This product showed up as an ad in every social media platform and finally, I decided to try it. I purchased what I thought was could be a one time package of the coffee and the matcha. However, not only was I now signed up for a an auto-renewed subscription, but when I logged in, found out there is no way to cancel.
So I reached out via email in response to my order, and requested to cancel. I also asked for a refund for the unopened product, which I would happily return.
Alex Crusoe responded initially, but has them gone silent. He as me for more information about what I didn’t like. Personally, I didn’t care for the taste and didn’t want to drown the product in excess sweetener just to mask the taste.
I then tried to find another way to get help and tried to connect with the company through the Shop app. The phone number is invalid and has a message that requires you to email the same person.
In turn, I ended up duplicating my effort and now the company won’t respond to me at all. I am beyond frustrated and want others to know how difficult this process has been to perhaps save them the same fate.
I still have yet to confirm my cancellation or refund.
