Renault Northcliff Car mileage tempered with, signature forged.

My name is Tinyiko Ndaba, I purchased a car from Renault Northcliffe and took ownership of the car on the 22 July 2024 and when I collected the car the mileage was around 15000 kms, when I took my car for a service in September it was around 30000kms, only to be told that the milage on my car doesn't correspond with the records on the system as according to the system the car was on 1 k in January 2024 already, and the 30 k service was done in May 2024 already. I then contacted the sales person who sold me the car and he never came back to me and I called the sales manager who then said he'd look into the matter. A week later I went to the dealership only to be told that the car was over 30k kilometres when I got it and I asked them to show me the contract, upon looking at the "original" contract, I realised that my signature has been forged and then told that I can take the matter up with the ombudsman as they didn't temper with the mileage and then told that I might have done something to the car as they would never do that to the car. They told me to leave and they will get back to me and I still haven't heard from them.

Recommendation: Keep records of the mileage of the car, take pictures and save them to avoid such. Be weary of the fraudulent activities at Renault Northcliffe and don't become a victim like me.

This email servers as a formal complaint and a request for upliftment of my contract from renault due to terrible service and my vehicle not being fixed as agreed upon by renault northcliff as well as the poor service.

I submitted my offer to purchase on the 13/12/2019 for the renault megane which was approved and paid a r50 000 deposit on the 18/12/2019. after test driving the car, I told the salesman henry gwala about the problems I found with the car, namely breaks, shocks, discs, window tint, air con and there was no spare key, which the henry confirmed all will be sorted out.

I was only able to collect the car on the 23/12/2019, I should have known from then that this dealership has really bad service. upon collecting the car I realized that none of the above issues were sorted out on the car to which henry apologies and said I should come back in the new year as the workshop was closed. I did not use the car as the breaks were very bad and parked it off in my garage waiting till the workshop opened again in the new year.

I called henry the first week of january asking him when I can bring the car and was told to only bring it in on the 13/01/2020. I dropped the car off early on the 13th and received a loan car as agreed.

I collected the car yesterday 04/02/2020 after numerous calls to find out why is it taking so long and was told the parts were not there yet and I had to wait. after driving the car I realized that a lot of the issues I had email the salesman has still not been sorted even after waiting almost a month. I called the salesman to find out why they did not replace some parts and was told that I should talk to the manager as he doesn't know what was done, that is terrible service! I also asked about the spare key and was told he forgot about it. the dealer did not even stamp the service book. I am not willing to wait another month for them to fix everything, this all should have been resolved. I am very disappointed with renault and now the brand as well and will not support any renault dealer going forward.

Since my application 13/12/2019 till now 07/02/2020 I still have not used my car and I have paid the first installment already!

Renault Northcliff clash kit damaged, the car is less than a year.

Good day

On the 19 December 2019 i took in my car for a service at Renault North cliff, when i took it in it had a funny sound when i reverse, even after the service i could still hear the same sound, the i called to book it in on the 22 January 2020 and i was told the is a problem with the clash kid and the parts were ordered and will take two week to be delivered, and, I am being told this by the receptionist and not the mechanic

My concerns are:

1-why the problem was not picked up when i brought it in for service in December 2019
2-is my life safe, as Im not sure how much is damage is on the car
3-The car is 11 months old and already i am experiencing problems

Renault Northcliff wrong car parts twice

Good day,

I ordered a Renault Captur mirror cover from Renault Northcliff on the 26th of June (Proof of payment was sent immediately). I received confirmation that the cover was delivered on the 28th of June, i went to collect it and found out that the cover is not the correct one for my car even though the VIN number was provided. I was told by Walter that he will return it and request the correct one from the warehouse. On the 29th i was told that the warehouse doesn't have the cover therefore it will have to be ordered from FRANCE, that will take 10 - 15 working days. This morning i received a call to be advised that my mirror cover has finally been delivered but IT IS ALSO A WRONG ONE. I asked how long should i wait now for the cover again and no one seem to know. All Walter could say was "I have sent an email to the warehouse then the warehouse will speak to France "

This is not acceptable, I've been driving around for almost a month with that mirror and now i should wait for God knows what.

Renault Northcliff damage to vehicle

My husband's vehicle was sent for repairs to the starter, collected on a flat bed trailer. When collecting the vehicle the dealership workshop damage the seat & it could not adjust forward. Complaint lodged. Driver collected vehicle and in route to the dealership negligently drove into another vehicle. After numerous discussions we received written confirmation that the vehicle will be repaired by Reanault.

More than a month later we were advised that we should fraudulently lodge a claim with our personal insurer & they will pay the excess. Unfortunately we are not prepared to bleed our insurer dry & lodge any fraudulent claims never mind our insurer then liable for the damage to the third party involved & our no claim bonus affected. This type of criminal behavior is why the man on the street has to pay more for their insurance

Renault Northcliff Sold a car under false information

I bought a car from Renault northcliff and asked for them to source me a second car (nissan np200) They agreed and sold me the nissan np200 as a new 2016 model. Now I need to sell the car and only to find out it was registered as a used 2015 model, this decreases the value tremendously. I sent them an email about this and got ZERO response, meanwhile I need to get this vehicle sold as soon as possible and do you think they care that through their ***** up, I suffer?.
