. And there's mold in one of the bathrooms, which we had someone from Servpro come and check. They confirmed there's mold, and it's even showing up in one of the bedrooms. The ceiling is all bubbly. And just last night, we had more plumbing problems with water overflowing and coming through the walls. I think the water touched something electrical in the kitchen because there was a loud pop and spark. I didn't know where it came from, but my husband noticed the stove was off this morning. He turned the breaker back on, but it sparked again and nothing came back on. He looked at the stove wiring and it looks really old and messed up! It's low to the ground and hanging off. It looks like it's been there for 20 years or more. It's just crazy and definitely a fire hazard. Eventually, my husband found another breaker on the side of the house and turned it on, except for the stove. Now we can't cook because we don't have a stove. With all these problems, we've had to go back and forth with the rental company. Some things took months to get fixed, and even then, there are still issues like the flooding, mold, and the smell from the shower drain. We had to buy our own fridge since they never came. There were times when my husband had to try to fix things himself, like going on the roof to seal a leak, but we still had problems. He even had to dig trenches in the pouring rain to stop water from flooding the back room. I have videos of all these things. At the end of February, I sent a notice saying I wouldn't pay rent until they fixed the flooding issue (which was the main problem at the time). They called and said they would send someone, but no one ever came. Before I knew it, I got a notice to pay by 3/16. So I thought I would have to go to court because they never showed up. But then the Coronavirus happened and everything shut down. Code enforcement couldn't come either. April came and the rental company still hadn't fixed anything. All we got were empty promises like "someone is coming" who never showed up. Or they sent people who didn't even know why they were sent and they rigged things up, but we still had problems (like flooding). Then I got another letter saying we had to be out by 4/20, and the guy told me I'd be homeless. Well, as time went on, the house started falling apart even more. I was just gonna give the judge my rent and show our videos and text messages, but since the courts aren't open for evictions, we just want out of our lease now. We always paid our rent. I never missed a payment until I sent the notice. I feel like we shouldn't be punished and have our credit affected because landlords always seem to have the advantage in situations like this. Oh, and there are termite problems too! There are holes in the ceiling in one of the rooms.
