I have been a client of the Rite Aid store located in Menifee, CA for 11 years. I have never experienced the current nightmare of not being able to get my daughter's life or death medications as I have in the previous 11 years. The Lorazepam was held for several days with the newly installed disturbing and unnaceptable red tape induced process at Rite Aid and I had to drive 250 miles (roundtrip) to the UCLA Medical Center to get her some pills since we had run out. Now we have the same issue with the Clobazam, which has been held back for four days waiting to get a code from the head office to get a refill. This blatant stupidity and imbecilic corporate strategy are engaging in medical malpractice since it is denying life support medication to a critical patient. The childish excuse given to me by your local pharmacist is that these are controlled medications, which now require some red tape induced manure by incompetent managers who should all be working in non-critical, non-important industry. A manager, pharmacist, CEO or president who engages in this type abominal business practice should be prosecuted by the law
Claimed loss: Had to drive 250 miles to get medications delayed by Rite Aid and the same issue is about to happen again
Desired outcome: Fill my daughter's medication on time as has been done for 11 years. Anyone with the ability to make the proper decision may call me at [protected]
